查理．席姆 Charlie Siem (小提琴) 保羅．古德溫 Paul Goodwin (指揮) 慕尼黑廣播管弦樂團 Münchner Rundfunkorchester

1986年出生於英國倫敦，遠祖為十九世紀挪威小提琴大師布爾（Ole Bull），席姆拜當代名家明茲（Shlomo Mintz）為師，十八歲便與皇家愛樂合作演出。畢業於英國皇家音樂學院及劍橋學院後，憑藉著高超的琴藝和迷人的樣貌，席姆沒有參加小提琴比賽便已備受矚目，不僅在古典樂壇發光發熱，更與搖滾天團「The Who」、布萊恩亞當斯等同台演出，如今他也身兼英國里茲音樂學院客座教授，創下英國有史以來最年輕教授的紀錄。

超級男模的外在條件，讓國際精品品牌Dior、Dunhill、Armani與Boss紛紛邀請席姆擔任代言人。2014年加盟SONY後所發行的首張專輯【燦爛星光下】（Under the Stars），有別於過去的嚴肅古典��目，席姆挑選並演奏了十三首最受歡迎的小提琴精品，全都是作曲大師的經典小品，像是德布西的《月光》、德弗札克的《母親教我的歌》、布拉姆斯的《匈牙利舞曲》、柴可夫斯基的《憂傷小夜曲》、艾爾加的《愛的禮讚》等等，席姆以帶著懷舊氛圍的錄音，向百年前的浪漫歐洲致敬。

過去的小提琴大師為了演出需要，經常親自創作或改編，因而誕生了許多膾炙人口的名曲，席姆在【燦爛星光下】也詮釋了克萊斯勒的《吉普賽女郎》、胡拜改編的《卡門幻想曲》、及他祖先布爾改編的《寂寞山脈》。為了呼應這百年餘音，專輯最後一首收錄席姆自己所作的《華蓋》（Canopy），甜美且醉人。在英國指揮大師古德溫率領慕尼黑廣播管弦樂團的伴奏下，席姆全然展現出身兼名家與明星的雙重魅力。

Echoing this, though I’ll also add that the first three images here have the best hold of the actual violin, and the bow hold doesn’t look too bad either (I am not a violin teacher I have played for a decade I mostly know what it feels like not what it looks like on someone else! so grain of salt!!)

also I can totally tell this is a viola lmao the strings are too thick for a violin. But as a short violist, my viola is actually a violin with thicker strings so there really is very little visual difference. Unless you’re looking at like a six foot bulky ass man at which point a violin will look silly and puny
