I think an underrated genre of ship is the ones that exist pretty much entirely because they're two of the only semi-developed characters and the fandom's main ship is one that you just don't mess with, so these two are just always also dating in the background of fics about the main ship.

Churchtarts. This post is about churchtarts. You don't fuck with mcpriceley, arnold x nabulungi is basically canon and these two are like the only other missionaries who come close to being actual characters, and even then, all we know about Church is that his dad used to beat his mom, and all we know about Thomas is that he likes pop tarts, his sister died from cancer and he missed it because he was at the apple store, and he's probably Mckinley's companion.

I'm like 90% sure they never interact within the musical but they're always together in the background of like every Mcpriceley fic, and I love that.

A few months ago, I began rewriting a fanfiction very dear to my heart that I shared in 2021 when I first published it. I am now ready to share what I've been working on with the rest of the world 🩷

This is a Mcpriceley fanfiction, set in an alternate universe where characters are the same yet their situations are far from it.

Connor Mckinley is working a minimum wage job in a place very dear to his heart. Surrounding him are childhood friends and a work family stronger than his own, and all is well when they are by his side. When evening calls however, he returns home to a cluttered flat in a rundown apartment block; his bills are mounting up at his doorstep, and the love whom he cares for refuses to pay a dime.

Despite his lack of effort, Connor loved Steve Blade. As much as a human being could love. But nobody warned him of the pain love would bring.

Kevin Price however brought him bliss, and replenished a childhood nostalgia and safety he longed to feel for years prior. This longing made him question what was so special about 'love'. Who would weep for anguish and heartache, when heaven was laying right at their doorstep?

THE LIST IS TOO LONG SO IT’S DIVIDED IN TWO PARTS. PART 2

Each fanfiction will be categorized by genre (angst, fluff, smut, etc.), in each category I try to arrange it by author as well, and there will be other things listed under it like:

·         Ships (well, you kinda know the ships by now.)

·         “R” means “I’ve read it” and “NR” means “Not yet read”

·         My comments (mostly only on my favorites)

·         Description

·         Whether it’s finished, unfinished, or ongoing, and;

·         Warnings

If I didn’t read it, I won’t put any of my comments, and under the mixed category, I’d state the different genres it can fall under. Also, the reason why I’m putting whether I’ve read it or not is because I’m slowly getting disinterested in McPriceley (I still love it though) and haven’t gotten motivation to read some new fanfictions, but still, I know that some fanfictions are really well-written and deserve to be on this list.

ALSO, note that I do not ship some ships here like Pricingham and some other random ships. I only ship McPriceley, Arnaba, ChurchTarts, and some background OC/something ships. Some of these fanfictions I haven’t read but I know some other people will enjoy them so I add them to the list. And even if some of these fics revolve around dark themes, it doesn’t mean I condone some of these.
