I had the opportunity to take part in a @nyrr initiative to highlight the diverse communities of NYC, in this case, Sunset Park. I was honored to be asked by Victoria @omgvics @chinatownrunners and NYRR to showcase the neighborhood through the perspective of running and relating my experience as someone who grew up in the neighborhood. If someone were to ask my 11 year old self if I ever thought I would be speaking about Sunset Park through the lens of running, I would have said, “Do I run?
