Echoing this, though I’ll also add that the first three images here have the best hold of the actual violin, and the bow hold doesn’t look too bad either (I am not a violin teacher I have played for a decade I mostly know what it feels like not what it looks like on someone else! so grain of salt!!)

also I can totally tell this is a viola lmao the strings are too thick for a violin. But as a short violist, my viola is actually a violin with thicker strings so there really is very little visual difference. Unless you’re looking at like a six foot bulky ass man at which point a violin will look silly and puny

yes but probably not well, technically speaking. please seek additional resources if you want it to be more technically correct as none of us are actually trained 😅 Also I think it's a viola if that matters. 🥰
