TASK 3:
The artwork engages with the surrounding environment of Berghain by transforming its cold, industrial materials into a dynamic, flowing sculpture that contrasts with the rigid, monolithic structure of the building. In terms of line, the sculpture features sweeping, curved lines that create a sense of motion and fluidity. These lines counterbalance the Berghain building's strict, vertical and horizontal lines, emphasising its solidity and immovability. The undulating lines of the sculpture appear to ripple and dance, mirroring the energy and freedom associated with the dance culture inside the club.
The sculpture's shape is amorphous and organic, lacking the precise geometric boundaries that define the architecture behind it. These soft, curved shapes suggest a sense of transformation as if the hard materials of corrugated iron and brick are being melted and reshaped by an invisible force. This transformation symbolises how Berghain's interior environment reshapes the identities and experiences of those who enter, creating a space where rigid social norms are dissolved.
Texture plays a crucial role in the piece, with the familiar roughness of corrugated iron and brick being reinterpreted through digital manipulation. The once coarse and unyielding surfaces are made to appear smooth, almost liquid, contributing to the overall sense of movement. The textural transformation also adds a tactile quality to the sculpture, inviting the viewer to imagine the sensation of these materials becoming soft and pliable, further enhancing the contrast with the stark, weathered exterior of Berghain.
The colour palette is dominated by vibrant pinks, purples, and iridescent hues, which stand in stark contrast to the muted grey tones of the building. These colours inject warmth and vibrancy into the space, symbolising the hidden joy and energy that Berghain embodies. The reflective surfaces within the sculpture catch the light in unexpected ways, creating a play of highlights and shadows that add to the sense of motion and fluidity.
INSPOS
Olafur Eliasson
Olafur Eliasson creates large-scale installations that often interact with natural elements like light, water, and air. His work encourages viewers to engage with their environment in new ways. Eliasson's The Weather Project (2003) at Tate Modern is a prime example of how he uses spatial art to transform public spaces, making viewers more aware of their surroundings and the impact of natural phenomena.
Christo and Jeanne-Claude
Known for their monumental environmental works, Christo and Jeanne-Claude's projects often involve wrapping large structures or landscapes in fabric, temporarily altering the perception of these spaces. Their work The Gates (2005) in Central Park, New York, is a notable example. They transformed the park into a sea of saffron-coloured gates, altering how people moved through and experienced the space.
Maya Lin
Maya Lin's work often intersects with landscape and memory, as seen in her design of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C. She uses minimalistic forms to create powerful spaces for reflection, with an acute awareness of how people move through and interact with the environment. Her focus on creating spaces that resonate emotionally with viewers aligns with my interest in exploring trauma and resilience.
Anish Kapoor
Anish Kapoor is known for his large-scale sculptures that often play with perception, form, and space. His public art installations, such as Cloud Gate (2006) in Chicago, interact with the environment and viewers, creating immersive experiences. Kapoor's manipulation of reflective surfaces and forms inspires my work with materials and textures, especially in how they transform the perception of space.
Nancy Holt
Nancy Holt's earthworks and site-specific installations often explore the relationship between space, light, and the viewer's perception. Her work Sun Tunnels (1976) in the Utah desert invites interaction with the landscape and natural light, challenging viewers to engage with their surroundings in a contemplative manner.

2. I got artwork number 15, titled, "The Gates" by, Christo and Jeanne Claude 1979-2005. Here are five facts I learned about the assigned art and artist.
The project "The Gates" took nearly 30 years to be realized since the idea was first conceived, the project lasted a period of about 2 weeks in New York's one and only Central Park.
There was a little over 7,500 gates spanning 16 feet tall and going on for 23 miles in all directions of Central Park's Walkways.
The pair Christo and Jeanne Claude met in Paris and were later married in 1959.They shared the love of complex and elaborate projects, that sometimes took years and maybe even decades to be realized.
The pair received the 1995 Praemium Imperiale award, which highlights extraordinary contributions for promotion in the development and progress of the arts.
The artwork was made so that it wouldn't change the environment that it is displayed through at all. For example, there were no holes drilled to make the steel for the legs in the gates.
3. Yes, absolutely, my perspective from the initial glance at this artwork has changed the more that I look at it. I do see something different now in the artwork. Initially I thought that the gates symbolized the perception of our environment how something such as a sidewalk can have such significance that is often overlooked by many. However, now I've come to think of the idea of "The Gates" as a passage of time. The project took decades before it was eventually realized and throughout this time there was much preparation in order to make this idea a reality. The "Gates" symbolizes the aforementioned passage of time, while the surrounding park tells a greater story. This being all the choices and decisions the artists needed to make in this passage of time.
Here is a photo of the artwork:
Tumblr media
The painting I have selected is precious to me, not only is it one I enjoy but the painter Marcus Jansen is also my uncle, my dad's cousin. The painting is titled (decolonize #18) and was released (2024). The media used to create this work was acrylic paints on arches paper through the process called (monotype), using a gel pad to achieve the effect he wanted. Which is like works in the series called “Decolonize.”  The art serves a use as a cultural enriching tool to find something unique that reflects contemporary times to our visual history purposes. I do think that this painting is beautiful, it is something my uncle worked hard to produce and shows his grit and determination for the arts. This gives me a sense of pride in this painting and his artwork. I also enjoy the meaning of the painting and how it literally paints a picture of colonial figures and the power and supremacy these figures had over that of many.
Tumblr media
While I dug deep to find the baggage that has followed me in art. I bring along a very analytical and personal perception when I look at art. I try to find a sense of empathy in artwork. I feel that in life, especially today, people tend to not be emphatic towards each other and I have experienced this firsthand. This is why I bring the “baggage” mentioned before with me. I am 19 years old, the gender I align with is a male, I was born in New York but have grown up and been raised in Florida since an early age, I am ethnically mixed, my father being Caribbean and my Mother European. Additionally, for fun I like to go to the beach with friends and my family, especially to watch the sunset. I am a member of the FBLA and HPSC clubs at SCF (State College of Florida,). I work at a restaurant. Some things that I feel make me uniquely me is my passion for wanting to take care of my family which can be seen in how I am profoundly serious about finances at an early age (especially the stock market). I have been trading stocks ever since the day I turned 18. This has made me in a sense disconnected from material objects and monetarily needs. This has made me put more weight on family values and the needs of others before myself, most importantly their perspective.
In my daily life I am always so fascinated by the complexity of nature and how so many individual things work so well with others. Also, I am always so curious about space which is translated into my curiosity of people and their decision making. Lastly, the biggest thing in my daily life is the fascination to do better than the previous day. Here is a self-portrait which describes me.

Week 1 Artist Research
Christo and Jeanne-Claude: The Gates (2005)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Background:
Large-scale environmental sculptures by renowned artists Christo and Jeanne-Claude are commended for transforming public spaces into immersive creative experiences. One of their best-known works, The Gates, was finished in Central Park, New York City, in February 2005. The artists' vast effort, which took them over 26 years to finish, is evidence of their dedication and perseverance with their goal. The installation was eventually finished, despite a number of logistical, administrative, and financial challenges; this is a testament to their tenacity and creative energy.
Details:
Location: New York City's Central Park
Time: February 12–February 27, 2005.
Materials: 7,503 steel-framed gates covered in fabric dyed saffron. Every gate was 16 feet tall and ranged in width from 5 feet 6 inches to 18 feet.
Cost: Approximately $21 million, all covered by the revenues from the sales of Christo and Jeanne-Claude's models, preparatory sketches, and other artwork.
Installation:
As part of the 23 km of trails in Central Park, 7,503 gates were installed as part of The Gates project. Each gate was fashioned from a flowing panel of saffron-colored linen. It was supported by two vertical steel supports and hung from a horizontal crossbar. The gates provide a dynamic and captivating visual spectacle as they gently move in the breeze. The bright saffron cloth, in sharp contrast to the wintry surroundings of Central Park, produced an aesthetically pleasing promenade that was warm and welcoming for guests.
The artists employed a team of hundreds of people to erect the gates in order to minimize any impact on the park's environment. Every gate was assembled on site and placed to follow the park's path patterns throughout the meticulous installation process. After the project was completed, all of the materials used to build the gates were meant to be repurposed.
Reflection:
The Gates altered Central Park and encouraged visitors to view the well-known landscape from a different angle. The vivid saffron cloth, in stark contrast to the chilly surroundings, brought warmth and color to the park. The proposal featured people as an essential part of the artwork by enticing them to enter the gates.
One of the most significant aspects of the Gates was its capacity to bring people together. Visitors from all around the world felt a sense of unity and shared experience as a result of the exhibit. The project was a unique occasion that emphasized the beauty of a fleeting experience because it was only temporary.
Christo and Jeanne-Claude provided the Gates with autonomous funding, which preserved their creative independence. They may continue to create art according to their vision without interference from the government or benefactors.
To sum up, Christo and Jeanne-Claude's amazing work of public art, The Gates, transformed Central Park and provided an unforgettable experience for those who witnessed it. It illustrated how art has the power to bring people together and alter their perception of their environment.

Richard Serra: Tilted Arc (1981)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Background:
Renowned American sculptor Richard Serra is well-known for his massive steel structures. One of his best-known sculptures, Tilted Arc, was installed in 1981 at Federal Plaza in New York City. The artwork sparked a contentious conversation regarding public art and how it affects public areas.
Details:
Location: Federal Plaza in New York City. Duration: installed in 1981, removed in 1989. Materials: Corten steel. Dimensions: 120 feet long by 12 ft high. Cost: Funded by the Art-in-Architecture Program of the United States General Services Administration.
Installation:
The huge Tilted Arc steel wall bent to split Federal Plaza in half. The rust color of the steel stood out sharply against the background. The artwork was intended to interact with the plaza and alter its experience because it was designed to be site-specific.
Reflection:
Tilted Arc significantly altered Federal Plaza's user experience. Its imposing presence disrupted some, but forcing them to maneuver around it provoked thought in others. The sculpture was meant to make individuals more conscious of their surroundings and their movements within them.
Still, the piece generated a lot of controversy. Many in the workforce in the region felt that it was an eyesore and a barrier, which led to public hearings and discussions. The fact that Tilted Arc was eventually demolished in 1989 due to a court order highlights the complex relationship that exists between public art and its audience.
In summary, Richard Serra's Tilted Arc was a powerful piece of public art that challenged preconceptions and sparked important discussions on the role and importance of art in public spaces. Even after it was removed, it is still recognized as a significant work of contemporary art history.

an introduction, tell us one little known fact about you.
Hello all! My name is Alisa Sokolov and a few facts about me are that I love to be outdoors running or spending time at the beach. I recently moved from Illinois and love the weather here in Florida much better.
2.  Then, in list form, detail 5 new facts you were able to find out about your assigned artist or the art work.
Christo and Jeanne-Claude 1979-2005 The Gates. Steel, Vinyl, Fabric; 7,503 gates, 16’ tall, 23 miles
-This piece of art was found in Central park which included the completion of 7,503 panels which were made out of fabric.
-The fabric was weaved, sown and all put together in Germany.
-The Gates were fully financed by Christo and Jeanne-Claude and they did not take any donations or help from anyone else.
-The Gates looked like two different things from different angles. When looking at it from above, it looked like a golden river as it was flowing through the leafless tree branches.
-The teams that installed these Gates were responsible for installing 100 panels per team. Each team included 8 people.
3. Did the way you think about the art change from the first time you looked at it? Do you see anything different in the art now?
When I first found out about this assignment, I expected my piece to be a painting or a drawing but this was an interesting idea to call art but definitely expanded my mind to more art as this piece is a big selection of pieces all put together to create one big piece of artwork. My idea of art changed a lot because art is more than just a picture or painting. I was able to see more detail in my art piece knowing how much effort was put into it as well as the color being so bright which can bring someone so much joy on a gloomy day.
2.  Art and writing
The piece of art I chose for this assignment is a painting of a river in the center, tall trees on each side of the river and some mountains in the back. This piece of art is very beautiful in my opinion because it is simple and easy to tell what it is. It is painted so it looks as if it were very textured although that is just the illusion because it was used with paint. The use it serves on my wall is adding a pop of color to a whole wall. It brings out the life of the wall because of the colors used in this painting. I personally see it as beauty because the scenery reminds me of Colorado which I think is beautiful
3.  Writing a self portrait
The baggage I bring along with me when I look at art, are the memories that go with the art. I am a very visual person so when I look at something, I instantly start thinking and remembering memories from my childhood that relate to when I am looking at. I am 21 and am loving this age and stage of life. I am a woman and I am proud of it. I am Russian, grew up with Russian speaking parents and grandparents so that was the first language I learned. I am originally from Chicago, Illinois but moved to Florida a few years ago and have been living here ever since. I don’t have too much time to just have fun but I love to play pickleball with my friends. It has been so much fun to be active with my closest friends. As well as playing pickleball, I love to go to the beach and spend time out in the sun. I am very involved in my church playing piano every Sunday and going to bible studies throughout the week. It’s an honor learning about the bible with other fellow believers! I work as a nanny for a family I met when I first moved. I watch 4 little kids that I absolutely love! I am also a substitute teacher at a school that is part of my church. I enjoy that job as well. Something that makes me unique is that I am a very down to earth person and am down for anything anytime. My personality is different from everyone’s, I love to be outgoing but can also just be chill and relaxed when I want to.
4.  Art project (Self Portrait)
Tumblr media
All of these pictures describe who I am as a person. The sum this all up, I will talk about the different photos in this collage! I am very musical, i enjoy playing the guitar which is pictured here as well and playing the piano. There are many photos here of me outside because i love the outdoor! At the bottom is a picture of my friend group and I catching a shark! This was a great experience that does not happen everyday. I love to be active and workout as well and go ice skating. I used to play hockey back in Illinois and I loved it. The bottom middle picture is me helping out with media at a church conference. I enjoy baking which explains the photo of the decorated christmas cookies! I would also say I love energy drink. The top middle photo is my brother and I drinking celsius; we really enjoy them! I also enjoy going to the shooting range when I have free time.

The Gates by Christo and Jeanne-Claude
Some facts about my artists Christo and Jeanne-Claude:
Christo was born in Bulgaria, and frequently moved to different countries, first being to Czechoslovakia, then Austria, then Switzerland, then finally France.
Christo began taking art lessons as early as six years old.
Jeanne-Claude received education in Morocco, France, Switzerland, and Tunisia while initially training to become a stewardess of Air France.
Christo studied art in Sofia under the doctrine of Socialist Realism, which distanced him from western art from 1953-1956.
Some of their art was done illegally, such as "Wall of Oil Barrels", which never received full permission of being erected.
Initially when I looked at this art, I only saw it as just a structure made to shield people from the sun. However after studying it more, I almost feel a sense of shelter. I feel as if walking under them would provide at least a tiny bit of shelter from the elements as people go on with their day. The way I think about art did change when I looked at this, because it made me realize even something like this could be considered one of the greatest works of art and could be studied just like the oil paintings from centuries ago. Looking at the art now, I feel like The Gates represent shelter in my eyes, but also freedom as they freely flow in the wind, changing position to however the wind blows.

The Gates, Christo and Jeanne-Claude, 2005
Using 7,503 fabric panels in varying widths, the couple lined 23 miles of walkways in Central Park for 16 days. Referencing both Japanese torii (Shinto structures that mark transitions into sacred spaces) and Central Park’s famous entrances (named “gates” by the park’s original designers), Christo and Jeanne-Claude’s brightly colored gates stood in stark contrast to the leafless, snowy park. In keeping with their belief in the urgency of temporary work, the duo ensured The Gates were quickly de-installed and all materials recycled.

My name is Kelly and and a little known fact about me is that I have been swimming for 6 years with breaks in between.
Tumblr media
Christo and Jeanne-Claude 1979-2005 The Gates. Steel, vinyl, fabric; 7,503 gates 16’ tall, 23 miles.
When I first opened the document and saw this art, it took me a few seconds to figure out what I was looking at, but I instantly thought of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers creamsicle color, I am a Bucs fan.
5 interesting facts...
1. The color saffron was used in The Gates because they were supposed to make the pathway feel like warm shadows due to the golden hue they gave off.
2. These gates cost 21 million dollars to build.
3. They are located in Manhattan New York, and the contrast of them can be seen 52 miles north off New York City.
4. The color of the gates and fabrics matched exactly, and they covered 23 miles all together.
5. The creators of these gates funded all 23 million dollars by themselves by selling pieces related to these gates before building them.
The way I think about this art did change since the first time I looked at it, knowing the meaning behind it. When I first saw it, I was confused as to what it was exactly and what the purpose of them was. After doing research and reading different articles about them, I learned that they were created to represent a change, and renewal, and a difference in anything that had been done before. I feel that when most think about New York City, we tend to think about the tall skyscrapers and cars, not beautiful works of art out in nature, such as these. I now see the shadows these create and the warm golden ceiling they give off as you walk under them.
Tumblr media
The work of art I chose to share is my Shaquil Barrett jersey I have hanging in my room. The media used to create this jersey include polyester and a blend of polyester and elastane. The use of this jersey is to protect players while they are playing their sport and it is something fun for fans to wear to sporting events. I do think that this jersey is beautiful, the meaning behind the jersey and why I have it is what makes it meaningful to me. My dad suffered 4 strokes and became paralyzed on one side, however he works for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. When the organization found out about this they got both my favorite and my sisters favorite players to sign jerseys and gift them to us. To me that is very special that they did that for us because I think that professional athletes tend to have a stereotype of not being the best people all the time but after this i learned that is not true in any way. The reason behind why I have it is very upsetting but I am very thankful for it everyday.
I am 16 years old. I am a female and I identify as a female. I am from Pennsylvania but I moved here 4 years ago. I am white. For fun, I like to hang out with my friends and my boyfriend. I am a part of a few clubs at school including Junior Advisory Board and National Honors Society and I am a member of the swim team, also the captain. I am a lifeguard at the Manatee County Pools. Something that makes me uniquely me is that I have a very low attention span so my friends and family know when they are with me we always need to be doing something or I will get bored. I am also very responsible for most kids my age because I help with a lot due to the health restrictions of my dad.

1. My name is Kira. A little known fact about me is my love for creating. I've always enjoyed making something that was in my mind, body and soul into a work of art and reality.
2 . 1.) Christo attended the fine arts academy and Sofia, Bulgaria. He left to go study more broad and landed in Paris, where he began to exhibit his work. ( Britannic. Early life)
2.) while working as a portrait artist he meant Jeanne-Claude. They ended up marrying in 1959.( Britannic. Early life)
3.) In 2005 the couple worked on a project called "The Gates" located in Central Park New York this project was seen by more than 4 million people and visitors. ( Britannic. Early life)
4.) The gates were believed to be seen as a complex testament between the two controversial topics in contemporary art, these being; to create a meaningful public art and how art responds and impacts our relationship with it. ( Khan academy Christo Jeanna-Claude the gates).
5.) Jeanna- Claude had died November, 2009.Even so, Christo continued to carry out their projects until his passing May 31st 2020.( Britannic. Early life)
2. When I had first seen "The Gates" by Christo and Jeanna-Claude I believed it to be a ceremony or tradition somewhere. The picture looks like something out of a movie. It seemed so surreal. The way light highlights the trees in a way that makes them look painted. The pop of orange fabric and polls definitely caught my attention before anything else. I had seen people in the buildings in the background which brought life into this artwork of art. Now that I've looked at the gates a second time after researching I thought why?, where?, how?. Now, I look at this piece of art as a statement piece on how this couple displayed how to create such meaningful art for the public in an area they started building their careers together. Breaking the boundaries in the art community to see how responds and impacts our relationship with the built environment.
3. A piece of art in my home would have to be the 2 demon slayer hoodies that I have above my desk, I know you may say that they are not art, but to me they are. Neither one of them has been worn the reason behind that is because, to me they represent balance, as you can see one is black and one is white symbolizing yin and yang. They are both made of cotton and have pictures of an anime that me and my best friend loved to watch together, they serve as a symbol of balance. When I get in over my head, I believe they are beautiful because of what they symbolize to me the memories that they share that I now can share with you.

4. I am 21 years old, my name is Kira and I identify as female. I was born in Philadelphia, but raised in Florida, I am African American from my dad's side and Italian on my mom's side. I enjoy playing video games and making art when I have the time. I am not part of any organized group, but I do work at a little family owned bagel shop. I would say something that makes me uniquely me is the way I love. Strange question, because just being me makes me uniquely me, but I am also very spiritual.

WEBLOG 3:
Land art has been a source of inspiration for many artists and environmentalists alike. One of the most influential pieces for me is Robert Smithson's "Spiral Jetty," created in 1970. The piece is a massive spiral made of rocks and earth that extends into the Great Salt Lake in Utah. It's a powerful work of art that interacts with its natural surroundings and creates a new experience for viewers. It shows the power of nature and how human intervention can be used to create something beautiful and thought-provoking.
Another piece that has influenced me is Andy Goldsworthy's "Roof," created in 2004. The piece is a sculpture made of hundreds of pieces of slate that form a jagged roof-like structure. It's a reminder of the importance of sustainable living and the need to use natural materials in creative ways. The piece is an example of how art can be used to raise awareness of environmental issues and promote change.
Lastly, Christo and Jeanne-Claude's "The Gates" created in 2005, in which they installed thousands of bright orange gates throughout Central Park in New York City. The project transformed the park into an immersive work of art, encouraging visitors to interact with the environment in new ways. It's a reminder of the beauty of nature and the importance of preserving our green spaces.
Overall, these pieces have influenced me because they demonstrate the power of art to change our perception of the environment and inspire us to take action to protect it, which is the same message we tried to give in our piece of land art.

Histoire et origines de Land-art
Tumblr media
WRITING AND RESEARCH
The picture was taken in Central Park, New York City.
The entire installation was completed with the blooming o9f 7,503 panels on February 12, 2005.
Christo and Jeanne-Claude got married in 1959.
The purpose of their works was to bring beauty and joy.
The orange gates in the picture encourage the visitors to explore the park, and take new paths through the park.
When I saw this picture for the first time, I immediately thought that I would like to visit the Gates in New York City. I like how in this picture there is the contrast between the cold weather and those warm orange panels, and this shows calm and joy together. Also, the flattering sheets give me a sense of freedom and peace. The way that I look at this image now did not change from the first time. After some research about the image and the authors, I can conclude that the authors’ purpose was to show freedom and happiness through these panels.

Virtual Sketchbook 1
Hi, my name is Riley and one fact about me is that I am a ballerina. I was enrolled in ballet at 3 and it just stuck. 14 years later I am now a professional ballerina.
5 Facts about Christo and Jeanne-Claude 1979-2005 The Gates. Steel, vinyl, fabric; 7,503 gates 16’ tall, 23 miles
It took thirty years after the original design of The Gates were conjured before they were actually implemented in Central Park.
There were 7,503 gates created in total and they stretched 23 miles.
Christo and Jeanne-Claude were considered environmental sculptors who were following the Arte Povera Italian movement.
The Gates were up for only 16 days during New York’s winter and at least four million people gathered in Central Park to see the sculptures.
Christo and Jeanne-Claude once placed 1,340 giant blue umbrellas in Japan’s Sato River Valley.
I actually feel pretty similar now, after learning more about the gates, to what my first reaction to them was. My initial reaction to the gates is that I thought they must be a way to bring some warmth and excitement into what some may view as an unlively time of the year. People who were maybe stressed about the holidays, or feel as though as the leaves have died so have they, were able to come to the park and bring a little color into their lives. The one difference I see in the art now is the presence of the artist. Learning about the way it was Christo and Jeanne-Claude’s life mission to bring colorful sculptures to dulled areas around the world ties in how powerful the gates must have been to the 4 million individuals who came to see them. I am quite envious of those were able to witness the dozens of creations Christo and Jeanne-Claude were able to organize.

My friend gave this piece to me as a birthday gift and it represents scenes from one of my favorite comfort films, Pride and Prejudice. The art was done with colored pencils and the detail in the piece is phenomenal. You can clearly see the individual strokes of each blade of grass, and the way the ruffles in her dress were shadowed. I placed this piece of art on the desk I use to get ready with every morning. It offers me a little bit of joy every time I look at it and I do truly think it is beautiful. I admire any piece of art that can take beautiful scenery, either shown in film or described in books, and recreate the way that scene makes you feel. This piece of art has proven to be very useful on the mornings where I feel less then great. Each time I look at it, it makes me happy no matter what so it can improve my day almost immediately.
Self profile:
I am 17 years old, and my pronouns are she/her. I was born and raised in Florida, and I am white. I’ve grown up in the outdoors and I love to go on walks or just sit outside and read. My best friend and I are also movie and TV junkies, and we have movie nights almost every Saturday. Some of my favorite films and shows are About Time, New Girl, Abbott Elementary, Heartstopper, The Hunger Games, anything Marvel, and a hundred more I am most likely forgetting. I am not a member of any organized group per say, but I am a professional ballerina. I work alongside the same individuals day in and day out to rehearse for upcoming shows and events. I have lived most of my life inside of a dance studio, and it is a large part of how I see the world. Though this might not be the most unique viewpoint to have, my main life goal is to help protect the environment in any way possible. Next year I will be starting on my Bachelor’s degree in sustainability and geoscience and I cannot wait.
