But would it be alright if you aged up the character so they're both adults?

(I don't ship them tbh I only ship the 2 sea ladies, Luberto and Ciccio x Guido)

and no. that's what i've been trying to say. i've been saying even if they're aged up to both be adults (or just aging giulia up which is worse!!), it's still weird. you (not you, just a general audience You) are seeing a canonical child and a canonical adult (taking in enrico casrarosa's age estimations into consideration) interact on screen and wanting to see them kiss, date, whatever the hell.. but people have to go the extra length to make them older so that they can draw this stuff and 'not get in trouble for it'... but that's still a child, it doesnt matter if it's your au.

even if you don't think ercole is an adult, and is sixteen like he claims (which is him literally lying but ynow Headcanons..) you have to consider the fact he knew giulia AT LEAST since she was EIGHT. to me, this is like if you were a teenager and you babysat a kid for years, and then you started to date them when they became old enough?? i just think that's really creepy. ercole watched/is watching giulia grow up essentially. why would he want anything to do with her in That Sense.

i have to compare all of this to this simple scenario: if you had two children characters and aged them up so you can draw NSFW of them, that would be extremely weird and gross. it's the same deal. why are you looking at children and seeing them in adult situations? why do you WANT to see them in those situations, even aged up? it's okay to age them up for aus, but if you age them up and then proceed to draw them having sex that's really fucking gross. them being adults in your little au doesn't change the fact you saw minors and wanted to see them in that situation.
