Chopta Auli Rishikesh Tour Itinerary
Day 01: Delhi – Rishikesh (230Kms / 6Hrs). Meet at Delhi Airport/ Railway station/ Hotel & transfer to Rishikesh. Check in to your hotel at arrival in Rishikesh. Visit Tirveni Ghat for holy dip and evening Ganga Aarti. Return to your hotel. Enjoy dinner and overnight stay at Rishikesh.
Day 02: Rishikesh - Chopta (170 Kms / 7 - 8 Hrs). Morning after breakfast, drive for Chopta. In-route visit Devprayag and Ukhimath. Check in to the guest house at Arrival. Evening we will go for a short hike to stretch our leg muscles. Later enjoy bonfire. Dinner and Overnight stay in guest house.
Day 03: Chopta to Tungnath Chandrashila Trek and return (8 kms drive & 5 kms trek one way). Morning after breakfast, start your trek to Chnadrashila - Tungnath. Enjoy breathtaking views of himalayas. The climb is demanding but short and extremely scenic. It will take about a couple of hours to reach Tungnath temple. Religious or non-religious does not matter, just sit by yourself for a few minutes in the courtyard of the temple with eyes closed you will feel very light! After a brief stop for refreshments and rest carry on with your climb to reach the summit of Chandrashilla peak at about 4000m. The effort is going to be rewarded multiple times with views which are surely unparalleled. From the summit you can see big Himalayan peaks (Nanda Devi, Trishul, Chaukhamba and many more) and surrounding valleys in all directions. After capturing the views in your camera start walking down to the base camp at Chopta Later return to Chopta. Dinner and Overnight stay in guest house.
Day 04: Chopta - Joshimath Via Chamoli (150 Kms / 5 - 6). Morning after breakfast check out from hotel and drive for Joshimath . Check inn into hotel at arrival in Joshimath. Evening free for your leisure and pleasure. Dinner & overnight stay at Joshimath.
Day 05: Joshimath - Auli by Cable Car. Mornings have breakfast at hotel and later check out then take cable car for Auli from Joshimath. Check inn into hotel on arrival at Auli. Explore Auli Lake and Enjoy Snow Skiing. Stay overnight at Auli.

Nearest ATM is at Ukhimath that is about to 25 km from Chopta. At Present few of property owners allowing guest to do digital transaction but it is better to carry cash because it is difficult to find network most of time.
We highly suggest that while exploring Chopta on Google map please do mention the property name where you are going to stay (like - do mention Magpie Jungle Camp Chopta ) to get the location accuracy as there is one more Chopta village in the same region and often travellers get misguided because of the same.
Nearest market is Ukhimath, one can collect essentials on the way to Chopta if one is travelling via Rudraprayag.

Devariyatal: Devariya Tal (Also known as Deoria Tal) is an emerald lake perched at an elevation of 2400 mts above sea level located about 3 Km on an uphill trek from Village Sari. During early morning on a clear day, Devariya Tal blesses the tourists with reflections of Chaukhamba peaks on its crystal clear water. At Devariya Tal one can experience the best of two worlds, the first being the real world and the other one being the reflection of the beautiful surroundings on the lake.
