The International Church of Cannabis

It might sound too good to be true, but The International Church of Cannabis is a very real thing indeed. It might actually be the coolest church you've ever heard of, and here's why.

The main goal of the church is to allow it's congregation to partake in cannabis as they wish in a safe and legal environment, in order to reach their spiritual and creative goals. The congregation calls themselves Elevationists and the best part is, the church encourages people of all faiths to visit, share ideas, and participate in the many events they plan on having throughout the years. The official opening will be in a few days on April 20th, 2017 in Colorado, however the congregation could use a helping hand from the global community.

The lovely church that they've repainted with a more Elevationist-friendly style is over 100 years old, and with that in mind there are a lot of things that need to be repaired. The boiler/furnace is on it's last legs, and many congregation members aren't able to make it up and down stairs to access other areas of the building. The International Church of Cannabis has set up a indiegogo campaign and as I'm typing this they have raised $25,000 towards their $65,000-100,000 goal. This church sounds like an amazing place that has the potential to foster some amazing changes in their community and even worldwide, so please check out the video and campaign below:
