Where's the fun in the overly expensive? Some items are so creative and artistic and truly pretty, yet are bogged down by a background of shredded ethics, greed, and arrogance. Others just don't make sense: what's the point of a highly expensive watch that can really only tell you the time and maybe the date? Some would be nice to have—and there's nothing inherently wrong with wanting some fancy/luxury stuff. But every now and then I gotta think about it. At the core, what's their point? What 3 pieces of jewelry would you like Kate to remove from her collection (I’m predicting all Kikis) and what would you replace them with?

So I want you all to know I sincerely looked through all of her jewelry on UFO No More and as anyone could’ve guessed still decided they’d all be Kikis.

The first and honestly most egregious to me are these ones.  It’s such a simple design and instead of these I’d love to see her own a pair of quality diamond drop earrings that could be a staple of her wardrobe. I chose a pair of Tiffany earrings.

Next are these which I don’t really like the proportion or spacing of.  I chose to replace them with a gorgeous pair of Bulgari earrings.  The colors aren’t exactly the same, but I just loved the look and proportions so much I decided it was close enough.

Finally these blue topaz earrings.  This style is very much a signature Kiki style and one I hate. It looks so juvenile, cheap, and not tat all regal.  I replaced them with Cartier aquamarine earrings that have a far more interesting design to them.

Yes I like coming to your blog to read everything at once. Are we to expect the detailled report about the clothing expenses this month or next month?

I can give you what I have now. I was shocked that even after two insanely expensive bespoke gowns (which I priced at $11k, my standard for bespoke evening gowns), Kate is still behind by a good chunk. I have Meghan at $43; and Kate at $35k. I think Megs will break through $60k after the Morocco trip.

Everything with a question mark is still unverified. If you have a link or a price, I would appreciate it. Ditto for arithmetic corrections and stuff like that. Oh, and I took out the pap pic from Carole’s party and didn’t include the V-Day walk with Louis. I’m leaning towards keeping Meg’s Notting Hill pap walk because that is more public, but I will probably take it off and just count official events.

Do you remember when celebitchy would complain about Kate's cheap Kiki pieces? Haha. I think kiki pieces are overpriced.. but at least Kate wasn't publicly seen spending up a storm like a kid in a candy shop! Kate's biggest pieces have been gifts. There was the Cartier necklace she got flack for, but other than that, I can't remember any other big pieces she has bought with public money. Charles bought MM the Cartier diamond bracelet and earrings but the Birks pieces are from Charles Duchy money

I doubt Charles bought her anything, frankly.
