Just the way I’ll be planning on some more of it soon, but to be honest it would’ve been made as an standalone animated movie instead of making some choices between these two.

Obscure Animation Subject #170: Pinky Malinky

A show about the life of 12 year old Pinky Malinky, an anthropomorphic hot dog. Produced by Nickelodeon Animation Studio, the series lasted for 60 12-minute episodes from January 1 to July 17, 2019 on streaming service Netflix. As being produced by Nickelodeon it was originally gonna air on the Nickelodeon network, but plans for that fell through and the series was abruptly cancelled during production, but resumed when it was picked up by Netflix. The episodes are produced in a single production cycle but was released under 3 separate seasons.

Created by Chris Garbutt and Rikke Asbjoern, its pilot was produced by Cartoon Network Studios Europe in 2009, but CN didn’t pick the series up in favor of Gumball.

I don’t blame CN for not picking up, this show is just boring and annoying. The storylines aren’t interesting and the humor is just random for the sake of random which while sometimes funny, is mostly pure annoyance. The characters are also nothing special, but they aren’t terrible either.

The worst part about the series is how it likes to shake and move all of the time. You see, the series has a habit of capturing reality TV, which is actually not a bad concept, but in execution it causes headaches, and may sometimes hurt my eyes.

I know their’s people that like this show but it’s not for me. It has good jokes occasionally and the animation is decent, but its nothing worth while. If you want a show that alludes reality TV and like randomness, I do recommend it. But otherwise if not, you can give it a skip.

I’ve played this interactive experience from Netflix since it came out this year. Technically not a show that straight towards younger audiences and/or older ones we can enjoy.

Anyways, this interactive game of sorts featuring 🐶🐱two house pets; as they’re on the quest to find their pet owner. Though at the same time the human population of their world is gone.

It was not bad after watching this special, but the art style for these two main characters was like “Gumball” from CN. To the point of weird/wild situations they’re in, it always has to be something. Worth checking out if you’re interested.

If you're are craving for more serialized story-driven animation besides Moon Girl And Devil Dinosaur or with The Owl House coming to an end or Pibby, really recommend We Lost Our Human. 

Despite the looks it actually has betrayal,character growth,drama,tragic endings etc..
