SJKLFDSJLDK It is my most humble pleasure! All your art is nectar and ambrosia to the eyes, but that Snowbaird portrait...I'd make it a mural and a national landmark if I could!

I would love to praise your composition details, if I knew the first thing about art 😆 Unfortunately I've tried to do that in the past with others, and only ended up dreadfully embarrassing myself 🤡 I will leave that to your actually talented and knowledgeable fans 🤭 Just please know even an untrained eye like mine can get lost in its endless beauty all the same!

It really is strangely perfect timing for me, because I am FINALLY gonna get to read TBOSAS after nearly 3 months of waiting 😭 Your art is the perfect hype piece for me there, on top of everything else.

@charlunday made my dreams come true taking on this commission for Katniss and Peeta as Orpheus and Eurydice from Hadestown, based on my Hunger Games-Hadestown AU fic, a lover's desire is mutiny.

I love this so much and am going to be staring at it forever. Charlie's dedication to the canon descriptions of these two, the details in the costuming from the show (including the mockingjay feather at the end of Katniss's braid!), the lighting, the dandelion at the center of it all. It makes my heart SO happy!

I'm going to start working on Apothecary Bakery:

“It was just bread, Katniss.” Peeta listened, not moving.

She was surprised he thought it wasn’t enough. “My  mother and I were starving, and I knew that if I didn’t bring something home my sister wouldn’t make it. That bread meant the world to me Peeeta.”  

“I didn’t know.” He lay back, his eyes gazing up at the ceiling. 

She leaned over him, wanting to grant him a special boon. “Would you like for me to sing you to sleep?” 

“You’d sing for me?”

“Only for you,” she whispered, her heart pounding in her chest.

He smiled beautifully. “Thank you.”
