Officials acknowledged unresolved questions Tuesday about a 16-year-old Oklahoma student who died one day after a fight in a high school bathroom.

The Feb. 7 fight happened at the Owasso High School West Campus, northeast of Tulsa, police and school officials said.

Chuck Hoskin Jr., principal chief of the Cherokee Nation, identified the teen Tuesday as Nex Benedict.

Nex was not a citizen of the nation but lived on the Cherokee reservation, Hoskin said in a statement. He said he had asked local authorities to assist the Owasso Police Department in its investigation of Nex’s death.

“The facts relating to Nex’s death are not yet fully clear,” Hoskin said, adding: “The more we learn about Nex’s life, the more we come to know a wonderful child whose experience and identity mattered and was worth celebrating. Above all, Nex deserved to live a full life.”

“It was cut tragically short,” he said. “May Nex rest in peace.”

Nex’s mother told the Independent that the 16-year-old had been bullied at school over their gender identity. Efforts by NBC News to reach Nex’s family were unsuccessful.

It’s unclear if the alleged bullying was linked to Nex’s Feb. 8 death. The student’s cause of death has not been made public, and the Owasso Police Department said Tuesday that it was unclear if the fight was related to the death. An investigation into the matter is ongoing, the department said.

The Oklahoma Medical Examiner’s Office did not provide additional details Tuesday.

In a statement Tuesday, Owasso Public Schools said that “speculation and misinformation” about the case had intensified in recent days over the “district’s commitment to student safety & security.”

“We understand the importance of ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for all students and know that the information below doesn’t change the facts that a fight occurred on school grounds and a student passed away the next day,” the statement said.

School district officials said the students involved in the fight were in the restroom for less than two minutes and the altercation was broken up by other students, along with a staff member who was supervising outside the bathroom.

All of the students “walked under their own power” to the nurse and assistant principal’s office after the fight, and administrators took statements and contacted their parents, according to the district.

The students were also given a health assessment by a district registered nurse, per protocol, school officials said.

“Out of an abundance of caution,” the parent of one student was advised to take their child to a medical facility for further evaluation, the district said in its statement.

Police were called to Bailey Medical Center by a parent who wanted to report that the student had been in a fight, according to the police statement. A school resource officer also responded to the hospital.

The teen was pronounced dead the next day, the police department said.

Sue Benedict, who identified herself as the student’s mother to KJRH, told the station that her child was a straight-A student who loved animals and enjoyed cooking.

The district said the death was “devastating.”

“We recognize the impact that this event has had on the entire school community, and it is our priority to foster an environment where everyone feels heard, supported, and safe,” district officials said.

Unit Chief Reyna Avila Ramirez Arellano, the youngest unit chief in the bureau. Strong, supportive leader. Knew Jason when she was younger, but they hadn’t seen each other in years by the time Jason joined the team. When on the job, doesn’t let that history get in the way. Her early life helped shape her aspirations. Speaks Spanish, and always scores perfectly at the range.

Tech Analyst Leo Valdez, the sarcastic computer genius. When he gets bored, he dismantles and rebuilds some of his equipment. His mom died in an intentionally set fire when he was younger, and that motivated him to join the FBI and help catch people like the man who killed his mom. Speaks Spanish and likes to try and make Reyna crack a smile with his dumb jokes.

SSA Annabeth Chase, the resident book genius of team. Between her many hyperfixations growing up, she has a lot of seemingly random facts that tend to come in handy. Her time as a runaway when she was young led her to see and hear things, and to want to help children. Cases with kids always hit her harder than outsiders expect them to. Knows some Greek, and loves architecture.

SSA Hazel Levesque, a kind person who doesn’t let anyone walk over her. She grew up looking after her mom, and riding horses with her best friend. Not big on technology, and quick on her feet. Grew up in New Orleans, and speaks Louisianan French. She’s the best cook of the group, and invites the team over for dinner whenever she can. Inherited money from the father she never met, but donates most to charities.

SSA Jason Grace, a guy who has a lot of questions and not always enough answers. Grew up in a foster home, where he first met Reyna. Lost touch with her after three years of friendship when she moved in with her sister. Doesn’t know much about his family, and on his off hours, tries to piece together his history. Knows some words in Latin from a history project in high school.

SSA Piper McLean, daughter of an actor, who has a lot of connections. She’s never let the fame get to her, but she’s also used to nice things. She likes making a name for herself and her skills, not who she’s related to. Tries to keep her personal and work life separate, but she still gets recognized because of her father. Local law enforcement can underestimate her, but she always proves them wrong. Knows some Cherokee and loves Native American stories and myths.

SSA Frank Zhang, whose mom died when he was younger, and who was raised by his grandmother. Speaks Chinese and French Canadian. Very knowledgeable about animals and weapons, even though he hates having to use excessive force in any form. He, Piper, and Hazel are the best bet to talk an unsub down. He’s not a huge fan of the political part of the job, more focused on helping people.

Other Characters:

Percy Jackson, co-owner of a bakery. Teenage runaway and seen as a “problem child” whose life fell apart when his mom died and he had to live with his step father. Learned to rebuild his life with the help of his friends and wears his scars like armor. Fiercely protective over his chosen family, intense RBF with a heart of gold. Lives above the bakery with Silena, his honorary sister.

Silena Beauregard, co-owner of the bakery. One year older than Percy. Her mom left when she was six, and her father did his best. She has two younger siblings she doesn’t see as much as she wants to. Ran away from home, tired of everyone seeing her as “the poor girl whose mom left.” Her siblings (twins) had each other, and she felt alone. She had memories of their mom. They didn’t.

Thalia Grace, teenage runaway who met up with Luke and Annabeth. Annabeth eventually went home, but Thalia and Luke didn’t. They eventually met Percy and Silena. Thalia was in an accident as a teenager, and has been at the hospital since. She lost her memories of her personal life, but her hospital bills are paid by a prominent NY lawyer known for having affairs.

Will Solace, second generation doctor. More than acquaintance, not quite friend, of Percy and Silena. Thalia’s doctor. Kind hearted. Tries to follow the rules, but will break them if it’s the better choice. His need to help people can override his logical thinking sometimes.

Luke Castellan, child run away. Made his way across country from California to New York. Picked up strays, knowing what it was like and wanting to take them away from the bad. Tries to find a path to make a real difference. Falls apart emotionally after learning his mom died, after Thalia gets hurt. Wishes he could redo some of his past choices.

Nico di Angelo, lives/d with his big sister for most of his life. Their mom was murdered when they were 16 and 18. They’ve stuck together, relying on each other. But tragedy seems to follow them.

Kayla Knowles, medical examiner assisting local law enforcement, and then the BAU, on the case. Close friends with Will.

Rachel Elizabeth Dare, Percy’s best friend from after. After remaking his life. Artist who provided artwork for the bakery, and offers her place up to Silena and Percy when needed. From a rich family, but down to earth. Big on nature.

Grover Underwood, Percy’s best friend from before, when he was a kid and still had his mom. Reconnected with Percy a couple years after Percy ran away. Encouraged him to peruse his dreams. Gets along with Silena and Rachel, lives with his girlfriend juniper nearby and works for a non-profit.

Updated a few of my characters’ pictures last night when I was having an ADHD moment while playing WoW. 

So...

Daryl “Mason” Knox - This version of Daryl is part of our Zombie storyline (the premise of which I barely remember) and currently in the mountains above Colorado. He is a survivalist already, tanner, taxidermist and wicked good shot and when the virus began circulating, he packed up his pickup truck and headed as far into the mountains as he could. He had been in Tennessee for a little while but left there when the area started to fall as well, moving around a lot for a while before settling high in the mountains where it’s coldest, realizing the undead have a hard time moving through the snow and it seems to make their bodies more brittle. He stumbles upon Ryki and Kristy’s group (shortly after they get Mikael back from the roaming motorcycle gang (see Widower/Simon). Daryl was under the assumption that most of his family had died when the virus first took hold and started using his middle name, Mason, instead of his last name. 

Daryl Knox - Daryl is the survivalist of the Knox men, the youngest but the one who has his fingers the most in the various family businesses and also the one who discovers that a good portion of the Knox family land that backs the Blue Ridge Mountain range actually belonged to the Cherokee tribe and gives it back to them, only asking if they can continue to use the land as the hunting area he currently has it set up as. Daryl and his brothers also took a portion of the money made from the Knox Lodge (a small series of cabins built closest to the Chattahoochee National Park people can rent and go fishing and hunting for deer, quail and even armadillos) and give it back to the slave families that their great great grandfather had working for them. Daryl is quieter than the rest of his brothers, sticking to living away from nearly everyone and only coming down from the mountains when he is dropping off supplies at the Knox Family General Store in Jasper, Georgia where the family is primarily from. The general store is very rustic looking, with the old fashioned candy jars behind the counter and a small restaurant in the back where the family sells their homemade pies. (They also sell locally made and sourced jellies and jams, as well as jerky and unique gifts. Think trading post for the interior) A skilled taxidermist, Daryl has a special he runs through the Lodge that if you shoot it, he’ll stuff it (for a fee of course). 

Schyler Lewis - A former Scorpion and currently a Slayer in Los Angeles, Schyler is quiet but loving and loyal. He’s also one hell of a shot with pretty much anything, though he prefers knives over everything. He has a deep respect for RJ Jamison, as well as the former leader, BP and keeps a protective/big brother kind of watch on Queenie. He and Simon are pretty good friends, he often tries to keep an eye on the older man to keep him from going crazy.

Trevor Phillips (nothing changed, just both versions of him are going to use the same picture)

Simon Knox - Simon is the middle Knox brother, only a few years older than Daryl though he’s not particularly close to most of his family anymore. He and Jericho had once been vying for the same girl’s attention, but when he was sent to prison for a bar fight/blackout he missed the chance to be with her, even though he does very much still love her. When Simon was released from prison, Jericho gave him the chance to come home and get back on his feet again (the courts and mental health professionals released him on account of him having absolutely no memory of the bar fight other than some kid pushing him too hard and spitting on him. His anger flared up and he didn’t remember anything that had happened after that point. It wasn’t until an officer hit him on the back of the head did he come around again) and while he’s there, he and Maggie ended up in bed together after he told her what had happened. He had a ring and had been going out with a few friends the night before coming to see her. He is actually Ryder’s father, and Jericho does know. Following Ryder’s first outburst and slamming his head into the wall, tearing a stuffed animal and general unprovoked rage, Jericho had come to bed with a few scratches on his arms and gently kissed Maggie’s forehead, not coming right out and saying anything about the possibility but just telling her that whatever thing that’s weighing on her heart right now, it’s okay and he forgives her.  (Ryder has similar violent outbursts like his father, though recognizing it as was what going on with Simon, Jericho instead got his son therapy to deal with the outbursts as well as getting him involved in boxing.)

Following Ryder’s birth (and Simon getting to hold his son), Simon leaves and joins the Outlaw motorcycle gang though moves around a lot after that, winding up “settling” with Haven for a while before finally establishing a place with the Scorpions. He made quick friends with Schyler, despite a several year age gap, and when the Scorpions were assimilated into the Slayers in LA, he stayed on with them. He is prone to blackouts and violent outbursts and unfortunately does not possess much in the way of empathy toward nearly anyone. He does very much like children, and wouldn’t mind finally getting to have a family of his own. He is pansexual and it doesn’t seem to matter to him who he’s with, as long as they’re over a certain age. He’s not overly thrilled with the relationship RJ has with Jamie but she’s safe and not in any danger so he doesn’t say much about it either way. He and Floki of the Vikings have rolled around a few times, but generally speaking he is still very much in love with Maggie. Part of the reason he stays away from his family is because of how Jericho has been treating his “dying” wife. (Jericho is having an affair with a younger nurse/friend of his daughter Lorelei, while his wife is presumed to be dying from stage 4 cancer. She does make a rather miraculous recovery though, leaving him and going out to the man who has always loved her) 

Simon has some seriously reckless traits and has actually had to be sedated by members of his own gang because his anger will flare up and he goes berserk. He has NO control over his actions whenever he blacks out either. Following BP and his wife’s untimely death, Simon is taken by the Slayers along with several others and thrown into the Pit, basically an abandoned warehouse near the docks that has been hollowed out and made into a fight arena. Because of his anger issues there’s a few that believe he could have been pushed to a breaking point and lashed out, though BP never pushed his buttons and he has no desire to take the gang over. When Rollo and a handful of the Vikings reveal themselves as the masterminds (and hired by Marcone to do the deed), Simon is the one who takes an axe off of Floki’s hip, throwing it into the back of Rollo’s head before kneeling down in front of Queenie and telling her he’s always been loyal to BP and subsequently, to her.

Widower (Simon Knox) - This version of Simon is for our zombie alt world and currently in Tennessee with the Savior gang run by a Negan type. In this world, Simon was able to remarry Maggie and the two of them were living quiet happily, considering starting their family when her cancer makes a return and is incredible aggressive. As the virus starts to spread through Atlanta and they begin seeing how it eats away at the host’s body only to reanimate them, Maggie begs Simon to shoot her so she doesn’t have to suffer through her cancer and the possibility of getting the virus. At first he refuses to do it but after the hospitals shut down due to too many people contracting the virus, he takes her up to one his brother’s hunting cabins and shoots her, burying her in the backyard. He had attempted to shoot himself as well but the gun jammed and he ended up throwing it into the river instead. After Atlanta falls and the zombie virus appears to be spreading through the small towns, taking the Knox family out as far as he can tell. He and Daryl were traveling together for a little while but were separated and Simon lost track of his little brother. Assuming that his family is dead (since there’s no trace of any of them and the communications network was the first thing to go down) he gets on the back of his motorcycle and leaves. He first meets Morgan (Negan) and his group, Haven, when they stumble upon one another trying to refuel and get supplies. Simon is unhinged and no longer even trying to hide his homicidal side, since no one is there to hold him back any longer he’s completely off his rocker. He initially told Morgan and the rest to call him Widower, as he didn’t even want to link himself to the man he used to be. If the virus is ever contained, he isn’t sure there’s going to be much of a world left for him. 

Widower, Morgan and I think there’s an NPC version of Schyler with them as well find 5 yr old Mikael after the little boy panicked and ran from his aunt and uncle’s convoy during one of the zombie attacks. Morgan grabbed the boy as he was crying by the back of his jacket and puts him onto his motorcycle leading Kristy and Ryki and their group to give chase to get him back. Morgan had a son once and may have done this in order to protect him, not initially seeing the small group of survivors on the road. Widower takes over kind of protecting the little boy when their group stops at an old warehouse they use as a base. 

Morgan Caldwell - I haven’t actually decided if I’m going to make Morgan but he is Sam Caldwell’s older brother and Martin & Lynn’s uncle. He is the leader of the Haven motorcycle gang which moves around a lot and Simon was part of for a while. He is incredibly disappointed in how his little brother acts and very much wants to meet his estranged niece and nephew. 

Morgan “Negan” Caldwell - The zombie-verse version of Morgan, I know little about the man other than Widower is his right hand man and fiercely loyal to him. He genuinely seems to be concerned for Mikael and after meeting Kristy and finding out she’s pregnant while going through the virus, he may offer their services to them, as protection (or he may try to keep Kristy with him and his group masking using the air of wanting to protect her until she gives birth) There’s a lot of ways this guy can go. He isn’t particularly trustworthy, and has said one thing only to do the direct opposite of that less than a few minutes later. 

Kevin Reynolds - the oldest Reynolds brother and also the only one that’s biological to the Reynolds family. Kevin was 10 when Matt was adopted and 12 when Vartan came to live with them as well. The family typically fosters children, and seeks to give them a better life than the one they had. Kevin is currently in his later 40s, and lives in Chicago where he owns an old-fashioned record store (with actual records on the upstairs level) called Empire Records, or just The Empire by his teen/20-something staff. Kevin is gay and actually just lost his husband Jimmy to AIDS. Jimmy was the drummer for his brothers’ band Silex, and actually younger than Kevin was as well. He is currently having issues with depression following the loss of the only love in his life (up til now, obviously), though he actually has clinical depression as well. He and Matt absolutely cannot stand one another, mostly due to Matt’s homophobia, though Kevin has always been out so he’s not sure exactly where that stems from. He and Vartan are close, despite the 12 year age gap. Empire Records is a somewhat failing business, though is eventually brought under the wing of Revolver Records for its vintage, throwback to the late 80s/90s music scene and often becomes the site of the Revolver bands’ signings, which boosts their sales quite a bit too. 

Ryder Knox is getting a new picture, I just need to figure out who he actually looks like, taking his dad into a bit more consideration right now. The Knox men also all have a very distinct smile, so gotta find someone that fits. I’m stuck between these two: 

Ryder is 22 years old and lives in an apartment on his own which he pays for by an OnlyFans account. With close to 1000 subscribers, he makes money selling pictures of anything from his feet to being shirtless (sometimes in his underwear) on parts of the Knox farmland. Kyle:

Kyle is at the end of senior year. Kyle is one of the best students. He has aced every test and got accepted into a Ivy League college. One problem: Kyle doesn't know what he wants to be. All of his friends now what career they want, Kyle doesn't. This stresses him out.

In Highschool ( your grade choice), Kyle gets into a fight with Cartman after Cartman made some anti semitic comments. ( Well it was more likely Kyle beating the shit out of Cartman) So both Kyle and Cartman get suspended for a little while. Kyle feels terribly wronged. He reflects on how much Cartman controls his life and how he also feels like no one understands him. ( this ain't kyman thing alright)

Kyle helps out at a children's hospital. He semi befriends one kid named Jamie. Jamie has cancer ( the type is up to yours). Jamie tells Kyle all the hope and dreams he has, alot of them remind Kyle of his own. Kyle tries his hardest to fulfill some of Jamie's dreams. Eventually Jamie dies and Kyle is devastated.

Kyle is conflicted. His dad. The person he used to look up to. Defends a person who has done something morally very wrong. ( it's up to you want you want to use). Geralds defends his stance by he is a lawyer so it is his job. Kyle can't help but see his dad in different eyes. He always thought he only fights for thr good people.

Stan:

Gets in an accident ( your choice). The main point is. He is in pain. He could have stronger pain killers like: oxycodone, fentantyl. But he gets by on paracetamol and ibuprofen. He refuses to take any opioids because he's is very paranoid he get addicted to it. He is very stubborn and just takes the lighter stuff.

Middle school. Stan watches some documentary about Whale and dolphin captivity. Stan gets really aggravated about Whale and Dolphin captivity. He gets pissed at his parents for never telling him and blatantly taking him to Denver Aquarium. He goes on to protest against it and tries to free them. During that time he always grows to be more fond of the animals

In Highschool Stan gets alot of comments from adults that he looks like his dad when he was younger. Mortfied by this, because he doesn't want be compared to his father, he goes in a hair salon to dye his hair blonde. ( it gets orange). He is so fixated on changing him to look different than his dad. ( no surgeries). until someone points out to him that it only matters how he is different inside from his dad.

Cartman

Cartman got beaten up by Kyle again. Cartmam notices that his wounds heal very slowly. He also feels a lot more tired and uses the bathroom more than usual. Worried Liane eventually manages to force her morbidly obese teenager to go visit a doctor. There he gets diagnosed with diabetes type 2 . Cartman ( because he is a dumbass) blames Kyle for infecting him. ( in Cherokee hair Tampon it says Kyle has diabetes. likely type 1). Besides Scott Malkinson tries to help him with it which gets Cartman really pissed.

In Highschool Cartman feels more and more the loss of his father. He feels like there is a missing piece. He eventually breaks into Scott Tenormans house to steal some information. Scott finds him. Scott also tells Cartman he does not deserve knowing anything about his dad.

( warning: this probably ain't true. and I'm exaggerating.) But.. Cartman hears about a show on TLC called " my life with 600 pounds", he hears people get paid 100'000 dollars. Excited Cartman decided to gain more weight to appear on the show.

Kenny

Kenny gets in a relationship. Due his parents overall neglect he has issues opening up emotionally.

Kenny is in senior year. He has been working hard at two jobs since freshman year to afford himself into a community college. But since Kenny is only a minor. His dad somehow manages to take a hold on all that money legally and spend it on drugs and alcohol. Kenny is severely pissed off.

During Highschool Kenny struggles with his grades. He feels a little envy towards his friends Stan and Kyle, whose family are rich ( in his eyes) and both get good grades. Kenny overall on the outside id a chill and proud person. He doesn't want anyone to pity him ever. He still hates the fact that he can't have as many extracurricular activities as them, can't go to school trips. He asks himself if his life overall is just cursed. ( god this is corny)

Carol had used to know this guy in high school named Levi. Levi had got his girlfriend pregnant when he was sixteen, then he dropped out of school to fix cars and he worked at the animal shelter and one of the dairies in town. Sometime around when he turned eighteen, Carol heard that his girlfriend left him and took the baby and moved in with her stepfather up in Tennessee. So Levi enlisted in the Army, got on a plane to San Diego, and the second night he was there, he OD’ed in a double-wide trailer somewhere in a city called Oceanside. He did not even make it to the first day of basic training. He had been so quiet in his suffering, thought Carol, that nobody had even known about the pills. Nobody in their whole shit town. Not his family, not his friends or his girlfriend. They were all talking about it. What had happened to Levi? It was a complete mystery. His parents did not have the money for a funeral. Carol brought flowers to his simple grave.

After Terminus, Carol learned that Daryl was just gone. Nobody had seen him after the prison. Nobody had been with him. There was no trace. Carol had wanted to see him, hear his voice. She had convinced herself he could not die, that he was invincible. Rick’s eyes had got big and wet like they might pop out his head when he said to her at the church, “We have to operate as if he ain’t coming back.” That was what he said. She didn’t blame him. How could she? “We have to assume that he’s gone.” He would not say dead. Rick loved Daryl, too. He would not say dead.

She even tells Kyle, a child who was deathly ill at the time, to not go to a hospital and says that she needs to be the one to treat him. Miss Information is willing to basically make money off the death of a child by bleeding his family dry of every last dollar they have.

And when her lies are finally exposed. All she does is try to save herself from getting beat up by the numerous customers she scammed over the years. She doesn’t try to apologize or make amends or own up to her actions.

One would presume that she felt no remorse about anything she has done based on this reaction. The only thing she may feel bad about is getting caught.

I am horrified and disgusted to have to share this, but EVERY avenue has been attempted by the most experienced people in the community since mid last year, to no effect. In a last-ditch effort, this situation has now been made public in hopes of preventing people from supporting this breeder by purchasing puppies (of which she has 3 litters planned for this year). PLEASE do not message/harass this person, as I said the best of the WDC have been trying to no success. I am sharing George Stapleton & Sara Movahedi’s experiences here.

George: “This post is about a dire situation for Wolfdogs in Cherokee County Texas, and may be one of the hardest things I have ever had to do…

Let me tell you what we experienced….nothing could have prepared me for what I saw and felt at Lynn Savage’s place. For years I had heard the stories, going back to the mid 90’s about how bad it was out there. I never took much stock in it and assumed others would deal with whatever was going on out there if there were a need. I mean how bad could it be? Little did I know. 

I was approached by some folks in July of last year and they wanted my help placing Lynn’s animals. It was never going to be that simple and it still is by no means, that simple. They sent me pics and told me their experiences and I said I would help and even tried to get out there but could not at the time. Fast forward to the end of August and I was getting ready to go to the Pawty at FMF and I get a call. Jimmy Mantel has become a very good friend of mine and this is what has happened to us, others were involved initially, and they can say who they are if they want. Jimmy calls me and says, Lynn has had a stroke and now the need to place her animals is urgent. The reason the animals needed placement goes way beyond Lynn having a stroke, the neglect and abuse I saw was systemic and comes from years of those behaviors. Enclosures knee deep with bones and feces as well as some puppy skeletons, containments that are hardly standing, water green with weeks of algae, canines with so many fleas and ticks on them that one died. Dead canines in trash cans, and canines that died years ago in no longer working freezers. (Note from me: in addition, a dead canine’s decomposing body was used to block a breach in containment to prevent his mate from escaping) Pretty much the worst situation that an animal could have to endure.

Some of this may have to do with Lynn’s choice of how to live, she is a hoarder, and, in my opinion, that is her choice. I saw everything that first trip and spent the better part of the 1st day feeding and cleaning water buckets and securing canines enclosures. I also did a physical assessment of each animal for rescue. At the time I had no idea where Jimmy and I were going to place them. Lynn had given Jimmy verbal permission to place the animals, she just had a stroke and knew it needed to happen. 

From the moment that Lynn went into the hospital, Jimmy drove 4 to 5 hours 3 times a week to feed and water Lynn’s animals. Those animals never ate so good and certainly by the end of 8 weeks of care he gave they did not look emaciated anymore. Before then we had the 2nd trip planned, and we were bringing out the folks from Wolf Connection in California and St. Francis Wolf Sanctuary in Texas to do their own assessments and help plan the rescue. The folks from those orgs spent a lot of time with us there and in the end agreed to take all the Wolfdogs. Jimmy and I had done it!! We found a place for all of them, USDA licensed facilities to boot, and they agreed to not make a shitshow in the press about it. Do you have any idea how hard that is? 

And then, Lynn said we could not save them, something happened to her at the hospital and only Lynn can tell you what, then she was released back into living in her dog kennel. So that stopped us in our tracks….for the next couple of months we tried offering Lynn money, we begged and pleaded, we went to the USDA and the County Attorney and Deputy Sheriffs and no one could make Lynn give her animals up or take them. It is now puppy season and she has 3 breeding pairs and intends to sell them. 

Here is the deal; that is not going to happen. I may not be able to save Lynn’s animals from the horrid place they are in, but I can damn well make sure everyone knows and does not buy from her. You want the proof, here are some pics. What do Jimmy and I want; we want you all to help Lynn understand the danger she is putting Wolfdogs, herself and her local community in; and to let us place her animals before something bad happens to her or the animals. Or you can find places for them, or you all can chip in and fix her enclosures and provide her an animal caretaker because even before the stroke she could not take care of her animals properly. 

For you old timers, it is time for this to end. For the new breed, please learn from our mistakes. We need to make sure that nothing like this ever happens again. You may ask who am I to pass judgement on Lynn Savage like this, all I can say is I am not the only one person that knows the truth. And I would never act on my own, not like this, not for something so serious. I have also been there and seen all of it, and I mean all of it as well as some others. I am worried about the Wolfdogs, how is she feeding them, does she change the water or just throw bleach in, what about the fact she cannot even get in the enclosures, what happens when puppies are born will they drown in the rain, how many Wolfdogs must die, what is it going to take for Lynn Savage to do the right thing?

Let these names burn into your brain as they have mine….Nootka and Sheeba, Ripley and Smokey, Ranger and Walks, and a very old girl with a broken leg or shoulder since at least August; Enya. I am haunted day and night by what I saw there, and it hurts my soul that Lynn will not see the truth and let me help. No animal should have to live like that and I am tired of knowing about it and being unable to save them….please help us, please help Jimmy and I save these animals.”

Sara Movahedi: “When this situation first came to my attention, Lynn agreed to let me find homes for some of the animals, and said she would let me take two pups she had left from an unplanned Smokey/Ripley litter to bring to our sanctuary here in Florida. I contacted some folks in Texas with knowledge of the situation to assist with the lows and dogs she had on property and had agreed to give up, since it made no sense for me to head up a rescue of that magnitude from several states away. None of these animals had ever seen a vet, none had been vaccinated, none had been altered. At some point in the first few days of discussion, Lynn changed her mind about letting us take the two babies, and said she would only allow one to leave... the little female. She wanted to keep the male (for breeding when he would be of age I’m assuming) and despite my pleas to keep them together and let us take them both, she refused. In the end, we were only able to save the little girl, but that one little life was still one less that had to endure those conditions. About Maya... Lynn didn’t pull them, and she wasn’t touched or handled until she was 4 weeks of age. After suffering some kind of accident involving the fence, Lynn took her and her brother out and placed them in a round pen (similar to a puppy play pen) with a GP pup she had acquired at some point. Maya and her brother were never bottle fed, instead, they went right from their mother to canned Pedigree at 4 weeks of age. As a result..... Maya was a tiny little ball of paralyzed fur. She literally wouldn’t move from the back of the crate during transport, and remained shut down during the days she was fostered by someone in Tx for us. I will let the transporter and the foster come forward if they wish, I won’t name them without their blessing. Maya was completely broken, and it was unlike anything I had ever seen in a 6-7 week old baby. For weeks, she remained isolated and distant from the other pups at the sanctuary. Her fear and insecurity about the world around her prevented her from playing, from interacting with our staff, or really doing anything a normal, healthy puppy that age would do. We were fortunate to find a social hc pup almost the same exact age as her, and brought him to the sanctuary in hopes of bringing her out of her shell a bit... but to illustrate how damaged and broken this baby was, her insecurities and fears instead made her social buddy become shy and slightly skittish just from being around her all the time... But with time, she has slowly started to play, and interact with other pups her age, but the damage is unmistakable when you see her and watch her with other animals. Her first few weeks at Lynn’s undeniably scarred her for life and that is something that she will always live with... my only regret is not being able to keep her and her brother together, and not being able to get the other animals out when we got her.”

I feel the need to share this story

Major trigger warnings to anyone who gets freaked out or scared easily...skip the second paragraph.

I know this sounds stupid but I see auras. It’s like, a color that comes of people when the light reflects in their skin. My mom and aunt can see it too. I’m Sioux, Cherokee, and Choctaw. I am a healer with an orange aura.

And I haven’t though about The Pawn Shop in such a long time but their were two men that owned it and their auras were black. They had a man chained up in the basement, they wanted my mom and I, they wanted to kill my dad. I was 8 at the time and I saw ‘under their masks’. The younger man had black eyes and a pure black mind, the older one had a grayish silver left eye and a partial bit on the left of his head but the rest was black. I could see their eyes in their heads but they were hovering out at the same time and I could see in their minds. The second time I went, the man in the basement was gone. I couldn’t feel him. I think he was murdered. I could FEEL his fear. This is the only time this has very happened...although I know someone who is charcoal gray, she has such potential too, she just can’t fix it herself.

But seeing auras isn’t bad, I see how light children and animals are, what struggles people have gone through. How colorful they are, how they interact with others, and what their intentions are. I met a woman at the hospital whose aura was such a light pink, it was almost white. She is such a good person and I can only hope to one day be something like her.

Devil Like Me (Part I)

(A/N Hi everyone!This is Part I of my new Klaus fic “Devil Like Me” I've had this idea for years and thought maybe other people would enjoy reading it. Part II should be up soon, my inbox is always open!Hope you enjoy.) 

Then 

Sipping bitter cherry vodka from a chewed red solo cup, you swayed to the thud of the music blaring from the radio of a rusty Cherokee Jeep, fingertips gathering at the bottom of the silk dress you had borrowed from your best friend. Partying wasn't something you were used to, but it was approaching the anniversary and you needed a release from the thoughts swirling in your own head. The atmosphere of the evening was odd, the forest seemed eerily beautiful despite the slaughters that had occurred recently, you knew it was stupid, unbelievably stupid to be out somewhere so potentially dangerous but you couldn't help feeling strangely comfortable.

Cold hands pressed against the tips of your shoulder blades sending goosebumps down your spine, you spun around coming face to face with a green-eyed girl with a mess of curly auburn hair.

"Jesus, Jasmine! You scared the crap out of me!” 

She smiled brightly, her cat-like eyes crinkling at the corners as she swung a freckled arm around your neck.

"Y/N, relax!" she giggled "You looked like you were in your own world back there, I thought you'd been possessed." 

You rolled your eyes and shoved her slightly, resting your head on hers, both of you relishing in the warmth of another person.

I'm glad you came," she muttered careful not to attract prying ears "I wasn't sure you would.”

"Me neither," you hummed watching the liquid in your cup slosh against the side "Anything better than playing Cluedo with Aunt Jean and eating dry biscuits.”

The redhead gave you a small smile and punched your arm playfully,

 "C'mon no time for moping, I'm gonna go get another drink, don't think I can survive tonight sober. You want anything?" You shook your head but thanked her anyway, watching as she danced off into the crowd.

You managed to find a moment of solace pressed against a large oak tree, happily watching the night unfold from the background until something caught your eye. Staring off into the distance, eyebrows furrowed, was a girl in your biology class. You didn't know her that well but tried to catch her gaze with a friendly smile as she glanced around cautiously. She started to stumble into the trees as if she was following a voice, tumbling out of her expensive heels, legs askew like Bambi learning to walk. Almost unconsciously you followed her, worried for her wellbeing. You'd been to parties like this before and seen the results of a bad trip, and it wasn't safe for her to be wandering alone, especially after the previous incidents.  

"Sarah?" You shouted stepping over fallen branches and wet moss "Where the hell did you go?" you murmured, surprised at not being able to spot the girl who seconds earlier looked like she was walking on ice. You were starting to regret your decision, no longer surrounded by the comfort of the party, you were greeted with eerie silence and a darkness that didn't seem to end.

"Sarah? Please come out and talk to me?" The trees crowded together up above making it impossible for the silver moon to shine through.  Claustrophobia was seeping through your veins, but you could see something in the distance, the outline of a person stood in a small clearing of tall pine trees.

"Sara-" You started but suddenly you froze, unable to form any words, she wasn't standing, she was being held up by someone or something. The darkness was disorientating but you held your ground, squinting in the black, something had her, nails around her collar, head buried in her throat. She was limp like a ragdoll, blonde hair dangling in the breeze, no control over her limbs.  

"Get off her!'' you yelped, surprised at the courage you had managed to pluck up as you stumbled forward. Its head rose up, slowly, confidently, not disturbed by your presence.  It looked like a man, but it wasn't, it couldn't be. Veins darting across its face, black as the forest you were trapped in, eyes red like wildfire. Its gaze met yours, and you felt bile rise at the back of your throat, stomach burning with acid. With one slow movement, it wiped its sleeve across its jaw, and that's when you noticed it, thick, hot, red blood staining its mouth. As soon as he was there he was gone, leaving you alone with the lifeless corpse of a friend, and one question surging around your head.

Why did he not kill you too?

Now 

When you were first looking for a place to disappear, you figured it would be ridiculous to seek refuge in a village so similar to where you first met. You were trying to forget, and being surrounded by constant reminders of the past wasn't exactly the way to do so. However, as you now strode the familiar route to the diner where you worked, you were glad for the comforting smell of the ocean. It had been almost two years now, and you had slept in more beds than you could count, changed location almost once a week, sometimes more, but you felt at home in this sleepy town, albeit a temporary one.  

The bell above the door rang as you stepped inside, grateful for the welcoming smell of warm pancakes and cinnamon coffee. Billy gave you a smile from behind the counter, which you returned happily as you pulled on your apron and grabbed your pencil and notebook. Diners like these were safe for temporary jobs, lots of other young women became waitresses when they wanted to escape and you just slotted in like a mannequin amongst all the other faces. 

A few hours later and it was still relatively quiet, just a few friendly regulars ordering their usuals, so with Billy's permission you sat down at a table to have your break. Croissant in one hand and iced tea in the other you relaxed in a cherry booth, scouring the newspaper from a few towns over for any vacancies. You had done cities, Berlin, Rome, Paris, but you never felt content there, too many people and besides, they all reminded you of him. You shook your head immediately, not allowing thoughts of him to break the barrier you had spent the last two years building. It was your choice to leave, so you had to deal with it.

You clocked out just as the sun was setting, a fiery rose and red over the dozy town. Tonight you deviated from your usual route, using the sky as an opportunity to lounge on a bench overlooking the shores, inhaling the salty air. You heard them before you saw them. You weren't sure how many but there was definitely more of them than you, in that moment your only option was to run. Slowly, you started shifting from your seat getting ready to sprint off into the distance, this wasn't the first time they had come for you. At least you had the advantage of the modest cottage you were renting, from there you would be able to keep them out long enough to make a plan and maybe even get to the car you had on standby for situations like this.

But first, you needed to get away and as soon as you heard the crack of the grass behind your head, you were off. They were behind you though, fast like deer and strong like elephants. You mentally cursed yourself for allowing a night off, you were never this careless. One of them was behind you, slowly inching closer, he was much more powerful than you were especially now you only drank limited amounts of blood from hospitals nearby. You sped up, dodging rocks and debris but he was too close, his fingers grasping the threads on your worn parka. Another one managed to grab your shoulder, jerking you back into his chest, you let out a cry but refused to admit defeat, clawing at him like a wounded animal. Two others grabbed your limbs, preventing you from struggling, despite everything they were being gentle with you and you knew why.

"Calm down Y/N" one of them murmured as you writhed around struggling to break free. “We're just here to take you home, he's spent two years looking for you, you know." His voice an accusing pitch, as if he knew anything about your past and what had transpired.

 At the mention of him your heart clenched, it had never been your intention to hurt him, but you had to leave. You knew what the answer would be but you still needed to ask, "Who are you taking me to?" his eyes met yours as his hands clasped around your throat, ready to twist.

"Klaus."

Then your world went blank, as you sunk into the heavy arms around you.
