Snowfall had begun in earnest that December, blanketing the village in a hush so profound it felt as though the world itself were holding its breath. The young woman stood at the kitchen sink, hands submerged in icy dishwater, staring absently out the frost-etched window. The sky was a pale grey, a curtain of wintry gloom stretched thin over rooftops where chimneys smoked and whispered of warmth.
She glanced down at her hands, red from the cold despite the scarf wrapped snug around her wrists, and sighed. Dorothy and Julian were in the parlour, their laughter spilling into the house like sunlight. Dorothy had spent the morning cutting paper chains while Julian orchestrated a kingdom of tin soldiers on the hearth. Their joy pierced her heart like shards of glass—a reminder of Charles. Julian’s unruly hair fell into his eyes just the way his father’s had, and Dorothy’s cheeky smile carried the same tilt of mischief.
The letter was still hidden in her dresser drawer, folded too neatly for something so devastating. It had arrived in the brittle chill of early November, its official tone draining all warmth from the room as she read the curt words: "Presumed missing, believed dead." Protocol, they’d called it. A mechanism for closing doors, for stitching the torn fabric of lives left behind. But the wound in her heart remained unsewn.
The children didn’t know. How could they? She had tucked the grief away, smothering it beneath cheerfulness she didn’t feel. “Mummy, can we have plum pudding this year?” Dorothy had asked, her face aglow with anticipation. She had forced a smile then, nodding and promising, though the thought of Christmas without Charles’s deep laugh, his steady presence, seemed unbearable.
As the evening descended, the village grew quiet save for the occasional crunch of boots on snow as neighbours hurried home. The lights on the tree—a scraggly thing Julian had insisted was perfect when they’d brought it in—glimmered faintly, their glow reflected in the baubles Charles had hung last year. She turned away, blinking back tears, and began laying the table for supper.
That night, as she tucked Dorothy and Julian into bed, their excitement was infectious. “Father Christmas is coming soon!” Julian declared, his small fists clutching the quilt.
“He won’t forget our house, will he?” Dorothy asked, her voice serious.
“Of course not,” she replied, her voice steady despite the ache in her chest. She kissed their foreheads, inhaling their innocent warmth, and closed the door quietly behind her.
In the stillness of her bedroom, she unfolded the letter once more. The inked words blurred as she stared at them. It was easier, somehow, to believe that the man who had written her so many tender notes, who had kissed her hand on their wedding day, was merely gone for now. Lost but not beyond reach. Yet the shadows of doubt loomed larger with each passing day.
She had told no one. Not her neighbours, whose own husbands and sons littered foreign graves. Not her children, who still whispered prayers for their father each night. She carried it silently, a solitary burden she could neither lay down nor bear much longer.
Outside, the bells of St. Mary’s chimed the hour, each peal a cruel reminder of time’s unyielding march towards Christmas. A Christmas that loomed hollow and bereft. She pressed her forehead to the cold glass, her breath misting the windowpane. Beyond, the world glittered as if untouched by sorrow, as if unaware of her breaking heart.
Christmas morning arrived with the world awash in golden light, the snow outside sparkling like diamonds. Dorothy and Julian burst into her room, their faces alight with the boundless excitement of the day.
“Mum! It’s Christmas!” Julian shouted, already tugging her from her bed.
Dorothy held a small package, wrapped in newspaper and tied with string. “This one’s for you! We saved it, just for today.”
The sight of their shining faces filled her with guilt and gratitude in equal measure. She managed a smile, sitting with them by the hearth as they tore into their small pile of gifts. Wooden soldiers for Julian, a tin tea set for Dorothy—modest treasures in a time of rationing, but enough to spark joy in her children.
As they played, a commotion erupted outside. Shouts echoed down the cobbled street, punctuated by the sharp clang of a handbell.
“The war is over! It’s over!”
She froze, the words piercing through her like sunlight breaking a storm. From her seat on the rug, Dorothy gasped. “Mummy, does that mean Daddy’s coming home?”
She couldn’t speak, the question lodging like a thorn in her throat. All she could do was pull them close, and smile.
“Let’s go outside and celebrate!” She replied instead, walking over to the coat hangers.
She bundled the children into their coats and scarves, their squeals of excitement filling the small house. Dorothy’s cheeks were already pink with joy, her hands fumbling with her mittens.
“Mummy, hurry!” Julian urged, hopping from foot to foot. “We have to go see!”
She forced a smile and kissed the top of his head. “Go on, both of you. I’ll be just a moment.”
The children dashed out into the snow, their laughter spilling down the lane to join the jubilant cries of the neighbours. She closed the door softly behind them, the house falling quiet once more.
Leaning against the door, she drew in a deep, shuddering breath. Her hands trembled as she pressed them to her face, the tears spilling unchecked now that no one was there to see. The news should have been a balm, but it felt more like a cruel twist. The war was over, but Charles would not be coming back with the others. She was sure of it now, the hope that had lingered for so long finally extinguished.
The house felt cavernous again, the weight of her solitude pressing down on her chest. She moved into the kitchen, the floorboards creaking underfoot. The sight of the breakfast dishes—half-eaten toast and crumbs left behind in the morning’s rush—only deepened her ache.
She braced herself against the sink, staring out at the frost-covered garden. Her shoulders shook, the sobs spilling out of her like waves breaking against a crumbling shore. She had carried this grief alone for so long, but now it threatened to consume her entirely.
“Mummy?”
The soft voice startled her, and she turned to find Dorothy standing in the doorway, her small face pinched with concern.
“Why are you crying?” Dorothy asked, stepping forward with cautious, measured steps.
“I’m not, darling,” she lied, hastily dabbing at her cheeks.
“You are,” Dorothy said plainly, slipping her hand into her mother’s. “But you don’t have to. The war’s over, and Daddy would want us to be happy. You should come outside. Everyone’s singing.”
The simplicity of her daughter’s words cut straight through her. She knelt, wrapping Dorothy in a fierce hug, the warmth of her small body grounding her.
“All right, love,” she whispered, her voice hoarse. “Let’s go and celebrate.”
Dorothy smiled and tugged her hand, leading her to the door.
The street was alive with celebration. Neighbours who had spent years steeped in quiet, rationed hardship now spilled into the snow-covered road, their faces alight with relief and joy. Someone had hauled a wireless outside, the strains of carols mingling with the jubilant cheers. A man passed with a tray of mince pies, offering one to Julian, who accepted with sticky-fingered glee.
Dorothy twirled in circles, her arms outstretched as snowflakes caught in her hair. Her mother stood at the edge of the crowd, watching her children with a tender ache. For their sake, she tried to let herself feel the joy that surrounded her, to bask in the miracle of peace.
“Mummy, look!” Julian called, pointing to a group of men raising a toast with tin mugs. “Maybe Daddy’s with them!”
Her breath caught. She scanned the crowd reflexively, knowing in her heart she wouldn’t find him there. Yet she let Julian cling to the hope she couldn’t bear to shatter.
As the afternoon waned, she gathered her children, their cheeks red from the cold, their hands clutching treasures gifted by neighbours—sweets, a small wooden horse for Julian, a knitted scarf for Dorothy.
Inside, the warmth of the house embraced them, the fire crackling merrily in the grate. She shepherded them upstairs, brushing away their protestations.
“Christmas isn’t over, Mummy,” Dorothy said, yawning despite herself.
“No, it isn’t,” she said with a small smile, tucking her daughter in snugly. “There’s still tonight, and tomorrow, and the day after that.”
She kissed their foreheads, lingering just a moment longer to drink in their innocence. How had they carried on, so untouched by the weight that threatened to crush her? She envied them their resilience, their belief that the world could be made whole again.
Once they were asleep, she descended the stairs, the house eerily quiet once more. The fire in the hearth glowed faintly, its light casting long shadows across the room. She settled into her worn chair, pulling a shawl around her shoulders, her hands curled around a steaming mug.
The world outside had stilled. The street celebrations had quieted, the snow falling again in soft, measured drifts. Her thoughts wandered to Charles, as they always did when the house was silent. She tried to picture his face as it had been the last time she saw him, standing tall in his uniform, a brave smile hiding the fear she knew he felt.
A sharp knock broke through her reverie. She startled, her mug slipping from her hands and clattering to the floor. For a moment, she sat frozen, her heart racing. Who could be calling at this hour?
She rose slowly, her legs trembling as she crossed the room. The cold air seeped in as she opened the door, her breath catching in her throat.
There he stood, framed by the golden glow of the streetlamp behind him. His uniform was tattered, his face pale with exhaustion, but it was him—Charles.
“Hello, love,” he said softly, his voice hoarse but warm, his eyes brimming with unshed tears.
Her hand flew to her mouth, a sob escaping her lips as the weight of the months, the grief and fear, melted away all at once. “I thought you were dead,” she choked, her words barely a whisper.
He stepped forward, his arms wrapping around her tightly, solid and real. She clung to him, her tears soaking into his coat as he murmured soothing words, his voice trembling with emotion.
For the first time in what felt like forever, her heart felt whole.
For a long moment, she couldn’t let go of him. Her hands clung to his coat as if he might vanish if she dared loosen her grip. The snowflakes clinging to his hair melted into beads of water, and his warmth seeped into her, chasing away the cold that had lived in her heart for months.
“I thought you were dead,” she whispered again, her voice trembling.
“I nearly was,” he admitted, his voice low, hoarse with emotion and exhaustion. He pulled back slightly to look at her, his hand lifting to brush away her tears. His touch was tender, his fingers lingering as though trying to memorise her face. “There’s so much to tell you, love. The mission went wrong… we were shot down. Most of us didn’t make it. I was captured—held prisoner for weeks.”
She gasped softly, her heart breaking anew at the thought of what he must have endured. “Oh, Charles…”
“It’s over now,” he said, his voice steadying as he cupped her face in his hands. “I escaped when the retreat began. It was a long road back, but I’m here. I’m back. And I’m not going anywhere again. Ever.”
The tears came fresh, her relief pouring out in sobs that wracked her entire frame. He pulled her close, his arms encircling her as he held her tightly, anchoring her in the moment.
When she looked up at him again, he smiled, the lines of weariness softening into something infinitely gentle. She reached up, her hand trembling as she touched his cheek, then leaned in, her lips brushing his. The kiss was slow, delicate, and filled with everything she couldn’t put into words—her anguish, her longing, her love.
When they finally broke apart, his forehead rested against hers, and he let out a soft, shaky breath.
“The kids?” he asked, his voice hushed, as though afraid to disturb the peace of the moment.
She smiled through her tears, taking his hand. “Come on,” she whispered, leading him up the stairs.
The house was quiet save for the creak of the floorboards beneath their feet. She paused at the children’s door, easing it open with care. The soft glow of the moonlight spilled through the window, illuminating Dorothy and Julian as they slept soundly, their faces peaceful.
Charles stepped into the room, his hand still in hers. He knelt by Julian’s bed first, his expression softening as he took in the sight of his son. His fingers brushed the boy’s dark hair, and his throat worked as though he were fighting back tears.
Then he moved to Dorothy, his gaze lingering on her delicate features. She stirred slightly in her sleep, murmuring something incoherent before settling again.
“They’ve grown,” he whispered, his voice thick with emotion.
“They have,” she said, her own voice trembling. “They look so much like you.”
He glanced back at her, his eyes shining, and then turned to gaze at them again. “I can’t believe I almost missed this. Missed them.”
She placed a hand on his shoulder, the two of them standing together in silence for a long moment, watching their children sleep. It was a moment she thought she’d never have again—a moment that felt too precious to disturb, too fragile to let go.
When they finally left the room, closing the door quietly behind them, he pulled her into his arms once more. “I’m back,” he murmured against her hair. “Back for good. We’re whole again, love. Whole.”
The quiet of the house enveloped them as she led him to their room. The door creaked softly as she pushed it open, revealing the familiar space that had so often been her refuge—and her prison—in his absence. The room felt warmer with him in it, the shadows less oppressive, the air lighter.
Charles stood just inside the doorway, his weary eyes scanning the room, as if grounding himself in the life he had fought so hard to return to. She turned to him, her fingers trembling as they moved to the buttons of his tattered coat.
“Let me,” she murmured, her voice barely above a whisper.
He nodded, his gaze fixed on her face as she worked the buttons loose, one by one. The coat slipped from his shoulders, heavy with the weight of everything he’d been through. She caught it before it hit the floor, draping it carefully over a chair. When she looked up again, she saw his shirt beneath, threadbare and stained, a testament to all he hadn’t told her yet.
Her breath hitched, and she reached out to touch him—his chest, solid and warm beneath the worn fabric. Her tears came again, spilling silently as she rested her forehead against him.
“War is over, Cha,” she whispered, her voice trembling with emotion. “It’s over.”
His hand came up to cup the back of her head, his fingers threading through her hair as he held her close. “It’s over,” he echoed softly, his voice steady, as if speaking the words made them real.
They stood like that for a long moment, the only sound the faint crackle of the fire downstairs and the whisper of the snow against the window. She pulled back just enough to meet his gaze, and in his eyes, she saw the same relief, the same raw gratitude that coursed through her.
Wordlessly, she led him to the bed, pulling back the quilt she had lain under alone for far too long. He eased down beside her, his body sinking into the mattress with a sigh of exhaustion. She followed, curling against him as he wrapped an arm around her, drawing her close.
For the first time in months, the bed didn’t feel so empty, the darkness didn’t seem so vast, and the ache in her chest was no longer unbearable. They lay in silence, the words unspoken between them carried in the warmth of his touch, the steadiness of his breathing.
As sleep began to claim them, she whispered into the stillness, “You’re home, Charles.”
And in the soft darkness, he answered, his voice a balm to her weary soul: “I’m home.”
the end.

They say you never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have. But that doesn’t stop the crushing reality from setting in, from stealing the breath out of your lungs and leaving you with nothing but a pit in your stomach.
The adrenaline’s worn off now. The chaos of the crash—the sound of metal twisting, the screeching tires, the moment when everything went still—has settled into a steady, numbing dread. The pit in your stomach isn’t just from fear, it’s from the void where your thoughts should be. You don’t know what’s coming next. You’re not even sure if you’re prepared for it.
Charles isn’t here.
Charles isn’t in the room with you.
You glance at your phone again, eyes scanning for any update, any piece of news that tells you he’s okay. There’s nothing. Just the same cold silence. You dial his team again, and again, and again. But no one answers. His car was mangled—wrecked beyond recognition, but the worst part? The worst part is that no one can give you any real answers. No one can tell you if he’ll come back to you, or if that’s a question you should stop asking.
You feel like you're caught in a never-ending loop, the crash replaying over and over in your mind. Every time you hear his name on the news, every time you see another mention of the race, it stabs you like a fresh wound.
“Is there any word?” you ask, voice barely above a whisper, though you’ve asked the question a hundred times already.
One of the nurses glances at you, but it’s not the answer you need. They’re all running on autopilot, no one daring to face the gravity of what’s happening.
A few hours later, you get the call. It’s brief, clinical, distant. They’re transferring him to the hospital for further tests, and you need to come now. You don’t even bother with a response. You just grab your coat, your purse, and run.
When you get to the hospital, you’re not prepared for what you’re about to see. You’ve spent all this time worrying about him, and now that you’re here, you don’t know how to be ready for the reality.
They rush you through sterile hallways, and the air feels thick, suffocating. The nurses are too quiet, too busy to offer reassurance. You don’t need their words. You need him.
The surgery’s been a blur. A series of technical terms, each more frightening than the last. Internal injuries. Organ failure. The adrenaline that was keeping him stable starts to wear off. Everything’s urgent, but no one tells you what’s going to happen. No one tells you that he might not make it through.
His mother arrives as you’re sitting in the waiting area, your fingers anxiously twisting the hem of your sleeve. She doesn’t need to say anything. You can see it in her eyes. She’s feeling the same crushing weight of uncertainty that you are. You stand, not knowing what to say, not knowing if there’s anything to say.
“How is he?” she asks, her voice cracking before the words are even out.
“They’re still working on him,” you answer, though you don’t know much. You don’t know anything. “They said it’s critical. I... I don’t know if he’s going to make it through.”
Her face falls, and she takes a deep breath. You want to say something, anything to reassure her, but you can’t. You don’t know what to believe anymore. The fear inside of you keeps growing, pressing against your ribs like a weight you can’t lift.
The door to the surgery room opens, and the doctor steps out. His face is pale, his expression tight.
“Is he...?” you ask, your voice trembling before the question even forms. You can’t bring yourself to finish it.
“He’s stable for now, but his condition is still critical,” the doctor explains. “We’re doing everything we can, but the next few hours are going to be crucial. The adrenaline kept his body from fully going into shock. It’s buying us time, but there’s a chance that time won’t be enough.”
You feel the ground slip away beneath you as his words sink in. “What does that mean? Is he going to be okay?”
“We’ll know more in a few hours, but we’re monitoring his organs. There’s significant internal damage.” He pauses, searching for something to say. Something comforting. “He’s a fighter. We’ll keep doing everything we can.”
You nod, though the words don’t mean anything to you. Fighters don’t always win. You know that. The only thing you can do is wait. But it feels like the waiting is the hardest part.
His mother looks at you, her eyes pleading, her lips trembling. “What do we do now?” she asks, her voice barely above a whisper.
You’re not prepared to make these decisions. You’re his wife, but you never thought you’d be here, making these life-or-death calls. This isn’t supposed to be your responsibility. You want to ask his mother what to do, but you can’t. She doesn’t have the answers. She’s just as lost as you are.
“I don’t know,” you whisper back, feeling the weight of it all settling on your shoulders.
She looks at you with a deep sadness in her eyes. “You’re his wife. It’s your decision now.”
Those words hit you like a punch to the gut. You’re supposed to know. You’re supposed to know what he’d want, what the right choice is. But you don’t. How can you possibly know what to do when everything feels so out of control?
You want to run, want to disappear, but you can’t. Charles is still fighting. He’s still here, and that’s all you have. You can’t walk away from that.
As the hours drag on, you’re taken to see him. The room is sterile, cold. It’s not the hospital room you imagined. It’s nothing like that. It’s a place of quiet chaos, where everything hangs in the balance.
Charles is unconscious, tubes and wires running everywhere. His skin is pale, his face bruised. The doctors said he was conscious for a moment, but he’s out again, too weak to keep his eyes open.
You sit by his side, taking his hand gently, trying to feel his warmth through the coldness of the hospital room. You whisper his name, but there’s no response.
“He’s in there,” you tell yourself. You have to believe that. You can’t let go. Not yet.
Minutes pass, and still, nothing. His pulse steady on the monitor, but that’s the only sign that he’s still here. The rest of it is just a waiting game. You’ve been here before, waiting for someone you love to wake up, to come back to you, but it’s never been like this.
It’s never been this uncertain, this terrifying.
Charles is still here, but you know that might not be the case for long. The waiting is unbearable. Every beep of the heart monitor is both a reminder that he’s still alive and a warning that it could change at any moment.
As the nurse enters to check on him, you hold his hand tighter, unwilling to let go, unwilling to believe that this could be it.
“How long?” you ask her, barely able to look at the machines, not sure you want to know.
“It’s hard to say,” she replies softly. “He’s stable, but his condition is still critical. If we don’t see improvement soon, we might need to make... more decisions.”
That word. Decisions. What decisions? You’re left with nothing but the silence, the uncertainty. The questions. The waiting.
As the hours stretch on, and the doctor makes his rounds again, you finally hear the words you’ve been dreading. “There’s no improvement. We might need to consider...” He doesn’t finish the sentence, but you hear what he means. The fear inside you rises, a growing lump in your throat. The worst-case scenario is beginning to feel more real with each passing second.
Everything is slipping away, and you don’t know how to hold on.
You sit in the chair, staring at Charles, your mind racing with fear and doubt. You want to hope, you want to pray, but it feels like hope is a fragile thing, easily crushed by the weight of reality. The fight’s not over yet, but you’re starting to wonder if it ever will be.
“I’m here,” you whisper again, to him, to yourself. “I’m not going anywhere.”
But somewhere deep inside, you know. You know that the decision you’re dreading might be just around the corner, and there’s nothing you can do to stop it.

Lewis
It’s Christmas morning, and Lewis is dressed in cozy pajamas, humming along to the holiday music playing in the background as you both sit down for breakfast. Your heart races as you glance at the small, perfectly wrapped box under the tree—the last gift you’ve saved for him.
After breakfast, you watch as Lewis excitedly tears through the other gifts you’ve given him, laughing and showing endless gratitude for every item. Finally, it’s time for the big moment. You grab the box, set your phone up on the table to record, and hand it to him.
“What’s this, babe?” he asks, flashing you that charming smile.
“Just open it,” you say, nerves and excitement bubbling inside you.
He unwraps the paper and opens the box, his brow furrowing slightly as he pulls out the tiny onesie and the pregnancy test. The onesie reads, “Daddy’s Little Champion.” He stares at it for a moment, then looks up at you, his mouth falling open.
“Are you serious?” he whispers, his voice shaky.
You nod, tears already spilling down your cheeks.
“No way. No way!” he exclaims, standing up and rushing to you. He picks you up effortlessly, twirling you around as he laughs and cries at the same time. “We’re going to be parents! Babe, this is the best Christmas ever!”
You’re both crying now, holding each other tightly as the magnitude of the moment sinks in. Lewis kneels down, placing a gentle hand on your stomach. “Hey, little one,” he says softly, his voice filled with emotion. “It’s your dad. I’m so happy you’re here, and I already love you so much. Your mom and I can’t wait to meet you.” He presses a tender kiss to your belly, his tears falling freely.
He looks up at you, his eyes shimmering with joy. “Thank you, babe. You’ve given me the greatest gift in the world.”

Charles
Christmas morning at home with Charles is cozy and warm, filled with the scent of freshly baked croissants and the soft glow of fairy lights. You watch as he carefully opens each gift you’ve given him, smiling and thanking you after every one.
Finally, you hand him the last box, your hands trembling slightly as you set your phone up to capture his reaction.
“Another one?” he teases, his dimpled grin making your heart flutter.
“This one’s special,” you say, trying to keep your voice steady.
He tears open the paper and lifts the lid of the box, his eyes immediately landing on the tiny Ferrari-themed baby outfit and the pregnancy test. He blinks, his smile fading into an expression of disbelief.
“Wait…” he mutters, looking up at you. “Is this… are you pregnant?”
You nod, tears streaming down your face.
“Oh my gosh!!” he exclaims, his voice cracking. He jumps up, rushing to you and pulling you into his arms. “We’re going to have a baby! Y/N, this is incredible!”
Charles pulls back, his hands shaking slightly as he places them on your stomach. “Hi, little bébé,” he says softly, his accent thick with emotion. “I’m your papa, and I already love you more than anything in the world.”
He drops to his knees, pressing gentle kisses to your belly. “You have no idea how lucky you are to have your mama. She’s amazing, and we’re going to love you so much.”

Carlos
Carlos is in the middle of teasing you about how many gifts you’ve given him when you hand him the final box. You set your phone up to record and sit back, your heart pounding.
“Another one?” he jokes, his Spanish accent warming the room. “You’re spoiling me, amor.”
“This one’s different,” you say, your voice trembling slightly.
He unwraps the box, his expression softening as he pulls out a tiny red chili themed onesie and the positive pregnancy test. His eyes widen, and he looks at you, completely stunned.
“Are you serious?” he whispers.
You nod, tears streaming down your cheeks.
“¡Madre mía!” he exclaims, jumping up and pulling you into his arms. He spins you around, laughing and crying at the same time. “We’re going to be parents! Y/N, this is the best news ever!”
Carlos kneels down, placing both hands on your belly. “Hi, bebé,” he says softly, his voice thick with emotion. “I’m your papa, and I love you so much already. Your mamá and I are so excited to meet you.”
He presses a kiss to your stomach, then looks up at you with tears in his eyes. “You’ve made me the happiest man in the world.”

Max
Christmas morning with Max is quiet and cozy, the two of you sipping hot chocolate while the snow falls softly outside. He’s already torn through a few gifts, grinning at everything, but you’ve saved the best for last.
You hand him the final box and set your phone up, trying to keep your nerves in check.
“Another gift? You’re spoiling me,” he teases, giving you a curious look.
“This one’s special,” you say softly, your voice trembling with excitement.
Max opens the box carefully, his brow furrowing when he spots the tiny Red Bull-themed baby onesie and the pregnancy test. He stares at it for a moment, processing, before his head snaps up to look at you.
“Wait… are you serious?” he asks, his voice barely above a whisper.
You nod, tears streaming down your face.
“No way,” he mutters, breaking into a wide grin as he jumps up and rushes to you. He wraps his arms around you, lifting you off the ground as he lets out a laugh of pure joy. “We’re having a baby? Y/N, this is amazing!”
He sets you down and immediately drops to his knees, placing his hands on your stomach. “Hey, little one,” he says softly, his voice full of emotion. “It’s your dad. I can’t wait to meet you, and I promise I’ll always protect you. Your mom and I love you so much already.”
Max presses a tender kiss to your belly, then looks up at you, his blue eyes shimmering with tears. “You’ve just made my life perfect,” he whispers.

Lando
Christmas morning with Lando is filled with laughter and the sound of Christmas music playing in the background. He’s been joking about how many gifts you’ve given him, but now it’s time for the big one.
You hand him the final box and set your phone up, your hands shaking slightly.
“This better not be a prank,” he jokes, raising an eyebrow.
“Just open it,” you say, trying to hide your smile.
Lando rips off the wrapping paper and opens the box, his eyes widening when he sees the tiny dj themed onesie and the pregnancy test. He stares at it for a moment, completely speechless.
“Wait… no way,” he finally says, looking up at you. “Are you serious?”
You nod, tears streaming down your face.
“Holy shit!” he shouts, jumping up and pulling you into a tight hug. He spins you around, laughing and crying at the same time. “We’re going to have a baby! This is insane!”
Lando kneels down, placing his hands gently on your stomach. “Hey, baby Norris,” he says with a grin. “It’s your dad. I’m so excited to meet you, and I promise I’ll be the coolest dad ever. Your mom and I love you so much already.”
He kisses your belly, then looks up at you with the biggest smile you’ve ever seen. “You’ve just made this the best Christmas ever,” he says, his voice full of love.

Oscar
Christmas morning with Oscar is quiet and sweet, the two of you curled up by the tree with your favorite breakfast foods. He’s been thanking you profusely for every gift, but you’ve saved the most important one for last.
You hand him the final box and set your phone up, your heart pounding.
“What’s this?” he asks, raising an eyebrow.
“Just open it,” you say, trying to keep your voice steady.
Oscar unwraps the box carefully, his expression shifting as he pulls out the tiny “baby piastri” onesie and the pregnancy test. He freezes, staring at it for a long moment before looking up at you.
“Wait… are you serious?” he asks, his voice trembling.
You nod, tears streaming down your cheeks.
“Oh my God,” he whispers, his face breaking into the most genuine smile you’ve ever seen. He pulls you into his arms, holding you tightly. “We’re having a baby? This is amazing, Y/N. I’m so happy!”
Oscar kneels down, placing a hand on your stomach. “Hi, little one,” he says softly. “I’m your dad, and I can’t wait to meet you. Your mom and I love you so much already.”
He presses a gentle kiss to your belly, then looks up at you with tears in his eyes. “This is the best Christmas gift ever. Thank you, love.”

Sebastian
Christmas morning with Seb is peaceful and warm, the two of you sharing a quiet breakfast by the fire. You watch as he opens the last of his gifts, thanking you with that gentle smile that always melts your heart.
When you hand him the final box, your hands are shaking slightly. You set your phone up to record, trying to steady your breathing.
“Another one?” he asks, giving you a curious look.
“Just open it,” you say softly.
Seb unwraps the box carefully, his expression softening as he pulls out the tiny “best dad ever” baby onesie and the pregnancy test. His eyes widen, and he looks up at you, completely stunned.
“Is this… are you serious?” he whispers.
You nod, tears streaming down your face.
“Oh, Y/N,” he says, his voice cracking as he pulls you into his arms. He holds you tightly, his tears soaking into your shoulder. “We’re going to be parents. This is incredible.”
Seb kneels down, placing his hands gently on your stomach. “Hello, little one,” he says softly. “I’m your papa, and I can’t wait to meet you. Your mom and I love you so much already.”
He presses a tender kiss to your belly, then looks up at you with tears in his eyes. “You’ve just given me the greatest gift in the world.”

Jenson
Christmas morning with Jenson is full of laughter and playful teasing as you sit by the tree, opening gifts. He’s been making jokes about how spoiled he feels, but you’ve saved the best for last.
You hand him the final box and set your phone up, your heart racing.
“This one better be good,” he says with a wink.
“Just open it,” you say, your voice trembling with excitement.
Jenson tears into the wrapping paper and opens the box, his eyes widening as he pulls out the tiny race car-themed baby onesie and the pregnancy test. He stares at it for a moment, his jaw dropping.
“Wait… are you serious?” he asks, his voice shaking.
You nod, tears spilling down your cheeks.
“No way!” he shouts, jumping up and pulling you into his arms. He lifts you off the ground, twirling you around as he laughs and cries. “We’re going to have a baby? Babe, this is amazing!”
Jenson kneels down, placing his hands gently on your stomach. “Hey there, little one,” he says softly, his voice full of emotion. “It’s your dad. I already love you so much, and your mom and I can’t wait to meet you.”
He kisses your belly, then looks up at you with the biggest smile you’ve ever seen. “You’ve just made this the best Christmas ever,” he says, his voice full of love.

Endless hours passed after the accident before the first clear update about your condition reached the media and the paddock. Everyone was anxiously waiting for news about your health. The uncertainty left fans, journalists, and especially those who truly knew you in a state of tense anticipation.
Finally, a statement from the hospital's medical team brought some relief: you were stable and conscious. While initial tests had ruled out serious spinal injuries or significant fractures, the impact had been severe, leaving you with a moderate concussion and several internal bruises that required monitoring. What concerned the doctors most were the potential psychological and emotional aftereffects: the nature of the crash, the impact, and all the built-up stress could take a toll later.
Hours later, you woke up in a hospital room softly lit by the afternoon light. Everything was quiet except for the rhythmic beeping of the monitor beside your bed. Your body felt heavy, like it was filled with lead, and the headache was sharp and constant. As your eyes adjusted to the light, you noticed someone sitting nearby.
It was Charles. He was there, his hands clasped in front of his mouth, as if praying or just trying to calm his own nerves. When he saw you stir slightly, he lifted his head, and his expression changed a mix of relief and worry crossed his face.
“You’re awake,” he said softly, as if he didn’t want to scare you. “Thank God.”
You hadn’t expected to see him there. In fact, you hadn’t expected to see anyone. And yet, here he was.
“Charles…” you tried to speak, but your voice came out as barely a whisper.
“Shhh, don’t talk too much. The doctors said you need to rest.”
“What are you doing here?” you asked, ignoring his warning, even though just talking felt like needles stabbing your skull.
He shrugged, offering a light but sincere smile.
“Someone had to make sure you were okay.”
Charles stayed by your side for hours, even when the doctors came in and out to check on you. He answered questions from the journalists crowding outside the hospital, desperate for a statement, and refused requests from photographers trying to get a shot of you. There was something unusually warm and protective about the way he acted.
As you lay back, eyes closed to avoid making the headache worse, you heard his voice.
“You scared me, you know? I’ve never seen anything so…” He paused, searching for the right word. “So violent. Not since Jules. And when I saw the crash on the screen, I thought the worst.”
You opened your eyes and looked at him. There was sincerity in his face, something you hadn’t expected.
“I’m okay… sort of.” You tried to joke, but the pain turned it into a grimace.
“No, you’re not okay. But you will be. You have to be.”
As Charles stayed with you, messages started pouring in. Your phone sat on the bedside table, just out of reach, and Charles offered to read some.
“Everyone’s worried about you. Here’s one from Lando… and even one from Toto. Seems like the entire F1 world is waiting for you to get better.”
“Who else?” you asked, almost dreading the answer.
Charles scrolled through, his expression hardening briefly before softening again.
“Max,” he said simply.
Your heart stopped for a moment. You didn’t know what to expect. Since the accident, you’d assumed Max was too caught up in his own world to care, but the fact that he’d written at all was enough to twist your stomach.
“What does it say?” you asked, trying to sound indifferent, though you knew Charles could see right through you.
He hesitated before answering.
“‘Hope you’re okay. Sorry I wasn’t there sooner. Let me know if you need anything.’”
The neutrality of the words didn’t match the intensity of what you felt hearing them. You closed your eyes, trying to process it all. What did that message even mean? Was it just courtesy, or was there something more behind those words?
Charles noticed your discomfort and set the phone aside.
“You don’t have to reply if you don’t want to.”
“I won’t,” you said quickly, though part of you knew that wasn’t true.
As night fell, Charles finally said goodbye, promising to return the next day. There was something comforting about his presence, how he’d set aside any competitiveness or formality just to be there for you. Yet, when you were left alone, the thoughts began to overwhelm you.
The crash, the messages, the worries it all tangled into a mess of emotions you couldn’t unravel. The only thing clear was that while you were physically stable, emotionally, you were far from okay.
After that day in the hospital, Charles became a constant presence in your life. His support wasn’t limited to encouraging messages or occasional visits. He went beyond that. Where others saw a moral obligation or an opportunity to score points with the media, he saw something else: a chance to show you that you weren’t alone.
The medical team made it clear you could return to racing, but not without certain restrictions. You had to stick to a strict combination of medications after every race: anti-inflammatories, painkillers, and supplements to manage the physical and mental stress you still felt after the accident. Charles was the first person to offer to help you with this. It wasn’t his responsibility, but he seemed to take on the role without hesitation.
The first race after the accident was a mental and physical challenge. As you prepared to get back in the cockpit, fear swirled in your chest. The accident was fresh in your memory, and even though you knew you were capable, there was a shadow of doubt you couldn’t shake.
The day before the race, Charles showed up at your hotel. He had a small bag in hand and a calm expression, almost as if it was meant to soothe you.
"I thought you might need this," he said, placing the bag on the table.
Inside, there was a box of relaxing tea, a small book about mental strategies in sports, and a handwritten note. When you opened it, you found a simple phrase: "You’re stronger than you think."
"Thank u," you said, moved by the gesture.
"You don’t have to thank me. I just want you to know I’m here, okay? If you need to talk, if you need anything..."
You nodded, grateful for his sincerity. For a long time, you’d felt alone in this world. It was strange to realize someone was willing to stand by your side without asking for anything in return.
Race day was a whirlwind. Even though you tried to stay calm, every time you sat in the car, the memory of the crash resurfaced. You gripped the steering wheel tightly, reminding yourself you’d done this thousands of times before, that you were capable—one of the best.
The race wasn’t easy, but you finished in a solid fifth place, a result any other driver would’ve considered a success under the circumstances. When you got out of the car, exhausted but relieved, Charles was the first to approach you.
"Well done," he said, patting your shoulder.
After every race, Charles made sure you followed the medical protocol. Sometimes, when you forgot the pills, he’d show up holding the box, reminding you that your health came first.
"How do you even know I haven’t taken them?" you asked one day, half-joking.
"Because I know you well enough to know you hate depending on this stuff," he said with a smile, handing you the water and pills.
It was strange how his presence had gone from sporadic to constant. He wasn’t just there for the serious moments; he also found ways to make you laugh, to lighten the weight on your shoulders.
It wasn’t something you’d planned or even imagined after everything you’d been through, but your friendship with Charles was good for you. So much so that you felt comfortable asking him something after noticing he’d been off for a while. You’d seen his behavior become quieter than usual, even in the paddock, where he usually managed to keep up appearances in front of the cameras.
"Are you okay? You seem... off."
His response came almost immediately.
"Do you have time to talk?"
You invited him to your place, where you saw a different side of Charles. He’d shed his usual composure and looked... vulnerable, almost like the facade he kept in public had cracked.
"Thanks for this," he said, sitting on the small couch as you handed him a bottle of water.
"You don’t have to thank me, Charles. What’s going on?"
He sighed, fiddling with the cap of the bottle before speaking.
"It’s... complicated. Ferrari doesn’t feel like my team anymore."
You frowned, surprised by his words.
"What do you mean?"
"Since Lewis joined this year, everything changed. I knew it would be different, it’s Lewis Hamilton, of course but I didn’t think it’d be like this," he confessed, his voice low, almost a whisper. "I feel like everything revolves around him. The strategies, the resources, even the engineers’ attention... It’s like I’m a shadow in my own team."
You felt a pang in your chest hearing that. It was almost an exact replica of what you’d felt when you shared a team with him at Ferrari.
"Charles... you don’t know how much I get it," you said, sitting across from him. "That feeling of being invisible, like your efforts don’t matter... I went through the same thing with you."
He looked up, surprised by your honesty.
"Really?"
"Yeah. Do you remember all those team orders? All those moments where no matter how fast I was, they always put me aside to favor you. It’s... frustrating. It makes you question everything you do."
Charles nodded slowly, processing your words.
"I guess I never saw it from your perspective. I always thought the team’s decisions were fair, but now... now I know what it feels like."
You leaned forward, resting your elbows on your knees.
"Charles, I know how hard this is. But what you need to remember is that your talent doesn’t depend on them. Ferrari is just one team, one stage in your career—it doesn’t define who you are as a driver."
"How did you deal with it?" he asked, genuinely curious.
"At first, I didn’t," you admitted. "I kept everything inside, let the frustration eat me up... until I couldn’t take it anymore. But I learned something: you can’t let them take away what you love about this sport. If Ferrari doesn’t value you the way they should, then prove your worth on the track. Force them to see you."
Charles nodded slowly, as if your words were beginning to sink in.
"It’s easier said than done," he said, with a bitter smile.
"I know. But I also know you have the talent to do it."
The conversation went on for hours, shifting from serious topics to shared memories and stories from your days at Ferrari. It was strange, but comforting, to share that space with him. He’d gone from being the rival who overshadowed you at your lowest to someone you could fully trust.
When he finally stood to leave, Charles paused at the door and looked at you with an expression you hadn’t seen before.
"Thank you for this. I don’t know what I would’ve done without you."
"I’m always here. You know that."
As the door closed behind him, you couldn’t help but smile. Charles was so much more than you’d ever thought. And somehow, he’d brought out the best in you too.
While you were helping Charles find his way in a team that relegated him to second place, you couldn’t ignore the fact that your own demons were still lurking. And, as if that wasn’t enough, Max remained a constant presence both on the track and in your personal life.
Since your move to McLaren, the rivalry with Max had reached a new level. If before you shared moments of camaraderie and confidences, now every interaction was loaded with tension. And not just on the track.
The championship was on fire. You and Max were leading the standings, swapping first and second place race after race. On every circuit, every corner, and every straight, it felt like only the two of you existed. It didn’t matter who else made it to the podium; the battle was always between you and him.
During qualifying, both of you pushed to the limit, but an incident in Q3 left Max without a lap time. As soon as he got out of the car, Max stormed straight toward you, visibly furious.
“What the hell was that?” he snapped, his voice sharp as he closed the distance between you in the paddock.
“What was what?” you asked, raising an eyebrow, though you knew exactly what he was referring to.
“You blocked me on my flying lap.”
“Max, you were too far behind when I started my lap. I didn’t block you.”
“Of course you did!” he insisted, stepping even closer. His blue eyes burned with a mix of frustration and something else you couldn’t quite place.
The argument caught the attention of journalists and members of both teams. You knew that one wrong word could make headlines the next day, so you chose to stay calm.
“If you have a problem, take it up with the stewards, not me,” you said before turning and walking away, leaving Max with the words stuck in his throat.
But the tension wasn’t confined to the track. It had started to bleed into your personal lives. Even though both of you tried to avoid each other outside of race weekends, coincidences were inevitable especially at sponsor events or official meetings.
At one of these events, an FIA gala in Monaco, Max couldn’t resist looking for you in the crowd. When he finally spotted you, you were talking to Charles, laughing at something he’d said. The sight seemed to ignite something in Max, and he couldn’t hold back as he approached.
“Can we talk?” he asked, cutting into the conversation.
Charles glanced at you, his expression a mix of curiosity and caution, before stepping back to let you decide.
“What do you want, Max?” you asked, trying to keep your voice neutral.
“You and Charles, what’s going on between you two?” he asked quietly, though his tone carried an accusatory edge.
“What kind of question is that?” you replied, crossing your arms.
“I don’t know. Maybe I’m losing it, but… every time I see you two together, I can’t help thinking that…”
“That what?” you interrupted, annoyed. “That maybe someone else can actually support me and understand me in this chaos that you chose to ignore?”
Max pressed his lips together, clearly feeling the sting of your words. But instead of responding, he looked away and muttered:
“You still know how to twist everything around.”
The conversation was left unfinished, but the night didn’t end there. Later, as you tried to avoid him, you found Max alone on the terrace of the venue, staring out at the sea, his figure illuminated by the lights.
“Why do you do this?” you asked, walking toward him. Your tone was no longer defiant but tired.
“Do what?” he asked without looking at you.
“Show up, disappear, demand things from me that you can’t even give yourself. You’re still with her, and yet…”
Max closed his eyes, as if your words were too heavy to bear.
“I don’t know how to handle this,” he admitted finally, turning to face you. “You and me… I don’t know how to handle it.”
“Then maybe you should stop trying,” you said, though your voice cracked at the end.
The silence between you was deafening. Too many unsaid emotions, too many decisions both of you refused to make. Finally, Max stepped back.
“It’s easier said than done, isn’t it?”
And with that, he left, leaving you alone on the terrace, feeling like the two of you were trapped in a vicious cycle neither of you knew how to escape.
In the days that followed, you tried to focus on racing and your friendship with Charles, who had become a kind of refuge in the chaos. But every time you saw Max, every time your eyes met in the paddock, you felt the storm lingering, waiting for the right moment to break again.
The rivalry on the track only grew more intense. Max and you raced as if every race was the last, as if the championship depended on who was stronger, more determined, more ruthless. But off the track, you both continued to grapple with the same internal conflict: what you felt for each other and what the world expected of you.
You and Max were the top contenders for the title, and every race turned into a war. The media called it “the battle of the century,” comparing it to the legendary Senna-Prost rivalry. Every overtake, every strategy, every word in a press conference was scrutinized.
At the Brazilian Grand Prix, things came to a head. From the first lap, the fight between you and Max was fierce. You knew every one of his tricks, every weakness, every strength. There were moments when the cars seemed to touch, pushing the limits of competition to the extreme.
On lap 43, you attempted an overtake on the inside of Turn 1, but Max, in his trademark aggressive style, shut the door almost recklessly. Your front tires brushed his, and though both of you managed to maintain control, the incident was enough to set off commentators and social media.
“This is unacceptable!” your engineer shouted over the radio. “We’re reporting it.”
But you didn’t want to win the championship through a penalty.
“Leave it. I’ll settle it on the track,” you said, with a determination that surprised even yourself.
In the end, you finished second, behind Max, but the battle was epic. Fans were divided, some siding with you, others defending Max. But in your mind, one thought started to take root: maybe you’d had enough of this world.
After that race, you decided to take a break. You flew back to your hometown to spend time with your family, seeking comfort in their presence. One night, sitting in the garden of your parents’ house, you opened up to your mom.
“I don’t know how much longer I can do this,” you admitted, staring at the stars. “Every race feels like a battle not just on the track, but inside me, too.”
Your mom, always wise and patient, looked at you with gentle understanding.
“Then why do you keep going?”
You stayed silent for a moment, searching for the words.
“Because it’s all I’ve ever known. Since I was a kid, my entire world has revolved around racing. But lately… lately, I feel like I want something more. I want a normal life, a family. I want to stop fighting all the time.”
“What’s stopping you?.”
“I don’t know. Maybe it’s because I don’t know what that life would look like, or who it would be with.”
It was the first time you’d said those words out loud. The idea of giving up Formula 1, of walking away from everything you’d worked so hard for, was terrifying but also freeing.
You couldn’t help but think of Max. Even though your relationship was broken, and the rivalry had reached its peak, there was still something about him pulling you in. But the question that haunted you was: did he feel the same?
Max was still with his partner, at least publicly. But his actions, his looks, even his comments during races, hinted at something more. Could you build a life with someone who seemed incapable of facing his own feelings?
“Maybe it’s not Max,” you muttered to yourself that night, curled up on the couch in your childhood bedroom. “Maybe it’s someone else. Or maybe I just need to find myself first.”
When you returned to the paddock for the US Grand Prix, something had shifted inside you. You hadn’t made any final decisions, but you knew this chapter of your life was nearing its end. Still, as long as you were in F1, you were going to give it everything you had.
In the pre-race interviews, journalists bombarded you with questions about your rivalry with Max.
“Is it personal?,” one of them asked with a sly grin.
“Everything in Formula 1 is personal,” you replied with a wry smile, offering no further explanation.
Max, sitting next to you at the press conference, shot you a sideways glance but said nothing. The tension between you two was palpable, even in front of the cameras.
That race turned into yet another head-to-head battle between the two of you. During the final laps, the radio chatter grew more intense.
“He’s losing rear grip. Push him.”
“I already am!,” you snapped, pushing the car to its limit.
In the last lap, you pulled off a risky overtake that left everyone stunned. You won the race, and as you stepped out of the car, you felt a mix of euphoria and exhaustion.
While celebrating with your team, your thoughts drifted back to your conversation with your mom. Maybe this was the ending you’d been searching for, or maybe it was just the start of something new.
Max watched you from the podium, his blue eyes filled with something you couldn’t decipher. In the crowd, you couldn’t help but wonder: could you ever leave it all behind, even him?
The next race, under the scorching Qatar sun, felt heavier, both in the air and in the paddock. Everything about this second-to-last race of the season felt like a countdown to something inevitable. You and Max were tied in points, both neck and neck after a season of epic battles, controversies, and moments that had pushed you to the edge emotionally.
The tension in the McLaren garage was palpable. Though your relationship with your team was excellent, you knew the pressure was on you. Lando tried to lighten the mood with his usual sense of humor, but even his energy couldn’t cut through the wall of your thoughts.
“Come on, don’t be so serious. We could both use a win today,” he joked while adjusting his gloves.
“Sure, but if you win, I won’t complain,” you replied with a faint smile, though you both knew that wasn’t true. This race meant everything to you.
Meanwhile, Charles had sent a message that morning: ‘Remember, one race at a time. You can do this. You’ve already proven you’re the best.’ His unwavering support had become one of the few things keeping you mentally afloat during this emotional rollercoaster.
From qualifying, it was clear this race would be another direct battle between you and Max. Both of you blocked every attempt the other made to set the fastest time, ending up on the front row: Max on pole, you in second.
The start was clean but intense. From the first corner, Max showed his usual aggression, shutting you out in an attempt to stay ahead. But you knew this game; he had taught you how to play it. You used the slipstream on the main straight, and on lap five, you overtook him with a surgical move in turn 6.
For a moment, the world seemed to stop as you led the race, but you knew the real battle had just begun.
Midway through the race, things heated up. Teams began to play with strategies, and tire choices became crucial. On lap 32, as you exited the pits after a tire change, Max appeared beside you. The overtake that followed was so tight the two cars brushed slightly, sparking an explosion of shouting over the radio.
“That was way too close!,” your engineer protested, but you were too focused to respond.
Max didn’t back down. In the following laps, he kept relentless pressure on you, looking for any weakness in your defense. On lap 48, he attempted an inside overtake on a tight corner, but you managed to hold your position with a move that left everyone on the edge of their seats.
In the final laps, your mind was torn between the adrenaline of the race and the mental exhaustion you’d been carrying all season. Max was glued to your diffuser, but he made a small mistake on the second-to-last corner, giving you just enough of a margin to cross the finish line first.
Your team’s shout over the radio was deafening:
“Victory! You’re incredible, what a race!.”
But you didn’t have time to celebrate. As you parked the car in parc fermé, reality hit you: this victory only meant you were still tied in points, and everything would come down to the final race.
The journalists were in a frenzy. In the post-race press conference, the questions came at you like bullets.
“How do you handle the pressure heading into the last race?.”
“Calmly. One race at a time.” you replied, echoing Charles’ words, even though calm was the last thing you felt.
Max, sitting beside you, spoke after you.
“I always knew this season would be decided in the end. I’m ready for it.”
His gaze met yours for a second, and in that brief moment, the tension between you two felt more personal than ever.
Back at the hotel, you tried to disconnect, but it was impossible. Your mind raced, replaying every detail of the race and anticipating what was to come. Charles called to congratulate you but also to remind you to rest.
“Don’t let this consume you, okay?,” he said, his tone serious but kind. “You’ve done an amazing job, and you have everything you need to win.”
“Thanks, Charles. Really. I don’t know what I’d do without you.”
“I don’t know what you’d do without me either,” he joked, managing to make you laugh.
However, when you hung up, you kept staring at the ceiling of your room, wondering if you were truly ready to face everything the final race was about to bring.
Even though you hadn’t seen Max since the press conference, you knew he was just as restless as you. Despite everything that had happened between you two, you couldn’t help but think about him, about how this rivalry had consumed everything you once shared.
Is this really what you wanted? To keep fighting, keep competing, keep losing yourself in the process?
You closed your eyes, trying to calm your thoughts. Just one race left. One final battle. And after that, maybe you’d finally have the answers you’d been searching for.
The last week of the season was a whirlwind of emotions, preparations, and a tension so thick you could cut it with a knife. The entire paddock was on edge. Everything would be decided in Abu Dhabi.
Escaping the media’s attention was impossible. Cameras followed you everywhere, looking for any reaction that could turn into a headline. The atmosphere at McLaren was optimistic but tense. You’d brought the team to its highest point in years, and that was already a monumental achievement. But for you, it wasn’t enough. You wanted that title.
During the press conferences, the questions were relentless. You and Max were the center of attention. Though both of you kept calm outwardly, the discomfort between you was obvious. Every word, every gesture was analyzed by the journalists.
“How do you feel heading into this decisive race?” they asked you during one of the press rounds.
“Focused. This is what we’ve worked for all year. I just want to do my job and see what happens,” you replied diplomatically, though inside your heart was racing.
Max, sitting next to you, simply said:
“I’m focused too. We both know what’s at stake. May the best win.”
There was a moment when your eyes met, but it was fleeting. There were so many words left unsaid between you, and the weight of that silence felt unbearable.
In the final strategy meeting with your team, the tension was palpable. You knew every decision would matter, every detail could be the difference between winning and losing. Your race engineer, always meticulous, reviewed the plans calmly, but even you could tell he was nervous.
“I believe in you. You’ve proven you can do this,” he said, placing a hand on your shoulder before you left the garage.
Lando, on the other hand, tried to lighten the mood with a joke.
“If you don’t win, can I keep the consolation trophy?” he said with a cheeky grin.
“There won’t be a consolation trophy,” you replied with a smirk.
That day, Yas Marina Circuit was lit up like a jewel in the desert, and the atmosphere was electric. Before getting in the car, you took a moment for yourself. You took a deep breath, closed your eyes, and visualized every corner, every move. You knew you had to give it everything.
The anthem played, and the world seemed to pause for a moment. Max was beside you on the grid. Though you didn’t speak, you could feel his presence, his energy. You both knew this race wasn’t just about the championship but also everything that had happened between you.
The start was flawless. From the first corner, you and Max were locked in an intense battle. Neither of you gave an inch. Every lap was a fight, every overtake a statement. The rest of the drivers might as well have been racing in a different category; it was as if this championship was meant to be decided between just the two of you.
On lap 35, a slow pit stop almost cost you the race, but you quickly recovered, overtaking Max in a spectacular move on lap 42. The crowd went wild.
But Max wasn’t going to give up. On lap 50, he took the lead back, forcing you slightly off the track. It was an aggressive move, but clean—classic Max.
In the final five laps, both of you were at the limit. Your hands trembled slightly from the adrenaline, but your focus was unshakable. In the penultimate lap, you found a gap on the main straight and passed Max on the inside. This time, he had no answer.
When you crossed the finish line, the world seemed to stop for a moment before exploding in celebration. You’d done it. You were a world champion.
Your team screamed over the radio, their voices full of tears and joy.
“You’re the world champion! You did it!”
As you climbed out of the car, the emotions overwhelmed you. Your team surrounded you, celebrating. Lando was one of the first to hug you, shouting:
“I told you! I knew you’d do it!”
As you stood with your team, your eyes instinctively searched for Max. He was there, watching you from a distance. Slowly, he approached, his steps a mix of pride and resignation.
When he reached you, he extended his hand.
“Congratulations,” he said, his voice calm but heavy with emotion.
“Thanks, Max,” you replied, shaking his hand. For a moment, his eyes reflected something that looked like regret, but he said nothing more. He turned and walked away, disappearing into the crowd.
That night was magical. There was laughter, tears, toasts. The tension of the entire season melted away in a whirlwind of emotions. Charles called to congratulate you, and his genuine happiness was like a balm to your heart.
“I knew you could do it. I’m so proud of you,” he said, his voice full of sincerity.
As the celebration went on, you took a moment to reflect. You’d reached the pinnacle of the world, but you knew this was just the beginning of a new chapter in your life. The future was full of uncertainty, but that night, you decided to enjoy the present, savoring every moment of your triumph.
The emotional hangover the next day was overwhelming. It wasn’t physical, nor from the celebration, but a deep emptiness you hadn’t expected to feel after achieving the dream of your life. You’d won the Formula 1 World Championship, the peak of your career, but instead of feeling complete, you felt lost.
You woke up in your hotel room, sunlight streaming through the curtains. Around you, there were remnants of the celebration: a half-empty champagne glass on the table, the dress you wore last night carelessly thrown over a chair. The trophy, shiny and imposing, sat on the nightstand, but as you looked at it, you didn’t feel the euphoria you’d imagined for years.
You got up and walked to the mirror. The reflection staring back at you was different from the one you were used to. It wasn’t just the physical exhaustion from the season; it was something deeper a sense of disconnect with yourself.
You spent the morning avoiding your phone, even though you knew the notifications had to be flooding in. Messages of congratulations, articles from the media, videos of the highlights... but you weren’t ready to face it yet. Instead of feeling celebrated, you felt isolated.
The idea had been lingering in your mind for weeks, maybe even months. The crash, the endless emotional struggles, the pressure to always be the best... it had all left its mark. And now, after achieving what you’d always dreamed of, you realized something: you didn’t want to keep going anymore.
During breakfast with your parents, you decided to share your thoughts. You’d avoided bringing it up before, afraid of their reactions, but now felt like the right time.
“I’ve been thinking about something... important,” you said, breaking the silence while fiddling with your coffee mug.
Your mom looked at you with concern.
“Are you okay? Does this have to do with Formula 1?”
You shook your head.
“No… well, partly, yes. Like I said, I’ve been reflecting, and I think... I don’t want to keep racing anymore.”
The silence that followed was heavy. Your dad, ever the pragmatic one, was the first to speak.
“Are you sure? You’ve worked your whole life for this.”
“I know, Dad. But I’ve also given it everything I had. And now I feel like if I keep going, it’ll just be out of habit, not because I really want to.”
Your mom took your hand.
“We’ve always wanted you to be happy, no matter what you do. If you feel this is the time to stop, we’ll support you.”
That conversation was the turning point. Over the following days, you talked to your team, Lando, and even Charles, who, although surprised, understood your decision. Lando tried to convince you to stay for one more year.
“Are you really going to leave me here alone? We were just starting to have fun!” he joked, though there was genuine sadness in his eyes.
“It’s your time, Lando. I’m sure you’ll do amazing things,” you replied, hugging him.
Charles, on the other hand, was more serious.
“I didn’t see this coming, but I get it. Just… promise me you won’t disappear completely.”
“I won’t. I’ll always be here, even if it’s just as a spectator.”
That same night, after hours of figuring out how to word it, you sat in front of the camera in your room. You were nervous, not about the decision, but about how the world would react. You wore a simple t-shirt, your hair tied back. You wanted the message to be honest, without distractions.
‘Hi, everyone. I know this isn’t the video you were expecting after the incredible season we just had, but I wanted to share something important with you...’
You took a deep breath before continuing.
‘I’ve decided to retire from Formula 1. This year has been the most exciting but also the most exhausting of my life. Winning the championship was a dream come true, but it also made me realize it’s time to close this chapter and start a new one.’
You paused, letting your words sink in.
‘This wasn’t an easy decision. Formula 1 has been my life for so many years that I barely remember what it was like before. But I also know I want other things. I want time for myself, for my family, to explore who I am outside of this sport.’
Your voice wavered slightly, but you kept going.
‘I want to thank my team, my teammates, my rivals, and, of course, the fans. Without your support, none of this would’ve been possible.’
When you finished, you turned off the camera and fell onto the bed. It wasn’t immediate relief, but there was something freeing about putting an end to that chapter.
The video was released the next day and, as expected, caused a storm. The media debated your decision, fans flooded social media with messages of support and gratitude, and some even expressed disbelief.
Charles sent you a text:
“I saw it. I’m proud of you. You’ll do amazing things, no matter where you go.”
And Max, who had avoided talking to you since the last race, also sent a short message:
“You were the best. I always knew it. I hope you find what you’re looking for and that you forgive me.”
Even though his words were few, they left a lump in your throat.
That night, while staring at the stars from your balcony, you realized that, even though the future was uncertain, you were ready to face it.
Weeks passed since your decision, and life finally seemed to find its rhythm. The constant noise of racing and the pressure to be the best slowly faded. But deep down, you felt like something or someone was still missing.
Your house, now quieter than ever, became your sanctuary. You spent those days focusing on yourself, resting, discovering what you truly liked outside the track. But even in the peace of your own thoughts, Max lingered in your mind. He wasn’t a constant thought, but you’d remember him, especially when news of his breakup with his girlfriend started circulating. That, unexpectedly, stirred something in you, a knot in your stomach.
Late one night, your phone buzzed. The name on the screen made you hesitate for a second. Max.
The message was short, direct.
“Can I see you? I need to talk to you.”
You didn’t think much about it. You knew this conversation needed to happen eventually. You’d been avoiding it, but now it felt like the universe was putting it in your path.
You agreed to meet at your house the next day, and when the door opened, there he was. Max, with that intense, direct gaze that had known you for years. Now, though, there was something different something more vulnerable.
“Hi,” he said, his voice softer than usual.
You invited him in, and he settled on the couch like it was his own home. The silence between you was heavy, filled with unresolved emotions.
“I don’t know where to start,” he began, with a nervous smile.
“Neither do I,” you replied, sitting across from him.
The two of you just sat there, watching each other, waiting for the other to make the first move. Finally, Max spoke.
“Breaking up with her... wasn’t easy. I knew it wasn’t fair, but I couldn’t keep lying to myself. The truth is… I never stopped thinking about you.”
Your heart skipped a beat, and a lump formed in your throat. You didn’t know what to say. Max, always so sure of himself, seemed completely different now.
“Max... I don’t know what you want me to say. We’ve been on such different paths. You… always so focused on F1, on competing… and me too. Things were never easy between us, and now… I don’t know if any of this makes sense.”
He nodded, understanding what you meant.
“I know. I’ve been an idiot. I thought I could keep everything under control, but in the end… I lost what mattered most.”
He looked at you intently, and in his eyes was a sincerity that made you question everything you’d been thinking until that moment.
“But that doesn’t mean I forgot about you. It doesn’t mean I don’t care about what we had. If anything, it’s taken me time to realize that… maybe there’s something here we never really figured out.”
You stayed silent, processing his words. The tension was thick, but something in his voice made you want to listen, even though you knew the situation was complicated.
“And what is it that you want, Max?” you asked, your voice a bit shaky.
“I don’t know,” he admitted with a small, sad smile. “I’m not asking you to forgive me or to go back to what we had. But I think… we should at least try. Not now, not right away, but… maybe we can see what happens, without the pressures of F1, without everything that kept us apart.”
You got up and walked to the window, staring outside without really seeing anything. Max watched you from the couch, waiting for your response. The atmosphere between you had shifted somehow, and for the first time, it felt like you had both let go of the fight to always be the best.
You turned to look at him.
“I’m not sure I’m ready to start something new. After all, I made the decision to retire for a reason, Max. I’ve spent so much time on F1 that now I need to rediscover myself. And I don’t know what I want.”
Max got up from the couch, slowly approaching you.
“I get it. I’m not expecting it to be easy, or for everything to be resolved right now. But I want you to know I’m not pressuring you. I just… wanted you to know that, no matter what happens, I’ll be here. And if someday you decide what we had is worth another shot, I’ll be ready to try, no matter the past.”
A deep silence followed his words. You knew there was still so much to figure out between the two of you, but something about his attitude, about his willingness to wait, struck a chord within you.
You didn’t say anything else. You walked toward him, and for a moment, words weren’t necessary. The look in your eyes said it all. Still, there were no promises, no certainties just a silent understanding that, maybe, the future could be different. Maybe even together.
“We’ll see what happens,” you finally said.
Max nodded, not pushing, knowing that time would have to decide the course for both of you. And with that response, the future remained suspended between you, open, uncertain, but carrying a possibility that hadn’t existed before.

⋆˚࿔ i did something bad 𝜗𝜚˚⋆
The kiss that started sweet and gentle turned into a passionate and steamy kiss in a fraction of a second. Franco felt kind of desperate. And to be fair, he was. He has waited his whole life for this moment to happen. Or at least all of these years since he met you. But he was convinced he won’t ever feel like this for any other girl in his entire life. He dated girls, fucked a few, played with them sometimes, tried to make it work. But none of them felt like you, laughed like you, thought like you, joked like you. None of them were you. And what was the craziest thing to him was that he had never tasted you. Not like this. He felt raised to heaven blessed by the gods. He felt like a kid who behaved properly and Santa brought him all of the presents he asked for during the year. A dream came true.
His hands were all over your back and hips. His touch was warm and determined. He felt like he wanted to remember how you felt, the shape of you under his touch, how your skin felt, how warm he made you feel.
His kisses were tracing a road down your neck. His lips were soft and wet. They made your skin crawl. Your fingers in his hair and shoulders trying to remain stood under his embrace. His skin was soft and his perfume was leaving you drunker by its whiskey scent. That smell defined him very well in your opinion. His skin was on fire. You couldn’t help but feel things you aren’t supposed to feel with your best friend. Well, you were doing things you’re not supposed to do with your bestie either.
Your breath was heavy. Your heart rate elevated. He came back to your lips and the way he kisses you gently again burnt your body. You felt a heat you haven’t felt in a long time for anyone. If you didn’t remember to be this intense before. Franco was franco. And that implied that everything was different. Unique. He wasn’t like other guys. I mean, he was the most cheerful guy you have ever met. You couldn’t stop laughing around him. It  was impossible not to or have a serious conversation. But at the same time he was such a great listener. When you told him about Charles that you ended up crying, he was the most comforting person. You knew at that moment your friendship made a turn. A turn into one of the most precious relationships you have in your life. He was so comprehensive. It is actually so rare to meet someone like that in this fucked up society these days.
And for some reason or maybe for all of those reasons, this felt really wrong. You didn’t want to hurt him. You always knew he liked you, of course you did. It was obvious. The way he looked at you. All out of context presents or compliments. All of his invitations to every grand prix during the year. The facetime calls at random times in the day just to check in. and you liked all of that but always tried to make sure you didn’t play with his feelings. Respecting spaces and distances. Codes. He was really important to you, you just couldn’t risk him just like that. Just for a kiss or sex. He deserved to be so happy with someone 100% into him. And you kinda hated destiny for making him like you when you were stuck with Charles and always into someone else (even failing every time).
But now you hate yourself even more. Not only because you liked to torture yourself in a really twisted way. But also because you were actually kissing him and touching him in not a friendly way. Not the way you’re supposed to touch him. Or to kiss him. Or to spend your time with him. This was so wrong. You knew this would lead to drama. And the worst part is that you couldn’t stop. And maybe you didn’t want to. And why didn’t you? What is your brain planning to do? Making every situation you’re in worse than the previous one.
And it was the worst scenario possible. You don’t know how you both ended up in Franco's room. His shirt was already off. Your lips were kissing his stomach going down. It was the best situation for him, that’s for sure. You promised to never get this drunk ever again. You stood up after reaching his boxers with your lips. And kissed him again like you wanted to rescued yourself from fuck it all up but at the same time not stopping at all. You were driving Franco insane and for a moment he felt a bit empty. Was this the beginning of something? Or was it just a once in a lifetime night? Thinking about all of this started hunting him. You have never given him signs that you liked him back. But you were one of his best friends. His hands grabbed your head possessively bringing you closer to him starting to lead you to his bed. You followed him, letting him do whatever he wanted with you.
Were you ready to do this again?
Surprising as it may sound, you haven’t had sex in a very long time. You liked to have fun with yourself and explore yourself. But it was hard for you to feel something towards someone and desire them this way. Because the only one who used to turn you on was charles. And there he was again in your head. He was always there hunting you. Franco pushed you softly into his bed climbing up on you. And that’s when you woke up from this trance you couldn’t quite comprehend. He was about to undress you when you pushed him again as softly as you could because you were now exasperated about the situation you put yourself under. Franco looked at you scared. He felt he has really fucked it up.
“y/n i’m sorry, please. Perdon, I didn't mean to.. I’m sorry” he said, getting up and pulling his shirt on again as fast as he could. You tried to adjust yourself heading out the bedroom. You couldn’t face him now. You felt terrible about yourself. You didn’t know how to handle this situation. You were too drunk. But you also knew you wouldn’t know how to deal with this sober either. “y/n wait, please. Let’s talk” he could grab your hand to stop you from leaving the bedroom making you face him. You felt so embarrassed. You felt like a monster. You looked at his face. He was such a good guy and yet here you are about to break his heart. Why didn’t you stop? Why did you let him do this? You knew it was not only your responsibility, it was his as well but still.
“I'm sorry fran, this shouldn’t have happened. I'm really sorry” when you said those words you could see how his face changed into a one that even broke your heart. He dropped your hand. He knew. He fucking knew you didn’t like him. Then why would you do this? And on his birthday?
You sprinted out of that room immediately. We can say you almost ran away from him. But the reality was that you wanted to run away from yourself and your stupid ass decisions who fucked everything up each single time. The hallway down to where the party was being held never felt so infinite. You knew your anxiety was becoming a bit too much for you at that moment. Catastrophic scenarios were playing on and on in your mind as you took each step down the stairs. The pressure in your chest increases when you see the people at the party. You felt like they were looking at you, judging. Laughing in your face. Howpathetic could you be? Not getting over your only ex fro more than 10 years, then almost fuck your friend thhat you wasn’t sure if you liked him like that for real or not,  then wanting to be over everything and then fucking everything up. You didn't know how to handle these situations. You felt like a teenager again. Too many mistakes. Too confusing. That made you feel ashamed of yourself. You were a 32 years old woman, acting like 17 years old, fucking up friendships while you couldn’t stop thinking of your ex. And that’s when you wanted to throw up.
You didn’t want to find your friends. You didn’t want to tell them how you fuck it up with the one guy (once again) that is good for you. How you wasted his time and feelings. You felt like a monster. Like you played with him on purpose even if you actually didn’t want to. You were way too harsh on yourself sometimes. You needed to get out of there just like you got away when you first saw Charles again in that restaurant (or well, now it’s a coffee shop).
It was running away from your fears, you couldn’t confront them. It was running away from you. You hated yourself. You couldn’t think straight and clear about yourself most of the time. The only moment you trusted yourself was when writing. And you also doubted yourself very much on it. You couldn’t win. Your self-confidence didn’t exist. You were sure about it. People were dancing while you were pushing them a bit to walk through the party out to the garden. You need fresh air in your brain as soon as possible. Or you were about to become insane if you didn’t. People said things to you but you didn’t hear. Your eyes locked on the floor. Your stomach was in your throat. The image of Charles stuck in your brain.
I met someone. I met someone. I met someone. I met someone. I met someone.
His lips moved, pronouncing those damn three words to your face. As if they were nothing. As if you were nothing at all for him. And maybe you were. You couldn’t imagine Franco saying those things to you, for example. Or maybe men were equal? Maybe you needed to experiment with girls. Maybe they are less complicated and more open. But maybe you were the problem. Too many thoughts per second. You jumped out of every single boat you ended up in. You didn’t know anymore. In your brain, things are too complicated and you know all too well you will need years to repair the damage made to it. From your dad and mum, to Charles and every single other guy you mate. To Franco and to this balcony where you would find someone maybe ready to love you like you matter, like you deserve to feel loved, like you’re amazing and beautiful. Then you were sure you were completely insane. There was no way you were always thinking about someone saving you from yourself. But there you were hoping to meet the love of your life in that gallery outside the party in Franco's house. Maybe writing and your imagination was rotting your brain. You thought about retiring and working in a library as a normal person would do. You didn’t know why you were thinking all of these things suddenly.
Maybe you were tired and frustrated. You just gave up when you finally got to the garden. The cold air of London fills your lungs, helping you with your anxiety. Your body heat dropped. Your sweaty hands got dry and cold. Your nose is red. Your eyes closed. You were doing your breathing meditation. Your heart palpitations didn’t stop though. And they were fast. Faster than Charles getting over you and everything you built. Faster than you ruining the friendship with franco. Faster than you waiting for someone to save you. Your life sucked. You really didn’t want to think about it like that. But you did. Most times you just couldn't see positive things in it. You felt like a failure. A loser. You didn’t have a lover nor a family. A loser that’s what you were. A complete failure. You had almost no family as well. No father, no mother. Just a brother and a sister who lived on the other side of the world and barely talked to you. Your only family was agostina, your best friend. And she was everything you were not. She has the perfect lover with whom she built a beautiful family of five. Her kids were lovely. She was gorgeous and the greatest person you knew. She was exactly everything you were not. But you didn't hate her. Of course you didn't. You would never think of her like that. It made you as sad as happy for her. Sad for you. Happy for her.
Why can’t you live something like that?
“Hey, you okay?” you jumped a little scared because of the sudden interruption to your thoughts and sadness. You turned to your side to find that guy. I think it was Lando's name or something like that Nikola said a few hours ago. When he brought you back to reality you realized you were crying hard. Your face bathed in tears. Cold and puffy. His face was concerned. His eyes are shiny, so blue and green. You found his face so pretty to look at. Alcohol was still in your veins, otherwise you wouldn’t be here crying so dramatically. You would try to hide it. Always.
⋆˚࿔ let it happen 𝜗𝜚˚⋆
Your eyes were on his eyes. Yours were red and puffy. His red is tired and shiny. You stayed in silence for a moment. You answered his question when he saw your face. Something in him cracked for some reason. Oh, he did know you very well. He saw you on that balcony and now that he has you right in front of him, he couldn’t believe you being more beautiful than on that day, but you actually are. He promised Charles he wouldn’t even try but he talked to Carlos about it. Carlos wanted Charles to move on but he was making a move on you and was crossing the line.
He looked down to his water bottle on his right hand. “Do you want some? Maybe you feel better” he said with a deep voice. He was nervous as hell. Alcohol in his veins as like in yours. He saw your smile. Your face was so pretty. You looked so cute with the boca juniors shirton. He had one as well. He didn’t think they were his colors, blue and yellow, not his thing. But you looked so pretty in them. All of the girls at the party were dressed looking hot as hell. But you and your friends looked cute. Relaxed outfits for the win. And that made you look all so attractive or at least for him. He recognized you a few hours ago. He was kinda shocked to see you there because he has never seen you near franco like ever. You didn’t go to the races nor comment on Franco's posts. Or anything at all. Then here you are. He saw kissing him. He saw you two going up the stairs. Alcohol didn’t let him analizy things properly even if he tried his best in doing so.
Your fingers that grabbed the bottle from his hand, brushed his sending electricity throughout his arm. He smiled gently at you watching you drink from it.
“Thank you, and sorry you had to see me cry” you told him, giving his bottle back and he smiled so pretty, shaking his head. You found him so attractive. You were just trying not to be so obvious. Also, you were worried to look like a slut if he saw you kissing Franco before. But why did you care so much? Why were you thinking all of these things about him?
“Oh no, don’t be sorry. You still look cute tho” he said giggling a bit making you laugh a bit as well. You shook your head not agreeing with him.
“Thank you again, but no need to lie about that tho” you told him a little funny.
“I promise I'm not lying. You're pretty even crying” he confessed, making you blush. “You okay? Need to talk or something?” he asked to checkon you even if you were strangers. “Im lando by the way” he introduced himself so this wasn’t that weird.
“I’m y/n. Nice to meet you. I think I'm better now, I just made a lot of stupid decisions throughout my life that now alcohol just reminds me how much of a loser I am” you were honest. More honest than you would be with anyone. You just blamed the alcohol.
“Hey, I don't think you’re a loser y/n. I mean, I know we don’t know each other at all. But for me, you don’t look like a loser at all” he expressed. You looked out to the garden in front of you a bit ashamed.
“Appearances can lie, you know? I’m a loser, I promise you. I’m still stuuckin a fucking restaurante knowing all too well i should’ve move on years ago. But here I am. Fucking up friendships and any opportunity i have to get better and be happy. I just hate myself so much. I won’t ever be happy” you gave up. You no longer cared about what people would think. You didn’t care if he thought you were crazy for telling him so much private stuff. You barely know his name. But there you were comfortable enough to confess your depression to him. He analyzed you. Every detail of your face. Each word you used to describe yourself.
“I don’t think that makes you a loser still. I think you’re brave enough to tell a stranger how you feel and in my opinion, that takes strength and confidence. And i think you will be happy, you just need to let yourself be” his words hung on the air between you two. Why was a stranger talking to her? Why was he saying things she needed to here? Why his words were important? You were sure he  knew how much of a mess you were. It shows. You were sure. But still he was here. Right when you want someone here waiting for you ready to save you.  Is this who will save you? Are you out of your mind for thinking like this about him?
Delusion was thinking he will be just like charles wright? You had no idea who this guy was but still you compared him to charles. Because you didn’t want to date Charles again or anyone like him. Or did you? You didn’t know how you felt about all of this. About charles. About yourself. About this guy you don't even know and you want him already to save you just because he called you brave and strong and pretty. Was that really enough for you? Was that the standard you had for yourself? He could be a serial killer right? But you could save him. He could love you. And you would forget about charles. About his touch. About his voice and laugh. About his jokes and moans. About his perfume. About his family and friends. About his cars. About everything related to him.
But was it fair to love someone to stop loving someone else?
Did you still love Charles?
You looked at him again. Your eyes connected. He smiled shyly. You did as well. Maybe you could let this guy ruin you just like Charles did, just because of his face, and his voice and what he said to you without even knowing you. You should get your shit together. You still reeling that fucking monaguesque guy. But at this point you didn’t care anymore. Or at least that’s what you thought. He got closer and kissed your cheek, that took you by surprise but you liked it. Probably way too much.
“I know without knowing you that you’re amazing. You just need to believe it. I’m sure you’ll find someone who sees you” he added and your smile became wider.
“Thank you, lando.wow. Any stranger said so many nice things about me” you half joked shyly and his cheeks went red. His giggles were the cutest sound you have heard lately. Where was this guy?
Then you remembered Franco and that this guy probably is his friend. And your back at your self hate again.
Why did everything have to be so difficult?
Why do you have to make so many mistakes at once?
“y/n, we need your help” Dottie's voice interrupted you two. Her voice seemed worried. “Betty is way too drunk, it’s better if we go home now” she explained, a little suspicious of your both body languages. You nodded.
“Alright, let’s go. Nice to meet you Lando, hope to talk to you another time though so it’s not that depressing. I promise im fun” you said a bit funny but hurried. Your friend first, always. You kissed his cheek quickly. He laughed about your comment.
“Oh yea, she is,” Dottie added, supporting you in a smile.
“Hope to see you again sometime, Y/n. good luck with your friend” he said to both of you and after smiling at him you went into the party again.
“D, I think I'm in love,” you said excitedly.
“What?”

⋆˚࿔ the fucking tuesday 𝜗𝜚˚⋆
Arriving in monaco again at 11 am has never felt so good in your entire life. A trip that started like a dream to remember, turned into a nightmare you couldn’t forget but all you wanted to was to forget about it. Just pretend it never existed and erase everything you did wrong that Saturday night.
You missed your house (your safe place),and you needed its comfort more than you would like to admit. Your brain was a mess. You couldn’t stop thinking about charles driving you to your friend’s house then the memory just fading away and inturning into him saying non stop i met someone. You felt you were going insane when you remembered Franco's skin on yours and how good and warm it felt. How you kissed his abs. And then how you got so scared. His face was printed in ink in your subconscious. You could only see sadness, shame, and a bit of hatred. You were sure at that moment he hated you. Like you humiliate him a bit. You felt so bad about it you couldn’t even face him. You really wanted to say sorry but you just didn’t want to see him straight in the eyes. Shame was tattooed all over your body. How could you?
Then your mind was reminded of Lando's existence and you just wanted to punch yourself in the face. What the hell happened with you at that party? Was the fernet that Franco prepared? You wanted to blame anything except yourself. You didn’t understand yourself either. Like your feelings and thoughts couldn’t agree on anything. Like you had split personality issues.
Yes, you liked lando way too much probably in those few minutes at the gallery. But then there was Franco that you now were confused about how you felt about him. Because you really liked to kiss him. To touch him. To feel him close to you in that way.
And then there was still charles.
You were really tired of thinking already you just had to put taylor swift on your headphones.you took the bus that left you one block away from your house. You don't want to call anyone to pick you up. You texted A and she told you that. You didn’t understand why she did it. But it overwhelmed you for sure. You just wanted to retreat from life like forever.
When you finally got home you went straight into bed. When you touched your pillow you started crying. And that’s how you fell asleep scared to have another nightmare.
⋆˚࿔ 𝜗𝜚˚⋆
Charles watched Carlos leaving his phone on the counter with a weird face “everything alright mate?” he asked. Carlos nodded and smiled.
“Yeah, did you send the invitation to everyone you know?” he asked, grabbing the box with vodka bottles and taking them to the fridge.
“Yeah, it’s gonna be a crazy wild night” Charles said excitedly trying to not let his anxiety control his mood right now. He wanted to have fun and purposely forget about everything with alcohol. A lot of it. As much as possible.
⋆˚࿔ 𝜗𝜚˚⋆
The music was so loud that Charles could barely listen to what the blonde girl in front of him was talking about but he didn’t care that much. He was already bored by the third girl Carlos introduced him to. He knows Carlos just has good intentions but he was already convinced no one will captivate him the way you did. Not even if they tried to imitate you. Since he saw you again he couldn’t forget your scent. The way you smiled to your nephews. How you treated them and how he was confused for a moment if they were your children. He always knew you wanted to be a mother and for what he saw he was sure you would be the best one out there. He wanted to forget about you he really did. But he was also sure life hated him. He wanted to rebuild his life and leave behind the damage he caused, but then there was you again in that fucking restaurant. And in that moment he knew all too well it would drive him insane. And he felt like it. He believed it.
The girl notices he wasn’t paying attention to her. Charles was playing with his glass of whiskey. Her face looked annoyed and disappointed. Charles didn’t care. She told him she needed to go to the bathroom and disappeared for the rest of the night. He drank his whole glass in one take. He just wanted to drown in alcohol right there and vaish from life. From everyone who knew him.
He saw Carlos dancing la macarena with his group of spanish friends that came for the holidays. He was enjoying himself around. Rebecca, his girlfriend, was there as well, matching hia freak. And for a moment he felt something he never felt before and he didn't like it at all. He felt envious. He wanted to have his life. Be him. Have the girl of his dreams dancing around with him. His friends were here but not with him. And he didn’t even like to dance. And don't have anyone to have sex with. Then he felt miserable. Angry with life itself.he was disappointed. He felt he let down everyone in his life. And the proof was that damn book she wrote. He was a coward. And everyone knew about it; they just didn't know it was him all along. And when the truth comes out then his life will be ended.
He swallowed hard and stood up to grab more whiskey. This time he was drinking from the bottle. He pushed himself aside from the party and sat near the pool even if he was freezing. He didn’t care anymore if he got sick or died. He was extreme. He looked at your balcony and wanted to cry. He wanted to cry like a child. Throw punches and scream. He felt there was no way to fix his life. He regretted breaking you so much. He always knew this was everything to you. You were so caring and always there for him and his whole family. He also knew he broke his mum. She loves you deeply. You were like her daughter, the one she never had. The one he and dad would have loved to have if they could choose the sex of their children. Remembering his dad broke him. He started crying. If he was here he knew he would be disappointed in him. Not because of his career (he made history) but because he isn’t with a good woman. He doesn't have kids either. And he now believed he didn't even have a future.
He looked again at your balcony. The lights were off. He didn’t know if you were there or not. If you had a lover. Or even if you have him blocked on social media. And that’s when curiosity won over him. What if he tried to search for your name on instagram? He was sure someone he knew, knew you as well. Monaco is too little to not have those coincidences on the daily.
He searched the first letters of your name and then saw that his ex, alexandra followed you. He felt weird about it and his face showed confusion with his eyebrows. He clicked on your profile and started stalking you. You still paint and have a piano. You used to play piano together. Actually, you taught him. You were the best professor he had ever had. He smiled looking at pictures of random dogs you found on the streets and with your nephews. You built a new family away from your actual family. That made him happy for a second. He knew after both of your parents died, you didn’t get along so well with your siblings. But he didn’t know if it was still like that. He saw how successful you were. How your book was a bestseller and how it would be a movie produced by universal. He was surprised. He would have never expected this outcome. Back in the day you were an art teacher for children and had a studio where you gave those lessons. Children loved you so much. He remembered their bright smiles when the parents came around to pick them up. He admired you so much for it. He even fantasizes that one day that face so bright and happy will be the one your children will have everytime they look at their mother. He wanted to be a father with you. But then alex came around and fucked it all up. Or well he actually did. And he still couldn’t understand why he did it.
Alex Was beautiful, he couldn’t deny that. She also loved him dearly. She was in love with him. And he thought he was with her. But then everything spiraled down and collapsed. He met her at that partymax verstappen threw to celebrate he was an official f1 driver for red bull. He invited everyone he ever met along his life. You couldn’t go because you had to take an exam the following morning. And that’s when it happened. She was dancing with her group of friends. She also had a boyfriend. And we talked and sparks were there. And then Charles got all confused. And they kissed. And he had already cheated by the time he realized that it was wrong. And then he couldn't stop. And his life went to shit.
He didn’t realize he was sobbing until he felt his teardrops stain his creme pants. He was using a fancy outfit. He looked really good. But as everything he touched, he also ruined that too in that moment. And because he was so busy feeling miserable, he didn’t realize the police were already at carlos’ door wanting to shut down the party. I mean, it was a tuesday night of a working week after all.
⋆˚࿔ 𝜗𝜚˚⋆
When Charles got closer to Carlos, he was already shouting at the police officers like a crazy man. He was drunk for sure and the policeman knew about it too. No perfume will ever smell like that. Not in Monaco of course.
“Then tell me, who will call? I need to know who to call. I never do parties and then once I do I can't and it’s not fair. I need to know who called you, it's my right as a citizen "Carlos was verbose and angry.
“Carlos it’s okay, how much should we pay you to let us have a party?” Charles intervenes trying to look not drunk at all but failing in each word. Police men looked at each other, annoyed by these two men.
“That would be a crime, sir” the police officer with a beard that looked disgusting in charles’ opinion, answered him. He kind of felt offended.
“Then who it was!!” Carlos was losing it and Charles was scared they would take him to jail right there.
“Your neighbor” the other one talked now pointing his fingers to his right. His right.
Your house was at his right. You called the cops. At that moment he felt he was about to faint. He was sure he was white. The policemen looked at him weird. Carlos then started walking. If you were in a cartoon show he would have smoke coming out his head right now. He walked fast towards your hose. Charles panicked and followed him desperate. Carlos started banging your door so he could tell you things.
“Carlos, nono. Let’s just go home, c’mon "Charles tried to convince Carlos but he was determined and ignored him. He won’t let you ruin his party. His celebration. His opportunity to present a woman for his friend to be happy. The one he taught you ruined. Becausehe couldn’t be over you. And he saw all of this as if you were now not letting him be able to in a very twisted way.
Charles was scared and worried when he saw your light turning on by the minute. His eyes wanting to leave his face when he saw you in your marvel pajamas again. Your hair was a mess and your face had the darkest circles under your eyes. Your face puffy as if you were crying or you did before you went to sleep and then they woke you up. No he felt as guilty as when he realized he left the love of his life stuck in that fucking restaurant you both loved so much.
“What the fuck is wrong with you bitch? Huh? Stop torturing my friend!” carlos said aggressively the moment he saw you when you opened the door.

Under the Mistletoe
back to my main masterlist
pairing: charles leclerc x fem!reader
summary: Charles and his partner take a quiet Christmas walk through the snow, chatting about the holiday season. As they pass under the mistletoe, they share a sweet, romantic kiss, reinforcing their love for each other.
warnings: fluff

The snow gently fell, blanketing everything in white as Christmas lights twinkled in every corner of the city. It was Christmas Eve, and Charles, with his signature smile, had taken your hand to walk through the nearby park by his home. This year, you had decided to do something different: escape the hustle and bustle, enjoy the peace and quiet of the season, and, of course, enjoy each other’s company.
—Do you like the snow? —Charles asked as his fingers intertwined with yours, walking leisurely beside you.
—It’s beautiful. —you replied, gazing at the snow-covered tree tops, everything so peaceful and magical. —But I prefer the warmth of a fireplace.
Charles let out a soft chuckle, glancing at you affectionately.
—I get it. But there’s something special about walking in the snow. Everything feels calmer, more peaceful. Like the world is a little closer, don’t you think?
You nodded, smiling softly. The conversation flowed naturally, without haste, enjoying the warmth of each other’s company amidst the wintry chill. The atmosphere was so relaxing it felt like time itself had stretched out.
As you walked, the only sound was the crunch of your footsteps in the snow until you passed under a pair of sparkling lights decorating an entrance, and right there, in view, was a little corner adorned with mistletoe.
Charles stopped abruptly, looking up and then back at you, a mischievous smile forming on his face.
—Do you know what that means? —he asked, pointing up at the mistletoe hanging just above them.
You looked up, seeing the small plant hanging, surrounded by twinkling lights.
—I guess it’s an invitation to kiss? —you replied with a playful grin.
Charles took a step closer, stopping just inches away from you. His expression softened, becoming more serious yet filled with affection.
—You’re right. —he whispered, before leaning in toward you.
Your hearts seemed to beat in sync as his lips met yours in a soft, sweet kiss, as if everything that had happened before in the holiday season had led to this moment. The feeling of being together, under the mistletoe, in the cold, was all you needed to feel warmth in your hearts.
The kiss lingered, so natural, so full of love, that everything else seemed to fade away. There was only the two of you, the mistletoe, the twinkling lights, and the softness of the Christmas night.
When you finally pulled away, Charles looked at you with a tender smile, his eyes sparkling.
—Merry Christmas, sweetheart. —he whispered.
—Merry Christmas, my love. —you replied, your smile the biggest it had been all day.
The rest of the walk was quiet, but the air felt filled with something more. The mistletoe hadn’t just been a symbol of the Christmas tradition; it was a reminder of a love that felt stronger every day.

☆ Christmas in Monaco ☆ Racing Hearts Holiday Special
A/N : MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!!!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Song : "Snowman - Sia"
Mark Spencer had always enjoyed spending Christmas with the Leclerc family, even if it wasn’t his own. His parents, Alessandro and Isabella, were always wrapped up in business commitments, leaving him with an unusual sense of freedom during the holidays. And so, he found himself once again on the French Riviera, tucked away in the warmth and comfort of the Leclerc family villa in Monaco. The Leclercs had long become like a second family to him.
The moment Mark entered the house, the air was filled with the sweet, comforting scent of cinnamon and freshly baked cookies. Pascale was busy in the kitchen, her gentle humming filling the space as she prepared the final touches for the family’s Christmas feast. Mark’s heart warmed at the sight of her—it was hard not to feel at home in such a welcoming place.
“Mark, dear, would you mind grabbing the chocolate chips?” Pascale asked, her hands flour-dusted as she worked on the dough.
Mark grinned, pulling a large bowl of chocolate chips from the cupboard. “I’m on it,” he said, only for a few chips to spill onto the counter as he fumbled with the bowl. He didn’t mind the mess—it was part of the fun.
Pascale chuckled softly. “You know, Mark, you’re welcome to call me Pascale. No need to be so formal.”
Mark looked over his shoulder, pretending to look serious. “Of course, Mrs. Leclerc… uh, I mean, Pascale, Ma’am.”
Pascale let out a small laugh, the kind of laugh that made anyone feel at ease. “You really do have a knack for making me smile, don’t you?”
He shrugged, still grinning. “It’s my secret weapon.”
As he continued his clumsy task, flour got everywhere—his hands, the counter, even his sweater, which was an obnoxiously festive red with snowflakes on it. It was a gift from Arthur, who had insisted it would be the perfect addition to Mark’s holiday wardrobe. Mark would never admit it aloud, but he liked it, even if it made him look a little ridiculous.
The moment he tried to scoop more chocolate chips into the bowl, he slipped on one that had rolled off the counter. The bowl went flying, spilling flour everywhere.
“Whoops!” Mark exclaimed, his voice high-pitched with embarrassment. He stood up, covered head to toe in white powder. A sneeze wracked his body, making him cough.
Pascale doubled over, her laughter ringing through the kitchen. “Oh, dear. You’ve certainly made a mess now, haven’t you?”
“I’m so sorry,” Mark mumbled, attempting to brush some of the flour from his face.
Pascale tried to regain her composure, but the sight of him looking like a snowman had her laughing even harder. “It’s alright, darling. Just be more careful, next time.”
Mark gave a sheepish grin and wiped his nose. “Not my finest moment.”
Charles, who had been lounging in the living room, glanced up from his iPad when he heard the laughter. His eyes briefly met Mark’s, and for a moment, there was something in his gaze—something that Mark couldn’t quite place. He turned his attention back to the book he was reading, but his mind wandered back to Mark.
Arthur, sitting on the couch next to his brother, raised an eyebrow and smirked. “You’ve been stuck on Chapter 34 for months now. Just admit it already,” he said, his voice low enough that only Charles could hear.
Charles stiffened and glared at his brother. “Shut up, Arthur.” He didn’t dignify the teasing with a response, but his eyes flickered back to Mark.
Mark, oblivious to the conversation happening between the brothers, made his way upstairs to change. Flour still clung to his sweater as he tried to peel it off, but the fabric stuck stubbornly to him.
“Need help?” Charles’s voice broke through the silence. He leaned against the doorframe, an amused smirk playing on his lips as he watched Mark’s struggle.
Mark groaned, trying to yank the sweater over his head but only making it worse. “I got it, don’t worry,” he muttered, stepping back and stumbling around the room, still trying to pull off the stubborn sweater. In his clumsy efforts, he knocked over a lamp, sending it crashing to the floor.
“Ow! Damn it!” Mark groaned, smacking his head against the wall as he tried to navigate around the room. “Fine, fine, help me,” he conceded.
Charles stepped closer, his smirk widening. “And what do we say?”
Mark glared at him with a mock angry expression. “Help me before I punch you in the face,” he snapped, but there was no real heat in his voice.
Charles raised an eyebrow. “Nope. Try again.”
Mark huffed, leaning against the bed. “Help me before I murder you in your sleep.”
Charles’s grin grew. “Nuh-uh. Say the magic word.”
Mark crossed his arms and groaned, then muttered reluctantly, “Ugh, please?”
“Better.” Charles chuckled, stepping forward to help Mark with the sweater. As he did, he was careful to avoid touching too much of Mark’s body, but his eyes lingered slightly longer than they should have. Mark noticed the pause, but he didn’t comment on it.
Mark’s voice broke the tension as he teasingly remarked, “You’re staring, Sharles.”
Charles immediately flushed, his face turning red. “Oh, please. Like you don’t flash your abs at every opportunity.”
Mark laughed. “Fair enough.”
Downstairs, Pascale and Arthur exchanged a knowing look as they waited for the boys. The family had settled in front of the fire, the Christmas tree twinkling softly in the background, and a cozy warmth filled the room.
“So when do you think they’ll acknowledge the elephant in the room?” Pascale asked casually, though there was a playful glint in her eyes.
Arthur feigned innocence, pretending not to know exactly what she was talking about. “What do you mean?” he asked, his voice low enough to make it sound like he was hiding something.
Pascale’s smile widened, and she raised an eyebrow. “I’m their mother. Of course, I know what’s going on.”
Arthur choked on his water, his eyes widening. “You knew?”
“Always,” Pascale replied with a sly smile that spoke volumes. “You two may think you’re subtle, but I’ve been around long enough to know better.”
Arthur shook his head, trying to suppress a grin. “I can’t believe you’ve been keeping track of this the whole time.”
Pascale merely shrugged. “You boys are a lot easier to read than you think.”
When Mark and Charles finally returned downstairs, Mark had changed into a crisp white button-up shirt. It was a stark contrast to the casual warmth of the day, and it didn’t go unnoticed by Charles. As soon as Mark entered the room, Charles’ eyes immediately went to the undone buttons on Mark’s shirt, his chest visible underneath.
“You’ll catch a cold, idiot,” Charles muttered under his breath, stepping forward to button up the shirt for Mark. It was a small gesture, but it held so much weight. Their proximity created a bubble of tension in the room, unnoticed by everyone else. The family continued with their festive cheer, but the air between Mark and Charles had shifted. The others noticed the change, exchanging amused glances, but no one commented on it.
Just as the moment seemed to linger too long, Leo, Charles’ dog, broke the silence. The small dog bounded up to Mark, tail wagging furiously. Mark laughed and crouched down, scratching Leo behind the ears. The moment of tension dissipated as the family chuckled, the soft sound of Leo’s excited bark filling the room.
Later in the evening, the Leclerc family gathered around to decorate the Christmas tree. Mark was eager to help, his enthusiasm infectious. He insisted that Pascale place the star on top of the tree, but when she hesitated, he quickly turned to Charles.
“Come on, pick me up so I can reach the top!” Mark urged, grinning mischievously.
Charles rolled his eyes, trying to sound casual. “We have a ladder for that, you idiot.”
Mark shot him a knowing look. “I knew you’d try to be the hero,” he teased, unable to stop the laughter bubbling up.
“I’m not trying to be a hero,” Charles replied, though the playful glint in his eyes suggested otherwise.
As they decorated the tree, the festive spirit grew in the house. Everyone was laughing and teasing each other, their voices blending together in a symphony of Christmas cheer. Mark felt a sense of warmth inside him, something he hadn’t felt in a long time—like he truly belonged.
The soft chime of the doorbell echoed through the cozy warmth of the Leclerc family villa. Mark glanced around, mildly confused. He hadn't been expecting anyone—after all, the Leclercs were supposed to be his family for Christmas. Pascale, holding a tray of steaming mugs of mulled wine, smiled mysteriously. "Why don’t you get that, Mark?" she suggested, her tone so casual that it raised suspicion.
Mark squinted at her, his lips quirking into a playful smirk. “Alright, but if it’s carolers, I’m bringing them in, and you’ll have to feed them,” he teased as he strolled toward the door, his socks muffling his steps on the polished floor.
As he opened the door, his breath caught in his throat. Standing before him were Alessandro and Isabella Spencer, his parents, looking as elegant as ever yet softened by the festive warmth of the season. Alessandro’s sharp suit was offset by a wool scarf wrapped loosely around his neck, while Isabella's emerald-green coat and matching gloves seemed to shimmer against the soft glow of the villa’s Christmas lights.
“Mom? Dad?” Mark’s voice broke slightly, disbelief and joy mingling in his words.
His mother’s face lit up with a radiant smile, and she opened her arms wide. “Surprise, darling!”
Before he could process what was happening, she had pulled him into a tight hug, the familiar scent of her lavender perfume flooding his senses. His father followed, clapping a hand on Mark’s shoulder with a rare, tender grin.
“We couldn’t let you spend Christmas without us this year,” Alessandro said, his voice warm but with its usual authoritative undertone.
Mark swallowed hard, fighting the sting of unexpected tears. He hadn’t realized how much he missed them until they were standing in front of him. He pulled them both into another hug, his voice muffled against his father’s coat. “You have no idea how much this means to me.”
Pascale appeared in the doorway, her face glowing with satisfaction. “I thought it might be nice to have a full house this year,” she said with a knowing smile.
Mark turned to her, his grin wide and boyish. “You knew about this?”
She nodded, giving him a conspiratorial wink. “A little Christmas magic never hurt anyone.”
Charles, Arthur, and Lorenzo joined them, standing slightly back as Mark introduced his parents. Isabella’s warm, maternal energy immediately won over Pascale, the two women exchanging compliments and laughing as if they were old friends. Alessandro, while more reserved, greeted Charles, Arthur, and Lorenzo with a firm handshake, his sharp eyes assessing but kind.
Charles watched the scene unfold, his arms crossed over his chest. There was something in the way Mark’s face lit up—a vulnerability that wasn’t often on display. It stirred something unfamiliar in Charles, something he quickly pushed aside.
Later in the evening, with the Christmas tree glowing softly in the corner and the scent of pine and cinnamon wafting through the air, the family gathered in the living room for a game of charades. Pascale had insisted, pulling out a small basket filled with slips of paper bearing prompts ranging from festive movies to absurd actions.
Mark, ever the showman, volunteered to go first. He reached into the basket, pulling out a slip of paper and glancing at it before dramatically placing a finger to his lips.
As Mark took center stage during charades, Charles couldn’t stop watching him. It wasn’t just Mark’s dramatic antics that held his attention—it was the way his energy seemed to fill the entire room, drawing everyone in like a gravitational force.
“Okay, here we go,” he said, stepping into the center of the room.
He began by miming a large, exaggerated box, pretending to tie a bow on top. Arthur immediately shouted, “Present!”
Mark nodded enthusiastically and moved on, flapping his arms like wings before cupping his hands to his mouth and mimicking a loud “ho ho ho.”
“Santa!” Pascale guessed, clapping her hands.
The final clue had everyone stumped. Mark mimed skiing down a slope, then falling over dramatically, rolling on the floor and clutching his leg in mock agony.
“Is it a skiing accident?” Arthur guessed, his brow furrowed.
“Close!” Mark exclaimed, pointing at him and then miming a cast on his leg.
“Broken leg while skiing?”
Mark gave an exaggerated nod, and the room erupted in laughter and applause.
Charles, reluctantly pulled into the game by Pascale, took his turn. His first prompt was “snowman,” and he hesitated before stiffly miming rolling three balls of snow. His awkward movements had everyone in stitches, particularly Mark, who couldn’t stop laughing.
“You’re terrible at this, Sharles,” Mark teased between fits of laughter.
When Mark rolled on the floor, laughing so hard his cheeks turned pink, Charles found himself smiling despite his usual reluctance to indulge in such games. He told himself it was because of the ridiculousness of the scene, but deep down, he knew better.
Charles shot him a mock glare, his lips twitching into an unwilling smile. “At least I’m not rolling on the floor like a lunatic.”
Lorenzo proved to be a surprise hit, his natural confidence and charm making him an unexpectedly skilled mime. His impressions of a reindeer and a chimney sweep had everyone howling with laughter, particularly Pascale, who wiped tears from her eyes.
The game continued late into the night, the room filled with laughter and teasing banter. Even Alessandro, usually reserved, joined in, his dry humor adding a new layer of fun. By the end, everyone was sprawled across the couches, breathless from laughing so hard.
The next afternoon, a rare snowfall blanketed Monaco, turning the usually sun-drenched streets into a winter wonderland. Mark had been the first to suggest venturing outside, bundling up in a thick scarf and gloves as he dragged Charles, Arthur, and Lorenzo with him.
“This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity,” Mark declared, scooping up a handful of snow and packing it into a perfect ball.
Arthur grinned mischievously. “You mean a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to pelt Charles with snowballs?”
Before Charles could protest, Arthur launched a snowball that hit him square in the chest.
“You’re dead,” Charles growled, grabbing his own handful of snow and hurling it back.
The fight escalated quickly. Mark, ever the instigator, joined forces with Arthur, the two of them pelting Charles relentlessly as he tried to defend himself. Lorenzo stood back at first, observing with amusement, but soon joined the fray, his competitive streak emerging as he expertly aimed snowballs at everyone.
“Cowards! Three against one isn’t fair!” Charles shouted, laughing despite himself.
Pascale and Isabella watched from the villa’s patio, sipping hot chocolate and laughing as Alessandro stood stoically beside them, though a faint smile tugged at his lips.
Mark’s competitive streak took over, and he charged at Charles, tackling him into a snowbank.
When Mark tackled him into the snowbank, Charles was caught off guard—not just by the force of it, but by the way Mark’s grin hovered so close to his own. His heart skipped a beat, and for a split second, he forgot how to breathe.
They wrestled briefly, snow flying everywhere, before Charles managed to flip Mark onto his back.
“Say uncle!” Charles demanded, pinning Mark’s arms down.
“Never!” Mark shouted, squirming as Arthur lobbed another snowball at Charles.
Eventually, they all collapsed into the snow, breathless and red-faced from the cold and exertion. The laughter carried across the snowy yard, a sound so pure and joyful that even Alessandro couldn’t resist cracking a smile.
Mark lay on his back, staring up at the pale winter sky. “Best Christmas ever,” he muttered, the words soft but sincere.
Charles, lying beside him, turned his head to look at Mark. For a moment, the world seemed to still, the snow muffling all sound. “Yeah,” Charles said quietly. “It’s not bad.”
Lorenzo, noticing the sudden seriousness, lobbed another snowball at them, breaking the moment.
“Come on, you lovebirds!” he called, laughing as he ran back toward the villa.
Mark and Charles exchanged a look, both flustered, before scrambling to their feet and chasing after Lorenzo and Arthur, their laughter echoing through the snowy streets of Monaco.

A female f1 driver who was featured in the barbie movie as the f1 driver. You could write about her scene and working with the Margot and Ryan lol, and how the grid reacts to it. Lanpd could be her bf or not if you don't want.
You don't have to absolutely write if it doesn't strike any inspiration and you obviously can write whatever you want you xoxo

So Good to Me
Charles Leclerc x Reader
Summary: Charles Leclerc is the perfect man for you … getting stopped on the street for a random TikTok challenge just serves to prove that even further
Tumblr media
The warm Monaco sun beats down on you as you stroll leisurely along the bustling sidewalk, a canvas tote bag filled with fresh produce and flowers from the local farmer’s market hanging from your shoulder. The salty sea breeze wafts across your face, carrying with it the excited chatter and laughter of tourists admiring the luxurious yachts bobbing in Port Hercules.
You smile to yourself, relishing this perfect Mediterranean afternoon. Just a quick stop at home to drop off your purchases, and then maybe you’ll take a dip in the infinity pool on the terrace to cool off before Charles is done with-
“Excusez-moi, mademoiselle!” A young man’s voice breaks through your daydreaming. You glance over to see a twenty-something guy with a neatly trimmed beard, expensive-looking sunglasses, and a black t-shirt emblazoned with HUSTLE in white block letters. He’s holding a mini microphone and has his iPhone pointed at you, clearly filming.
A TikToker.
You sigh internally but force a polite smile.
“Oui, puis-je vous aider?” You reply in French.
“Ah sorry, I don’t speak much French! Do you speak English?” The TikToker asks eagerly in a British accent.
“Yes, I do. Can I help you with something?” You say, switching to English yourself. You just want to get home but you know these influencer types can be annoyingly persistent.
The TikToker grins. “Brilliant! I’m doing a social experiment for my followers. I was wondering — do you have a significant other? A boyfriend or husband perhaps?”
You raise an eyebrow questioningly but decide to humor him. “Um, yes, I have a boyfriend,” you answer simply.
His eyes light up. “Fantastic! And would you say your boyfriend loves you very much?”
You can’t help but chuckle at the boldness of this stranger’s line of questioning. “Yes, I would definitely say that. He loves me a lot,” you confirm, a soft smile playing on your lips as you think of Charles.
“Perfect! Okay, here’s the challenge,” the TikToker announces dramatically, staring intensely into his camera. “I want you to call up your boyfriend right now and ask him to send you some money. Doesn’t matter how much. But for every €100 he sends, I’ll give you €20 to keep for yourself. Let’s see how much he really loves you, shall we?”
You stare at this guy incredulously for a moment before bursting out laughing. Is he serious? He clearly has no idea who your boyfriend is. An amused smirk spreads across your face as you fish your iPhone out of your designer purse.
“Alright, you’re on,” you say confidently, already unlocking your phone and tapping on Charles’ contact. The TikToker looks surprised but excited that you actually agreed to his silly challenge.
“Put it on speaker phone,” he instructs, zooming his camera in on your phone screen which is now dialing Charles.
After a few rings, the warm, honey-smooth voice you adore comes through. “Allô mon amour, what’s up?” Charles greets you sweetly. “I’m just finishing up some simulator runs but I should be done soon to help with dinner.”
“Hey baby,” you reply, your voice automatically softening. “Sorry to bother you, I know you’re busy. But I’m out right now and I just passed by that little boutique near the casino, you know the one? And I saw the most incredible pair of shoes in the window. I swear they were calling my name.”
Charles laughs affectionately, the sound like music to your ears even through the cell phone speaker. “Oh yeah? The ones that were calling your name last week turned out to be, what was it, €900?” He teases.
You roll your eyes playfully even though he can’t see. “Okay, fair, but you know I hardly ever splurge on myself. I’m usually so frugal!”
“Mmhmm, whatever you need to tell yourself, chérie,” Charles says wryly and you can practically hear the smirk in his voice. “Let me guess, you need to go get these dream shoes right now? Or else they’ll haunt you forever?”
“You know me so well,” you gush dramatically. “I promise I’ll pay you back though! I get paid next week and-”
“Hey, hey, stop,” Charles cuts you off gently. “Mon cœur, you never have to pay me back, you know that. I love being able to treat you and spoil you. You deserve the world. Never forget that.”
You feel yourself melt at his earnest words, momentarily forgetting you have an audience. “I love you so much,” you murmur. “Thank you for always being so good to me.”
“Right back at you, ma belle. Je t’aime,” Charles says tenderly. “There, check your banking app. Let me know if you need any more. And have fun shopping! I’ll see you at home in a bit, okay? À bientôt!”
You glance down at your phone as a notification from your bank pops up on the screen. Your eyes widen slightly when you see the amount Charles sent over, but you recover quickly.
“Thank you, baby. See you soon!” You reply before hanging up. You turn back to the TikToker who is gaping at you in disbelief. Casually, you turn your phone screen towards him and his camera so he can clearly see the notification that €10,000 has just been deposited into your account.
The poor guy looks like he’s about to pass out from shock. He opens and closes his mouth a few times, rendered speechless. You just laugh good-naturedly.
“Well, guess I won your little challenge, huh?” You remark, slipping your phone back into your purse. “Tell you what, why don’t you donate whatever money you were going to give me to a local animal shelter instead? I think it’ll be put to much better use there.”
The TikToker finally manages to pick his jaw up off the floor. He laughs shakily and nods. “Yeah ... yeah I can do that. Wow. Um, thanks for being such a good sport about this. And congrats on, uh, winning, I guess?”
You give him a friendly wink. “Anytime. Have a nice rest of your day!” With that, you turn gracefully on your heel and continue on your way back home, feeling rather smug and deeply appreciative of your wonderfully generous boyfriend.
“Wait!” The TikToker calls out after you. You glance back over your shoulder curiously. He hesitates before asking in an awed voice, “If you don’t mind me asking ... who the hell is your boyfriend?”
An enigmatic smile plays on your lips. “No one special really,” you reply breezily. “Just a guy who loves driving fast cars.”
You leave the gaping TikToker in your wake as you saunter off, already daydreaming about showing your appreciation to Charles later for being the most incredible boyfriend imaginable.
Maybe you really will splurge on those designer shoes after all … and pick up a little something special from the lingerie boutique next door while you’re at it.
Your smile widens. Just as a little thank you to your man, of course. Life is good when you’re in love with Charles Leclerc.

charles leclerc simping over his girlfriend: a compilation
Tumblr media
MASTERLIST | MY PATREON | charles smau | charles headcanon
PART TWO
No matter where Charles went or what he did, one thing was constant - he simply could not stop talking about his girlfriend.
He was utterly smitten, and it showed through his words and massive smile every time her name came up. Fans quickly noticed Charles' habit of gushing over YN in interviews, on social media, with reporters, and even during casual interactions.
It became such a phenomenon that Formula 1 super-fans began compiling clips of Charles being a total simp for his girl into viral videos.
The most popular one was called "Charles Leclerc simping over his girlfriend: a compilation, and the 15-minute long video compiled some of the most hilarious, heartwarming, and over-the-top examples of the F1 star's borderline obsession with his girlfriend.
It opened with a clip from Charles' interview on Sky Sports before the Monaco Grand Prix. The reporter asked how special it was racing at his home circuit.
"It's amazing driving here where I grew up," Charles said with a huge smile. "But honestly, the best part is having my girlfriend YN here supporting me, this is already such a special race but having her here just adds another layer to it."
"Could you say that you have a good luck charm with you today?" the reporter asked again.
"Definitely, she's always my good luck charm."
The next clip was from Charles and Carlos' music challenge for Ferrari's YouTube channel, they had to guess the song that was playing with just a three second snippet.
"As it was, Harry Styles!" Charles said and rang the small bell that was placed in the middle of them as soon as he heard the first second of the intro.
"You've been practicing," Carlos stated as he pointed at him raising an eyebrow.
"I love this song," Charles said to the camera, "My girlfriend is obsessed with it, she plays it every day."
"And you talk about her every day," Carlos teased, elbowing him.
"I do, I do."
The video moved to show Charles with some fans, he was getting his luggage after a flight and they approached him asking for a picture, one of them filming the whole interaction.
"Of course, no problem at all," Charles replied warmly with a small smile on his face.
As he posed for a picture with the group, Charles noticed that one of the fans was wearing a Taylor Swift shirt. His eyes lit up with recognition and a smile spread across his face.
"I see you're a Taylor Swift fan," Charles remarked, pointing to the shirt. "My girlfriend loves Taylor too. She's always playing her songs around the house and talking about her."
"Wow, that's so cool!" the fan's eyes widened in surprise, "What's her favorite song?" they asked.
"I think her favorite is 'Love Story," Charles chuckled, "She says it reminds her of us."
"That's such a classic! Your girlfriend has great taste," the fan said.
"Thank you, I'll let her know you said that."
The next clip was from Charles' interview promoting his new ice cream brand called LEC, a reporter had asked him how did he come up with the creative names for each flavor.
"It was a teamwork between me and my girlfriend, actually," he replied with a smile, "She played a huge part on this project, everyone knows I could't had come up with Vanillove and Pistachi-on on my own."
The video then cut to a clip from the F1 Grill the Grid challenge, where drivers were playing 'Never Have I Ever", when asked "Have you ever missed a flight?", Charles immediately knew his answer."
"I have, more than once," he said, quickly adding, "But it wasn't my fault, my girlfriend has this long morning routine that she refuses to skip, even though she looks beautiful no matter what."
The video also included footage of Charles during a press conference before the Australia Grand Prix, a reporter asked him about his pre-race rituals.
"Well, I have a few things I like to do before getting into the car," Charles began. "But one thing that's become a bit of a tradition is a phone call with my girlfriend. No matter where we are in the world, we always find time to talk before the race if she's not there."
"What do you two usually talk about?"
"Oh, just the usual stuff," Charles replied with a grin. "She gives me some last-minute words of encouragement, tells me to be safe, that sort of thing. It's nice to hear her voice before such a big moment."
A clip form Charles' 'One week in Los Angeles' was also included, he was playing around at the basketball course shirtless.
"No way!" he said after he missed the basket again, "This is making me look really bad, I need to impress my girl."
The camera panned to her for a moment, and Charles sent a wink her way.
"Are you impressed, love? he asked, throwing the ball and missing once again.
"Very, but not by your basketball skills."
The compilation went on and on, clip after clip of Charles finding any opportunity to mention his girlfriend and proclaim his love for her. From the most casual conversations to the highest-pressure interviews, he just could not help himself from gushing.
As the video ended, the caption displayed: "Get yourself a man who loves you like Charles loves YN."

kink-o-ween - day two
max verstappen & charles leclerc - threesome
cw: smut/pwp, threesome, enthusiastic consent, breast play, fingering, doggy style, oral sex (charles receiving),
Tumblr media
you didn't expect for this to happen. when you fell in love with charles leclerc, you didn't expect to end up in max verstappen's orbit. you knew that you'd be in the spotlight regardless. the prince of monaco, it would be impossible not to have your face in the tabloids.
while you were on charles' arm at events, smiling up at him with love in your chest, you could feel the heated gaze of max's blue eyes on you. your world became of green and blue, lingering gazes of your boyfriend and the rival he held dear. it was only a matter of time before it all came to a head. when you ended up in the sheets with the prince of monaco and the lion of the netherlands.
this was a position many would die for. in between two and three of the dutch grand prix, they both had their eyes on something different. while the trophies were nice, but they'd end up in storage and long forgotten. but you were fresh like summer fruit, perfect to put between their teeth.
"i see how you eye her, mate." charles said as he leaned against the back wall, a cigarette between his fingers, "i think you should be more subtle. or people will talk."
max took the cigarette from him and took a drag, "then stop dressing her in outfits that make the whole garage stop and stare.
"she dressed herself. she's been hoping to catch your eye. we've been thinking. a week away. you, me and her. something to keep us busy."
max took another drag and chuckled, hidden from the eyes of the press. he went over to charles and grabbed him by the chin, their gazes remained leveled with one another. he chuckled, "are you whoring out your girlfriend to me, mate?"
"it's not whoring out if we all want it."
it came about weeks later, a break in the season. not a long one like the full summer break. but enough that the two men could spend hours being in bed with you. it was in a hotel outside of austin. where you really felt the heat of the texan sun. it was a small place, a little shady, but you paid in cash and the bed with big. not too many questions were asked, they didn't even ask for your passport. they simply took the cash and handed you a key. and once the door to the room was closed, you felt hands coming from behind to unbutton your shirt.
you looked over your shoulder and saw max's gaze on you and when you looked back, you felt your boyfriend's front against you. charles was getting your jeans off. there really was no time like the present.
"insatiable." you sighed as you aided max getting your shirt off.
"we've waited long enough." charles said as he pulled your shorts down to your ankles. you moaned a little as he rubbed your cunt over your cotton panties. but the noises didn't last long as max captured your lips in his.
you aided them to get you naked and eventually ended up on the squeaky mattress. both men looked down at you and you swallowed a little. you tried to turn your body in a way to hide even an inch of skin. but charles stop you as he climbed into bed with you. he kicked his socks off as he pinned your wrists to the bed.
"no hiding for us, beautiful. you made a promise to be good for us." his voice was heat in your brain as you started to pull at his t-shirt, but max was close by helping him get it off. eventually the two men were stripped naked. expensive shirts were tossed to the ground. charles calvin klein's were over the edge of the bed. the covers were rough and unlike the soft bedding back in monaco. but this would have to do given the circumstances.
the three of you naked with each man on either side of you. their hands roamed your figure. max even went as far as to pinch the softness in your stomach before he pulled you in for a kiss. he tilted your head back to get access to your lips while charles' mouth was on your breasts. his tongue dragged across your nipples.
"she has the prettiest lips." max said as he held you throat gently.
"you should feel her breasts. she's perfectly soft, it's like heavy. she's flexible and is able to take cock like a champion." he chuckled. as he continued to silently worshiping your breasts. leaving wet kisses and small bites across the skin as max kissed you deeply. it all felt so good for you.
when they were done caressing you with kisses, you ended up on your hands and knees in front of charles' cock. your boyfriend was propped against the headboard.
charles grabbed a condom from a new box he kept in the nightstand and tossed it to max, "you're a good friend, max. but, i'm not letting you get that close to her."
max nodded before he put it on. he was on his heels and his cock in one hand while he got the condom over his length. your bare, wet cunt was enticing to him. he said, "it feels like i've lucked out quite a bit."
the other man replied, "yes you are. i don't get too angry about not getting podium sometimes because i know she'll let me do anything to make myself feel better."
max looked down at your bareback, "anything' huh?" that was curious to him.
charles' combed his fingers through your hair, you could feel his rings against your scalp as he looked at you with those dazzling green eyes. he said softly, "you're going to be good for our guest tonight? be good for our world champion." he chuckled before he pressed your mouth up against his cock.
you happily accepted it into your mouth and moaned loudly when max pushed his cock deep inside of you. max's eyes went wide for a moment of how sweet your pussy felt.
oh my god.
charles noticed and chuckled, "yeah. she feels good doesn't she." he looked down at you, "she's a real piece of work. i'm thankful that she is mine."
"except for tonight."
charles replied, "don't get too attached, max. you can have any woman you want." and looked down at you. he stroked your cheek, call it a little possessive but who would want to constantly share their slice of paradise. you continued to suck him off.
max started to work his hips against yours. he watched how you moved under him. the sight of his rival and you in front of him was painfully hot.
your sweet noises came from your lips and were muffled by charles' cock inside of you. the three of you moved together. you were getting it from all angles. letting these men have their way with you. it was all consensual, but it did feel dirty.
"do you like that?" charles asked as he gripped your hair.
you nodded rapidly and could feel your lover's cock in your throat. he was quite big, even after all the time together to take him in your mouth was a little bit of a struggle.
charles took your mouth off of him and jerked his cock rapdily, "use your words, my love. tell max and i how you feel."
you whined, "please, charles. max! it feels so good. like nothing else." you arched your back a little and moaned before your lover grabbed your by the back of your head and onto his cock once more.
the three of you moved in a steady pattern, the bed squeaked under you and the covers were rough against your knees and chest. this little motel in texas where no one asked questions was your little getaway for the night.
to run the course of your sexual fever as both men stayed inside of you. it felt so good. it made you drool in more ways than one as you felt max's cock nudge inside of your slick pussy and charles' cock up into your throat.
you held onto his strong thighs and moaned against his cock. max's cock in your pussy was making you feel a deep lust in your gut. he was similar size to charles, but his methods of fucking were much different. charles fucked like an inferno while max fucked with more methodical movements. regardless your head was spinning from it all.
to be between these two men, some of the toughest rivals in a long time. it made you hot all over, you loved charles but to spend a night with max as well added something that made you feel painfully turned on.
"she's beautiful. where did you find her?" max asked as his pace became a little more erratic. he was trying to chase the high of pleasure.
charles chuckled a little. his hand in your hair, "that's a secret, max." he rocked further up into your throat and could feel the heat seep into his blood.
max would give a lot for a woman like you, even outside of the bedroom he was captivated by you. how you giggled and smiled at the paddock, your knowledge of cars.
you whined a little bit and arched your back as you felt it all zip through your body. you felt alive between the two men and it made both of them very pleased. you were enjoying this despite working so hard to make them finish. you were a perfect woman.
max gave it a few more heavy thrusts before you came quickly around his cock which only made him push further into you. it was ticking all the boxes in his sexual depraved head. his chest against your back with your hips tilted to get the perfect angle for his heavy thrusts.
"please tell me where you got her, charles." max sputtered as he felt the draw of orgasm pull through him as he looked up at his longtime friend, "raya? snapchat? through a friend? does she have a sister?"
charles chuckled and patted his friend on the cheek, "that's a secret, max." he licked his lips, those green eyes gleamed with mischief. he wouldn't give away the secrets of how you met charles. it was too much of a funny story for the bedroom, plus charles may like it whe max is a little desperate.
max held onto you as tight as he could, almost bruising the skin. he finished inside of you and made the pleasure curl through both of your bodies. it was all so much for him but it felt good even while using a condom. it briefly made him wonder if he could ever try it bare with you. to get a better feeling of you sweet pussy.
"now help me out." charles said as you continued to suck him off. he almost felt the wind out of his gut as he felt max also lick his cock in the parts you couldn't reach without deep throating his cock too much. his choked out a groan before he came down your throat and you swallowed it eagerly.
charles looked down at the both of you and it excited him. to see his loving girlfriend and also his rival by his bare cock. he tried to shift off the bed to get settled for the night. but you held his hips to the bed.
you looked over at max and chuckled. you were still in a post-climax haze, "i think we should thank charles for tonight." then giggled at max.
max licked his lips and said, "of course. you take his cock, i'll take his mouth." which made heat rise to charles' cheeks as he was moved from the headboard.
everyone was going to get theirs tonight. charles only worry was, that he might have created a sexual monster out of you and max. and that tonight wouldn't be the last time this happened <3

Tumblr media Tumblr media
Lewis
Lewis stands next to his gingerbread house, arms crossed, looking overly confident. “This is art. Look at the detail, the symmetry.” His house has a sleek, modern vibe, with perfectly aligned candy windows and a roof that looks suspiciously aerodynamic.
Your followers, however, vote your colorful, whimsical house as the winner. You grin triumphantly as Lewis’s jaw drops. “What?! No way. Mine is way better!” he protests, gesturing to his creation.
You laugh, shaking your head. “In your dreams, Lewis. Plus, the people are on my side.”
He huffs, crossing his arms dramatically. “Fine, I only accept defeat because you’re cute.”
“Oh really? It’s because I’m your girlfriend and you love me, you tease, poking his side.
“That too,” he admits with a chuckle.
“And also because I’m 100% more talented than you,” you say smugly, planting a kiss on his cheek before swiping a dollop of frosting onto his nose.
“Hey!” he shouts, laughing as you dart away. “Come back here, you little cheater!”
Tumblr media
Charles
Charles carefully steps back from his gingerbread house, a proud smile on his face. His house looks like something out of a French fairy tale, complete with candy vines and a powdered sugar “snowfall.”
When your followers crown you as the winner, Charles looks genuinely stunned. “No, no, no! That’s impossible. Look at the detail on mine!” he exclaims, pointing to his house.
You smirk. “The people have spoken, Charles. And they’re on my side.”
He pouts, running a hand through his hair. “Fine. I only accept this because you’re beautiful.”
“Oh, it’s because I’m your girlfriend and you love me,” you tease, tilting your head with a smug grin.
“That too,” he says with a laugh.
“And also because I’m 100% more talented than you,” you add, giving him a sweet kiss on the cheek before swiping frosting onto his chin.
His eyes widen as you sprint away. “Y/N! Come back here, or I’ll throw the whole piping bag at you!”
Tumblr media
Lando
Lando’s gingerbread house looks… chaotic, to say the least. It’s leaning to one side, with candies haphazardly stuck on, and one wall is suspiciously missing. “It has character,” he claims proudly.
When the followers declare your house the winner, Lando gasps dramatically. “What? No way! Mine has charm! Yours is way too perfect.”
You snicker. “Lando, even the roof is falling off. Face it, the people are on my side.”
He slumps back in his chair, pouting. “Fine, but only because you’re cute.”
You grin, leaning closer. “And because I’m your girlfriend and you love me.”
“Yeah, yeah, that too,” he mutters, trying not to smile.
“And also because I’m way more talented than you,” you tease, pecking his cheek before smearing frosting on his forehead.
His eyes go wide as you bolt across the room. “Y/N! You better run!”
Tumblr media
Max
Max stands back from his house, examining it with a critical eye. It’s sturdy, precise, and… slightly intimidating, just like him. “I think mine is objectively the best,” he says with a small shrug.
When your house wins the vote, Max squints at the results. “No. This has to be rigged. My house is structurally flawless.”
You burst out laughing. “The people are on my side, Max. Just admit defeat.”
He crosses his arms, glaring playfully. “Fine, but only because you’re cute.”
You grin, leaning closer. “Oh, and because I’m your girlfriend and you love me.”
Max rolls his eyes, but a small smile breaks through. “That too.”
“And because I’m 100% more talented than you,” you add, kissing his cheek before smearing frosting on his nose.
“Y/N, you’re going to regret that,” he warns, already chasing after you as you sprint away, laughing.
Tumblr media
Oscar
Oscar’s gingerbread house is surprisingly neat and charming, with a clean design that looks like it came straight out of an Ikea catalog. He beams proudly at it. “I think I nailed it.”
When your house wins, Oscar’s jaw drops. “Wait, seriously? No way. Mine is so much better!”
You giggle. “Sorry, Piastri, but the people are on my side.”
He sighs dramatically. “Fine. I’ll accept it… but only because you’re cute.”
You smirk. “And because I’m your girlfriend and you love me.”
“Yeah, that too,” he admits, chuckling softly.
“And because I’m clearly the more talented one,” you tease, giving him a quick kiss before dabbing frosting on his cheek.
“Y/N!” he yells as you dart away, already reaching for a handful of candy to throw at you. “Get back here!”
Tumblr media
Carlos
Carlos’s gingerbread house looks charming and rustic, with plenty of artistic flair. “This is clearly the winner,” he says, confident as ever.
When your house wins, Carlos stares at the results in disbelief. “What? No, that’s not possible. Mine is a masterpiece!”
You laugh, pointing to his overly dramatic reaction. “The people have spoken, Carlos. And they’re on my side.”
He sighs, rubbing his temples before giving you a small smirk. “Fine. I only accept defeat because you’re cute.”
“Oh, and because I’m your girlfriend and you love me,” you tease.
Carlos laughs, shaking his head. “That too, mi amor.”
“And also because I’m way more talented than you,” you add cheekily, pecking his cheek before smearing frosting on his jawline.
“Y/N!” he shouts, already chasing after you with a mischievous grin. “You’re going to regret that!”
Tumblr media
Jenson
Jenson’s gingerbread house is shockingly elegant, with clean lines and a classic design. He leans back in his chair, looking smug. “I think it’s safe to say I’ve won.”
When your house is declared the winner, Jenson shakes his head in disbelief. “No way. This is rigged.”
You smirk. “Sorry, but the people are on my side.”
He sighs, running a hand through his hair. “Fine. I only accept defeat because you’re cute.”
You grin. “And because I’m your girlfriend and you love me.”
“Yeah, yeah,” he says, laughing. “That too.”
“And because I’m clearly the more talented one,” you tease, kissing his cheek before smearing frosting on his face.
“Oh, you’re in trouble now,” he says, already standing up to chase you.
Tumblr media
Seb
Seb’s gingerbread house is eco-friendly, with a focus on sustainable candy decorations. He smiles proudly at his creation. “It’s the most thoughtful design here.”
When your house wins, Seb chuckles softly. “Alright, alright. I guess the people like your style better.”
You grin. “See? The people are on my side.”
He nods, his smile warm. “Fine. I’ll let you win this time, but only because you’re adorable.”
“Oh, and because I’m your girlfriend and you love me,” you tease, bumping his shoulder.
Seb laughs. “That too.”
“And because I’m obviously the more talented one,” you say, giving him a quick kiss before smearing frosting on his nose.
“Y/N!” he laughs, chasing after you with a playful grin. “Come back here, or I’ll cover you in frosting!”

The steady rhythm of your breathing fills the room, a gentle sound that lulls Charles into a state of restless anticipation. Moonlight spills through the window, casting a silver glow across the bed where you lie, the comforter having slipped down to reveal more of your body. Your legs are slightly spread as you shifted around in your slumber, the hem of your night slip dress riding up, exposing the delicate fabric of your panties.
He sits beside you, eyes tracing the delicate lines of your face, your slightly parted lips, down to your spread thighs.
He knows he shouldn’t, knows that waiting for you to wake up is the right thing to do. But tonight, something inside him stirs more intensely than ever before. The way you lie there, so peaceful and unaware, ignites a desire in him that’s impossible to ignore. You’ve discussed this before, shared your desires and given your consent, but Charles hadn’t been tempted until now. It’s a trust he’s grateful for, an offer he’s careful to respect even as his pulse quickens with anticipation.
Charles reaches out, fingertips brushing lightly against your cheek. Your skin is warm, soft, and he lets his hand linger, savouring the undisturbed contact. His breath catches as you shift slightly, your body responding to his touch even in deep sleep. It takes all of his self-control to keep his touch light, refraining from letting the bulge in his boxers make all the decisions.
In the quiet of the room, his mind races with thoughts of you, of how much he loves you, desires you. A smirk plays on his lips as he realizes how utterly vulnerable you are, allowing him to ruin you in any way he chooses.
His hand moves down, tracing the curve of your shoulder, then the length of your arm. He leans in, his breath warm against your neck, inhaling your subtle distinct scent. It’s intoxicating, this quiet intimacy. He presses a soft kiss just below your ear, barely more than a whisper against your skin.
Your body reacts, a shiver running through you, and Charles freezes, heart pounding. But you don’t wake. Instead, you shift again, turning slightly towards him, lips parting in a sigh. The sound is like music to his ears, and he can’t help but smile.
His hand continues its journey, removing the comforter completely before sliding his palm underneath your slip dress, lifting it higher. The warmth of your body against his palm sends a thrill through him.
Unable to resist any longer, Charles leans in, his lips brushing against your inner thigh. After peppering a few kisses, he moves higher, his kisses growing bolder as he reaches the edge of your panties. He can feel the warmth of you, the heat radiating from your core as he spots the wet patch on the flimsy fabric.
His hands slide under the hem of your dress, fingertips grazing the fabric of your panties before gently pulling them aside. The sight of you, so exposed and vulnerable, ignites a fire in him. He lowers his mouth to you, his breath warm against your skin, and begins to kiss and lick with a reverence that borders on worship.
You moan softly in your sleep, a sound that spurs him on. His tongue teases your sensitive folds, tasting you, savouring every moment. He knows your body, knows what you like, and he takes his time, enjoying the way you respond even in your unconscious state.
Your hips start to move, a natural response to his ministrations, and he can’t help but smile against you. He slips two fingers inside your cunt, the slickness and heat pulling him in. He begins to move them in and out, matching the rhythm of his tongue on your clit.
The soft sounds you make, the wet sound of your slick, the way your body reacts, it’s almost too much for him. He wants to wake you, to see your eyes filled with desire and love, but he can’t help but feel a tad bit selfish too, wanting to keep this moment for himself.
Charles continues, his mouth and fingers working in tandem to bring you pleasure. You shift around, eyes still closed, and he feels you clenching around his fingers. He knows you’re close, so he stops.
Removing his fingers and detaching his mouth from your clit, he pulls back, watching a string of spit connect to your pussy from his lips. He raises his fingers to his lips, lapping up your taste with his tongue.
He watches as your chest rises and falls, knowing you’ve fallen into the depths of sleep again. He wanted you to wake up clenching around his cock, whining and begging as soon as you woke up, which was all you were good for anyways. Always begging for him, to stuff you up with his cock. Nothing else ran through your mind, and this time he was going to prove it by waking you in that manner.
Spreading your thighs further, he shuffled up after discarding his boxers. He paused for a moment, wrapping his hand covered in your slick around his cock, moving it up and down as he admired your compliant state.
Your hardened nipples were visible through the dress hiked up to your waist, your spread thighs and wet pussy was a sight for him, and him only.
Charles takes his time, savouring the anticipation as he strokes himself, eyes locked on you. Your peaceful form is almost too much for him to bear. He loves you deeply, but in moments like these, the raw, primal desire takes over, and he can’t help but revel in it.
He leans forward, positioning himself between your legs. He teases you, running his head up and down your slit, coating himself further in your slick. You twitch, hips moving on their own accord as he pushes inside with deliberate slowness. The tightness, the warmth, it’s all so perfect, and he has to bite back a groan. Your body welcomes him, even in sleep, and he watches as your face contorts slightly with pleasure.
The feeling of you wrapped around him is intoxicating, and he takes a moment to control himself, not wanting to rush this. He starts to move, slow and deep, each thrust measured and deliberate. He can feel the tension building, knows you’re on the edge even in your sleep.
Your eyes flutter open, a soft moan escaping your lips as the sensation pulls you from your slumber. You shift slightly, your hands finding their way to his shoulders, then into his hair, pulling him closer. The look in your eyes, that hazy mix of sleep and desire, is everything he hoped for.
“Charles,” you whisper, your voice a breathy moan. “Please…”
“Shh, go back to sleep, chérie,” he mumbles, his lazy thrusts hoping to lull you back to sleep.
You try to hold onto the pleasure, but the slow, deep rhythm of his movements is soothing, making it difficult to stay awake. Your hands move through his hair, a soft, instinctual gesture that makes him shiver. Charles’s eyes remain locked on yours, filled with an intensity that speaks volumes of his desire for you.
The feeling of him inside you, the warmth and fullness, is comforting and intoxicating. Your body reacts to him, hips moving in time with his gentle thrusts, but your eyelids grow heavy, the call of sleep too strong to resist.
Charles watches as you struggle to stay awake, a small smile playing on his lips. He knows how much you crave him, how much you need this, and it only fuels his desire to give you everything you want.
“That’s it, just relax,” he murmurs, his voice low and soothing. “I’ve got you.”
Your grip in his hair loosens, your body melting into the mattress as you begin to drift off again. The sensation of him moving inside you, combined with the warmth of his body pressed against yours, lulls you further into the depths of sleep.
He feels you clenching around him, a sign that your body is still very much aware of his presence even as your mind slips away. Charles’ movements remain steady, the slow and deep thrusts designed to keep you on the edge of consciousness. He watches you, captivated by the way you surrender to him, trusting him completely.
As he feels your body beginning to build again towards release, he knows he’s close too. The slow, steady rhythm becomes a little more insistent, his own need becoming harder to control. He wants to feel you cum around him, to know that you’re as lost in this as he is.
His hand moves between your bodies, finding your clit and rubbing it gently, knowing exactly how to push you over the edge. Your body tenses, your breathing hitches, and he can feel you getting closer and closer.
He leans closer, whispering in your ear, “cum for me, mon amour.”
The command, mixed with the pleasure he’s giving you, is enough to send you spiraling into bliss. Your body clenches around him, and a soft cry escapes your lips as you cum.
The sensation of you tightening around him is too much for Charles. He thrusts deep one last time, his own release hitting him hard. He groans your name, his body shuddering with the force of his orgasm as he spills inside you.
As you both come down from the high, Charles kisses you softly, his lips lingering on yours. You nuzzle closer to him once he pulls back, wrapping your arms around him to keep him close. “You need to do that more often,” you say, your voice still laced with sleep.
Charles chuckles softly, pressing a kiss to your forehead. “Anything for you, chérie.”
With a final sigh of contentment, you drift back into a deep, peaceful sleep. Your dreams and reality blur together, the only tangible evidence of your dreamy desires becoming reality are the mingled traces of your arousal and his cum slowly leaking from your cunt onto the sheets.

˖♡ - ̗̀ ⇢ saw this tt about how these two toddlers shared their dad's notoriously rough bed head and this post when i opened tumblr last night and had to write smth for it! sorry, for the baby content 💀 i'll get back to writing y'alls requests now xxx

the careful messiness of brunette curls has been charles’s signature hairstyle for ages. it suits him, and when paired with his dimples and green eyes—it’s no wonder why every italian and monegasque prays for his success on sundays. well, maybe bleeding rosso corsa and winning two championships driving the famed red car are the proper reasons.
if only they knew that the artful styling of his curls is nowhere to be found after he sleeps. when he wakes, his hair is in absolute disarray—the deep brown ringlets are clumped together as they stick straight upwards and yet they manage to point in every direction possible.
when you first moved in with charles, you convinced him to buy a satin pillowcase to combat the bed head. it didn’t help, and neither did the bonnets you tried to have him wear. no matter if the ties were knotted, buttoned, or even velcro-strapped tightly, the bonnet would end up by the foot of the bed and his hair was in it’s usual disordered state by the early morning hours.
so, your morning routine begins with taming charles’s severe case of bed head. he awakens slowly as your fingertips gently untangle the deep brown ringlets, moaning lowly and nudging his head into your hand like a large cat when your nails glide along his scalp. you carefully guide each curl back into their assigned positions, tutting disapprovingly at the one strand that never seems to stay in it’s place.
charles’s chest shakes with a chuckle at your slight irritation and he shifts to meet your eyes, tenderly directing your hands away from his now orderly hair to his lips, pressing kisses to your fingertips before pulling you forward to cuddle into his chest.
you didn’t expect to have to deal with more than one head of messy hair. unfortunately, it seems like your daughter inherited her father’s bed head.
your mornings now consist of charles climbing out of bed at the first crackle of noise through the baby monitor, rushing to scoop the 9-month-old from her nursery and have her join the two of you in bed. he crosses the doorway with your daughter cradled to his bare chest and leo yipping at his feet—she stares up at at him, a perfect reflection of the sea green pools of his eyes, the absence of a bonnet, and the chaotic sprawl of his brunette curls. you’ve never been bothered with the fact that she’s an exact replica of her father, as some tried to tease that your genes didn’t do more than deepen her complexion. however, you always joke back that it means that she’s been blessed to be as beautiful as charles is.
she coos and babbles up at her father and he dutifully responds in french as if he understands her baby gibberish. he sits in bed with her on his lap and she beams, her little arms and grabby hands reaching towards you. you smile back widely, stealing her from his lap and greeting your babygirl with a flurry of kisses pressed all over her cute little face. her giggles ring through the air as you pull backwards to watch her laugh and, there’s another trait she shares with her father; deep dimples decorate her chubby cheeks and you can’t help but press your thumb into them with adoration.
charles picks up his first baby, plopping the mini dachshund in bed, and leo bounds forward to press his own kisses to your daughter’s socked feet.
addressing charles’s wild bed head will have to wait as you settle her back in his lap. you rest your head on his shoulder, apologizing for interrupting the clearly important conversation the two were having. you start fixing the jumbled ringlets on her scalp with the softest touch of your digits and she nuzzles up into your hand the same way her father does. he continues from were he left off, asking your daughter if she thinks a one-stop strategy is too ambitious for the next race and she babbles back to him in reply.
charles nods in agreement, promising her that regardless of a one-stop or two-stop, he’ll bring back his third championship trophy for her.
