Christain Louboutin is the infamous shoe designer renowned for the red sole, a unique and distinctive mark that defines an unparalleled level of beauty. His shoes are handcrafted with immense attention to detail to ensure preciseness and a grand finale worth noticing. However, the grand finale may not always guarantee complete comfort. So is it worth the 4-digit price?
I have tested a variety of…
Luxury comes at a price that everyone is unwilling to pay or probably does not understand.
Designer shoes can appeal more to a fashion lover’s heart than clothes and designer handbags. However, the right pair of shoes can make or break an outfit, so choosing them carefully is essential.
Factors Driving the Craze for Designer Footwear
As designer shoes are an investment, a few things matter to buyers, which can justify the craze for designer shoes.
If the designer footwear is a true classic, its value may rise over time.
For sentimental value, if the designer shoes are heirloom pieces purchased to pass them down to female relatives. (if you share the same shoe size with your daughter!)
Or the love for all things materialistic.
Influenced by a favorite character like Carrie Bradshaw’s iconic royal blue Manolo Blahnik pumps.
Quality is a second name to luxury. So, the fact that they are comfortable and will last a long time is a major selling point for high-priced footwear.
Footwear comes with a guarantee for maintenance if they are purchased from their brand outlets.
When inflation pushes the price of everything up, including designer shoes, it’s crucial to invest in classic styles that will last a lifetime.
List Of Shoes Worth Investing In
Instead of looking in awe at the outrageous prices women are willing to pay for a pair of Christian Louboutin or Jimmy Choo heels at Saks Fifth Avenue or Barneys New York, invest in timeless and chic pieces at the same time.
So, if you are taking the plunge, you want a pair that will look stylish for many years.
Coco Channel’s Iconic Ballet Pumps
The two-toned pumps are an eternal staple that pair well with dresses, denim, or the traditional white tee, blue jeans, and blazer outfit.
2. Jimmy Choo
Yet another classic owned and rocked by celebrities from Beyonce to Priyanka Chopra. You can rock it with a casual pair of jeans on a Friday or a cocktail dress for a fancy event. Enhance your look with a couple of Jimmy Choo Romy 85s or Love 65s.
3. Nike- Air Force
Any sneaker fan will recognize the Air Force name as a classic thanks to the brand’s legendary status in the sneaker community. The best part is that you can dress it up or down. Sneakers are a big sensation.
4. Christain Louboutins
The classic black pumps are one of the most iconic pairs of shoe women aspire to own as their first pair. When in doubt, this pair is ideal for any occasion, making it an obvious choice to pair with an LBD.
5. Valentino- Studded Heels
Add it to your priceless collection to elevate any modest dress while keeping your look elegant and ladylike.
6. Gucci Loafers
It is a staple when it comes to classic blazer suits. Stick to classic brown or black with horse-bit fur to complete your look.
Conclusion
Instead of giving in to irrational impulses when shopping for designer shoes, try to make each purchase count. Wait for optimal timing, such as Black Friday or Christmas sales, or when traveling abroad to Bicester village, to save a fortune on luxury items such as handbags and shoes.

I’m like an entire month late but I don’t even care. Almost all of the outfits worn were literally all fantastic and beautiful. I’m gonna do a completely unwarranted run-through of some of my favorite looks.
Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination
- Rihanna -
Maison Margiela by John Galliano
Okay. Look at that FUCKING BEADING. That is so intricate. Now, the theme of the ball is Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination, and that’s exactly what Rihanna is serving. Pope realness. I love her Christain Louboutin shoes - and I can always appreciate an ankle strap heel. Smokey eyes, super cute clutch, I am ready to get blessed, bitch.
- Winnie Harlow -
Tommy Hilfiger
Winnie Harlow looks so amazing. The crown is so beautiful. The dress is simple, very classy, and it just adds to that amazing headpiece. The silhouette of this look is absolutely s t u n n i n g. Winnie’s almost kind of giving me like bridal vibes. Anyone who says this look is boring or plain can throw some rounds with me.
- Katy Perry -
Versace
The wings. The wings. This is an absolutely beautiful piece by Versace. I have to be honest, I’m not particularly a fan of Katy’s, but this was a really great choice for the gala. Not only did she go along with the theme, but Donatella Versace was one of the co-chairs for the event. Well played. Her pixie cut works perfectly with those angel wings. It’s damn near seamless. I’m living for the glam chainmail look over the gold minidress - especially the sleeves. And of course, those shoes are an A+.
- Lily Collins -
Givenchy
This kind of futuristic chic nun ensemble is flawless. My favorite part has to be the shoulders of the dress. Makeup and nails match accordingly to the rest of her outfit. The rosary was a really creative and subtle touch. The headpiece is so beautiful, it’s a Clare Waight Keller crown. Supposedly, this look was inspired by the painting Our Lady of Sorrows. I love how elegantly this whole thing was put together, and it’s so appropriate for the theme of the event.
- Rosie Huntington-Whiteley -
Ralph Lauren
This dress is literally heavenly. It’s a beautiful Ralph Lauren dress, adorned with bejeweled roses and it’s perfect. The cape of the gown makes her look even more ethereal and angelic. Rosie’s wearing a twisted chignon halo, which has to be my favorite part of the entire look. It’s a simple piece, but it just brings the entire fit together in my opinion.
- Kate Bosworth -
Oscar de la Renta
Kate looks so angelic. Her white with a touch of gold ensemble is so breathtakingly gorgeous. I can and will always appreciate a beautiful veil like this one that she’s wearing - which did have slits for her arms. Apparently, Kate was also sort of reflecting her own bridal look and honestly if this was anything like what she wore to her own wedding, I’m sure she looked just as stunning then, too.
- SZA -
Atelier Versace
SZA completely stunned the red carpet. She killed it. Her headpiece was one of the most beautiful ones I’ve seen, solely because it’s like celestial. The halo headpiece, as well as her golden teardrops, are Chrishabana. The top half of her gown is like this bejeweled piece of artwork and it cascades down into a ruffly pink cloud of perfection. The silhouette of this whole look is gorgeous. Needless to say, SZA looks otherworldly.
- Priyanka Chopra -
Ralph Lauren
Priyanka is so fierce in this gown. The elaborate hood she wore was hand beaded with Swarovski crystals and gold beads - it allegedly took up to 250 hours to make! She wore a burgundy velvet dress and Cartier jewelry. This look has to be one of my top 3 favorites. Priyanka’s choice for the gala was perfect, and she looks so beautiful.
- Zendaya -
Atelier Versace
Omggg. Zendaya’s Joan of Arc custom gown has to be one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen. Law Roach (Zendaya’s stylist) said he first got the inspiration for this gown in a dream. Paired with this amazing armored dress, Tiffany & Co. jewelry and gold ankle strapped platform heels. I love everything about this Joan inspired get-up. Zen really went with something unique from everyone else, and I literally will not ever get over this dress.
- Stella Maxwell -
Moschino
Y’all are probably going to disagree with me, but I think this is a masterpiece. This column gown is covered with the painted faces of Madonna (Mary). The jewels and beads embroidered onto this gown really make it pop - almost creating a type of mosaic from the top to bottom. Stella paired this dress with subtle David Yurman jewelry and Casadei shoes. I think it’s lovely.
- Lana Del Rey, Jared Leto and Alessandro Michele -
Gucci
I’m 100% living for Lana’s gown. She still somehow managed to bring in her bohemian kind of style while looking like she straight up walked out of an Italian Renaissance painting. My favorite part of the dress itself has to be the golden heart with the seven daggers stabbed into it. Her winged halo headpiece is so gorgeous and so intricate. Literally as always, a 10/10 for Queen Lana.
I’m going to combine Jared and Alessandro together, solely because both of their attire look fairly similar to me and they both went for the “modern” Jesus type thing. Jared’s golden crown looks so heavenly, and I love it. You can tell how much time was put into creating it. I thought it was creative to have paired his ensemble with a priest’s stole. I would have liked to see just a little more from Alessandro’s crown, but that’s just me (Sorry!). Otherwise, his embroidered suit is absolutely lovely and I love that the three of them all matched.
- Nicki Minaj -
Oscar de la Renta
Nicki never fails to stun everyone with her powerful and fierce looks. She decided to go a different route from everyone else, and it turned out so good. This fit was put together to represent the Devil, as stated by Nicki herself. She wore Tiffany & Co. jewelry, and a beautiful black and red headdress. Her shoes were Le Silla ‘Gaga’ and were super cute. Nicki delivered, as usual.
- Blake Lively -
Versace
This. She looks so elegant and classy, yet so sexy. And I’m mad about it. This custom Versace number’s embroidered bodice alone took over 600 hours to make. And I’m pretty sure the skirt has mesh around her legs. Plus, she wore $2 million worth of jewelry to top it off - including diamond and ruby rings, golden bracelets, 30 carat diamond and emerald earrings, and a custom halo encrusted with 100 carats of champagne diamonds. Christian Louboutin heels, jaw-dropping attire, and my tears.
If you read all this, thanks and I’m sorry, lmao

Christain Louboutin X Gwyneth Paltrow Want to Adorn Your Baby’s Feet.
Just days after his collaboration with Indian Haute couture designer, Christain Louboutin would also be venturing into the baby market with Goop. Goop’s CEO Gwyneth Paltrow worked on a limited-edition capsule collection for the iconic footwear brand, including Louboutin’s first-ever children’s style: a pair of red-soled Mary Janes ( sorta gives me a sense of dejavu, is this a ‘bloody shoes’…
