Warriors Woes: Unveiling Fan Frustrations and Calls for Change
In TSDS 276, El Uno and TraB openly express their frustrations with the performance and decisions of the Warriors. They delve into their disappointment with the team’s acquisition of Chris Paul, as they believe the roster needed better scoring and size on the perimeter. While acknowledging Paul’s value, they argue that his effectiveness hinges on being paired with suitable teammates. They…

Thank you for joining me here! If you are familiar with Toutoune Gallery, you may have already visited the space at 998 Bathurst St, in Toronto, Canada. If you haven't had the chance yet, maybe you've come across the website www.toutounegallery.com or the instagram account @toutoune.gallery and have been a fan from afar!
Toutoune Gallery first opened to the public on October 8th, 2021! Wow! It's hard for me to believe it sometimes... Time flies as they say.
To introduce myself a bit, my name is Ginette Lapalme and I'm an artist who has been living and working in Toronto since 2005. I graduated from the Illustration program at OCAD in 2009 and have been active in the Toronto independent art scene ever since.
I have always made work in a variety of forms and mediums, including but not limited to: zines, comics, stickers, sculptures, arts & crafts, ceramics, animation, paintings and drawings... For a time I helped curate a portion of TCAF from 2009-2019 called the Woweezonk Browsery with my best friends Patrick Kyle and Chris Kuzma <3 and I also previously worked for Page & Panel TCAF Shop (2014-2017) and the Beguiling Comic Shop (2017-2021).
Toutoune Gallery is the culmination of my artistic career as well as my passions for collecting, all made possible by my experiences working in comic book retail, almost two decades of self-employment as a art-object maker as well as my time with the Toronto Comic and Arts Festival.
Anyway! All that to say thank you for joining me here. This blog will be a space for me to share some works and images from Toutoune on a more regular basis. I will still keep up with the shop's instagram account too but I needed a place where I could rant a bit more and not be so annoyed by the algorithm lol.
Washington Wizards have been the definition of mediocre for many, many years and the 22/23 season was no different. While not often being the absolute worst team in the NBA, they have not been able to put it all together to make a contending team.
Bradley Beal put in a shift as he has the last 10 years he’s been on the team, averaging over 23ppg while versatile centre Kristaps Porzingis produced the same output. The issue the Wizards ultimately had was lack of availability from their stars as well as rotational pieces that provided no spark for the team off the bench.
The Wizards finished the season with 35 wins and 47 losses.
At the conclusion of the season the Wizards have traded away both stars Beal and Porzingis meaning a huge rebuild is on the cards maybe for years to come for the team based out of Washington.

Received Jordan Poole from the Golden State Warriors for Chris Paul
On July 6th, 2023, the Golden State Warriors traded guard Jordan Poole, forward-center Patrick Baldwin Jr., guard Ryan Rollins, a 2027 second round draft pick and a 2030 first round draft pick to the Washington Wizards for guard Chris Paul.
Jordan Poole spoke to the media about the opportunity to expand his role in Washington and playing with Kyle Kuzma. He also dodged a question about the impact the Draymond Green incident had on the Warriors team.

Sometimes you don’t know what you are missing until it’s gone. That could be the situation with the LA Lakers and their former forward Kyle Kuzma. Per veteran NBA writer Chris Haynes of Bleacher Report, the Lakers have inquired about their former player, who plays for the Washington Wizards.
Kuzma is having a career year in Washington, averaging a career-high 21.3 points, 7.3 rebounds and 3.6…
