Here are some miscellaneous sketches I drew and took a photo of the same time as the animatic concept arts. But took me a while to post because of writing the image descriptions. I hope you like them!

Image Descriptions:

Image 1: Is of Desmond Sycamore from the Professor Layton Series. It is a side profile styled shot from head to shoulders. He is looking to our left with a surprised expression. He has his red rectagular glasses on and is wearing his signature double breasted waist coat, tie and white button-up shirt.

Image 2: Is also of Desmond, but in a 3/4's angle facing to our right slightly downturned. It is also head to shoulders since it's easier to draw and is good for simple expression practices. He has a bit of a confused pout on his face. He's wearing his rectangular glasses but a dark button-up shirt.

Image 3: Is of Desmond as Howl. As a sort of fun Howl's moving castle au. It depicts him in the scene after he first returns in his semi-bird form. Its a 3/4's shot with his head up as he reclines in his chair. He has a slight discomforted expression and has feathers in his hair and from his face. He is turned to our right and has a small window in the background about the same size of his head to the right of his face.

Image 4: Is of Meier Link and Charlotte from Vampire Hunter D Bloodlust (the movie). It has Meier and Charlotte facing eachother. Head to shoulders (for Meier more of a head to lower bicep due to his height), side profile. Meier is facing her to our right while she faces him turned to the left. Both looking into eachothers eyes with a fond, soft expression.

Image 5: Is of D from Vampire Hunter D. He is drawn in a 3/4’s angle looking to our left. From a head to shoulders shot. He has a neutral if not discontented expression. In his big brimmed hat and armour.

Image 6: Is of Lü Shang from Dislyte. He is also in a 3/4’s shot turned to our left and is drawn from head to shoulders. He is smiling warmly and kindly and giving the viewer a wave with his right hand.

Image 7: Is of Anton Herzen from Professor Layton. It is based on his introduction in the game. He is drawn in a 3/4's angle, head to shoulders shot. With a light smirk looking to the viewer. He is turned to our left and has the moon looming behind him.

Image 8: Is of Anton and Sophie from Professor Layton. You can tell I was in a bit of a Pandora's/Diabolical box kick since its October. But in this shot it was based on the scene Anton and Sophie were dancing. They are looking into eachothers eyes with warm smiles in a side profile. And is from head to waist. Sophie is on our left and Anton is on the right. Her hand rests on his shoulder while Anton has his on her side.

Image 9: And final, Hayden from Fields of Mistria. He is drawn from head to lower hip and is based on his game sprite. He like the other sprite redraws are in a 3/4 and is facing to our right. He has his usual welcoming smile and is giving the viewer a slight wave with his left hand and the other is tucked a bit under his belt hook.

Bonus little facts:

I drew some characters from The Vampire Hunter D movie because I'm planning to rewatch it again for Halloween this year. The style is just really pretty and unique. And has become sort of a tradition in these past three years.

I got a while back Lü Shang in Dislyte since i casually play it and really was interested in his story and quest in the game. Just a really nice character. I only got him after saving enough of those crystals when you get repeats or 5 stars.

I might try to edit an edit of Pandora's/Diabolical Box for Halloween, after rewatching the cutscenes. I also might draw more sketches but I can't make any promises. Little extra fact this is one of the three Professor Layton games (Curious Village, Pandora's/Diabolic Box and Last Spectre/Spectre's call.)

As for what made me ship it, I am not really sure. I had just finished playing ALBW and I was almost immediately thinking about finding some fluffy fics for them XD. I suppose in game dynamics would be the best explanation

I do like the headcanon that Link cannot cook to save his life, but Ravio is a phenomenal chef. Not sure if that's an unpopular take tho

Jane Mallory Birkin (14 December 1946 – 16 July 2023)

Jane Mallory Birkin was born in London in December 1946, daughter of British actress Judy Campbell and Royal Navy commander David Birkin.

She had lived in her adopted France since the late 1960s and apart from her singing and roles in dozens of films, she was a popular figure for her warm nature, stalwart fight for women's and LGBT rights.

She first took to the stage aged 17 and went on to appear in the 1965 musical "Passion Flower Hotel" by conductor and composer John Barry, whom she married shortly after. The marriage ended in the late 1960s.

Before venturing across the Channel aged 22, she achieved notoriety in the controversial 1966 Michelangelo Antonioni film "Blow-Up", appearing naked in a threesome sex scene.

But it was in France that she truly shot to fame, as much for her love affair with tormented national star Gainsbourg, as for her tomboyish style and endearing British accent when speaking French.

It was on the set of the film "Slogan" in 1969 that Birkin first met Gainsbourg, who was recovering from a break-up with Brigitte Bardot, and the two quickly began a love affair that captivated the nation.

That same year they released "Je T'Aime... Moi Non Plus" ("I Love You... Me Neither"), a song about physical love originally written for Bardot in which Gainsbourg's explicit lyrics are punctuated with breathy moans and cries from Birkin.

The song was banned by the BBC and condemned by the Vatican.

Following the breakup of that relationship in 1981, she continued her career as a singer and actress, appearing on stage and releasing albums such as "Baby Alone in Babylone" in 1983, and "Amour des Feintes" in 1990, both with words and music by Gainsbourg.

Gainsbourg's drinking eventually got the better of the relationship, and Birkin left him in 1981 to live with film director Jacques Doillon. However she remained close to the troubled singer until his death in March 1991.

It was around this time that she inspired the famous Birkin bag by French luxury house Hermes, after chief executive Jean-Louis Dumas saw her struggling with her straw bag on a flight to London, spilling the contents over the floor.

She wrote her own album "Arabesque" in 2002, and in 2009 released a collection of live recordings, "Jane at the Palace".

She is survived by two daughters the singer and actress Charlotte, born in 1971, and Lou Doillon, also an actress, born in 1982. She also had a daughter, Kate, who was born in 1967 and died in 2013.

February (2023)

A good month over all, I spent half of it travelling abroad and still managed to come across good things with the time that I had. 

I saw 5 movies this month, finished reading 2 books (I’m currently reading 7 and I’m listening to a radioplay).   I just noticed that I have yet to go to the cinema this year, but I want to fix that as soon as possible.

Ghost World (2001) - I somehow missed out on this film while growing up, I do get why it wasnt so easily available, there’s some difficult subjects in there, but I think my teenage self would have found something important here. And I miss Thora Birch 

Tuesday (2015) - “Aftersun” Charlotte Wells is just as brilliant in a ten-minute short and I don't know why I'm surprised.

Apollo: Missions to the Moon (2019) -  I like all things space and I love documentaries, and even the whole moon race thing, but this was not a great one.

Where the Crawdads Sing (2022) - I like Daisy Edgar-Jones a lot and she deserved better than this film that just slowly goes nowhere. 

Unpregnant (2020) -  Two girls who used to be close friends reconnect on a road trip where the goal is an abortion. It's not your usual coming-of-age story but it's an important one that needs to be represented just as much as anything else. Haley and Barbie do a great job of having enough chemistry to carry us on this emotional but also fun-crazy-political ride.

Dial A for Aunties by   Jesse Q. Sutanto - I have a feeling that some books from the romance contemporary genre are writen as if people are expecting it to become a rom-com movie. Some of the plot is clearly meant to be watched, not read, and it makes it boring, which was really sad in this since the first 100 pages are really interesting and different from the usual. 

Twelfth Night -  William Shakespeare - I have been following an youtuber Shakespeare challenge and now that we are almost over I don’t think I want to keep it up, it’s been fun, specially when so many plot points are easily reconizable from inumerals references in every media ever since, but it’s also been a while since I was hooked by one of his plays, peharps the best is behind us now.

I finished What We do In The Shadows - season 04, it was absolutely perfect, not a single episode out of place, it left me wanting more and I love that they always manage to keep the plot in focus and move the story fowards.

I’m still halfway through Andor, I’m moving slow, it’s an universe I love and I like that it’s more serious and complex than anything else in Star Wars but I’m having a hard time focusing on it.

Doom Patrol is another one I’m moving slowly, still 6 more episodes until the end of the 1st season, and I’m truly enjoying it, the characters, the crazy plots and this universe that is so funny sometimes that I can’t believe this is not bigger.

Turnstile - Glow On has been a favorite this month, they didn’t win a Grammy but they were my favorite out of all the nominees this year.

no but it's about a little girl in a wheelchair looking at her older sister dancing and twirling in a way she'll never be able to and kicking and screaming throwing a fit because it's so unfair and she can't accept it. and it's about an older sister who's been a dancer for years looking at her little sister who's been in a wheelchair for just as long and saying i have to help you dance I HAVE to nothing can stop me I can't NOT there's no WAY I cannot. and pulling one of her legs from the footrest. and the little sister confused but staying to sense something pulling her other leg from its resting place. and that older sister dressed in her full performance dress, physically pulling her from the wheelchair and holding her in her lap like she's the ONLY thing that matters because she IS. and placing the little sister's legs over her own, lining up their feet, like some kind of ritual, some kind of transfer, and then helping her stand. little weakened legs holding their own for the first time in a long time. the little girl only just starting to understand. the older one drawing back and letting her find her balance and find her way. reaching out to draw her into her arms again. the little sister taking tiniest of steps toward her, hands held out to grab on for balance. falling into her arms again and again and then RUNNING into them. the older sister showing her dance steps. dancing together the way they never thought they'd be able to. the older sister supporting the little one when she stumbles or weakens again in a way that they make into a part of their dance. nothing could keep them from this. after years of watching each other in joy and in suffering they've finally met in the middle. sometimes you get so close to someone you end up on the other side of them. the older sister, a leading lady, seeing her little sister stumble and fall back into despair and physically pulling her up, holding her like she's everything precious, onto center stage, then slipping away into her own part of the dance but in the background, one arm still stretched out to her little sister who never thought she would dance or perform, casting the spotlight on her and still, in some metaphorical way, holding her up. and that little girl raising her arms into the light as her sister stands beside her. because not even wild horses could drag her away.

Lucifer Morningstar x F!Reader

[a/n: Lucifer and Y/n, are Charlie’s parents]

Her pregnancy cravings taking over once again. She bit her lip nervously, as she turned towards her husband, who laid fast asleep beside her. She reached out towards him,“Lu?” whispered [Y/n], as she gently nudged him.

“Is something wrong?” He asked, half asleep. “Can you bring me some strawberries?” She asked, and he looked at her and smiled.

Despite him being tired, his queen needed sustenance. “Anything for my queen.” He said, summoning his pajamas onto his body.

Teleporting himself downstairs, opening the icebox searching for the strawberries in the kitchen. He yawned, with tired eyes as he washed off fruit. Before teleporting, back up into their shared bedroom.

He smiled, seeing his wife rubbing her pregnant belly. He crawled into bed, handing her the strawberries not before planting a kiss on her stomach. She hummed, in response and ran her fingers through his hair. “I wonder if they���re going to be a girl?” She said, curiously and Lucifer rested his head on her stomach.

Lucifer smiled, “If so, I think Charlotte ‘Charlie’ will be a perfect name.” He said, and she smiled humming in agreement. She then started to eat her strawberries. Lucifer couldn’t help but smile, as his wife treated the fruits as if they were the most. Delicious thing she’s ever eaten.

“No wonder I like strawberries so much,” said Charlie, as she looks at both her mother and father. Lucifer sits down on the couch beside his wife, handing her another carton of strawberries her third today. “Your mother caused a shortage of strawberries, while she was pregnant with you.” He said, chuckling causing the mother to blush.

“I-I did not!“ she exclaimed, embarrassed.
