Oasis festival reveals the final wave of acts confirmed for 2017, completing a world-class music line-up bound for luxury music resort The Source in Marrakech from 14-17 September. New additions include back-to-back sessions from Jackmaster B2B Axel Boman and Joy Orbison B2B Kornél Kovács, plus DJ sets from Modeselektor, Tijana T, Driss Skali and more. With acts including Richie Hawtin, Maceo Plex, Nicolas Jaar, Charlotte de Witte, Solomun, Marcel Dettmann, Dr. Rubinstein, KiNK, Willow and Daniel Avery also on the bill, the festival’s third edition is set to be the biggest to date.
There are not many festivals in the world where you can ride a camel in the desert by day and dance beneath the stars by night, soundtracked by the biggest stars of the electronic music scene. Founded in 2015, Oasis has put North Africa firmly on the map as the must-visit festival destination of the moment. Nestled on the outskirts of the bustling city of Marrakech, the festival continues to showcase the finest international talent, as well as shining the spotlight on the flourishing Moroccan electronic music scene. The complete line-up and day-by-day schedule are revealed today. This year, for the first time, the festival adds an extra day with an official Opening Party on Thursday 14th September, where Solomunwill make his first ever appearance in Morocco! Ibiza’s leading man will be joined by Morocco’s underground ambassador Amine K,  Diynamic mainstay Karmon, and Kenny Glasgow B2B My Favorite Robot.
Day 1 of Oasis festival on Friday 15th September brings headline shows from two of techno’s biggest players, pioneering electronic artist and technological innovator Richie Hawtin and Berghain resident Marcel Dettmann. Hardware maestros KiNK, Karenn and Harvey Sutherland will all perform live, plus there’s back-to-back sessions from the newly-announced Joy Orbison B2B Kornél Kovács and Dolan Bergin B2B Move D. Completing the line-up for Day 1 are Willow, Young Marco , Mike Servito, Jaza, HAAi and Thris Tian.
As revealed today, German electronic duo Modeselektor will make their Oasis debut with a DJ set, co-headlining Saturday 16th September alongside Ellum label founder and Ibiza favourite Maceo Plex. The same day brings techno flavours from Berlin, Brussels, London and Detroit with Shed, Dr. Rubinstein, Charlotte de Witte, Daniel Avery, Call Super and DJ Stingray. Dial regular Pantha du Prince and analog protagonists Agents Of Time will both perform live, plus there’s music from Alex Niggemann b2b Amine K, Chloé B2B Ivan Smagghe, Driss Skali, Fassi and Matt Medved.
On Sunday 17th September, Chilean-American musician Nicolas Jaar will bring his captivating live show to Oasis, plus Glasgow and Stockholm’s finest unite as Jackmaster and Axel Boman join forces for a back-to-back special. Henrik Schwarz & Jesse Rose present their emotive collaborative project Black Rose, Italian multi-instrumentalist Giorgia Angiuli will perform live, plus there’s music from the Moroccan dance scene’s founding father Unes, Detroit selector Marcellus Pittman, rising star Tijana T,eclectic selector Auntie Flo and My Love Is Underground founder Jeremy Underground. Finally, topping off an impressive weekend of music are Anja Schneider, Artunique, Mar1, Matthias Meyer B2B Patlac, Patrice Bäumel and Polyswitch.
Located in between the Sahara Desert and the Mediterranean, Oasis Festival can guarantee a gorgeous climate with days lounging by the pool and evenings under the stars. New for 2017 is The Secret Garden, a Wellness lounge complete with open-air yoga and meditation sessions, massage, shaded relaxation areas and a champagne bar.   DJ Stingray has been an innovative force in the world of Detroit techno for over twenty years. Through his unconventional techno offerings, the balaclava-clad DJ has captured the attention of alternative audiences worldwide. As a blanket of darkness envelops the Atlas Mountains that backdrop the festival, his distinctive high tempo, high impact sound will set the tone, making for an intense and electric atmosphere at Oasis 2017.
Underground techno specialist Call Super also makes the journey to North Africa for Oasis festival this September. The British producer recently dropped his Fabric 92 mix to a stellar reaction from fans and media alike, with Resident Advisor slating him as “one of the most striking artists in electronic music right now” and Pitchfork praising his “spellbinding selections.”
Performing live at Oasis are Dial regular Pantha Du Prince, analog protagonists Agents Of Time and Italian multi-instrumentalist Giorgia Angiuli. Plus, Made to Play label head Jesse Rose will join previously announced German producer Henrik Schwarz as they bring their emotive collaborative project Black Rose to the main stage.
Manchester DJ and producer Willow also stars. Since 2015 breakthrough track “Feel Me”, the wax-loving selector has been marked out as one of the most unique talents on the house scene, not least by supporter and house heavyweight Move D who also makes an appearance at this year’s Oasis, joined in a B2B set by Electric Minds’ Dolan Bergin. Other notable B2B sessions announced today include Chloé b2b Ivan Smagghe and Alex Niggemann b2b Amine K.
Shed will make his Oasis debut this September. The Hard Wax and Ostgut man is one of techno’s most respected producers, with latest LP ‘The Final Experiment’, released through Modeselektor’s Monkeytown label, receiving wide-acclaim. Fellow Berlin techno selector Dr. Rubinstein also joins the bill, along with rising star of the London scene, HAAi.

Oasis Festival 2017 announced today the third wave of artists who will be joining an already stellar lineup. Oasis will be returning to The Source music resort in Marrakech, Morocco for its third edition this September 14 – 17.
The artists revealed today include Agents Of Time [live], Black Rose aka Jesse Rose and Henrik Schwarz, Call Super, DJ Stingray, Dr. Rubinstein, Pantha du Prince [live], Shed, Willow, Chloé b2b Ivan Smagghe, Alex Niggemann b2b Amine K, HAAi plus more. As EDM Life reported in March, artists already on the bill include Richie Hawtin, Maceo Plex, Nicolas Jaar, Marcel Dettmann, Anja Schneider, Moodymann, KiNK, and Charlotte de Witte.

The second wave of acts were just revealed, with headline guests including dance music pioneer Richie Hawtin and multi-instrumental producer Nicolas Jaar, along with Henrik Schwarz, Marcellus Pittman, Daniel Avery, Anja Schneider, Unes and more!
The Lineup
Making his Oasis debut with a headline performance on Friday, September 15th is Richie Hawtin. The pioneering electronic artist and technological innovator has been a leading figure on the global electronic music scene since the turn of the ’90s. Over the course of his illustrious career, he has founded seminal labels Plus 8 Records and M_nus, produced groundbreaking musical works as Richie Hawtin and Plastikman, and toured the globe with his cutting-edge shows and event concepts like ENTER. and CONTAKT.
Also confirmed to take the stage at The Source are Henrik Schwarz, Detroit selector Marcellus Pittman, Mobilee mainstay Anja Schneider, London-based producer Daniel Avery, and one-third of Stockholm’s influential Studio Barnhus crew, Kornél Kovács. Morocco’s local talent will be showcased as well, confirming the Moroccan dance scene’s founding father Unes and Moroko Loko resident and rising star Jaza. Completing the phase two lineup announcement are Artunique, Harvey Sutherland (live), Mar1, Matthias Meyer B2B Patlac and Patrice Bäumel.
The new acts that were just announced will be adding to an already incredible roster of talent at Oasis. Also performing will be Ellum label founder Maceo Plex, Berghain resident Marcel Dettmann, Detroit DJ and producer Moodymann, hardware maestros KiNK (live) and Karenn (live), plus Auntie Flo, Charlotte de Witte, Chloé, Jeremy Underground, Mike Servito, Polyswitch, Thris Tian, and Young Marco. All this, plus the festival’s official Opening Party, which features a special 4-hour set from Ibiza main man Solomun, a back-to-back session from Kenny Glasgow and My Favorite Robot, plus sets from Moroccan electronic music ambassadors Amine K and Karmon. With lots more still to be announced, this is shaping up to be Oasis Festival’s biggest year to date!
