Please momma dire wolf Toto and liltle cheetah cub Max? I'm dying this is adorable!!
Okay, so they wandered into Christian's territory and Christian let them stay just because Maxy is adorable. And they have a little routine now. Momma Toto going to hunt for his baby cub and Christian just watching over Max and his territory.
And Max is just happy cause he can get snuggles and cuddles with both momma and the tiger. But then one day Toto comes back injured like really bad and Christian is torn between just leaving Toto there because, even if he started to get used to him, he only wanted to protect Max first. And the heartbreaking cries little Maxy let out seeing momma like that.
So he settles to help Toto, and take care of him. But that means thinking about a lot and a lot of things! Like should he let Max alone with a recovering Toto? Should he even take Max hunting with him and risking Max life and Toto's?
And while he is over thinking it, he end up settling into leaving Max with Toto. Making him promise to stay hidden in Toto's furr no matter what until Christian comes back.
Christian exploring the whole territory to find out who hurt the dire wolf, and also find out some food. Turns out it was a clan of hyenas.
He comes back and looks at Toto. He then decides to focus on having both Max and Toto healthy enough to fight back for his territory and in the worst case scenario flee somewhere else.
Max during the next four days is glued to his momma and to the tiger. He needs to have them both close. He can feel momma is hurting and he wants to be reassured that Christian will protect them.
Toto makes it in the end and when he look up he sees Christian fussing over Max and taking care of his cub. His heart swells and he try to move. Max immediately jump into his momma's fur and purr like a storm. So so loudly that Christian is surprised this little cub can do that.
Max is rambling about the period to Toto. Saying what happened and that Christian was really worried about Toto and really took care of them. Toto looks at Christian who just huff in annoyance. But deep down Christian is glad that Toto is okay. He is starting to get attached to the wolf and the little cub.
Oh plss! Christian staying with Maxy when Toto goes hunting and in exchange, Toto hunts for the tiger sometimes too. Christian often curls around the little cub in his tiger form when it's cold and rainy, but when the weather allows it, they can have msxy in his chubby toddler form just chonqing away and grinning at Christian with those chubby cheeks! Max likes it cos he gets cuddles and he doesn't have to be afraid anymore when momma leaves.
But then Toto comes back hurt and Christian is torn between judt taking the cub and leaving Toto, but then Max cries for momma and snuggles close to Toto and Christian knows they can't leave Toto behind. Christian making Max hide in Toto's fur whenever he has to go hunting now and hr even feeds Toto too, and tends to his wounds as best he can. Max always wants momma and Christian close, only truly calm when snuggled between them.
Toto getting stronger snd waking up to see his cub playing eith Christian and Christian grooming his lil cub and he is so relieved! And Max purrs up a storm when he sees momma is awake! All happy kitty purrs and then toddler giggles!
Toto thanking Cjristian in earnest when he hears from max that Christian protected then both! He is so grateful. And Christian huffs but is secretly relieved too!

Christopher Newport: 2022-23 NCAA Division III Men's Basketball Champions
FORT WAYNE, IN. - Christopher Newport University's first trip to the National Championship game will be remembered as a classic, as junior Trey Barber scored on a driving layup as time expired to give the Captains a 74-72 victory over Mount Union. CNU finished the year with a 30-3 record, and the remarkable victory in the title game was the 15th straight for the Captains.
Barber led four Christopher Newport players in double figures, scoring 25 points on ten-of-15 shooting. Barber also topped the team with ten rebounds, and was selected the Most Valuable Player of the Final Four. Junior Jahn Hines was also selected to the All-Tournament squad, scoring 18 points and pulling down six rebounds with four assists. Fifth-year senior Matthew Brodie and sophomore Caleb Furr also reached double digits, scoring 12 points in the title game.
"This is about our program and all the people who are a part of it, and have been a part of it in the past," Head Coach John Krikorian said during the post-game celebration. "We have a rich history and so many have contributed to it. I was thinking so much about our long-time coach C.J. Woollum, who hired me, and I heard from our program's first coach, Bev Vaughan, today. It was like they were both with us on our bench tonight. We had so many of our former players with us here tonight. I can't tell you how much this means."
The Captains found themselves behind for much of the game and had to mount yet another comeback to claim the championship. CNU trailed at halftime in nine games this season, and came from behind to win them all, including Saturday's Championship game. The Purple Raiders went on a 9-0 run in the opening minutes to take a 9-2 lead and then stretched their advantage to as many as 14 with 5:10 to play in the first half, 26-12. CNU used a 14-3 run to close out the half, and trailed by just three at the break, 29-26. The second half saw Mount Union push the lead to as many as ten, 45-35, with 13:55 to play.
Christopher Newport would then begin a stretch that saw them out-score the Raiders, 39-27, the rest of the way, culminating with Barber's buzzer-beater for the victory. CNU took its first lead of the second half when Barber knocked down a free throw with 8:38 remaining to put the Captains up, 50-49. CNU would extend the lead to as many as seven, 65-58, on a Barber layup with 3:58 to go. The Purple Raiders would not go away, and would briefly jump back in front, 70-69, with 17 seconds remaining on a layup from All-American Christian Parker. The Captains answered quickly when sophomore Ty Henderson scored on a fastbreak jumper in the lane, and was fouled in the process. His free throw to complete the three-point play gave Christopher Newport a 72-70 edge.
The final possession for each team resulted in a fantastic conclusion to the hard-fought battle. Mount Union tied the game with four seconds left on the clock when Parker scored on a jumper in the paint to even things at 72-72. But in the waning seconds after Mount Union had pulled even, Barber rumbled down the court and provided the spectacular finish by scoring on a driving layup to end the game.
"I really don't remember what happened," Barber admitted. "They had scored and I got the ball and saw the rim and went to it. It's an amazing feeling." Barber and Hines, who both had been named All-American earlier in the day by D3hoops.com, combined to score 43 points and pull down 16 rebounds.
The buzzer-beating shot by Braber to end the game was reviewed by the officiating crew to verify it had come before the horn sounded.
"Trey and Jahn were just amazing again," Krikorian continued. "But we had a lot of guys come through in big moments. Caleb Furr hit some really big threes for us, and Matt Brody was big in the second half. Our defense was key as it usually is, and we did just enough to win the game. I really feel for Mount Union, they're a great team and competed at such a high level all season."
Mount Union finished the year with the same record as the Captains, 30-3, and Saturday's battle was the first meeting ever of the programs. Parker, also named All-American Saturday by D3hoops.com, led the Purple Raiders with 31 points and 14 rebounds. The Captains out-rebounded the Raiders, 47-41, and committed just nine turnovers. In two games at Allen County War Memorial Coliseum, the Captains turned the ball over just 13 times.
"This is such a unique group of guys," Krikorian said. "They love to play the game and get after it. Most of the time, I tried to stay out of their way, and give them what they needed to succeed as best I could. They took what had happened in the past, like losing last year at Marietta in the Elite 8, and losing at Randolph-Macon this year and they learned from it and remembered it and used it to their advantage. Their hard work paid off and I'm so happy for them."

Christian Furr, Distinctly and women of Iron.
I had the pleasure of a private invite at the Williamson art Gallery in Liverpool. There were three spectacular exhibitions held, showcasing Christian Furr, Women of Iron who are a group of young women of Wirral Borough, documenting the female workforce working at Cammell Laird and British Antarctic survey in Birkenhead. As speaking as a woman, this was a delight in seeing women of today standing you for their masculinity, and proving that any woman can do a man's job.
Martin Parr, Chris Killip, Marketa Luskacova, John Myers, Tish Murtha, Daniel Medows, Ken Grant, Nail McDiamird, Robert Darch and Kirsty Mackey showcasing Britain in the last six decades in its distinct landscapes, industries, social and economic changes, cultural traditions, traits, and events. It was breathtaking to see how you connect right at home with these images, the fashion the time of the decades for me was like I was there.
I had the honor to meet Christain Furr who is known for being the youngest artist to have painted the Queen, age 28yrs at the time, I was really tickled to hear on the day of arrival he drove a red Minni to the gates of Buckingham Palace. Now, this guy is well over 6ft so you can imagine how that would have looked, for me this was badass. I had the chance to talk to him about all of his works as he has such a wide variety of styles which was so exciting to see in life, the painting was just so edible to want to touch, such a polite man and had time to talk and answer any of my questions. I felt very special afterward to been able to have that opportunity.
I also had the great pleasure in meeting Ken Grant, a man of my own heart, so humble to talk with, his work reminded me of ‘This is England’ created by Sean Meadows. It has that raw retro vibe going on through his work, it took me back to the days when raving first being and the poverty Maggie Thatcher had put our country under. Taken in Black and White it really captured the movement. He was very unlucky to have the first selfie with me, there was no getting away for me, we had such a giggle.
The Williamson Art Gallery purpose-built in December 1928, the Neo-Gorgegain venue is stunning to visit, hosting Albert Moore, Philip Steer, Liverpool Porcelain, Della Robbia Pottery, alongside with Victorian oil paintings Full of delights and colour and energy. High recommended to visit when In Birkenhead.

Living With an All-You-Can-Eat Mindset
Living With an All-You-Can-Eat Mindset
What happened to all those all-you-can-eat buffets like Furr’s, Ryan’s and Golden Corral? Those cafeteria-style restaurants were where we could indulge in every variety and choice of meats, veggies, salads, and desserts. The answer to my question came when I googled. Many all-you-can-eat chains found out that feasting customers ate their restaurants out of business. And, with so many who are…

Don’t put a tiara on my sculpture, late Queen told artist
Elizabeth II requested bronze bust without the usual decoration, because she wanted to appear ‘the same’ as her husband Prince Philip
Queen Elizabeth II asked a royal sculptor to depict her without her tiara so the bust would be “the same” as the Duke of Edinburgh’s alongside it, the artist has revealed ahead of a new exhibition. Frances Segelman, who was granted three sittings with the late Queen in 2007, said she asked the monarch if she would like a version of the bronze cast to sit alongside the one she had previously made of the Duke at Buckingham Palace. “She said that would be very, very nice,” recalled Ms Segelman. “But looking at the photograph I was showing her, she said: ‘I wouldn't want the tiara on next to the Duke of Edinburgh as he's got just a shirt and tie. So I wouldn't want my tiara on, I would want us to be the same.” It meant Ms Segelman had to make one version without the tiara, redoing the monarch’s hair.
The sculptor added: “I thought it was very lovely. She was so caring [and] obviously loved him very, very much. Those two are there in the palace together like that and all the others have the tiara. This is quite unusual.” Three of Ms Segelman’s sculptures depicting the monarch, the Duke of Edinburgh and King Charles feature in an exhibition called Majesty: A Tribute To The Queen, which opened at Quantus Gallery in Spitalfields, east London, on Wednesday. The exhibition unites three royal artists - Ms Segelman, Rob Munday, who created the first officially commissioned holographic portrait of Elizabeth II in 2004, and Christian Furr, who at 28 became the youngest artist commissioned to paint an official portrait of the sovereign in 1995.
Ms Segelman said the late Queen had been so chatty during her sittings that she struggled to concentrate on her work. “I really wasn't getting very far,” she said. “Normally, I don't let my sitters talk because I can't get it done otherwise. “I thought I'd try and find a way of having a bit of a gap so I said to her: ‘Your Majesty, I don't mind at all if you feel like you would like to have a rest or not talk to me. I'd be absolutely fine.’ “I had to pluck up so much courage, but she never took any notice, she still carried on!” The late Queen expressed a particular concern for the tourists milling around on the road outside Buckingham Palace before the layout was changed. She also chatted about the various visitors to the palace and a journey she was due to take by train. Ms Segelman, who has recently been commissioned to sculpt the Queen Consort, said one of the most nerve-wracking moments was having to measure Elizabeth II’s head with callipers - an intimate moment that involved touching her hair and her face. “It was terrible,” she said. “It was just a memory that I'll never ever ever lose. And you worry, because they’re pointed. “My intention at the beginning was to go back to my table and write down the measurements from the calliper. But every time I got back, I'd forgotten it or it had moved because my hands were shaking. “So I kept going backwards and forwards and in the end I decided, you know what, I'm not doing anymore of it because I've just got to relax and enjoy her.”
