All Together on Christmas
Summary: The Mendez family spend Christmas together
Tumblr media
Amy sat on the couch scrolling through her phone while Chelsea and Luz played around upstairs. Amy smiles as she hears their laughter coming down the stairs.
They both run up to her with big grins “Hey mom is dad home yet?”
Amy shakes her head “Nope not yet”
Luz groans “Ugh boooo he’s taking forever”
Chelsea nods “Yeah I wanna decorate the tree already”
Amy giggles “I’m sure he’ll be back soon”
The door opens and Thomas steps in the girls runs up to him and hug him. He early returns the hug “Why hello there”
Luz playfully punches him “Dad you slow poke what took you so long been waiting for you to decorate the tree”
Thomas chuckles “Sorry about that traffic was bad”
Amy stands and kisses him on the cheek “Well glad you’re here now”
Thomas smiles “Me too I’m gonna get changed and then we can do it”
Chelsea and Luz cheer then head upstairs as Thomas and Amy laugh. Thomas smiles and walks over and kisses her softly “And how’s my beautiful wife?”
“I’m good”
“And our little one?” Thomas rubs her baby bump
Amy giggles “Been calm”
Thomas kneels down and kisses her bump “I can’t wait to meet you I wonder what you’ll be”
Amy giggles as she blushes “I love you Thomas”
“I love you too Amy” He kisses her deeply
Luz calls from the living room “Daaaaaad! Mooooom! Come on we’re waiting for you!”
Thomas sighs as he pulls way and Amy laughs “We’re coming you two!” He turns to Amy “Duty calls”
“Yes it does babe”
They walk into the living room and put up the tree. Thomas steps back and admires their handiwork “Not bad but it’s missing something”
Amy turns to him “What’s it? We don’t have anymore decorations”
Thomas smirks and steps out the room then returns with a box. There’s ornaments and stockings with with each of their names on it
Chelsea grins “Dad this is so cool!”
Luz grins “I love it let’s put it up”
They put up the stocking and hang the ornaments on the tree then stand back to admire their work
“Thomas this is awesome”
Thomas wraps an arm around her waist “I’m glad you all love it”
Luz jumps up and down with Chelsea “It’s amazing dad let’s do this every year”
Thomas chuckles “Of course girls” Amy suddenly moves away from him “Sweetie?”
“Sorry the baby’s sitting on my bladder”
Thomas laughs as Amy rushes to the bathroom
Luz turns to him “Babies make you pee dad?”
“Only when they’re inside your stomach they make you do a lot of things”
Luz grins “Coooooool”
Thomas chuckles
****
Amy wakes up on Christmas day to the sound of Chelsea’s and Luz’s cheering. Thomas opens the door and kisses her “Wake up baby the kids are already downstairs”
“Of course they are they opening gifts?”
The sound of paper being ripped echoes through the house “Oh Luz look a model rocket!”
“Look brand new soccer shoes!”
Thomas chuckles “Does that answer your question?”
Amy giggles then throws the covers off then she smiles “Thomas can you help me up”
Thomas smiles and holds out his hands to help her stand. She grabs them and stands “Thanks babe”
“Anything for you now you take it easy baby”
“I will”
They head downstairs where the girls are under the tree opening gifts they turn around and beckon them over
Amy laughs as they walk over “You two couldn’t wait till we came downstairs?”
Chelsea grins “But it’s Christmas it’s time to open the gifts”
Amy giggles “You’re right about that”
Thomas wraps his arms around her “I love this our Christmas together as a family” He rubs her stomach “And soon we’ll be a family of 5”
Amy grins “Yes Merry Christmas Thomas”
“Merry Christmas to you to beautiful”’

Ephemeral Masterpieces: Unveiling the Spectacular New York Art Installation Transforming the Cityscape
Welcome to the dynamic world of the New York City art scene, where expression of the arts finds a home on every corner of the city and creativity is unrestricted. The newest and most fascinating art installations that are changing the city's landscape and capturing the attention of both locals and tourists are something we at NYC Art Installation are excited to present and celebrate.
The Urban Jungle Comes Alive:
Enter the centre of the urban jungle where captivating installations by artists bring the concrete jungle of the city to life. With its massive sculptures and immersive experiences, New York City has developed into a haven for contemporary artists pushing the envelope.
"Metropolis Rises," a joint project by famous sculptor Alex Johnson and digital artist Mia Rodriguez, is one particularly noteworthy piece. With dynamic LED lights throbbing in time with the beat of New York, this piece, which is located right in the middle of Times Square, evokes the vitality of the city.
Redefining Street Art:
New York's cultural legacy has long included street art, which is still developing thanks to creative approaches and new viewpoints. Without any boundaries, the streets themselves turn into a gallery where artists turn ordinary surfaces into appealing pieces of art.
Discover the Lower East Side, where colorful murals have been painted on once-neglected walls thanks to the "Concrete Canvases" project. Together, regional and worldwide street artists have created a visual story that captures the vibrancy and diversity of the community.
The Intersection of Nature and Urbanity:
Artists are figuring out how to bring nature back into the urban setting in a city that is frequently known for its tall skyscrapers and busy streets. The natural world and the cityscape can now be found in other places besides rooftop gardens and green areas, where art pieces are fusing these components in novel and surprising ways.
In "Urban Oasis," landscape artist Sarah Thompson and architect Carlos Mendez work together to create a calm oasis out of a Chelsea public square. By interacting with the installation, visitors can achieve a harmonious balance between the artificial and the natural.
Technology Meets Art:
As technology develops further, artists are utilizing state-of-the-art discoveries in their installations to create immersive and interactive works that defy preconceived ideas about what constitutes art. The city's creative fabric now effortlessly incorporates technology marvels like augmented reality and projection mapping.
"Digital Dreams," one such piece, is located in Brooklyn's DUMBO district. This installation, which was made by a group of digital artists, gives viewers a bizarre and mind-bending experience by superimposing dynamic and constantly-changing pictures onto the surrounding architecture using augmented reality.
We cordially encourage you to investigate the dynamic realm of New York Art Installation at NYC Art Installation. These works engage the community and spark discussion on the relationship between art, culture, and the busy metropolis in addition to beautifying the urban landscape. Come celebrate with us the artists who turn the city into a dynamic, living work of art. To learn more about these incredible installations and to schedule your trip into the centre of New York's creative soul, visit www.nycartinstallation.com.

Jejak Pemain Jerman di Arsenal: Dari Reputasi Mentereng Hingga Keunikan Kai Havertz
Jejak Pemain Jerman di Arsenal: Dari Reputasi Mentereng Hingga Keunikan Kai Havertz
Tumblr media

Gardiens de but : Unai Simon (Athletic Bilbao), Robert Sanchez (Brighton & Hove Albion), David Raya (Brentford). Défenseurs : Cesar Azpilicueta (Chelsea), Dani Carvajal (Real Madrid), Eric Garcia (Barcelone), Hugo Guillamon (Valence), Pau Torres (Villarreal), Aymeric Laporte (Manchester City), Jordi Alba (Barcelone), Jose Gaya (Valence). Milieux de terrain : Sergio Busquets (Barcelone), Rodri (Manchester City), Gavi (Barcelone), Carlos Soler (Paris Saint-Germain), Marcos Llorente (Atletico Madrid), Pedri (Barcelone), Koke (Atletico Madrid). Attaquants : Ferran Torres (Barcelone), Nico Williams (Athletic Bilbao), Yeremi Pino (Villarreal), Alvaro Morata (Atletico Madrid), Marco Asensio (Real Madrid), Pablo Sarabia (Paris Saint-Germain), Dani Olmo (RB Leipzig), Ansu Fati (Barcelone). Read the full article

Crossing Paths - A Julianne Story
Crossing Paths – A Julianne Story
Julianne as a toddler
I was a three-year-old boy in Albuquerque New Mexico when she was born in Mesa, Arizona. By the time she was five, I was on my way to Dallas, Texas with my family. By the time she was ten, I was learning the ropes as a junior high student in the Denver area. As she grew to the age of 15 and had begun her high school years, I had already traveled to Bozeman, Great Falls and…

Jorge Mendez Blake in 'Borders' at James Cohan Gallery
Borders are front and center in U.S. politics and at James Cohan Gallery where Jorge Mendez Blake’s ‘Amerika’ bisects the main exhibition space, arresting both visitors’ thoughts and physical progress through the show. Mid-way along the base of the wall, Mendez Blake has placed a copy of Kafka’s ‘Amerika,’ the troubled tale of a European immigrant to New York, intimating that migration is a fraught undertaking from start to finish. (On view at James Cohan Gallery’s Chelsea and Lower East Side spaces through Feb 23rd). Jorge Mendez Blake, Amerika, bricks, edition of ’Amerika’ by Franz Kafka, 72 7/8 x 11 7/8 x 400 inches, 2019.

540 Local Elected Officials From All 50 States Urge Prez Trump to Import More Refugees to U.S.
Joe Biden has promised to make this happen, including taking in foreigners from terrorist hotspots around the world. In fact, Joe Biden was one of the original architects of the fraud-ridden refugee program that has destroyed neighborhoods across the U.S.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
by Ann Corcoran
I told you here that the refugee industry was working on a letter to the President urging him to get the refugee flow into America moving again.
Yesterday they sent the letter with 540 signatories.
Says Amnesty International:
By signing this letter, these elected officials have joined together to voice their commitment to welcoming refugees in their communities and reviving the United States’ legacy as a leader in refugee resettlement.
I notice something missing from the letter. It avoids giving the President a number, but the industry has made it very clear!
They want 95,000 refugees to begin arriving on October first.
The President could make a decision this month on how many refugees might be invited to live in the US in FY2021. He could also legally set the ceiling at zero.
All of my posts on the topic are tagged FY2021.
Here are the signatories from yesterday.  The list is handy for identifying those local elected officials who are changing America by changing the people.
I don’t know why the organizers think that these open borders advocates will hold any sway with the President, but they sure make it handy for you to identify the other side where you live. Target them for retirement when they come up for re-election!
(For a little additional fun, see last year’s list here.)
They say the list is bipartisan, but there is no indication of party affiliation.  You will need to look through those listed in your state to see if Republicans are among those looking to import more poverty to your city.
