Short Film
PRELIMINARY TASK
The above extract is a short 1 minute video that encompasses the journey of a college student early in the morning. It describes the change in her surroundings along with the different types of people and activities that are involved in her daily routine as she is on her way to college in Churchgate.
For me, this was the first time I had recorded something as a media student. After attending detailed ectures on types of shots and angles, the shooting process had become much more technical. Since I am a college student myself, I travel alone to the premises alone. This made the film more relatable for me and gave me a clearer idea as to what shots I wa Ted in which locations. Filming in a moving vehicle was difficult but I made sure to practice to keep my hands steady as I was determined to capture the shot.
