Best photo: Li Hao Ting
So what I got from this shoot is that it’s for a happy-go-lucky, gleeful magazine page. Since I couldn’t find any real life examples of photoshoots for OK Girl! online so I’ve garnered up my interpretation of it. Right off the bat, Li Hao Ting fulfilled that exact brief to a T. He is flashing his pearly whites with endearment and sincerity. I don’t for a second question it. The chemistry with his co-star is very much lovable, the most natural and down-to-earth. There’s this dash of swag in the way he has his arm around her shoulder as well as the other hand in his pocket. His eye contact is sweet and charming and he looks very comfortable and balanced. I’m extremely happy he was able to pull this off the best this week!

Runner-up: Li Xue
Li Xue resembles a straight-up doll in this photo and it’s one of the most picturesque this week. Li Xue has been on a roll lately and this shot is another example of that. It may not be the most happy go lucky photo of the bunch but she did enough to sell the standard modelesque-ness. In other words, the shot is good for what it set out to be. She effortlessly sold the outfit and jewellery and although she isn’t grinning, she still seems demure, endearing and communicative toward the camera and co-star.

3rd: Wang Ren Chuan
I’ve said in since the beginning that this man is truly photogenic as heck. The camera loves him. But I’ve ranked it to 3rd because there are times when this stoney-faced expression may do him a disservice of a photo. It’s been a reoccurrence in past photos. Although his features are damn near angelic, the expression truly counts which he lacks here. He doesn’t seem personable, carefree or sweet. He looks a little pissed off if I’m honest. A warm smile would’ve been an improvement. But on the upside, the positioning of his body is just perfect! Every angle is rightly hit and there are no awkward point at all. Actually, scratch the ‘no awkward points’ part. A little nitpick I have is his fingertips that are half-heartedly around the pole. Why couldn’t he just actually grab hold of it? It’s one of those things that weighs the shot down, but not too much.

4th: Li Si Jia
Li Si Jia has been a front runner numerous times. Unfortunately not for this week. Everyone has their imperfections and I’ll say that her teeth aren’t her best asset. But simultaneously, I feel like her smile just doesn’t seem sincere. Like she’s forcing it and with that alone, she doesn’t do the shot justice. In addition, I think the pose is too ott. Something more on the simple side would’ve worked better for this shoot in my opinion.

Eliminated: Liu Xian Xia
Stiff and uncertain pose, unflattering facial expression and no chemistry whatsoever with the co-star.
