AYOOOOOO Ca fait longtemps que j'ai rien posté, mais j'ai ENFIN fini de bosser sur cette commission que j'avais demandée à la ô combien MERVEILLEUSE CabraClock, donc voici le résultat de notre collaboration! Cabra s'est occupée du lineart et des aplats de couleur, ce qui rend la pose du personnage absolument fantastique, dynamique et tout ce qu'on veut, tout en ajoutant des détails plus que sympathiques au design général. Bref, c'est de la bombe de balle. Mon boulot se limite donc à la mise en relief, aux effets visuels et à tout ce qui touche au shading. Et je pense que ça s'est pas trop mal passé. ----------------------- AHOY! Long time no post, but I have finally laid my hands on the commission I asked to the oh so wonderful CabraClock, and here is the result of our collaboration! Cabraclock worked on the lineart and the colour flats, with wonderful linework giving the whole character much dynamism and everything that looks good, as well as adding some welcome elements to the character's design. All in all, it rocks your socks off. Twice. My work was limited to shading, adding highlights, visual effects and so on over the flats and lines, and I think it went quite well. ---------------------- Seriously, I just love Cabraclock's work, so check everything about her, give her some love. Ricardo's Webcomic Recommendation: Our Personal Purgatory

Hey kids! It's been awhile since I did a review/recommendation for anything in a while, so, to warm myself up for more reviews and stuff I'd like to tell you about a little comic called Our Personal Purgatory...

This little comic was created by Circe Bogart (a collaborator to Vivienne Medrano's work), it follows a man named Jerry who is in purgatory, and...that's about it for the story part of it, for those who are unaware OPP is a rather new webcomic with only about 10 or so pages to its name at the moment, but even though the story aspect is up in the air at now, the ART is definitely defined...

[Every time I hear "Jerry" I keep thinking of Seinfeld]

The art strikes as similar to Vivz art style but with a more weathered and darker look to it, I'd rather not spoil every single page of the story so far, but I will say the opening pages are a marvel to behold.

OVERALL: Check it out, it's pretty cool.
