Oh i didnt realize a report went out but a tornado did go through the town. Only ef1 which is 'moderate' but it did clock 110mph winds(similar to a catagory 2 hurricane)...which if ur driving around town u can definately tell but when i was lookin outside during the storm i had no idea haha.

Ppl said they did see trees twisting due to the winds. I didnt see anything fall bc it was pouring and dark but i did see trees bending during...i drove around today and i dont think ive ever seen this many sturdy looking trees ripped from the ground..wild

At least now theyre getting to the trees in the road..theres one like every other block

After driving around last night it seems that a lot of the Chicago suburbs are without power, to the point where those of us who still Have power have no internet, and they can't restore the internet until there's power 🥴 those tornadoes really kicked our shit in

Also driving through powerless town after powerless town at 11 at night without so much as a functional traffic light is creepy as Fuck
