With all of the spam followers following so many blogs on Tumblr right now . . . (*Sighs dejectedly*) . . . I truthfully don't know what to say. (*Another dejected low moan*) 😞
⚠️ Disclaimer: I don't own the image & image is NOT mine.
📷 Credits to Neil Cooper; Dallas Wings and Twitter (A.k.a X --A/N: 👀 🤔) for the image of Bella, Allisha and Chelsea whom I wish them nothing but the very best of luck with other endeavors in their very own life as they are now ex- WNBA and ex-Dallas Wings Players as well.

Jordan Brand x WNBA Athlete Roster Family
Tumblr media
According to NIKE
How do you define family? One way to look at it is as a group of diverse individuals bound by love. That definition holds for the recent addition of eight WNBA players to Jordan Brand, and demonstrates Michael Jordan’s desire to form an expansive and inclusive family. “The world needs female voices, and we can’t ignore that or else we’re not growing,” he says. “The Jordan Brand is committed to giving women a platform to amplify their voices, which influence, inspire and push culture forward.”
That commitment was apparent in April 2021 when Jordan was photographed alongside the Brand’s active WNBA athletes: Jordin Canada, Te’a Cooper, Crystal Dangerfield, Chelsea Dungee, Arella Guirantes, Dearica Hamby, Kia Nurse, Aerial Powers and Satou Sabally. The gathering celebrated the Brand’s largest female roster ever, an investment in the game’s emerging stars that reveals an intention to shape the future of basketball culture. “These amazing athletes are defining a lot of things about Jordan Brand and leading a true conversation that’s impacting culture and our communities across the globe,” Jordan says.
The simultaneous elegance and strength of the images and their subjects suggests a turning point for women in society and in sports — specifically signaling a bright future for the women’s game and the next generation. “Representation really matters at this point in time,” says Seattle Storm star Jordin Canada. “To have eleven black women be a part of this brand allows the younger generation and younger women to see that they can be like us — they can have that opportunity. I didn't see that growing up.”
This blurring of on- and off-court activism has defined Jordan Brand since its inception. A shared love for the game and everything basketball culture represents serves as a unifying platform for fans and athletes drawn to Jordan’s larger-than-life legacy and the Brand’s increasing commitment to creating impact by influencing society and championing Black community initiatives. The new members of the Jordan Brand family embody this ethos, activating their professional platforms to campaign for social justice — whether through the WNBA’s dedication of its 2020 season to the #SayHerName movement; the #WeGotUsChallenge, an initiative to support Black-owned businesses; or their own personal engagement. As Minnesota Lynx standout Crystal Dangerfield explains, “We don't just stick to our sport. We're vocal in the league, as a whole, and we're going to bring it to the community — to leave things better than we found them.”
This dedication to building a powerful family legacy is precisely what drew the women to Jordan Brand. “As a member of the Jordan Brand family, you don't just get to be a legend on the court,” Dallas Wings rookie Chelsea Dungee says, “you have to be a legend off the court.”

A Golden Upset
Cal Takes Down #20 Arkansas Behind Brown's Career Day
BERKELEY – "We stuck with it and just refused to lose." Head coach Charmin Smith and the Cal women's basketball team made a statement on Sunday, upsetting No. 20 Arkansas, 84-80, in a thriller at Haas Pavilion. The Golden Bears (3-2, 0-0 Pac-12) extended their winning streak to three in a row, led by a stellar showing on both ends of the floor from senior Jaelyn Brown. The 6'1" guard/forward went off for a career-high 30 points and added a career-best 12 rebounds to power the Golden Bears to their first Top-25 victory of the year. Brown – who surpassed her season-high with 19 points at the half and had an eye-popping 15 points in the second quarter alone – becomes just the 23rd player in program history to score 30 or more points in a game, and joins All-Americans Ashley Walker, Reshanda Gray, and Kristine Anigwe as the only Golden Bears in the last 20 seasons to post at least 30 points and 12 rebounds in a single game. Cal also saw CJ West (14 points, 12 rebounds) and Eveliene Lutje Schipholt (11 points, 10 rebounds) record double-doubles, as the Bears outrebounded Arkansas, 49-32. Cal held a 19-8 advantage on the offensive glass, led by 10 offensive rebounds from Brown. "Charmin is always on us to box out and crash hard," said West, whose 14 points marked a season-high. "We had inspiration and help from all our teammates. Everyone was crashing hard and brought a lot of energy. That just inspires you to work hard every possession." Four different players scored in double-figures for Arkansas, led by 24 points from guard Chelsea Dungee, a preseason candidate for the Ann Meyers Drysdale Award. Dungee and the Razorbacks got off to a strong start, jumping out to a 7-2 lead. However, Cal quickly found its scoring touch and trailed by only five after the first quarter. The second quarter proved pivotal, as Cal outscored Arkansas in the frame, 27-14, to take a 47-39 lead into halftime. The Bears closed the quarter on a 7-0 run and outscored the Razorbacks 15-4 over the final 3:47 of the half. Brown and West powered the Golden Bears' second quarter surge, scoring or assisting on 24 of Cal's 27 points. Brown – who entered the day averaging 10.5 points per game on the season – scored 15 points in the second quarter on 6-10 shooting from the floor and knocked down a pair of free throws with 0.1 left of the clock to give the Bears an eight-point lead at the break. Cal withstood a 13-4 Arkansas run to open the second half and extended their lead to back to eight late in the third quarter after a finish in the paint by Lutje Schipholt off an assist from junior Alaysia Styles. The Bears dished out a season-high 20 assists in the win, led by a career-high seven assists from freshman point guard Leilani McIntosh. The back-and-forth battle continued into the fourth quarter and Arkansas reclaimed the lead after a score inside by Alexis Tolefree put the Hogs up 78-77. However, Cal responded right away with a basket inside by West and Brown drilled her fourth three-pointer of the night shortly after to make it a two-possession game. Arkansas got back within two after another score by Tolefree but Cal freshman Cailyn Crocker sunk a pair of free throws with two seconds left to ice the game. Croker finished with nine points and a career-high seven rebounds, as Cal's bench outscored the Razorbacks' reserves, 25-6. The Bears' also held an 18-8 advantage on second-chance points and picked up the program's first win over a ranked opponent since knocking off No. 22 Arizona State on February 22, 2019. "This was a great win for the program," said Smith, in the midst of her first season as head coach. "I think this is a big confidence booster for us moving forward." Cal continues its nine-game home stand after Thanksgiving, hosting the semi-annual Cal Classic. The 2019 edition of the tournament features North Carolina Central, Penn State, and Long Beach State. Cal and NC Central (1-3, 0-0 MEAC) will meet in the opening game, a 1 p.m. PT tip-off on Friday, November 29, followed by Long Beach State (1-4, 0-0 Big West) vs Penn State (3-3, 0-0 Big Ten) at 3:15 p.m. The consolation game of the Cal Classic will be held at 1:00 p.m. PT on Saturday, November 30, with the championship game to follow at 3:15 p.m. PT. Friday's opening game between the Golden Bears and Eagles marks the return of a familiar face to Haas Pavilion. North Carolina Central head coach Trisha Stafford-Odom graduated from Cal in 1992 after an All-American playing career for the Golden Bears. Stafford-Odom led the Golden Bears to their first two NCAA Tournament appearances in 1990 and 1992 and was inducted into the Cal Athletics Hall of Fame in 2013.

Looking at those two pictures; the "Three" women squad reminds me too much of something out of the 2000s Teen Movies.
Plus speaking of, did I mention I did miss Bella Alarie so much??? Honestly, I love the girls in the 2nd image so much.
Oh and Chelsea Dungee is the most underrated player in the Dallas Wings.

Former #ChicagoBulls player #MichaelJordan, serial entrepreneur, and owner of the #CharlotteHornets, has added eight #WNBA players to his Jordan Brand to “form an expansive and inclusive family,” according to Nike. More women than ever are representing the Jordan Brand, in the largest roster ever. “The world needs female voices, and we can’t ignore that or else we’re not growing,” Jordan said. “The Jordan Brand is committed to giving women a platform to amplify their voices, which influence, inspire and push culture forward.” Nike said that new members of the Jordan Brand family embody the Jordan brand’s “on- and off-court activism” through doing things such as utilizing their platforms to get involved in social justice, support #BlackOwnedbusinesses, or engaging in social causes. #JordinCanada, #TeaCooper, #CrystalDangerfield, #ChelseaDungee, #ArellaGuirantes, #DearicaHamby, #KiaNurse, #AerialPowers and #SatouSabally are the Brand’s active #WNBA athletes who were photographed with #Jordan in #2021 to celebrate the brand’s largest roster, per #Nike’s announcement. 2021 WNBA Mock Draft
This is a weak draft considering the top talent that declared early last year. This makes things even harder to predict because teams can go in many different directions. There are no clear choices... ESPECIALLY at #1.
1. Dallas Wings- Awak Kuier (PF, Finland)
Tumblr media
I can’t put Charli Collier as the #1 overall pick. I just can’t do it. The youngest team is going to draft the youngest player in the draft. Kuier is just 19 years old but she has the versatility and skill that today’s game loves. She’s a 6′5″ forward who already has a decent 3-point shot. Many over seas players who are drafted this young don’t come over right away, so she will be a good stash pick for Dallas. Why not, they have 100 other picks in this draft.
2. Dallas Wings- Charli Collier (C, Texas)
Tumblr media
IN THEORY she would be a great choice for Dallas. They need a good rebounder and a true center to help out Izzy Harrison. Here’s my problem: Big 12 Semi Finals vs. Baylor (FG 1-2. PF 4. REB 1). The player many are predicting to be the #1 pick only had TWO shot ATTEMPTS against one of the best teams in the country. If she can’t demand the ball and make plays as the best player on her team in college, how can we expect her to do it in the WNBA? Another example: vs. UCLA in the Second Round of the NCAA tournament (FG1-3. REB 5. PF 4.) Texas pulled of the upset in this game but it was in no thanks to Collier. She is far too prone to getting into foul trouble. A #1 pick is supposed to impact a franchise and I don’t see how Collier will do that. In honesty I don’t think she’s a #2 pick either, but I think Dallas will end up picking her here anyway.
3. Atlanta Dream- Rennia Davis (SF, Tennessee)
Tumblr media
With Tiffany Hayes returning Atlanta should hopefully find some consistency this season. The loss of Renee Montgomery to retirement shouldn’t effect them too much considering they has Chennedy Carter to fill her spot. What Atlanta is lacking is versatility. Rennia Davis is a player who can get them a bucket, rebound and defend well, and get up and down the floor quickly.
4. Indiana Fever- Aari McDonald (PG, Arizona)
Tumblr media
I don’t think anyone has boosted their draft stock more than McDonald. I love her game because a lot of her energy comes from her defense. That’s not something you see from a lot of players, so if you can find it you should take it. With the Olympics being in 2021 it seems like Allemande won’t be playing this season, so that means Indiana will be down a point guard. Dana Evans could easily be chosen here as well, but I think her tenacious defense and her tournament performance will give her the edge.
5. Dallas Wings- Natasha Mack (PF, Oklahoma St)
I desperately want Dallas to take Mack here. She lead the country in blocks, averaging 4 BPG. Dallas desperately needs some rim protection. They just need to do it. Will they? Probably not.
6. New York Liberty- Dana Evans (PG, Louisville)
It’s hard to predict what New York is going to do because they team they will have this year will look nothing last last years. They made some great additions with Natasha Howard, Betnijah Laney, and Sami Whitcomb. With the Olympics it is unclear whether Han Xu and Marine Johannes will be playing. And with Asia Durr’s battle with Covid- 19 it seems unlikely she will be playing either. I think New York will go with Evans here because they need to improve their shooting and defense. I think they’ll also just go with the best available player, which would be Evans if she’s still available.
7. Dallas Wings- Arella Guirantes (SG, Rutgers)
Tumblr media
What Dallas does with their other 3 picks will determine what they do here. Guirantes will give them scoring off the bench, which will relieve some pressure from Ogunbowale.
8. Chicago Sky- Kiana Williams (PG, Stanford)
Tumblr media
Other than Vandersloot Chicago doesn’t have another true point guard. I think they will be choosing the best available point guard here. If my predictions are correct that leaves Williams as the best available point guard. She has greatly improved her draft stock during the tournament. This pick could easily go to McDonald as well .
9. Minnesota Lynx- Iliana Rupert (C, France)
I think it’s about time Minnesota starts thinking about life after Sylvia Fowles. The problem is they spent a lot of money this off season. They don’t need someone right this minute. That is why I think they’ll go for a stash pick here. Rupert is just 19 and has already played against WNBA stars in the Euroleague. She has a good face up game at the basket and is a great rebounder as well. I think her game would work well in Cheryl Reeves’s system.
10. Los Angeles Sparks- Chelsea Dungee (SG, Arkansas)
LA lost a lot of great players in the off season. LA is going to need someone who can come off the bench and score some points. It will also be great for her to learn from Seimone Augustus.
11. Seattle Storm- Didi Richards (PG/SG, Baylor)
Tumblr media
A lot of mock drafts has Richards falling to the second, even the third round. That blows my mind. Like any player from Baylor, her defense is elite. She brings constant energy, and her biggest spark is making a great defensive play. She doesn’t take a lot of shots, but she can get a bucket if she needs to. She also came back from a spinal cord injury in 38 days! That tells you the kind of person, and competitor she is. These are things you just can’t teach. Seattle lost Natasha Howard, Alysha Clark, and Sami Whitcomb in the off season. That is a lot of lost defense. Richards will be a perfect plug to those holes.
12. Las Vegas Aces- N’Dea Jones (PF, Texas A&M)
Vegas was also busy in the off season. They have no glaring needs, so I think they’ll go with someone with some versatility. Jones is a double- double machine. A downside is she is undersized at 6′2″. But she is someone who reminds me of Napheesa Collier. They are both undersized for their position, but aren’t afraid to do the dirty work to get the job done.

Chelsea Dungee Was Ready for Her W.N.B.A. (and Yacht?) Moment
She went around the room, taking selfies with the teammates, coaches and fans. Arkansas, where she transferred after spending her freshman year at Oklahoma, was where she found her identity — a relentless shooter whose offensive creativity made her the leading scorer in the Southeastern Conference in the 2020-21 season, averaging 22.3 points per game. Then there’s her razor-sharp crossover, the…

Fill out your women’s March Madness picks with our printable bracket
Tumblr media
We have a printable bracket ahead of the 2021 NCAA tournament.
The field of 64 teams for the women’s NCAA tournament was finalized on Monday, and the first round will kick off on Sunday, March 21. Unlike years past, all games will be played in San Antonio. The NCAA decided to move forward with a tournament bubble due to the ongoing pandemic.
Here’s a printable tournament bracket, available to download and use.

2021 Women’s NCAA Bracket
This year, the women’s bracket has a new look with updated region names. Rather than the typical North, South, East, and West regions, the NCAA has updated the names to Alamo, Riverwalk, Hemisfair, and Mercado.
Alamo Region
Stanford was named the overall No. 1, and they lead the Alamo Region. They have the potential to face both Arkansas and Louisville on their way to the Final Four. Arkansas is led by senior Chelsea Dungee, a high-powered scorer that could lead her team to a few upsets if set off. While Louisville seems more well-rounded and could be a tough-but-even matchup for the Cardinal in the Elite Eight.
Hemisfair Region
South Carolina leads this region and seeks to claim the title they could not last year due to the global health crisis and the NCAA shutting down the season. Though a sixth seed, Texas proves to be a potential threat to the gamecocks, making it to the Final Four. The Longhorns have a high ceiling and the projected WNBA No. 1 draft pick Charli Collier.
Riverwalk Region
UConn, lead by freshman Paige Bueckers, leads the Riverwalk region with the Baylor Bears, a two seed, as their biggest competition. With that said, Iowa and Michigan have the chance of pulling upsets that could shake up the region in an exciting way.
Mercado Region
The Mercado region is lead by ACC champions, NC State. They are arguably the most balanced team of all the teams in the tournament. While the road to the Final Four looks relatively straight for NC State, keep an eye on Texas A&M and Arizona. They have a chance of battling in the Sweet Sixteen and potentially face NC State in the Elite Eight. On the other hand, Rutgers could be the team to pull off an upset.
Fill out your printable bracket for the 2021 women’s NCAA tournament now
While the competition seems well balanced across the whole bracket, things never truly go as planned during March Madness. Fill out your printable bracket and predict the upsets, who will win each region, and ultimately, which team will be named 2021 NCAA champions.

Another lost media file I have found; Bella, Allisha and Chelsea 'Chelz' are looking too cute on the sideline for the Dallas Wings.
On an irrelevant yet a personal note except still relevant to thew topic but . . . I'd think Dallas Wings should definitely regret losing both Chelsea Dungee and Allisha Gray due to the different reasons they say the word 'Goodbye' to the both of them without even having to give them the room to grow (Including Bella Alarie) and yet for Bella; since she had retired from the WNBA for good; I don't think I truthfully blame her anything for good--honestly I do blame dejectedly on the WNBA for making their league so stagnant like come on we do need the growth in the W League.
Come on, WNBA: why not let the fandom have the same energy as how the WBB Community does have it on here on Tumblr.
On an off topic yet an irrelevant and a personal note; in my own fantasy world or definitely in my 'Never came to fruition' writing project I am going to put it on hold for a very long time; I'd think Allisha does look so good that she could become a swimmer (Recreational swimmer) in my own opinion and I'd think she would have a one piece swimwear which fits her well with the same Dallas Wings Rebels Uniform you have seen in this picture alone.
Also, I don't have ideas for Chelsea Dungee as an original character I want to do unfortunately but I do want her to be one of the many protagonists which I do have in my very own mind but never came to fruition as well.
