I gave Charlie Bucket puberty. He was going to be drawn as a 10-year-old (so, per usual), but his pose looked stiff and awkward, so I decided to incorporate the pose and make the awkwardness into a puberty thing.

Also, fun fact: Charlie Bucket was originally going to be black, but he was changed to white in development Honestly, it's for the best that Charlie is as we know him. Roald Dahl was the bad kind of freak. Whenever he writes black people, he does it really REALLY badly.

But I decided to make Charlie into an African-American boy as a nod to this bit of history. I like to imagine that he introduced Willy Wonka to Chuck Berry and that became something they bonded over.

Muppets Charlie & The Chocolate Factory 🍫 🏭

Several months ago when I was talking of a Muppets The Lost World (can be seen over on my DeviantArt page).

Well, while I was still having Muppets on the mind, among the other ideas was a muppet adaptation of CaTcF. These are some drawings at the time. With this adaptation there'd be a mix of human and muppet on the tour. For creativity reasons, the ticket winners and their parents would be both original designs/celebrity guest star casting. As well as having the two parents present like in the book.

As for the casting, these are what I have in mind (so far): 

Gonzo = Willy Wonka 

Kermit and Mrs Piggy = Grandpa Joe and Grandma Josephine (Mrs. Bucket's side)

Fozzie and his ma = Grandpa George and Great Grandma Georgia (Mr. Bucket's side) 

Extras/Side characters: 

Rowlf Dog = Shop Owner

The Newsman = Reporter giving updates on the ticket winnings 

Sam Eagle = On Site Reporter 

Statler and Waldorf = Sitting in the corner shop watching the TV broadcast heckling the announcements of the ticket winners

Beaker and Bunson = Workers in the Inventing Room 

Everyone else = Background characters

Willy Wonka (TB) -- Chocolate Rose

Hello, y'all! Here is once again another one of the Tim Burton fan goodie! Here we have Will Wonka (Johnny Depp version) with a chocolate rose 🌹 Been awhile since drawing Tim Burton stuff ha ha ^^;

I've been sick for awhile, been staying home for two days, and well, it's the four day weekend from school now so I am recovering now. I have been reading the book Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and just finished it Monday, and I am recently reading The Great Glass Elevator ^^. I just watched the two movies, the old one yesterday and the Tim Burton this morning till the afternoon, and I had chocolate hehehehehe :).

I just recently watched the new Wonka movie earlier after the Tim Burton one. It is cute! Now I am a Chalamet fan hehehehehe :3 I bought the movie around last summer never really got to watch it in theaters until now on DVD. It was good ^^

I am also going to a friend's birthday party at an arcade so I might display either before or after the party. Just need to got something done. It'll be fun :)
