Just gotta say that it sure is convenient that Charlie Bucket just happens to live in the same exact town as the chocolate factory so he doesn’t have to pay for travel or a passport, because his family couldn’t afford it if he had to do that. But nope, he can just walk. Convenient. Especially considering he found the last ticket on the day before the factory tour was scheduled

if the netflix CATCF desaturates willy wonkas personality (the way that every film did) and does NOT translate the utter delight that was his book self into animation ... im gonna have to put my foot down

People are missing the point!........ The four rotten kids from Charlie and the chocolate factory are not nice! They were not nice to Charlie and Wonka! And they didn't have heart!

I don't get why people won't see that! Their parents raised them wrong and they grew up spoiled and rotten!

The reason why Charlie won is because he had something they didn't had..... He has a heart, and is loving, honest, and hard working, and cares and loves his family deeply. While the four rotten kids have no heart, are spoiled and rotten and dishonest, and cares for no one but themselves.

And in the end Wonka chose Charlie to be his apprentice and hair to his factory because Charlie not only have the same love for chocolate but has a good and loving heart💖

That is why I feel that people are missing the point.... I don't want to work with someone who is rotten and doesn't share the same love and passion as I do. Would you? No you wouldn't.... I rather work with someone who is not rotten and greedy and share the same love and passion as I do and is honest and kind.

You know with the new wonka film out it makes me wonder when are they going to make a film about the great glass elevator

It’s the sequel to Charlie and the chocolate factory and yet with two films of the original and now a film prequel we are still not going to acknowledge the great glass elevator I loved it when I was a kid

It is the small goals sometimes.. but I managed to read a book for the first time in years, Yeah a childrens book it may have been but it was fun.

And who does not like a good Roald Dahl book? I managed to get my hands on Charlie and the great glass elevator at a secondhand earlier this week. I have not read it and decided it was time to learn something new. :)
