Preparing Your Vehicle for Transport
When preparing your vehicle for transport, you can take a few key steps to ensure a smooth and hassle-free experience. Start by cleaning out your car and removing any personal belongings. This will make the transport process more accessible and reduce the risk of anything getting damaged or lost during transit.
Next, be sure to document the condition of your vehicle before handing it over to the cheap car shippers. Take photos from all angles and make note of any existing dents, scratches, or other imperfections. This documentation can come in handy in case of any disputes regarding the condition of your car upon delivery.
Additionally, ensure your gas tank is no more than a quarter full, as this reduces weight and minimizes safety risks during transportation. Remember to turn off any alarms or immobilizers that could cause issues during transit.
By following these simple steps, you can help ensure your vehicle arrives safely at its destination using affordable auto transport services.
Conclusion: Affordable Auto Transport is Possible
Affordable auto transport is not just a dream; it's a reality that can be achieved with the right approach. You can score a deal that fits your budget by following the tips outlined in this article, such as researching cheap car shippers, comparing quotes, and preparing your vehicle for transport.

Okay, WEIRDLY, on Sunday, after getting into a strange art kick the earlier week, I broke down and bought official merch on the sharkrobot site. Namely the Stolas Lenticular Poster (wanted the car decals, but the poster has to be shipped separate, so wisely, I decided to hold off on it). Which turned out to be good decision, since they sent me a 10% off coupon code.
Also bought the Stolas & Blitzo youtooz via Hot Topic, which was considered a pre-order there, but hell, at least I got to use $15 worth of Hot Topic cash before it expired.
So, TODAY...well, as a 4 month fan, I think this was the first time I was anticipating a seasonal merchandise drop? Only it seems weird that the summer merchandise drops a month into summer? (But I am of retail-mind of which we're presently stocking fall stuff, so there you go) But actually, seeing these got me that most excited:
From what I understand, these originally came out in February or March? At any rate, the first time I've seen them was on eBay just last month, where sellers were trying to get anywhere from three to six times their original retail price.
The musical ones were tempting until I saw the youtube reviews of them and they just played generic music instead of any of their licensed show music (sorry, but that's just being cheap).
The large premium plushes though, I immediately snagged, along with my desired car decals.
No seasonal purchases yet (hoarder as I am, even I don't think I need any extra mugs, pins, mats, ect..at least until I see something I can't live without), but I hope the halloween & xmas stuff can bring about more shipper images.
All & all, good day to be a fangirl!

Driving Profits
One of the biggest problems faced by long-distance shippers, whether they be truck, rail, air, or ship, is the back haul. Suppose you made your delivery. Now your delivery vehicle, whatever it may be, is empty. In an ideal world, there would be another load to haul back, which would make the whole proposition lucrative for those in the shipping business.
Alas, it doesn’t always work out that way, and the train loads I see of stacked shipping containers heading west on the BNSF mainline by my house possibly are empty. You know. They are on their way back to China and other Asian nations so they can be refilled with more stuff for us.
It would be nice to keep those cars full of cargo, whatever kind it is. Now if we could just figure out how to send more things back to Asia. Not all containers go back empty, but our long-term imbalance of trade implies that at least some do. We consume more than we produce, and import more than we export.
A somewhat related problem is that faced by taxi and rideshare drivers. Airports are common pickups and drop-offs. Wouldn’t it be nice if you had a steady flow of those so that you never had an empty back seat? It’s not like these drivers can operate their vehicle like a bus, with people always getting on and off. No, they are doing repetitive out-and-backs, unless they get lucky and can string together customers.
Then there’s meal delivery services. A driver may be able to pack multiple orders in his or her vehicle if they are going to the same general location, but you can’t do too much of this, lest meals turn cold. And once again, you have to return to a restaurant—much like the airport—for the next gig.The result is empty vehicles, just like those shipping containers. It costs money to run empty.
Uber, though, has figured out their core business better than most. They are in the transportation business. Hauling people to and from morphed into Uber Eats, which helps connect more dots. And now they have launched their package return service, yet another transportation-related offering aimed to keep vehicles full of something, whatever it may be.
For $5 (and only $3 for UberOne members), an Uber driver will pick up your e-commerce return, and drop it off at the appropriate courier. (Uber One is a subscription service that offers discounts on rides, deliveries, groceries, etc., and costs $10 a month.) The return package must have prepaid shipping and be good to go. It is basically the complete opposite of how the package got to your porch in the first place.
Because, you know, returns can be a hassle, and they add one more stop to already busy days.
Returns is a bigger part of the equation than most people suspect. While it has trended downward the last couple of years to “only” 18.2% of online sales, it amounts to about $200 billion worth of returns a year. I am sure it is this number that Uber was focusing on when it decided to pursue this growth opportunity.
It’s a smart move by Uber, who wishes to expand into new customer markets, as well as further penetrate the ones it already serves. And with e-commerce predicted to grow 4.8% this holiday season to $221.8 billion, it stands to reason there will be plenty of returns. Never mind the rest of the year.
So I must ask the question: Are people going to pay $5 per package to make a return? At the surface, it seems like a fairly cheap convenience. I doubt I would use it, if only because there’s a UPS store only a couple of blocks from campus. It’s no big deal to swing by there. But if you live a busy life and do not have easy access to drop-off locations, then $5 may be a bargain.
There is one drawback, and that is the same as having front porch delivery in the first place: Porch pirates. It is just as possible that someone could steal your return as your delivery.
Otherwise, I see this as a win for Uber. They are working on solving a problem at the micro level. Now we need to work on the macro problem.

MSHD Episode 4 Season 3
As always, spoilers ahead!
I need to continue watching cuz dad isn't gonna watch anytime soon and I really don't want to get spoiled... more than I already have. So, let's watch!
This time I'm not watching with the English subs because I do want to make separated posts about the subs... But if you want me to check them or any particular dialogue, just let me now!
This will be my live reaction and not a rewatch! So, let's go!
Let me see if I understood correctly... After 3 episodes and probably like a week or maybe 2 weeks? A month? Both of them are already thinking of what to say to each other's families because oops, you know what? I'm not gay/into this woman? Excuse me. What?
And I see where they are going now! Not even a minute into the episode and they will have to keep pretending to be a couple or they will lose their LGBTQ+ investors... I'm.... Not even a full minute and I'm rolling my eyes...
WOW! For a hot second I forgot when Cynthia and Pablo got together! Then I remembered they're business partners with benefits....
They're not dating but they get possessive and jealous...
Ana and Mariana make a quite long(? I guess? Because I don't know how long it takes to reach there) travel by car and they don't use the air-con? RIGHT... RIGHT... But then, in the next wide-shot they windows are up... I see you editing errors, I see you! LOL
WE GOT LIKE ONE MINUTE OF THE MAIN PROTAGONISTS WTF!
Also, I feel a little bad for Victor... Like poor him, trying to make his father proud and just getting scolded by him. I feel you man, I feel you... And then he will fight with Tere, I'm seeing the future!
I still don't understand what's going on with Juan Carlos. Can someone explain me? I'm- I know maybe they doing this as a joke and so we can laugh at him a little but, it's not funny and we could cut it out and still would make sense
I feel absolutely disturbed with whatever it's going on that therapy? thing... WHY DO THEY HAVE TO DO THAT TO HIM? Is it meant to make him feel better? I would walk out deeply offended. Therapy or not, they shouldn't do that to him.
Disturbing and cheap writing and it's not even funny.
The gaslight Victor suffers, it's one very familiar. Is it a Mexican thing though?
And no, it's not a sign... and a relationship shouldn't start that way. Writers want to sell me that JC finds love after this whatever weird ass thing happened and that woman likes him because he cried?
The room that the lady gave our girls gives me war flashbacks to when my family and I used to go pass some days with relatives in quiet and really small town. We used to rent some house that was small, like it only had one room that acted as a living, dinning, bedroom, and kitchen and another that was a VERY small bathroom
Something like that, Mexican people might know around where I live now because of this lol But anyway, later on my relatives added more rooms to their house and eventually always stayed in a room very similar the lady gave them! (I miss those days)
Anyway... Don't tell me they have sex while drunk...PLEASE DON'T TELL ME... UGGHHHHH
I mean, I'm surprised Victor and Tere are the only adults these season... They communicate, they understand, they talk, they try to deal with stuff even when it's not easy.
Kudos to them!
"I like who you are. Well, what I'm getting to know about you" says that woman which name slips my mind to Juan Carlos... Errr, excuse me, you don't know him. He could be really bad for you! Never believe it! Run, JC, run! LOL
Drunk Ana is cute though.
She wants to write a romance novel, about her and Mariana. And she says it while looking at Mariana THAT way
AND THEY KISSED!!!!!!!!!LASKJDHFSJHDFJSDHFDS
AND THEY
I mean, once my sapphic/shipper heart recovered... I want to say this episode is just BAD. The only thing I can save from it is Victor and Tere. Cynthia and Pablo are just a mess too. JC jumps from woman to woman (like a person I know) while not finishing to process the break up and his failed marriage. Gives me the impression he just doesn't know how to be alone and love himself, he has to have someone to show him some love so he can move on.
And, fine! I love that my ship moved forward and kissed but I HATE THAT THEY HAD TO BE DRUNK AND AWKWARD THE DAY AFTER. If from here things changed, a little awkward but still moving towards love, fine... but if they throw me Ferran again and they go separate ways Imma flip.

Tips for shipping lithium batteries- custom crating in Fort Lauderdale
A lot of different gadgets and products can be powered by lithium batteries. That means giving your car or truck the spark it needs to start when you turn the key or press the button. These batteries have a lot of power, can be charged many times, and don't need much care. To know more, you may get in touch with Axis Logistics Services, offering services like furniture crating in Fort Lauderdale, custom crating in Fort Lauderdale and crating and packing in Fort Lauderdale. Lithium batteries can cause a lot of damage if they are not treated properly, especially when they are being shipped. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) says that danger goes up if a battery is poorly designed, made of cheap materials, or put together incorrectly. And because those flaws might not be obvious at first glance, it is very important to be very careful when you package and ship lithium batteries. How come lithium batteries are dangerous? Furniture crating in Fort Lauderdale Since lithium batteries have been around for over 25 years, you might think they are very safe. On the other hand, it looks like the push to make batteries smaller and cheaper while still storing more power has had the opposite effect. Because of this, there is still a high chance of a bad reaction happening inside a lithium battery. There is a separator in lithium batteries that stops the different parts from touching each other. If that wall is broken in any way, the wires will touch and the battery will heat up very quickly. Lithium batteries also have a liquid that can catch fire. There is a chemical process that can happen if it gets too hot. This is called thermal runaway. There are times when this leads to a fire or blast. If this happens with a battery that wasn't properly packed or handled while it was being shipped with other items, it could be very bad, not only for the damage to the other items but also for the safety of anyone nearby the battery. Laptop battery made of lithium -crating and packing in Fort Lauderdale Lithium batteries are thought to be dangerous. It is because of these reasons that the UN calls lithium batteries "Dangerous Goods, Class 9." With that sticker, the shipper is responsible for making sure that the lithium batteries are handled in a safe and correct way. To do that, you need to know how they work and work with a specialty shipping, crating, and packaging company like Craters & Freighters that knows how to handle dangerous goods safely and understands the difficulties. We are the best at packing and sending dangerous goods according to 49 CFR, IMDG, IATA, and ICAO rules, and we can take care of every part of a lithium battery shipment. Packaging, labeling, and paperwork that are approved by the UN for shipping lithium batteries When sending lithium batteries for cars or other uses, the first and most important thing to do is to put them in a container that is strong, won't break, and can catch and hold any electrolyte leakage.

I'm still pretty new to the fandom (I avoided interacting with the cars fandom for 18 years lmao) but lemme try answering this dbjshdjs
I love seeing everyone's OCs and headcanons, the amazing fanarts and fanfics, and how some people put extra effort to keep the fandoms alive
In the other hand, I dislike seeing how toxic some fans are? For example, how some cars fans would bully the planes fans for liking "cheap knockoffs", shippers who would force their ships on others, people who dislike any cars movies based on "majority's perspective", etc.
There may be other points I forgot to add but yea, that's pretty much it djdjksjdjsj
Cars/planes fans
what are something that you like and hate about the fandom

Cost Effective way to transport services in Indore
The closed Car carrier is the cheapest way to transport your vehicle in India. Closed or sharing car carrier is the best & affordable way to transport your vehicle, more thing if your car is old car then go with part loading. If your car is a brand new car then go with a single-car closed-car carrier. In Sharing closed car carrier we transport 5, 8 and 10 car at a time. we have Four Types of closed car carriers, Single Car carriers Tk5, TR8, and TR10. The Cost Effective way to ship a car, however, can also depend on what type of Car Shifting truck you will need for your specific vehicle. Are you looking to ship a car that is exotic, or perhaps is a collectible? If so, the cheapest way to ship a car like that would likely be enclosed auto transport. While more expensive than open car transport, it protects your vehicle from the elements, which is great if your car is rare or valuable.
Cheapest Way to Shift a Car:
There is no question that terminal-to-terminal auto transportation is the cheapest way to ship a car. Door-to-door car shipping is even more affordable! We would disagree, however, recommend this cheap Vehicle transport option unless it is imperative. Car shippers providing these services are often slower and less convenient than door-to-door car transport services. Still, it remains a practical way to transport vehicles, especially when you consider that almost all major cities have at least one car transport terminal where you can park your vehicle. Consequently, this means that you have to leave your car there for days or possibly even weeks to wait for your carrier.
HSR Logistics also moves a Luxury or Vintage Car:
Open car shipping services are the most economical way to ship a classic or expensive vehicle. However, shipping autos open is not the most secure method. Compared to open car movers, enclosed car movers offer far better vehicle protection. It is advised to use roll-on/roll-off auto transport services with an enclosed automobile transport trailer if you are shipping from a port.
Most consumers undoubtedly like enclosed vehicle transportation over open car carriers. Why? Simple: covered auto transporters offer their vehicle the highest level of security and weather protection. Although enclosed auto transport is roughly 60% more expensive than open auto transport, it is strongly recommended for a premium or vintage vehicles because it offers considerably greater vehicle protection.

*Long post ahead*
Okay, I’m going to go out on a limb here and just say that Byler will happen--if not in volume 2, then most definitely in season 5. I’ve been lurking in this tag for some time, specifically ever since volume one dropped, and I have seen the endless essays of pessimism and doubt that’s been bogging people down. While I share your guys’ doubts to an extent, I can’t fully bring myself to accept that Byler won’t come to fruition this season or the next. I hope my little tangent will provide you with at least some reassurance, because to be honest I’m searching for as much as I can before our hopes are either fulfilled or brutally crushed in t-minus 23 days. I’d like to preface this with saying that character/ship analysis posts are not my area of expertise, but I’ll give it the good old college try.
Alright-y. So. Season 4. There’s a lot to cover character-wise, but let’s just go right ahead and jump into the meat and potatoes of it, starting off with the dichotomy that is Mike Wheeler. According to Finn, Mike is trying to figure himself out this season, and, as we the audience know, he’s very kind of oblivious when it comes to his and other people’s feelings, and Finn also said Mike was a bit clueless. Up until this point, it seems that Mike’s character arc (vis-à-vis his relationship to El) has been flat and banal. They’re in a precarious place in their relationship right now; a fragile place. Having Mike and El repeat the same break-up-and-make-up storyline from last season is bland, and I don’t exactly see the Duffer brothers going in that direction again because it’s cheap and quite frankly a let down. This is where Byler comes into the mix. Despite the potential backlash it might face--having two main characters in a gay relationship in such a massive franchise--I do believe that it is in no way contrived, regardless of what some vociferous shippers might claim. In fact, it’s quite the opposite. The foundation for Byler has been laid since the very beginning, and if you rewatch the previous seasons you can see the evidence if you make a conscious effort to. Especially on Will’s side. And if you take into consideration the sudden wave of Byler content being churned out by Netflix social media accounts and the actors themselves (looking at you, Noah Schnapp), it becomes increasingly apparent that they are trying to warm the general audience up to the idea of Byler. Hell, I’m convinced Noah and Finn have had barely any press together because they’d be giggling and twirling their hair if the ship was so much as mentioned. Either this is some elaborate queer-baiting scheme (during pride month, too), or we’re genuinely getting Byler. But I digress. What I find particularly interesting, and what really has me convinced of the ship happening, is the amount of heart-to-hearts Byler share this season. The bedroom talk, the talk on top of the car, (and the leaked talk in Hopper’s cabin). Those talks feel emotional. Special. It feels like the dynamic of their relationship is beginning to shift, and what that entails has yet to be clarified until volume two comes out (get it? ha). It feels like it’s all building up to something, like a big reveal. But we’ll see when we get there. For now, I’ll just let the open closets next to Mike Wheeler speak for themselves.
Before going any further into my excessively long post, let’s touch more on Mil*ven. A wedge has been intentionally driven between Mike and El for the second time. It’s undeniable to shippers on both sides, although the explanations for why begin to differ from there. Mil*ven’s relationship has been somewhat tenuous this season, and arguably it was tenuous in season 3 as well. It’s a dying flame that both Mike and El are trying to rekindle, with El seemingly putting forth more effort into salvaging it than Mike. Calling into question the integrity of Mil*ven for a second time seems odd to me, unless it’s going somewhere we least expect it. Now I’ve seen speculations floating around about how Mike can’t say ‘I love you’ back because of his parents’ inability to properly show love to one another, and while I sort of buy into that I think that there’s a deeper, less-superficial spin to his reluctance to say those three words, let alone write them to his girlfriend. Throughout this season, Mike has felt suspiciously off-kilter. Odd. Sure, he’s lovey-dovey with El when they reunite at the airport, and a little bit during their time at the rollerskating rink--but then the fiasco with Angela goes down, and this is where it takes a sharp nose-dive south. Mike makes an insensitive comment during dinner about the ordeal, which hurts El who abruptly leaves the room. Later on they have their argument, and El brings up the elephant in the room: Mike’s refusal to say ‘I love you.’ Rather than say it back to her, he gives her empty answer after empty answer. Answers she doesn’t believe. He even calls her ridiculous for raising valid concerns she has, and he gets defensive. Comparing this scene and the scene with Will and Mike in the bedroom, you can see the difference in Mike’s body language and his delivery clear as day. But where did his refusal to say/write ‘I love you’ come from? This passive, aloof attitude toward their relationship? If I had to wager a guess, it’s Mike unknowingly facing identity issues. He’s conflicted, and he’s confused. His awkward exchange with Will at the airport--a far cry from their farewell hug just a few months prior. His insistence that Will and him are just friends. Friends. His curiosity and reaction to Will’s painting. Mike loves El, there is absolutely no doubt about it. Whether it is romantic or platonic is the million dollar question, and I’m leaning towards the latter. Let me say that platonic relationships are in no way beneath romantic relationships, and a lot of times they are even stronger and run viscerally deeper. For Mike and El, they started dating at a young age before they could really, truly discover themselves and what they want. They dove into it head-first; two kids head over heels for each other--the girl with superpowers and the boy who saved her. They were perfect for each other; they’ve been through hell and back together, and share a trauma bond. But as time goes on, Mike starts to slowly realize that his feelings for El have been misconstrued all along. Being Mike, he’s too damn dense to reflect on himself and continues acting as if everything is fine when in reality it’s far from it. This sounds an awful lot like someone who is struggling with newfound feelings and trying to push them down to maintain a semblance of normalcy in a life that’s been extremely hectic and traumatic.
Point of the matter is, there is a method to the Duffer brothers’ madness. Everything they do in this show is tastefully methodical and so well thought-out to the minutest detail. They planned this story since the very beginning. I seriously doubt they will pursue such a pivotal plot point only to later discard it, especially since it could benefit all three characters’ arcs in a unique way. I think they’re definitely building up to Will’s confessing to Mike, and I have a book of theories centered around that that I will keep to myself for brevity’s sake. In short: have a little more faith in this ship. You’re not delusional, and you’re not over-analyzing. You’re observing things that are supposed to be observed, and drawing conclusions that need to be drawn. I will gladly eat crow if I’m wrong, but something tells me I’m far from it.

Sniper Interview at MAGFest
So I was listening to the 2013 MAGfest Interview with John Patrick Lowrie (Part 1, Part 2, and Part 3), and I collected a whole bunch of info about the Sniper that he mentioned / did in character for. Given that Valve didn’t confirm anything he said as “canon”, take it with a grain of salt.
Doesn’t like The Bee Gees (thinks they’re an embarrassment to the country of Australia)
Likes Bangkok, Hong Kong, and Detroit in his down time for the cheap prostitutes there
Thinks the human population should be smaller, and it’s “not all it could be”
Hates coffee and every brand of it; it pisses him off, gets him nauseous, and gets him in the “right mindset” for work
Doesn’t consider himself a “happy person”, in general, and mentioned he has “down times” (he mistook the question as this instead of “down-time”, as in what he does for fun)
Had a hamster named Boom (!!!)
His father is a flower arranger and wanted him to follow behind his footsteps (said father is disappointed in him because he chose sniping)
Doesn’t call his parents often because it “doesn’t go well”
Grew up in Alice Springs, Australia (even though he apparently mails letters to his parents and addresses them to Adelaide, Australia, which is... 15 hours away by car, so. Which is it.)
His first three girlfriends were sheep (and then eaten by other people)
Had sex with the sheep??? “The best part about dating sheep is that it’s a deeper and more complex relationship then… it’s not just about sex.”
(I legit don’t know if he was joking or not, because he joked about it later — “If I had to pick between sex with a sheep and sex with an insane robot (GLaDOS), I’d go with the insane robot every time”).
Went to boarding school in Sydney (!!! Interesting)
Had a classmate named Maury who wore a blue face mask in class and was French and bullied him by giving him wedgies (It’s why he likes shooting spy, as it “makes up for something”)
Hates people who stand still, “I have to move.”
Father got him his first sniper rifle for hunting (!!!) which he modified extensively for a longer barrel and a scope… and his Dad was upset thinking he would start shooting people with it
Had a “bonding moment” in a fishing trip with his dad way up north in Australia, and a crocodile grabbed his Dad. Mundy shot the croc through the head and through his dad’s leg in a very clean shot.
He then thought his dad’s response to that was touching: “WHAT THE F*CK WERE YOU THINKING?! YOU SHOT ME IN THE BLEEDING LEG, YA WANKER!”
Hates his teammates, thinks they’re all idiots and unprofessional
He DOES like Pyro, though, because they don’t talk, and — apparently — are a poet and “a very sensitive soul”. They have “short, sweet poems about bunnies and unicorns and rainbows and Mummy.”
His favorite hat is his campaign / camping hat
His first professional kill was a man named Malcolm in Bangkok, “… and he was in business there, and his pricing structure was not where I liked, and fortunately other people didn’t like it too, and I got hired to put a hit on him.”
Apparently has respect for the opposing team’s sniper (and a deep lust??? Enjoy the Snipercest shippers) “It’s nice to see someone with such charm and such wit and such a great jawline and obvious virility and vast, vast sexual prowess and a real good eye for a deal on prostitutes. It’s just very heartwarming to see him over there, and it’s nice to have a good, qualified opponent rather than the trash and the crap that I usually face.”
Hasn’t met / heard of Saxton Hale, and thinks he’s crap. There’s only one Australian he respects, and that’s Steven Irwin (my man)
Favorite weapon is the rifle, because the grip is familiar and “almost romantic”

Problematic Hob - Slavery
I have seen people getting upset about Hob being popular even when he admitted to getting money out of the slave trade and I wanted to look into it a bit more, because I too am a Hob shipper and yes it is problematic.
Here's the deal.
Hob has been everywhere and done everything. He has amassed huge wealth and lost everything but the clothes on his back. He has starved, only not dying because Death won't take him. A mob tried to murder him because they thought he was a witch, he was massively othered from humanity and consider the damage that did to his view of the world and the people in it. He was not one of them anymore, during that time he was some different, something terrible and evil, humans hated him for it.
Then there he was a century later in his finery, finally comfortable again, when Dream called him out.
And you can see how caught out he is. Centuries of do his own thing erased the moment he mentioned the slave trade. He realises what he has done. Hob can live long enough to simply out survive anyone imprisoning him, but most people can't and he has to relearn to accept that and to accept humans as his kin once more.
Hob learns from his mistakes and sees the good in people again.
Yes, I know some people say it is unforgiveable, but if you are one of the people reading this I can pretty much guarantee you too have benefited from the slave trade. Modern slavery, it still exists, we just try to avoid thinking about it.
Anyone who eats chocolate - Nestle, they would have gone out of business if people stopped eating slave farmed cocoa, but they are still trading.
Cheap clothes - Child labour and endentured (slave) labour.
Diamond jewelry - do I have to explain that one?
Americans: food grown by trafficked South Americans, goods made by prisoners.
Brits: food grown by trafficked Europeans, at a hand car wash and none of them speak English? - there's a reason it's cheap, they aren't paid. Smoking weed? It was probably grown in an unsafe converted house by, guess who? A trafficked slave.
If life was so black and white none of us would be forgivable and we would all hate each other and ourselves.
We learn, we grow, we change. We try to do better.
Both Hob and Dream grow into better people. Part of the appeal of that is what they go through to learn those hard lessons and instead of becoming monsters they become kind.
Yes, it was wrong, yes, Hob has to atone for it, but I very much doubt he hasn't put a few lifetimes of effort into making up for the one thing that even Dream called him out on.
#we all benefit from slavery we just don't want to see it#hob gadling#the sandman#slavery#modern slavery

i got around to watching the new york special and had to quit at the dance scene. it makes me feel icky that even though marinette was in a relationship (and i'm assuming everyone knew about luka) and yet she was still being pushed to be with adrien
Here’s the thing (particularly because “Gang of Secrets” confirmed that they hadn’t known if you presume that the special takes place after Marinette got together with Luka)...
It doesn’t matter if Marinette was dating someone or not. What Alya did was wrong.
Marinette said that she needed help seeing Adrien as “just a friend,” and Alya responded by only giving Marinette the illusion of helping her (by asking Mendeleiev to move Marinette’s seat) and then trying to force the Adrienette ship in the background, unbeknownst to Marinette.
Oh, and the little detail of yelling at Marinette to chase after Adrien’s car in the rain while there’s a supervillain who could kill her. That too.
Guess she must be a good fox after all, since she’s great at manipulating and deceiving her supposed best friend.
emikogale asked:
Honestly the fact that Marinette and Adrien cannot kiss anyone else shows that they are being forced together for the narrative.
I’m just waiting for Astruc to tweet out that they’re not allowed to kiss other people. Can’t let Marinette experience how it feels to be loved by someone else, she might start thinking that she’s allowed to love other people.
Anonymous asked:
I'm glad that I'm not the only one who see Adrien "soft gaze" to marinette is just a bait and cheap fanservice. I see lot of LS-Shipper proudly show that "Its a proof that Adrien has a "thing" with Marinette" and most of those "proof" clearly nothing to do with their development -_-
" B-But Adrien save Marinette from get expelled due to Lila's lie" he only "save" her because Marinette almost get akumatize but he still be Lila friend just because she "lonely af" and Narrative never punish Adrien for being friend with Lila or give a bad advice to Marinette in "Chameleon" -_-
My rule for “soft gazes” is that it has to be earned. Basically, the ship has to be already developed to a point where it’s clear that both sides are undeniably in love with each other. Once it’s there, that’s great and I can appreciate soft gazes for what they are.
Adrienette never earned that and Adrien still refuses to just go out of his way to spend time with Marinette.

These are my... 2...? Maybe 50, cents about the whole "freejk" thing. I'm gonna be extremely petty and at some points a whole lot sarcastic and it's gonna be long but I had to say it. As soon as I get my computer I'm gonna make it under read more, but the app does whatever it wants, as we know.
Listen, this ain't my first fan rodeo, and not even the first fan rodeo where I've been directly or indirectly accused of being some sort of pervert or delulu. I've been in fandom spaces since I was a teen, I was shipping mlm couples when queerbaiting in TV shows was still something that was seen as the norm rather than some cheap disgusting trick. I was there when fanfic spaces saw "slash" fics as something "different" and to be tagged with a more mature rating even when they just looked at each other.
I was in BBC's Sherlock's fandom and I shipped Johnlock during the hiatus between S3 and S4, at this point I'm not even feeling it when people call me delulu or a weirdo.
So, yeah, take this with a grain of salt: as a person who has seen thousands of times fandom drama unfolding and has lived too much of it... This whole situation is so ridiculous it makes me laugh. Like, yeah, it's maddening how people will blame anyone and everyone because they don't even see their own bias and homophobia, granted, but like... It also makes me laugh for the sheer dumbassery of the reasoning behind it all?
Like... Y'all are getting mad and for what? Because it sure as hell isn't the invasion of privacy, since y'all are watching the same content we're all watching and you're paying to see it the same way everyone else is. If you don't want to "invade their privacy", you should just... Stop watching content that isn't their music videos, RUN episodes or interviews. Memories and any kind of dvd/video that shows what they're doing behind the scenes shouldn't be part of their job as musicians, and therefore we're intruding in their privacy... Or aren't we?
Or maybe it's more nuanced than that: maybe the content they release on dvd/on their official channels is part of their job as entertainers, and it's been approved, and it's a small window THEY are granting us.
You know what's the REAL invasion of privacy and what REALLY invalidates someone autonomy? When you, who maybe aren't even paying to see that content (which is something I understand, like, dude, I'm not covered in money either), DEMAND what kind of behind the scenes content you want when I swear ABSOLUTELY NO ONE has asked you. Once again: you don't like it? You think it's some huge invasion of privacy? Don't buy it. Don't interact with it. Convince your friends to do the same. For all I care, just go and petition to boycott this kind of content. I know you won't do it, because... That's the thing, isn't it? It's not the invasion of privacy that bothers these people.
Y'all aren't mad because we get into their business or else you would have gotten real mad when we were privy to REAL private moments like people crying their hearts out.
No, no. Y'all are mad because it's "shipping content" and "fanservice" which apparently bothers you because it lacks authenticity.
Pick a side, lovelies: either you DON'T want to invade their privacy, and thus all the content they release should be focused on what fans want to see, or you WANT to know how they interact TRULY in private.
And here's the catch: "shipping content" can be anything. Shipping existed WAAAAAYYY before the word for it was invented, same way with fanfictions. Shipping means, literally, "seeing two (or more) people interact and thinking they would make a good romantic pair". That's it. That's quite literally it. Everything else is just some nuance of the concept of shipping, but at its core, it's nearly impossible to ban all shipping content when it's a group of seven people, because they should for real go in social distancing mode to do so. Most people who have parasocial relationships tend to have "ships" whether they know it or not, because we've all, at least once, looked at a dynamic from the outside and thought "oh man they look cute together". So, even if, o dear ones, your wishes were granted... What the hell do you mean by "shipping" content? Should they just film solo clips, avoiding talking about the other members? But wouldn't that be fanservice, since it's focused on pleasing the fans? (Which, ultimately, is what fanservice MEANS, and I hate to break it to y'all but the whole concept behind entertainment and thus all the content BTS releases it's... For the fans. Like, they're not going out of their way to just meet our expectations but they're certainly doing fanservice by the mere act of releasing bonus content.)
But it's not even quite that, is it? Because no one bats an eye if it's Tae kissing Nj's cheek. I've seen no hashtag against everyone - and I mean literally every one of them - wolf whistling at Nj. It's okay to show intimacy... Because they're bandmates and it's okay to be close to someone who you see basically 24/7, I hear you. And it's also okay when people see that and gush over that closeness, because it's such a nice thing to see.
Soooooo... We've got to free JK from whom exactly? From what?
Are y'all mad cause people pointed out there's very little way a bruise that stayed for a whole ass night could be a quick bite? Because that doesn't harm jk, at most makes fun of him and jimin and their poor excuses (seriously, guys, next time consider using mosquitoes or "I was doing stuff". It'll be equally embarrassing but at least the meme will be funny), and it's literally... A fair observation. Like. It's a hickey, people are gonna make jokes about seeing a hickey and poor excuses of covering it up in the exact same way they're gonna make jokes over jimin falling out of chairs. And yeah, a hickey is AT LEAST something that happens in a sensual context. Like, I could understand "people who are extremely familiar with each other will have different body language/touch in areas where usually you wouldn't see friends touching each other", but that's not. Not a hand on the thigh. It's a hickey on the neck. I don't even know a more stereotypical placing for a hickey. But once again, are y'all mad because someone is pointing it out? Because that's not being delulu or even being a shipper, really, it's just commenting on something that was approved to be shown and discussed in something that was released BY THEM.
Are y'all mad at hybe for showing something that literally fell onto their hands? Cause like, unless someone (I'm counting on Jimin, since as we know Jungkook was busy spinning him round and round and had both his hands busy) called at hybe headquarters to say "yo bang pd substitute, is it okay if I give my friend jk here a hickey? Cause he's being really annoying rn and he has to pay", I highly doubt anyone expected Jungkook to come to rehearsal all neatly marked up. Or idk, maybe someone at hybe asked them "we need Jungkook to come in with a hickey but refuse to say it's a hickey, so that fans will feel reeeeally served." That sounds perfectly plausible too. Or a good marketing strategy.
Now, if you're a big company and your objective is to have some footage of the rehearsals for a concert, and the fandom is too good at noticing stuff for their own good, and one of your artists comes in with a very visible mark, and he and his bff bropal4lyfe come n with a story about how they were playing and a bite happened, you've got three choices: 1. Cut the artist out of aaaaalll the footage. Someone would have noticed the "bite mark" anyway, you best believe that. If you don't want anyone to notice it, you gotta cut him in most of the footage where it's visible. 2. Keep the hickey, discard the explanations. You could do that, but also it would feel a lot more unfaithful to everyone involved. Also they clearly worked their ass off to invent an explanation, come on! They truly tried to do their best inventing something that was not "it's a mosquito bite", they should get some credit! 3. Keep the bite, keep the explanation.
Notice how none of these solutions include the biting never happening because... They couldn't prevent it? The only thing they have any control over is how they're framing each "accident". And that's not an easy job.
I applaud you, people on the editing team.
So... On whom should we cast the blame now? Ah, yes, I think it's finally time for the ultimate scapegoat of this fandom: Jimin. Which is funny, cause... You know... If this were really about privacy, or being "victims" of shipping... This should be about freeing him too, you know? But obviously Jimin does it for attention, while Jungkook, poor angel that he is, doesn't even know what shipping is.
Furthermore, don't we all know how much Jimin imposes himself in Jungkook's life? To the point where he, multimillionaire man feels compelled to share a car with Jimin even if they're both late in the process. And can't you see how uncomfortable he is, draping himself over Jimin, making Jimin drap himself over him?
Oh lordy, truly such an awful eight years Jungkook spent, choosing to have vacations with someone who made him uncomfortable, spending free time with him, even having to suck his ear in public to the point you can see his saliva just because Jimin was sad :( truly an all-around bad time for Jungkook, as evidenced by alllll those times when he said Jimin was pretty, cute, and all-around knowing every little thing about Jimin. I absolutely concur, the dude would be so much more happy if jimin was not in his life.
Did that sound weird and absolutely ridiculous and a really absurd joke? Because that's what y'all sound like to me. Like. Jungkook is out there living his best life, getting hickeys and showered in affection and y'all paint him as a fucking martyr??? I'm sure he's really truly desperate that Jimin holds him in such high regards 😭😭😭 I can see him suffering whenever he starts doing his own serendipity rendition 😭😭 and when he claimed you are me, I am you as his and Jimin's only 😭😭😭 I cannot believe this poor baby 😭😭😭
I've reached a point where every time I hear this stuff I laugh because the levels of twisting reality when it comes to jikook are extraordinary, Jungkook will have a literally blissed out face and people will cry in outrage.
But coming back to my point: let's pretend you're not mad at Jimin and the possibility that jikook are dating: are y'all mad... At the hickey? Because at this point it seems like the only feasible solution. And if you are, do not worry: I'm sure Jungkook's skin was throughly healed by his boo. A kiss soothes even the worst pain, doesn't it?

I am still very new to this website and I don’t know how link a post but this fic is based on a post by @sandersgrey
(If someone reading this knows how to link a post please either explain it to me or link it in the comments because that post is *amazing*)
“Hmmm,” said Tessa, depositing Mina into Kit’s waiting arms and examining her buzzing phone critically. She shot a quizzical look in his direction.
Jem looked up from his novel. “What is ‘hmmm’, my love?”
Kit mimed vomiting but stopped dead in his tracks when she replied, “it’s Astrid’s mother. You remember her from parent teacher night, don’t you, my darling?” Kit swears they were being extra insufferable just to mess with him but he didn’t have the time to be annoyed when Astrid’s. Mom. Was. Calling. Tessa.
To understand why Kit was panicking as much as he was, you must know that Astrid’s mom was incredibly chill. She never got mad. The worst punishment she’d ever given her daughter was taking away her iPod for a week so she couldn’t listen to Mitski.
Was she calling about last night when Astrid, Mari and Kit threw eggs at the Shadowhunter’s that were giving Mari’s pack a hard time for no reason? No, that couldn’t be it. She’d given them the eggs.
Could the call be about the day before yesterday when Kit and Astrid got distracted doing homework and ended up snapping the coffee table clean in half while battling gladiator style with pool noodles? No, that wasn’t it. She’d just handed Astrid a twenty and told them to go to Kevin’s parents' shop and get a new one. Was she pissed because they ended up spending the money on ice cream instead? No, they ended up finding a table for free in the rubbing bin outside a fancy hotel.
Kit clutched his sister to his chest and prepared for the worst.
“Seo-yoon! What can I do for- Oh, hello Astrid!” Tessa paused briefly, presumably to listen to Astrid speak, and Kit sighed in relief.
“Kit is occupied at the moment but I can relay the message.” Another pause. “Oh don’t be frightened of me. I’m a tots rad mom. Your secret is safe with me.” Kit felt his face flush red as he heard his best friend’s laughter echo across the living room. “Okay! I’ll let him know. He has to get Mina to sleep before he can leave though. Lord knows he’s the only one who can these days.” Tessa chuckled at something Astrid said before wishing her good luck in her endeavour and ending the call.
She turned her attention back to Kit. “Astrid needs your help breaking into your teacher’s home to retrieve her cell phone.”
Kit blinked at her, dumbfounded. “You aren’t mad I’m going to go break the law?”
Because of course he was doing it. Astrid’s dad had bought it for her and he was extremely cautious about money. That was one of three things Kit knew about her dad. He was cheap, he lived in America and he loved the movie Fight Club.
Tessa ruffled Kit’s hair affectionately. “Please. I’ve raised two other Herondales. At least I know about this particular adventure beforehand.”
Mina began snoring softly and Kit handed her back to her mother. He grabbed his bag and started his journey to the door when Tessa added, “she also told me to say hi to a ‘daddy Kit’. Are you ‘daddy Kit?’”
‘Daddy Kit’ closed his eyes and wished for the sweet release of death.
“Why is Kit a daddy,” Jem asked, genuinely confused. “Aren’t I the daddy?”
Kit swung the door open so fast not even a speed rune could have aided him. But not before I heard Tessa reply, “Lily Chen certainly thinks so.”
Mrs. MacNamara clapped her hands together. “Why don’t we all go around and say a few things about ourselves?”
Kit buried his face into his hands. He’d been relieved when no other teacher had fulfilled the Disney channel stereotype of making every student introduce themselves to the new kid. But Mrs. MacNamara didn’t even seem to realize what she was doing.
All Kit’s fellow classmates groan. Expect one. Her hand shot up immediately. She was short, like smaller than Clary short. She wore a baggy pink shirt with the words ‘Queen Glimmer of Etheria’ sewed on with purple sequins and tight black jeans. Her colourful, choppy hair was in a low ponytail and she flew a few strands out of her eyes as her hand wiggled in the hair.
Mrs. MacNamara pointed at her. She stood up and smiled at Kit. “Hi. My name is Astrid. My hobbies include making my little cousin’s girl Barbies kiss, as it should be, and watching television shows where everyone is a terrible person so you can love all of them!”
“And what shows might that be?” asked Kit, already in the process of pulling out his phone and opening the Notes app.
“Grey’s Anatomy, Glee, Grey’s Anatomy again because it’s seventeen seasons as of right now. And to be fair it practically became a different show when they killed off Mark Sloan.”
“That’s enough, Miss Yang,” said Mrs. MacNamara. Astrid sat down and winked at Kit. Then she took out her phone and airdropped him a complete list of all her favorite shows, along with her number.
After Blessica’s pre-birthday birthday party, they went to Cirenworth and stayed up till four A.M. binging them.
They met outside a queer dry bar called Aries Not Welcome, the unspoken gathering place of the Merry Hoes. It was run by a poly lesbian couple in their mid-thirties. Quinn, Sydney and Aliyah may not have served alcohol but at least they were open 24/7.
“Did you bring the shit?”
Kit gave her a look. “The shit? How conclusive.”
“Shut up. You know, the shadowhunter thing.”
“The shadowhunter thing?”
“The, the, the glow stick that you draw with.”
“The glow stick that I draw wi-“ Kit closed his eyes briefly. “Do you mean a stele?”
Astrid snapped her fingers. “That’s it!” Kit shook his head in exasperation, smiling fondly. “I borrowed a torch from Quinn, let’s move.”
“Should I be worried that you know where Mr. Smith lives?” questioned Kit as he followed Astrid’s lead through the park.
“Should I be worried that your mom was fine with us breaking and entering?” she shot back playfully. Kit pushed Astrid and she fell off the path, laughing all the way.
“You called me ‘daddy’ to my mom’s face.”
She just laughed harder, slinging her arm around Kit’s shoulder. “It was over the phone, Christopher. And as I should.”
“Pffffttt. Why did you get your phone taken anyway?” She put her hands into her jumper pocket and looked at the ground. “Astrid.” She remained silent. “Astrid?”
She mumbled something under her breath. “What?” asked Kit.
“I WAS READING NINEJ FANFICTION!” she shouted.
Kit gasped. “I thought you were a die hard Kanej shipper,” he whispered.
“I’m a multishipper, okay?!” she replied, equally quiet.
“Does Blessica know?”
She shook her head. “And she will never find out.”
Kit saw the opportunity and he seized it. “She’ll never find out as long as you never call me daddy in front of either of my parents.”
She removed her arm from his shoulder and guided them out of the park, in the direction of the many apartments that lined this side of town. “I hate you.”
“Well, so does Mari. You're not special, Ast.”
She rolled her eyes. “You know Mari doesn’t actually hate you, right?! They’re just still in the enemy phase of your enemies-to-lovers romance. She only dislikes you because they feel something for you but they don’t know what so she interrupts it as loathing. In reality, her inner soul knows you’re hot and shmexie.”
Kit didn’t know how to process this so he just nodded and follow Astrid in silence to Mr. Smith’s house. (Plus, he was kinda glad that, according to his best friend, he had a little more time for Mari to ‘discover their true feelings’. If Kit screwed this up, he was out of countries to run off to.)
“Oh you have got to be fucking kidding me.”
“What,” asked Kit, turning around to face Astrid and closing the drawer he was rifling through. “Did you find your phone?”
“Yeah. But I also found Blessica’s. She was Snapping Kevin. Platonic my ass. But he took the fucking trans flag out of her phone!”
Kit snatched Blessica’s phone out of her hand to examine it for herself. She was telling the truth. Where the glitter pride flag usually rested was just a clear purple case. Kit couldn’t believe his eyes.
“It’s one thing to misgender her every day.” Blessica had forced all four of the other Merry Hoes to sign a contract saying they wouldn’t do anything to harm him because of it. “But this is the last straw. You know what we have to do.” Oops.
“Yeah, but we don’t have any spray paint.”
Kit eyed Mr. Smith’s pink sofa, blue bar stool covers and white picture frames. “I think I have something better in mind.”
It would have been easier for both parties to just zip off the sofa cushions and tape them to the wall but by ripping them off in strips, they ensured he would have to buy new ones. And judging by the car he drove and the fiji water in his fridge, Mr. Smith could definitely afford it.
That reminded him, “I’ll finish up with this. Go put all his fiji water into my bag.” Astrid saluted him and ran off. “Wait.” She stopped and looked at him. “Steal all the remotes you can find.”
“How is he not awake?,” asked Astrid as they ripped the fabric of his seating from the stool.
He shrugged. “Don’t question it.” He shoved the bundle of cloth into her arms. “Glue this above the pink. I’ll handle the frames.”
“Say the magic word,” she sang.
“Please?”
“No. Lesbian. Come on, I thought you knew me better than that.”
Kit laughed quietly. “Can you lesbian glue this above the pink?”
She grinned at Kit. “It would be my pleasure.”
