Part One: The Sweet Stranger
»your mom's ring in your pocket, my picture in your wallet, your heart was glass, I dropped it. Champagne problems«
"Excuse me?"
You winced noticeably before you turned your head into the direction wherefrom the voice had spoken to you. Just a few meters away a young man dressed in a suit was standing there.
"Are you alright?" He asked with a worried expression on his face. Taken by surprise you nodded, assuring the stranger you were fine. However he furrowed his brows dubiously, not believing you.
"Are you sure? You're crying" he noted with a french accent, fishing a tissue out of the inside of his jacket and handed it to you carefully.
"Thank you" you mumbled, accepting the tissue, using it to wipe away the tears from your cheeks.
"Do you need to call someone?"
"No, thank you" you replied and turned your gaze towards the distance.
"Alright" he breathed, abutting on the blue railing of the Bridge.
"But I'm definitely not leaving you on your own"
"Pardon?" Perplexed you faced the young man, who just looked at you with raised brows.
"What?" He took a step aside.
"There you go, safety gap"
Still startled you simply stared at him, confused by what the man was doing. All you wanted was time to yourself to process the horrendous evening you had just experienced.
"Why?"
Anxiety started to pile up, of course you couldn't spend some time by yourself on the Tower Bridge at night without encountering strange men that wouldn't leave you be. Frowning the brown haired man scanned you from head to toe.
"Well, you're by yourself in the middle of the night standing on a bridge, crying, your heels are off. It's chilly and you're wearing a spaghetti strap dress without a jacket"
You gasped for air.
"Wait-, no-" you shook your head frantically but then looked down on yourself and quickly realized where he was coming from.
"Fair enough" you snorted, running your fingers through your thick hair in frustration.
"I do not want to commit suicide if that's what you thought" you responded horrified, although you couldn't help to feel relieved at the same time. The man apparently wouldn't go, because he sincerely wanted to make sure, you were fine instead of intending to harass you.
"I'm relieved" he breathed out.
"But still you seem to be upset about something. Do you want to talk about it? It can help to pour your heart out to a stranger" he offered and smiled softly.
"Don't you have somewhere else to be?" You retorted, wrapping your arms around yourself in attempt to warm your cold body. Melodic laughter escaped his lips.
"Coud say the same thing about you or do you always take strolls in dresses and higheels?"
The corners of your mouth twitched hardly noticeable at his words.
"I think, I've already embarrassed myself enough"
"This is your opportunity to embarrass yourself even more" the stranger responded sounding oddly encouraging.
Baffled you eyed the man, for the first time noticing how handsome he was. You couldn't clearly see his eye color due to the faint lighting of the bridge, but you already knew his eyes were your favorite feature of his face.
"I'm a stranger to you and you are a stranger to me. We both couldn't care less, if we made fouls out of ourselves" the brunette, young man reasoned.
"You frenchman are strange" you shivered, feeling your hands ache in the cold wind as you rubbed your arms.
"Thank goodness, I am not french then" he said, his smile broadening until the dimples appeared. After you flashed him a puzzled look, he started to snicker.
"I am from Monaco" he clarified.
"And that doesn't make you french?"
"We prefer being called monegasque" the brown haired man explained.
"Sorry" you shuddered.
"I didn't mean to be disrespectful"
The man shook his head.
"Don't worry about it" he assured you, observing shortly after that you were strongly trembling in consequence of your light clothing.
"You're freezing" the monegasque remarked and took off his jacket.
"May I step closer?"
You wanted to decline his unspoken offer, but instead you nodded, getting a whiff of the pleasant scent of his perfume as he came closer and put his black jacket around you.
"Very kind of you" you mumbled, shyly smiling at him.
"I'm y/n by the way" you introduced yourself, while extending your hand to greet him.
"Charles" the monegasque answered, shaking your ice cold hand.
"Sharl" you repeated the french and, in your opinion, more fancy version of the name Charles.
"So tell me y/n, what brings you here in the middle of the night?" Charles asked, after you both turned towards the River that reflected the lights of the city.
"I ran away"
Tears welled up in your eyes, as soon as you thought back on the unpleasant event that had happened earlier this evening.
"After my boyfriend proposed to me" you proceeded, while pulling the jacket closer.
Charles carefully watched your expression, you looked devastated and guilty. Tears ran over your cheeks again, staining your face with mascara. He could see how sorry you were, how much abandoning your boyfriend was nagging on your conscience. The pained expression on your face made it somehow easy for him to empathize with you, even though your boyfriend was the one deserving the empathy.
"And it wasn't even that we never talked about marriage, of course we did and I was convinced I wanted this, but I guess, I didn't know the real answer until he went down on one knee. Ironic, huh?"
You faced him, finally catching a better sight of his pretty eyes, nevertheless you couldn't put your finger on the exact color of them. Maybe they were green, maybe hazel, they could have been ocean blue as well.
"You must think, I'm a cruel person" you snuffled, using the tissue to stop the tears.
But Charles shook his head.
"I'm not one to judge" he assured, handing you another tissue.
"But if you talked about it, what made you run away?"
You inhaled deeply, crossing your arms in front of your chest, after you wiped your nose.
"I believe, that love isn't for everybody" you turned your head away from him, gazing into the distance.
"For a long time I thought, I was one of those people. That was until I met Will, my boyfriend. He was very patient with me, never gave up on me and made me slowly like the idea of marriage and starting a family"
With a deep sigh you then continued.
"But seeing him get down on one knee made me question our whole relationship, it made me realize that I never wanted this" your voice broke and once again tears were brought to your eyes.
"And hearing him say these words felt like hands around my neck, they suffocated me" you bit your lip.
"So I ran"
You paused and he couldn't find the right words to say.
"I understand" Charles then responded compassionately, taking a closer look at your beautiful but sad face. Your jawline was clenched, your cheeks rosy, the big eyes glassy.
Even while crying she was gorgeous Charles thought. You both kept silent. Charles thought of ways to make you feel better and you choked on your sobs, desperately trying to calm down.
"Let's walk a bit, we don't want people to think we're planning on jumping off of the bridge, do we?" Charles suggested after a short period in attempt to make you smile. And he succeeded as he managed to bring a smile to your face.
"I can't walk through the city looking like a Panda though" you sighed followed by silly laughter. Charles watched your face light up and as he did so, he couldn't detain chuckling as well.
"May I help?" He asked politely, whereat you had to smile brightly.
"Yes, you may" you giggled.
"What?"
"Is every monegasque guy as polite as you are?"
"Most of them are" he replied, carefully wiping away the mascara stains off your face with a tissue. Meanwhile the monegasque cleaned your face highly focused, you were able to take a closer look at his beautiful eyes, finally registering his eyecolor. They were hazel with blue flecks, by far the prettiest pair of eyes you had ever seen.
"There you go, no more panda eyes" Charles grinned confidently.
"Merci"
"De rien"
For a moment you both tensley stared into each others eyes, forgetting your surroundings and circumstances for a split second up until reality crashed in on you, brought you both back to here and now. Charles cleared his throat and nodded towards the way back to the city.
"Let's go"
Quickly you slipped in to your uncomfortable higheels and walked awkwardly next to the taller brunette.
"Why would you believe that love isn't for everyone?" Charles questioned to start another conversation.
"Because I've seen it" you smiled sadly.
"My parents were never happily in love, my mother spent all their marriage cheating on him with different men until my dad's had enough and divorced her"
Charles' curious expression swiftly saddened as he heard your parents story and started to understand why you were so troubled with love.
"I'm sorry to hear"
"And yes, it's my parents business, but while my father was clueless about my mother's infidelity, I knew all along, since I was 13"
"That must have been horrible. Didn't you ever tell him?"
You bowed your head in shame and shook your head.
"No, my Dad and I never had the closest relationship and it's not that I've admitted it to myself back then, I've supressed it for years" you explained, burying your hands in the pockets of the jacket.
"When you love someone, the least thing you want to do, is hurt them. My parents hurt each other pretty badly, all the time. They are incapable of love"
Charles remained silent, he wasn't convinced of your statement, but unlike your parents his parents had had a loving relationship. They had set the perfect example for him and his brothers, they taught them what it meant to love and to be loved.
"I can already hear them talking behind my back: she would've made such a lovely bride, what a shame, she's fucked in the head" you changed the topic and laughed scornfully. The monegasque shook his head, loosening the tie around his neck.
"It's okay to choose not to get married" he told you, shooting you a reassuring look.
"Although running away wasn't the ideal way to decline his marriage proposal" he joked, trying to lighten up the mood.
"Tell me, you were alone with him"
You couldn't help but to smirk at Charles' comment. You knew, it wasn't funny, that you had to take full responsibilities of your actions once you got back, but right now you just wanted to allow yourself for only a few minutes to laugh about it in order to relieve the stress that had built up.
"I wasn't" you confessed guiltily.
"He proposed to me on my party"
"bordel de merde!" Charles cursed in his native tongue in disbelief and bursted into laughter.
"I changed my mind, you are a cruel person" he bantered as though he had known you for years already. You didn't counter, you just laughed with him. Charles meant it as a joke, but you understood that leaving your boyfriend behind with all the guests made you indeed a cruel person.
"Now to you: what were you doing on the bridge?" You asked full of curiosity.
"I needed some fresh air, I've had a rough evening" he grinned, even though there was a glint of misery in his eyes.
"What happened?"
"My family and I hosted a charity event on behalf of my deceased brother and my best friend" Charles responded, slipping his cold hands into his pockets.
"I'm sorry, did they pass recently?"
"No, my best friend passed away 5 years ago and my brother 7 years ago" suddenly his voice sounded evenly.
"Does it ever get better?" You asked cautiously to which he just sighed.
"No" his lips formed to a small, but sorrowful smile again.
"Some days are just less tough than others" Charles ran his long, slender fingers through his brown, untamed hair, releasing another, deeper sigh.
"In 2019 I also lost another friend and ever since that this crippling anxiety has been haunting me, the fear that I might lose another person that I love. I wouldn't survive that" he loosened his tie another time and also opened the first two buttons of his shirt as though he felt smothered by them.
"I spent hours and hours contemplating if I ever wanted to start a family one day and the answer was always the same: no, because to start a family meant more to lose" Charles added, meanwhile tears had welled up and gleamed in his eyes. You didn't notice that a teardrop fell from your eye and rolled over your cheek. You were moved by his words. What Charles had been through was unimaginable.
"I'm honestly so sorry, Charles. I've been whining all night about my problems, that definitely seem like champagne problems compared to yours and-"
"Y/n! It's fine!" Charles interrupted and laid his hand on your shoulder to calm you down.
"I approached you, remember? I was worried and I wanted to make you feel better and guess what? You made me feel better"
Perplexed you looked into his handsome face, recurringly getting lost in those hazel eyes of his.
"Sorry" you whispered and felt blood rushing to your face, tinging your already read cheeks crimson.
"You've apologized enough for today, don't you think?" He said with a crooked smile on his face, hardly any trace of grief left.
"You're right" you agreed with the monegasque.
The rest of the night you two strangers spent talking about everything and anything. You gave Charles a little London tour, showing him the true gems of your hometown, at least that what could be seen at nearly 12 A.M. Like silly children, you had been fooling around, both forgetting what an awful evening you both had had. When it was slowly time to part ways, Charles kindly accompanied you to the next taxi rank.
For a few meters you and the monegasque walked silently next to each other through the illuminated city of London. Both lost in thought, enjoying each others company without the deafening silence that would have came alongside awkwardness.
"I think, I just proved, that I'm no better than my parents. I've hurt the person that I love the most. I'm incapable of love just like them" you muttered as the realization came to you.
"I don't believe that" Charles disagreed.
"Love is not just a strong feeling, it's a choice and sometimes people stop choosing and that is fine"
You didn't respond, the heavy weight of your heart made itself noticeable, causing a feeling of paralysis.
"Do you wish, you had accepted?"
"No" you whispered.
"Then you're already more self-reflected than your parents" Charles contended.
"Is he a good man?"
"The best" you responded without hesitation.
"Then be honest with him, you owe him that"
You nodded nervously, already scared of the utterly unpleasant, but necessary conversation with your boyfriend.
"Thank you, Charles"
"You're welcome, y/n"
Finally a taxi was in sight, that you quickly hailed with a hand gesture.
"Give me your phone" you quickly demanded.
Confused the monegasque handed you his phone, after unlocking it for you. As fast as you could, you typed down your phone number and gave it back to its owner.
"For when you need to completely embarrass yourself" you smirked at Charles, before you took off his jacket and returned it to him as well.
"Thanks" Charles laughed and opened the door for you.
"Goodbye, Charles Leclerc"
Caught off guard he widened his eyes and held the door open after you got into the car.
"You know my full name, it's only fair to know yours as well"
"Y/n y/l/n" you answered right before you closed the door and the taxi took off.
To be continued...

Charles Leclerc x princess of Monaco reader
When their relationship gets discovered by the public eye, it's starting to get a bit chaotic. Contrary to [Y/n]'s worries, people react positively and start to even wonder if Charles is going to become an actual prince of Monaco.
words count: 3.6k
cursive is for memories
As I was finishing writing this last night, I've received such a fun idea for rivals to lovers for reader x Charles, so you know what fic to expect next;)
The Princess
Keeping your relationship private isn't an easy thing when you're royalty, the literal princess of Monaco, and your boyfriend is a famous Formula One driver. But somewhat [Y/n] and Charles managed to remain private until their engagement.
Of course, there were theories and people were suspecting it. Both [Y/n] and Charles were from Monaco and single for a suspiciously long period of time, so rumours were writing itself.
It wasn't that weird when it came to the princess being single, at first people even speculated about her preparing for some political marriage that would be beneficial for her country. However, Charles had quite the reputation when it came to dating, so fans were pretty surprised he 'stayed single' for so long.
Everything cleared up and fans' theories became reality, when [Y/n] and Charles were caught sneaking out of one parisian restaurant through the back door. It was the evening that Charles had proposed to [Y/n] and she wanted it to be officially announced on the next day, but unfortunately they were noticed by some paparazzi.
"I knew we weren't going to keep it this way forever," [Y/n] sighed, seated in the passenger seat of Charles' Rolls Royce Wraith, "but I wanted it to be officially announced."
"Don't worry, love." Charles assured, putting his right hand on the woman's thigh. His left hand was on the steering wheel, controlling the car at a speed that had surpassed the legal limit some time ago. "We might not have control over how the news got out, but it doesn't matter, people's opinions don't matter."
"True, but I hope the official announcement won't be overshadowed by the media's articles. You know how they are."
"And what if it does? The only thing that matters to me is our love, I don't care if people that I don't even know approve or not."
The night air whispered against the windows as they sped through the city, the glow of streetlights reflecting inside the car. They were already far from the center of Paris, no paparazzi in sight anymore.
As they reached the destination, which was a mansion located in a secluded place, Charles got out of the car and rushed to open the door for [Y/n].
"Thank you, love." [Y/n] smiled, stepping out of the vehicle. "I'm sorry this had to end with us evacuating like that."
"It's no problem at all, I'm quite used to the spotlight, nothing new for me." Charles joked, walking alongside his now fiancée towards the door of the building.
"I was hoping it wouldn't be like this. I mean, Nikolai has a pretty normal life in Australia, people don't stalk him wherever he goes. In Sydney he isn't Nikolai the prince of Denmark, he's just a normal person. I thought I could be the same in Paris."
"Chérie, as much as I love you, I cannot agree with you. I think there is a small difference between Paris and Sydney," Charles laughed.
They entered the mansion, the opulence of the surroundings contrasting with the night's earlier events. The warmth of the mansion was a contrast to the moments they had just left behind.
As they settled into a cosy sitting room, [Y/n] asked her maid to bring a bottle of champagne.
"Maybe I should leave my royal title." [Y/n] wondered out loud. "There were cases in which the royals left their titles to marry someone."
"No," Charles shook his head, "I would never forgive myself if you made this decision solely based on tonight. I think partially the fault is also mine, don't forget I drive in Formula One."
The maid returned with a chilled bottle of champagne, uncorking it as [Y/n] and Charles continued their conversation.
"Thank you," [Y/n] smiled at the maid and then shifted her focus back to Charles. "I appreciate your concern, Charles, but it's not just about tonight. I love you, and I want to be with you, but sometimes, I wish we could escape the constant judgement. I don't want my title to affect you in bad ways."
Charles reached for her hand. "I get it, [Y/n]. And I admire you for even considering it. But I fell in love with you, the princess, just as much as I did with [Y/n], the person. Your title is a part of who you are and I wouldn't want you to give that up for me."
"I just wish we could have a life where we're not constantly under the public microscope."
"Then we'll find a way to make it work. We'll create our own story, one that is above the titles and the fame. [Y/n], I've just proposed to you tonight. I wouldn't have done it if I wasn't ready for everything it brings into my life."
They continued to enjoy the evening while the flickering flames in the fireplace cast a warm glow over the room. The world outside seemed distant.
In that moment it was just Charles and [Y/n], two people deeply in love. Not 'the princess and the Formule Ona driver'. Inside the walls of [Y/n]'s family's mansion, they were just normal people.
On the next day, as [Y/n] and Charles had woken up, the media was already filled with rumours about them. It seemed as if the whole world was talking about last night.
"I contacted my spokeswoman," [Y/n] announced to Charles as they sat down to breakfast. "Our engagement will be officially announced as soon as possible, apparently the statement has been ready for a few months now."
Charles couldn't help but let out an amused chuckle slip out of his mouth. "A few months? Were they predicting our engagement?"
[Y/n] joined in his laughter, shaking her head. "Oh, they're always prepared for anything."
"How did your parents react? Have you spoken to them?"
"Well, it'll be the time for you to meet them. I've been postponing it, but now we're engaged and it can't be avoided."
"I've been telling you I should meet them already. I don't want them to think it was me who didn't want to do it."
"I told them I didn't want to jinx it!"
"Well, I've been practicing my royal etiquette. It time to make a use out of it."
"You'll be just fine, Charles. Just be yourself." [Y/n] giggled. "You know, in their eyes you're one of the best candidates."
Formula One was important for Monaco and Monaco was important for Formula One, so when [Y/n]'s parents found out she's dating a driver, a monégasque one, they were very content.
Unfortunately, there were some issues the couple was about to face. Being engaged didn't bring any legal responsibilities, however once they get married, things could change.
[Y/n] and Charles landed in Monaco in a private jet chartered for them. They were greeted by a big crowd of people eager to know the whole story.
"We aren't supposed to give impromptu interviews." [Y/n] said quietly, walking down the stairs from the plane.
Charles, a few steps behind her, replied with a mischievous grin, "Why not? It would be fun. Spontaneity can be good for us."
As they stepped off the plane, they began to walk side by side. Charles offered his arm to [Y/n], who gracefully looped her hand around his forearm.
"My spokeswoman advised this to me." [Y/n] answered. What she didn't mention was that her spokeswoman was worried about Charles saying something inappropriate.
The couple continued their walk with smiles on their faces. [Y/n] occassionaly waved at someone. It was a bit windy that day and she was thankful for wearing a long dress that day, because it wasn't that easy to be lifted up by the wind.
Somehow, their attention was then captured by a friendly-looking journalist who approached with a warm smile. [Y/n] gestured to the bodyguard, who Charles thought was unnecessary, indicating that they were willing to engage in a brief conversation.
"Princess [Y/n], Mr. Leclerc, thank you for sparing a moment." The woman began, without even introducing herself. "The world is eager to hear more about your engagement. Everyone is curious how did you manage to keep the relationship a secret for so long."
Charles and [Y/n] exchanged a brief glance.
Then [Y/n] decided to speak. "We just valued our privacy and wanted to savor the moments without external pressures. We're grateful for the time we had to get to know each other and form a connection away from the spotlight."
The journalist continued with the next question. "And what made you decide to go public with the engagement now?"
"We literally got engaged last night." Charles admitted with a playful smile. "We planned to announce it a little later, but we were seen anyway, so thought why not."
"Many people are already speculating about the wedding. Can you give us any hints about when and where it might take place?"
[Y/n], maintaining a diplomatic demeanor, responded. "We're still in the early stages of planning. When we have the details, we'll share them with everyone."
The woman didn't seem satisfied with the princess' reply. She decided to shift her attention completely to Charles. "And, Charles, as you might know, people have been calling you the unofficial prince of Monaco for years and now you're about to marry into the royal family."
Charles, caught off guard by the unexpected question, scratched the back of his head with a sheepish grin. "Well, unofficial prince or not, I don't think anyone would want me leading official ceremonies. I'm more comfortable behind the wheel of a racing car than in any royal procession."
The journalist chuckled at his candid response, appreciating the touch of humor to the so far serious interview. [Y/n] smiled lightly, but deep down she was worried about how the public might perceive Charles's.
Noticing [Y/n]'s concern, Charles quickly added with a playful wink. "But who knows? Maybe I'll become the first prince who can pull off a pit stop during a royal banquet."
"One last question. Do you think there will be any changes in your career, induced the responsibilities that come with being part of a royal family? For example, princess [Y/n]'s grandmother had to leave her Hollywood dream."
"Marrying into the royal family is a bit like joining a new team, isn't it?" Charles joked, searching for a proper answer in his mind. "But seriously, I don't see myself giving up my racing career. It's my passion and I'm lucky to have the support of [Y/n] and her family in pursuing it."
[Y/n] decided to chime in. "It's a unique situation and we'll try to find the balance between Charles' racing career and any new royal responsibilities."
Charles and [Y/n], having left the interview behind, found the car that was supposed to take them straight to [Y/n]'s parents' palace. Charles opened the door for [Y/n] and soon after that the both of them were sitting in the back of the car.
The car moved smoothly through the small city and thankfully the windows in the back were darkened, so that the couple could feel more comfortable. Charles couldn't ignore the quiet need for the driver's seat. The engine's sound and the familiarity of the steering wheel, and the city outside the vehicle, held a certain comfort that the backseat couldn't quite provide.
He stole a glance at [Y/n], her hand still intertwined with his. "You know, love, I can't stop thinking about how much I'd rather be driving right now. No offense to our chauffeur, of course."
The man in the driver's seat took a glance at Charles through the rearview mirror, smiling sympathetically.
[Y/n], with a smile, leaned closer to Charles. "I know, I know, but this way it's more official. You'll have opportunities to be the driver."
The chauffeur, overhearing their banter, chimed in. "I'd be happy to trade places with you, Mr. Leclerc, but I doubt the palace would approve."
Being reffered to as 'Mr. Leclerc' was another thing Charles had to get used to. For most of the time to people, to fans , journalists and others he was just Charles. Or Leclerc. And now people began to put 'mister' in front of his name.
The trio shared a light laugh as the car came to a stop in front of [Y/n]'s parents' palace. After stepping out of the vehicle, Charles and [Y/n] approached the entrance of the building and the man could feel some stress appearing in his body.
He wasn't stressing before at all. But now the reality of the situation hit him with full force. He was meeting his future wife's parents. Not only this, but also they were royalty.
Holy shit, Charles was about to marry into royalty.
The couple was holding hands, so [Y/n] could feel Charles' hand starting to lightly shake.
"I told you, you have nothing to worry about." [Y/n] assured, trying to calm his nerves.
"Easy to say," Charles said, a hint of anxiety in his voice, "your parents are, like, the most important people in Monaco."
"And? You as well. Fans have been referring to you as the prince of Monaco for years, think about it this way."
The palace doors opened, revealing a grand foyer. The couple stepped inside, entering a world of regality. It was this moment when Charles realized how real it all was. The anxiety lingered, but he found a remedy for it in [Y/n]'s presence.
The couple was walked into the drawing room. Charles glanced at [Y/n], who gave him an encouraging smile, and for a moment it was just the two of them. Not for long, however. Their little moment was interrupted by the arrival of [Y/n]'s parents.
"Mother, father," [Y/n] gracefully curtsied.
"Your majesties, it's an honor." Charles greeted, bowing his head.
By the time [Y/n] came back from her curtsy and Charles looked up, [Y/f/n] was extending his arm towards the man, offering a handshake. Charles respectufully accepted the gesture.
As their hands met, Charles decided to introduce himself. "Charles Leclerc," he said, being cut off before he could say more.
"Our national treasure, indeed. We're well acquainted with your accomplishments."
The room echoed with a shared laughter, breaking the ice and setting the tone for a lighter conversation. It was something that eased Charles' nerves. Of course, he still had to follow the etiquette, but [Y/f/n]'s remark made the situation feel less formal. After all, royalty is people as well.
The conversation smoothly continued as both the couples sat down on the elegant, antique sofas.
"And how did you two figure out 'this is it'?" [Y/m/n] inquired with a playful twinkle in her eye. "I don't think you've told me this story, [Y/n]."
"Of course, it started when we met at the race in Monaco a few years ago." [Y/n] smiled at the memory.
It was the first Monaco Grand Prix that [Y/n] attended, four years ago. Accompanied by friends, [Y/n] made a casual appearance in the paddock for media purposes, not initially a fan of Formula One. However, that day changed everything.
Their eyes met for seconds, but it was enough for Charles to get enchanted by [Y/n]. Her smile, her eyes, the way she moved so gracefully. They met again the same day after the race, when [Y/n] took her time to pay a visit into every garage.
"Mate, I'm telling you, shoot your shot." Sebastian encouraged his teammate. "Everyone on the grid can see the way you look at each other."
"Are you kidding?" Charles refused. "She's royalty. What would I even say?"
"Come on, you're not just anyone. You're Charles Leclerc. I'm sure she wouldn't refuse a date."
Charles couldn't help but chuckle at Sebastian's persistence. "Seb, she's a princess. I can't just approach her like it's not a big deal."
"It is not a big deal, though!"
"What if I make a fool out of myself?"
And so, the worries won that time. Charles, scared of embarrassing himself, barely made any conversation with the princess when she approached the Ferrari garage.
He waited a year, because a princess is not someome you can just hit up on social media. He waited a year, hoping she will visit the paddock again. She did, but unfortunately with a man. She was in a relationship with a prince, exactly the way royalty works.
Discouraged, Charles decided to give up on her, eventually finding himself in a relationship with someone else as well. The irony struck him when [Y/n] was single again a year later. Of course, he couldn't make any move, being in a relationship himself.
Maybe if he was single at the time, he would have finally found the courage to have a private conversation with the princess. He felt as if he missed out and he hated himself for having these thoughts.
One more year had passed and eventually the both of them found themselves single by the time of the Monaco Grand Prix. Charles didn't hold back and this time started a conversation with the princess.
"Your royal highness," he greeted, "fancy meeting you here again. Although you do seem lonely."
It was a fact. [Y/n] indeed came to the Grand Prix alone that year. Without a boyfriend, obviously due to the breakup, and also without her friends.
"Well, you've caught me," [Y/n] chuckled, "attenting the Grand Prix by my lonesome. I must admit, the prince was never a fan."
"Oh, and why is that?"
"He was an average insecure man. According to him, I am a fan just because you drivers are physically attractive." [Y/n] stopped herself from smiling after that sentence. After all, there was a bit of truth in this in her case.
"Well, aren't we?" Charles opted for a cheeky question.
"Touché." The smile creeped up onto the princess' face by itself. "I suppose there's some truth to his observations."
"And what exactly would a princess like yourself do in the case of getting asked for a deliberate encounter?"
"Are you suggesting something?" [Y/n]'s eyes sparkled with a hint of mischief.
"Yes, what do you say to a more intentional rendezvous, perhaps over dinner?"
[Y/n]'s smile widened, and she nodded. "Hmm, that sounds like a rather bold move. But I must admit, I appreciate boldness. Dinner it is."
And that was basically how their romance unfolded. Both [Y/n] and Charles were grateful for the way the events played out. Charles found in [Y/n] not just a princess but a person in whom he could find solace and support, and [Y/n] discovered in Charles a partner who liked her for more than her royal status.
The engagement, announced under unexpected circumstances, only strenghtened their commitment to each other. Not a long time after, the day of their wedding came.
The ceremony took place in the Saint Nicholas Cathedral and was attended by, first and foremost, the families of both the bride and the groom, by other members of royalty, and also by Charles' fellow drivers, principals of the teams, a lot of people related to Charles' 'workplace' in general.
[Y/n] walked down the aisle, holding the arm of her father. The moment important in the royal tradition. Charles, waiting at the altar, couldn't help but marvel at the sight of his soon-to-be wife. Her white dress highlighted her grace, making Charles question if he's actually worthy of being her husband.
The vows they exchanged were personal and heartfelt, expressing their love, talking about their past, including a promise to grow old together.
The reception was held at the palace. The couple danced their first dance as husband and wife, surrounded by the music of a live orchestra. A bit later, it was the time to socialize with the guests.
"You did end up as the prince of Monaco, after all." Charles' friend, Pierre, joked, recalling the nickname made up by fans.
Charles chuckled at Pierre's comment. "The people have manifested it. But I wouldn't have it any other way."
Esteban joined the laughter, adding with a grin, "Should we start addressing you as your royal highness now?"
The groom playfully rolled his eyes. "Let's not get ahead of ourselves. I'm still the same old Charles, just with a fancy title."
In the same moment the groom was having a chat with his friends, [Y/n] made her way toward his younger brother, Arthur, who served as the best man at the wedding.
"Princess [Y/n]!" Arthur said, raising his glass in a greeting. "Quite the celebration, isn't it?"
"It is, indeed," [Y/n] replied, smiling, "and your speech made it even better."
"Thank you, I tried my best. It was my first time and the huge amount of guests didn't make it better."
"You did wonderful regardless." She paused. "And, by the way, there's no need for formalities, we're family now. Call me just [Y/n]."
"Deal, [Y/n]," he clinked his glass with hers, "and, if Charles ever does anything to upset you, let me know. I'll try to put him in his place. He is really lucky to have you."
"Hopefully I'll never have to take you up on that offer," she giggled.
"I have a feeling you two are going to have an amazing life together."
The night continued with celebrations, toasts, music inside the walls of the enchanting palace. The newlyweds were happy to share this moment with all the people they had invited.
A few hours into the celebration, so late at night it could be as well called morning, [Y/n] and Charles found themselves swaying to a slow song.
"How are you enjoying the celebration, my prince?" [Y/n] whispered, audibly just for her husband.
Charles' smile reflected the happiness in his heart. "I couldn't have asked for more. One of my biggest dreams came true."
"One of them? What are the other big ones?"
"Becoming the world champion." He chuckled. "Do you even know me at all?"
[Y/n] playfully rolled her eyes. "I was hoping for some more romantic goal."
"I didn't say I'd trade you for the championship, did I?"
"I know you wouldn't." She paused. "One step at a time, Charlie. You'll be the first prince to win it."

Could you please do a ruby/baby leclerc imagine where she's a bit older and Charles being the overprotective dad, tells her she can't wear that and she has to change, and they fall out and then make up again
teen angst | charles leclerc
give my girl ruby a break, charles!! and for this, ruby is aged up to 18 and mathéo is 14 so double the teen angst for charles 😳 also sorry charles, you’re sticking with ferrari in this one until idk
Charles was looking for his family. He had even called Y/n, but she didn’t answer. He was getting frustrated, but all his worries left when he saw his wife of many years walk into the Ferrari garage with their two kids by her side. Even after all this time, he felt like a teenager in love with her.
“I was beginning to think you forgot about me.” Charles teased, giving his wife a kiss on the lips to greet her.
“I would never.” Y/n smiled at her husband. “We’re going to go see Pierre for a bit before the race begins. Ruby wants to wish him good luck.”
“Where is my good luck— wait, what are you wearing, Ruby Jules?” Charles looked at his daughter’s outfit. She had a black skirt and a cropped shirt.
“I found it in maman’s closet. She said she wore it on a first date.” Ruby said.
“No, I remember what she wore on our first date and it wasn’t that. We went to her favorite restaurant and she wore a black dress.” Charles confirmed.
“I said she wore it for a first date, papa, i didn’t mean yours.” Ruby teased and kissed her father’s cheek. “Bye, I’m going to see uncle Pierre. Good luck, old man.” Then she left in search of the Frenchman.
“Can I go see uncle Daniel?” Mathéo eagerly asked.
“In a second, baby. Your papa looks like he’s about to faint. What’s wrong, Charles?” Y/n asked.
“Y/n, did you not tell her to change?” Charles sighed. “I have a jacket in my drivers room, let me go get it.”
Before Charles could leave, Y/n stopped him. “Charles, it’s hot today and you’re going to make her wear a jacket? She looks nice.”
“I think she still looks ugly.” Mathéo added.
“Théo, what did i tell you about making fun of your sister?”
“She’s not here so it doesn’t count!”
Charles shook his head. “What if I give her a Ferrari shirt? I think I have one—“
“No one is changing. Charles, just accept that our little girl is growing up and her style is changing. She’s not going to wear shirts with rainbows on them anymore.” Y/n tried to get her husband to understand, but he still wasn’t convinced.
“I’m still not happy about it.” He mumbled.
“I know.”
As the Monaco national anthem played while Charles stood on the podium, he kept a close eye on his little girl, even if she was considered an adult in most countries. Ruby could tell he was mad about the outfit, but she didn’t see any problem with it. If her mother wore it years ago, why couldn’t she?
“I’ll be in dad’s driver’s room. Maybe he can actually celebrate without babysitting me from the podium.” Ruby rolled her eyes. She kissed her mother’s cheek and excused herself from the people around her.
Charles’ eyes still followed her until she was out of sight. He then mumbled a ‘what?’ to his wife wondering why Ruby had left even though the ceremony wasn’t done yet. His wife just shook her head.
Shit he thought to himself.
After the ceremony, he only had one person on his mind. His Ruby Jules.
“Go talk to her, she’s upset. She’s in your drivers room. Y/n said.
“Now can we go see uncle Daniel?” Mathéo asked for the millionth time.
Charles made his way to his drivers room, occasionally thanking people who congratulated him on his win. When he stood infront of the door to his room, he knocked them waited a couple seconds.
“Mon chéri? It’s papa. Can I come in?”
“It’s your room, dad.” Ruby said softly.
Charles turned the doorknob and opened the door. He found Ruby seated on the tiny sofa on her phone. “I saw you left before the could spray you with the champagne.” He tried to lighten up the mood.
“I’ve seen you do it many times.” Ruby mumbled.
Charles stayed silent for a bit since he didn’t really know how to even speak to her without making her upset. He didn’t remember himself being this difficult to talk to when he was a teen, or was he? He was definitely going to ask him mother about it later.
“I know you don’t like my outfit. But I like it and maman likes it too. These are hers after all.” Ruby spoke, breaking the silence between them.
“Your maman and I had a talk and I have to accept that you’re growing up. But you’re my Ruby Jules, my little girl. You know when you were small, you would always ask for ice cream at every race. . . Do you still want to get ice cream?” Charles asked the teen.
Ruby cracked a smile. Of course she remembered always asking for ice cream. That was her thing. “I do. But are you really mad about my outfit?”
“Furious? No, but you are growing up and you’re not going to wear rainbow shirts or princess fairy dresses anymore so if you like to dress like this then I say you look pretty.” Charles nodded.
“Princess fairy dresses,” Ruby chuckled. “For my nineteenth birthday, I say we bring back the princess fairy theme. I miss it.”

my kink is karma ⊹ ࣪ ˖
charles leclerc x singer!ex!reader, unspecified driver x singer!reader
24.07.24
୨ৎIt's been six months since you and Charles broke up in April. Since he kicked you out, his team's performance has noticeably declined. Despite the breakup, you've kept up with the races and are often seen watching them. Some of Charles's fans have labelled you as jealous or worse, but in reality, you simply find satisfaction in seeing Charles fail after he proved to be an inadequate boyfriend. So much so you would joke its your kink.
୨ৎ back a page ୨ৎ back two pages
pretend monaco gp was in april, not may lol also the timeline is all over dont mind it lol (this isnt one of my best fanfics)
The roar of the crowd was deafening as Charles crossed the finish line, claiming victory at the Monaco Grand Prix. You stood by the sidelines, your heart swelling with pride as he emerged from his car, triumphant and glowing with sweat and adrenaline. As the celebrations unfolded, you finally found a moment alone with him in his driver’s room.
"Congratulations, Charlie!" you beamed, wrapping your arms around him. "What are we going to do to celebrate tonight?"
His expression shifted from joy to irritation in a heartbeat. He pulled away from your embrace, running a hand through his tousled hair. "I just want a moment alone," he snapped, his voice low but sharp.
The words stung, and you took a step back, trying to hide your hurt. "What do you mean?"
He sighed heavily, avoiding your gaze. "You're always around, always asking for attention. It's like you’re trying to piggyback off my success to boost your own career."
Your breath caught in your throat. "That's not true, Charles. I’m just proud of you and want to support you."
"Well, it doesn’t feel that way," he said, his tone colder than the champagne being sprayed on the podium. "You're annoying, and I need some space."
Tears pricked at your eyes, but you blinked them away, refusing to let them fall. "Fine. I'll give you space." You brushed some loose hair behind your ear. "I’ll see you at home, I guess."
The following Tuesday, the apartment you shared felt colder than usual. Charles had been distant since the race, and you could sense something was wrong. As you walked into the living room, you found him waiting, his expression unreadable.
"We need to talk," he said, his voice devoid of emotion.
Your heart sank. "What’s going on?"
"I think it’s best if we go our separate ways," he said bluntly. "This isn’t working anymore."
You felt a lump form in your throat. "Charles, please, can we talk about this?"
He shook his head. "No. I’ve made up my mind. I want you to move out."
Tears finally broke free, streaming down your face. "But where will I go?"
"That's not my problem," he said, turning away from you. "You have until the end of today to pack your things."
With those final, cold words, he walked out of the room, leaving you standing there, shattered and alone in the apartment you had once called home together.
The days following the breakup were some of the darkest you’d ever known. You found refuge at your parents' home, which once felt warm and inviting and a good idea to bring Charles to, but now felt hollow and cold. Even when he ditched you, he couldn’t help but ruin something you held so dear. But instead of succumbing to despair, you channelled your emotions into your music. Late nights found you in your makeshift home studio/childhood bedroom, writing and recording songs that poured out your heartache, frustration, and eventual acceptance.
You released your music under an alias, wanting the work to stand on its own and not attract the flood of F1 fans wanting to see how you were after the "golden boy" broke everything off. To your surprise, the songs quickly gained traction. The raw emotion and honesty resonated with listeners, and your music began to blow up. The overwhelming support and success of your songs helped you heal. You started to feel happier and more fulfilled, finding strength in your own achievements. And it had only been a week!
One day, you decided it was time to reveal yourself. You posted a video on social media, explaining the journey behind your music and how it helped you through the toughest period of your life. The response was overwhelmingly positive, with fans praising your bravery and authenticity.
Meanwhile, Charles's career took a downturn after his Monaco win and the breakup. Ferrari’s performance in the following races was abysmal, plagued by mechanical failures and strategic errors. His frustration was evident, both on and off the track.
In a desperate attempt to distract himself and perhaps regain some control, Charles decided to change his appearance. During an interview, he was asked about the patchy, orange highlights in his hair.
“I thought a change might do me some good,” he said, running a hand through his hair and forcing a smile. “But clearly, it didn’t turn out the way I planned.” He sensibly decided to wear a hat until his mother was free to fix it, yet she had very little free time that lined up with his busy schedule.
Maybe karma was real, and it was his turn.
The Canadian Grand Prix was a disaster for Charles. During the race, a miscalculation led to a devastating crash. The car spun out of control, smashing into the barriers. The crowd gasped, and the cameras quickly cut to the chaotic scene. Fortunately, he was unharmed, but the crash marked a low point in his career.
As the medics rushed to Charles’s side, the camera panned over the crowd. There you were, sitting in the stands with your sunglasses on, watching the scene unfold. A slight smile played on your lips—not out of malice, but as a quiet acknowledgment of how far you had come since that painful breakup. You had found your path and your peace, and seeing Charles now, it was clear you were better off.
As Charles struggled with his racing career, his personal life took a turn that left many puzzled. He began dating a string of significantly younger women, each relationship seemingly lasting no more than two weeks. The media and fans noticed the pattern, and speculation ran rampant. It seemed like Charles was desperately searching for something—or perhaps someone—to fill the void.
Meanwhile, your career continued to flourish. You were seen at a variety of high-profile events: fashion shows, music festivals, charity galas, and, yes, occasionally at races. Your rising fame meant your presence was increasingly noted, and the public couldn’t help but draw connections between your appearances and Charles’s chaotic love life.
Some of Charles’s more fervent fans took to social media to voice their opinions, accusing you of being jealous of his new girlfriends and of Charles himself. They claimed you were trying to stay in the spotlight by being seen in the same places he frequented. The reality, however, was far from their accusations; your success had brought you to these venues on your own merit.
One evening, you attended a high-profile charity gala. Dressed in an elegant gown, you mingled with other artists, philanthropists, and celebrities. The event was buzzing with excitement, but the atmosphere shifted when Charles arrived with his latest girlfriend, an 18-year-old model. Whispers spread through the crowd, and cameras clicked furiously as the couple made their entrance.
You found yourself near the press line when Charles and his date approached. Despite the awkwardness, you struggled to hold back your laughter, it coming out as a quick snigger. Charles’s eyes briefly met yours, and there was a flash of something—regret, maybe, or recognition of how much had changed. Your reaction caught the lingering eyes of another driver who was present at the same gala.
Later that evening, you were approached by a group of Charles’s fans when a different driver had so graciously offered to walk you home. Their faces were a mix of anger and curiosity. “Why are you always around?” one of them demanded. “Are you still hung up on Charles?”
You took a deep breath, maintaining your calm demeanor. “I’m here for my career,” you said evenly. “Just like everyone else. My presence here has nothing to do with Charles.” You turned to look at the man holding your hand. "Charles is the least of my concern." After you said his name wrong in front of these die-hard fans, their faces morphed into more disgust (if possible).
It had been another tough race weekend for Charles. His frustrations were evident not only on the track but also during the post-race interviews. Sitting down with a popular motorsports journalist, he was asked about the ongoing challenges with his team and his personal life.
"Charles, it's been a rough season for you. How are you coping with all the changes, both professionally and personally?" the journalist inquired, genuinely concerned.
Charles shifted in his seat, a hint of irritation flashing in his eyes. "Yeah, it's been tough. The car isn't performing as well as we hoped, and there have been a lot of distractions off the track too."
The journalist nodded, sensing an opportunity to dig deeper. "Speaking of off-track distractions, there's been a lot of media attention on your former partner. She's been seen with another driver quite frequently. Any thoughts on that?"
Charles's jaw tightened, and he forced a smile. "I think it's interesting how some people move on quickly and find comfort in familiar circles. It’s almost like they’re trying to stay relevant by associating with those still in the spotlight."
The journalist raised an eyebrow, clearly intrigued. "Are you suggesting that she's using this new connection to boost her own profile?"
Charles shrugged nonchalantly. "I'm just saying it's curious. I focus on my career and my performance. If others choose to spend their time differently, that's their prerogative."
The comments made by Charles quickly spread across social media and the news, stirring up a storm of speculation and opinions. Fans and analysts dissected his words, trying to decipher whether he was shading you and the other driver you had been seen with.
You had indeed been seen frequently with another driver, but it wasn't anyone's business, especially Charles's, if you "moved on too quick." Both of you had bonded over shared interests and the mutual understanding of life in the spotlight. The growing relationship had been a source of comfort and support for you, but now it was being dragged into the media circus.
Despite the media frenzy, you continued to thrive. Your music career soared, and your public appearances were met with admiration and respect. The relationship with the other driver remained a positive influence, untainted by the rumors and insinuations.
As for Charles, his comments eventually faded from the headlines, overshadowed by the ongoing drama and excitement of the racing season. The world continued to watch, always eager for the next twist in the tale, but you had found your peace and your path, no longer defined by someone else's shadow.

Watch Your Mouth - Max Verstappen
<word count - 1067>
scenario - after a self-proclaimed 'mistake' of a night with Red Bull driver Max Verstappen, you run into him the next day at the Monaco Grand Prix. All we'll say is he's not overly happy to see you.
Monaco. The most magical place in the world. You could smell money as you wandered down the pavements and nearly everyone was famous in some capacity.
You came every year to the grand-prix, and it had nearly become a tradition. But, what you never had expected, was running into a lot of the drivers in the club you frequented any time you were in Monte Carlo.
Surprisingly, you had gotten along really well with a certain Dutchman, and you had both stumbled into his hotel room, shirt buttons being undone and dresses being unzipped. As much as you tried to lie to yourself, you couldn't dispute that it was one of the best nights of your life.
The next morning, you woke up in a tangled sea of sheets with an unfamiliar, but not unwelcome, pair of arms wrapped around your waist. For a few moments, you led there, recounting the nights events.
Not long after, the man next to you woke up, and hopped out of bed. Checking the clock, he rushed around getting dressed in his Red Bull apparel and dashing out the door. All he said to you was, "Feel free to order room service. I'll see you around," as he left you, naked, in his bed.
As expected, you were less than impressed. You felt like a bit of karma was in order, so you ordered the most expensive room service you could find - even if having lobster for breakfast wasn't ideal, it still tasted incredible.
To top it off, morning drinking didn't sound horrendous, you thought the best champagne on the menu would suffice. And oh boy it did. Leaving the dirty dishes behind, you slipped out of bed and stole a hoodie as well for compensation.
You forgot about the night as quickly as it had gone by, and headed to the Monaco GP with your paddock pass in hand. Scanning the pass, you wandered down the grid, taking it all in. Of course, you had to go to the pit lane to look around before everyone was cleared off for the race.
You peaked in the Ferrari garage, spotting Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz in the corner, talking about something. You couldn't help but fangirl, and all of that was increased when you walked by Lewis Hamilton.
Even if you did come here every year, it never got any less mesmerizing and awe-inspiring each time. As you continued, you bumped into someone who was definitely in a hurry to be somewhere. "I'm so sorry, I-" you started, but then you saw who you had bumped into.
"Oh, it's you," the Dutchman scoffed, looking you up and down. He had to admit, he could see why he had taken you home last night, but he couldn't get distracted right now. "It's lovely to see you too," you sarcastically smiled, his tone was far from pleasant.
"I wonder what the papers would say if they found out that F1 World Champion Max Verstappen was the kind of guy to fuck and run," you smirked, watching rage cloud his crystal blue eyes.
"Watch your mouth," he quietly scolded, leaning in closer to you to try and stop someone else from hearing you. "Is that what you really want? You seemed to quite like it last night," you teased.
Suddenly, Max grabbed your arm and dragged you through the Red Bull garage as quickly as his legs could take him. Opening a cupboard and slamming the door behind him, he flicked on the tiny blinking light in the room.
"If you know what's good for you, you'll keep that goddamn mouth of yours shut," he spat, his finger pointing in your face. He had fucked up. And he had fucked up with the wrong person. "Last night, you seemed to like it wide open," you carried on, loving the sight of him all flustered and scared. You wouldn't say anything to the papers, but he didn't need to know that.
Max sighed, in his head he was trying to find a way to solve the problem. "Don't say anything," he commanded, moving closer to you until your back bumped into the wall. "Funny, you were begging for the opposite a few hours ago," you winked, lapping up how hot and bothered he was getting.
You let your mouth fall open as your imitated moans fell from your lips. Closing your eyes, you let yourself be transported back to his hotel room, the rest of the world locked outside of the door. "Fuck Max, harder," you whined, throwing your head back against the stone of the wall.
As Max watched you, he was unsure of what to do. His jaw twitched uncomfortably as he listened to the sweet sounds of you. Was he aroused? Yes, yes he was. But now wasn't the time for this.
Without warning, Max pressed himself against you and pinned your hands up above your head in one swift movement. Aggressively, he stole your lips with his. It was surprising, but your tongues danced together in a perfect harmony.
Ripping his lips off of yours, he looked down at you - lips puffy and cheeks reddened. "I thought that would shut you up," he smirked, loving having the upper hand right now. There was just something about you that drove him wild, and he nearly didn't recognize the man he was around you.
"I think you're going to have to do it again, I might just start running my mouth," you pouted, and it didn't take long for Max to dive back into the kiss, grinding against you. "What's the time?" He asked.
"You're the one wearing a watch, you tell me," you scoffed at his silly question.
"I've got five minutes," he told you, taking one of his hands away from your wrists that were still held above your head. "We can do wonders in five minutes," you smiled, the devilish glint in his eye telling you everything you needed to know.
Max attached his lips to your neck, and you both knew that you'd struggle to stay away from each other. A lot can happen in five minutes, and you two knew you'd be a testament to that.
A/N - I have a few things to say here so bear with me. Part three of 'Baby Fever' will be out soon, I promise! Would you guys like a part 2 to this? Also, this is my favourite header I've made. I just love all the blues and Max looks great soooo....

Wild Nights || CL16 {5}
Pairing: Charles Leclerc x songstress!reader Summary: You show your support for Charles and he shows his support for you. Warnings: 18+only, just Charles being himself WC: 2k
F1 Masterlist || One || Two || Three || Four || Five || Epilogue
“Hurry up or you’re going to be late to your own show,” Bea urged as she tugged at your arm. “Come on, we have to go!”
You rose on your tiptoes and tried to look over the sea of people. “Just one more minute.”
“I gave you ten.”
You checked your phone again but there was no new message from Charles since his last update that he was just going to quickly shower. You had briefly seen him before the free practice, but other than a few quiet words in the back of Ferrari’s hospitality you hadn’t really spent any time with him since landing in Las Vegas.
You had thought scheduling concerts in the same city would mean seeing more of Charles but nothing was ever quite that simple.
Sighing, you sent him a message apologising for leaving without a proper goodbye and reminded him not to wait up for you. It would be late by the time you finished the show and he needed an early night before his qualifying race, but hopefully you were able to find a few minutes together in the morning before he left.
The drive through the city was long with traffic congestion and you spent most of it checking your phone to the point that Bea leaned over and ripped it from your hands.
“Hey!” you growled as she tossed it into the front seat beside the chauffeur. “I was using that.”
“No, you were distracted by it.” She grabbed a bottle of champagne from the minifridge and popped the cork. “Here, bottoms up.”
“Classy,” you murmured as you took the bottle and drank straight from it.
“Whatever.” She rolled her eyes and took it back for a quick swig of her own. “At least I know it will get you to relax. Luckily your makeup has survived the day, there won’t be time to redo it.”
“There was a time when you said I didn’t need make up, is this you saying I’m getting ugly?”
“Pfft, bitch, please. If I thought you were ugly I would tell it to you straight, like a good friend. You’re beautiful and I’m jealous, I just thank god I have these,” she said as she grabbed her boobs for emphasis. “They kill my back, but they look damn good.”
“Forget your back, I heard they nearly killed Pierre,” you chuckled. “I think his fans would have a problem if you accidentally smothered him with those.”
“At least he would die happy and doing what he loved. Imagine that obituary.”
“I’d rather not.” Your nose wrinkled at the thought of any type of obituary for a racer, it was an all too real possibility you tried not to dwell on.
Bea agreed quietly with another drink from the bottle and cast her eyes out the window, taking in the bright lights of the strip. She nearly spit out her mouthful at the sight of an electronic billboard advertising the first Las Vegas F1 race. “Wow, they really got him again?”
You leaned over the seat and saw the ad of Charles decked out in a glittering jacket, elvis wig and pink feather boa as a deck of cards rained down. A laugh bubbled up as you took the bottle back and brought it up to your lips with a dopey smile. “He’s too sweet and trusting, a little gullible too.”
“No shit, Sherlock,” she joked as the car pulled into the service entrance of the MGM. and she took the half empty bottle away. “Can’t have you drunk on opening night.”
“Can I have my phone back?”
She reached through the front and grabbed it off the seat. “Fine, but no moping like a sad sap because we have to run.”
The door to the car opened to an entourage of people chiding you for the tardiness and you were hustled through the back channels of the building, stopping briefly in a room little larger than a closet to change outfits before you reached the backstage area.
“You have five minutes,” the head coordinator warned as Bea arrived with a cup of lemon, ginger and honey tea to help warm your vocal chords.
You thanked her as you sipped the hot drink and felt your phone vibrate with a notification as Scuderia Ferrari’s Instagram went live. ‘Music Challenge’ was the caption and you waved Bea over knowing they were always entertaining.
“Oh, I love this song,” Charles exclaimed as he nodded his head along.
“You say that every time,” Carlos complained.
“Kill Bill?”
“Correct!” The interviewer confirmed as Carlos groaned and fell back into the couch in defeat.
“How do you know that?”
“I listen to a lot of music.”
They both fell silent as the next song started and they both smashed their hands on their little bells.
“Flowers,” Carlos shouted. “Flowers, flowers, I got it first.”
“You got it loudest,” Charles disputed but the moment the next song started he was jumping up and pinging his bell in time. “Y/N, Love You Need!” He turned to Carlos and blew him a kiss. “It’s my song.”
“That’s not fair, I don’t have a song.”
“I’m sure someone has written a song about you, probably not a love song though,” Charles teased before he checked his watch. “Ay, I need to go or the next song she writes about me won’t be happy either. Ciao!”
“He quit so I win, right?”
“No, no, no I didn’t quit.” Charles paused his exit to point an accusing finger back at his teammate. “You took so long fixing your hair that we started late.”
“Still, I win, because you’re leaving.”
“See this,” Charles turned to the camera, his hand still waving to his team mate, “he doesn’t care about winning, he’s just upset he wasn’t invited to Y/N’s concert. Carlos?”
Carlos batted his eyelashes with a smile. “Yes, Charles?”
“Would you like to come with me?”
Carlos was already on his feet. “I thought you would never ask.”
Charles rolled his eyes but couldn’t help laughing. “Vamos, we’re late.”
You turned to Bea as the live feed ended and you shoved your phone into the storage cupboard beside the stairs leading to the stage. “Did you know he was coming?”
“Duh, who do you think set him up with a backstage pass?” She shrugged and put her own phone away along with her jacket. “I gave him a few in case he wanted to bring some friends.”
You cocked an eyebrow and smirked. “You mean Pierre…”
“I mean friends, and if that happens to be Pierre then I have no problem with that.”
You didn’t have an opportunity to tease her further about the commitment issues the two of them had before a microphone was shoved into your hands and you were pointed to the stage entrance.
“Kill it babe!” Bae shouted with a thumbs up as she jogged around to the other stage entrance for her cue.
The sold out crowd was a swirling mass of energy and it swelled as you stepped into the spotlight, their screams barely blocked by the earpieces that you had pushed into your ears as you took the stairs. The rush of seeing the excitement on their faces never ceased to amaze you and you bounced on your toes eagerly.
“What’s up, Las Vegas? Are you doing alright tonight?” Their responding screams shook the stage and widened your grin. “That’s good to hear, because, for me, well, I’m Fine.”
The music started and remembered the day you started writing the song, taking off from Monaco. It had begun as a tribute to Bea and the friendship you shared but then as the weeks went by and Charles stayed in touch it had evolved. It really was a song for any sort of relationship and why it was one of your favourites after Love You Need.
“Woke up too early, Almost put salt in my coffee, Oh, I thank God that you stopped me before that.”
You grinned to the shadows where you knew Bea was waiting, having been the inspiration for the line.
“Tripped over something, Spilt it all over your front seat, Didn't even say I'm sorry about that.”
You had been so frazzled trying to clean the mess up in Charles’ ridiculously expensive car that you had forgotten to apologise at the time. You had made it up to him later, and luckily it hadn’t stained, probably credit to the expensive upholstery.
“On and on, it's just more of the same And even when you ask if I'm okay… I try to say I'm fine (I'm fine).”
The drummer came in with the heavy beat for the chorus and the hands in the crowd waved in time as Bea jumped into the spotlight for her parts. This was what made it a favourite of yours, when she grasped your hand like she had when you had broken down over your ex. She had called you on your bullshit when you said you were fine and she had been there through the worst. It made performing this with her even more special.
The entire concert was going to be even more special knowing Charles was going to be in the crowd soon and he knew exactly which songs were devoted to him.
You shouldn’t have been surprised that he was coming because he balanced you, and everything was equal between you. You supported him in his races whenever you could make it to them and he supported you when he could make it to yours, but you knew how tired he would have been after his day.
There were thousands of people beyond the blindly bright lights of the stage but somehow you knew where to look when you felt the energy shift halfway into the set. And there he was.
He must have changed in the car as he was no longer wearing the bold red Ferrari shirt, opting for more sedate casual clothes to blend in with the crowd. It didn’t exactly stay that way when you pointed to him during one of his songs, singing the lines solely for him and drawing the attention to him.
“Can we stay frozen in time, in between hello and goodbye?”
You collapsed onto the bed of the hotel still riding the high from the concert and Charles fell down with you, equal parts of happiness and exhaustion warring in his eyes.
“You should get some sleep,” you said as you rolled onto your side to face him so you could cup his cheek, your thumb brushing over the 5 o’clock shadow along his jaw.
“I will soon,” he murmured as his arm curled over your waist and pulled you closer. “I just want to hold you for a little while.” He tucked you into the curve of his body until there wasn’t any space left between you, his cheek resting atop your head. “You make me so proud, seeing you living your dream. I wish I could be at every concert.”
“Me too,” you sighed longingly. “It’s the hardest thing when we have to say goodbye.”
His chest rose and fell slowly as he relaxed in the embrace, bordering on the edge of sleep. “You’ve never asked me not to race.”
“Why would I do that?” You pulled back to see his face and recognised the look. It was something his ex had asked of him. “Would the moon ask the sun not to rise? No, because both are equally important and their paths still cross. We are the sun and the moon.”
You felt his smile as he kissed your forehead. “Am I the moon or the sun?”
“The moon,” you stated as you tipped your head back so you could stare into those gorgeous eyes if his. “You are there to lighten my darkest nights.”
“And you make my day infinitely brighter.”

With a heavy heart, your fingers traced the same piano note over and over again. The sound was monotonous, a stark contrast to the busy and lively world of your recent world tour. Now, back in your New York City apartment, life seemed dull and uneventful. It was even more glum now that you were alone, with no one to share your thoughts and experiences with.
You sat hunched over the piano, staring at the black and white keys in front of you. Your eyes had a distant glare, as if lost in a deep and melancholic reverie. The city sounds outside seemed muted and far away, as your mind was stuck on pause. Every memory felt like it was on repeat, playing over and over again.
In this moment of isolation, all you could do was sit and reflect on the ups and downs of your career, the highs and lows of fame. The emptiness inside seemed to grow with each passing moment, until it consumed your whole being. You were trapped in a bubble of loneliness, yearning for human connection but unable to break free from the walls surrounding you.
Charles had been your partner for five years. When you were first rising to stardom in the music world, you received an invitation to perform the national anthem at a prestigious Formula One race. As you stood on the track, your heart pounding with nerves and excitement, you caught sight of Charles, one of the esteemed drivers. The connection between you was immediate, a spark of recognition and attraction that lit up the air around you like fireworks. In that moment, you knew that love at first sight wasn't just an empty phrase, but a tangible reality. You could feel it deep within your bones, a warmth spreading through your body that told you this was meant to be.
A deep ache, like a heavy weight, settled in your chest as silent tears fell down your cheek. The emotions swirled and collided inside of you - sadness, hurt, anger, and betrayal all jostling for dominance. Despite both of your chaotic schedules, especially with your tour this year, you had always made sure to prioritize spending time together whenever possible. But during the last month of your tour is when things fell apart.
It was like a sudden storm had swept in, tearing down everything you thought was stable and secure. At first, it was hard to even process what was happening. The shock and confusion were overwhelming, making it difficult to make sense of the situation. But as time passed, the anger and betrayal only grew stronger, raging like a wildfire inside of you. You released a new song two weeks after the split, I Can Do It With a Broken Heart.
The media went into a frenzy. Fans from both you and Charles speculated on the recent events, but the lyrics in the song were simple and undeniable - Charles had ended things with you. You couldn't help but worry about the hate he must've been receiving, especially since the two of you hadn't spoken since the night everything fell apart. And to add onto the chaos, you still had a tour to finish, forcing a smile and putting on a brave face for the fans that had no idea of the turmoil within.
Being on tour was a necessary distraction, a way to keep your mind off of things. Yet as you lay in yet another unfamiliar hotel room, the same thoughts still haunted you. The rooms all looked different, but they were all characterized by the same sterile and impersonal feeling. The only thing that used to make them feel like home was the sound of Charles' voice on the phone. You would talk for hours, often until you drifted off to sleep, so even though you were physically alone, you never felt truly lonely.
Despite releasing a new single, the public still didn't have the full story of what happened between the two of you, and why you had broken up. With Charles choosing to remain silent in the media, you were left to navigate through it all on your own. It was a daunting task, trying to piece together your relationship and figure out where it went wrong without any input from him. But you refused to let his silence define your story.
Throughout your life, anxiety had been a constant shadow, lurking around every corner and following you wherever you went. It wasn't until a year ago that you finally sought help and medication for it. During this time of struggle, Charles was your unwavering rock, always there to hold you up and support you. Relationships in general were uncharted territory for you when you first met Charles, and the unknown of it all scared you most.
But as the months went by, he became your confidant, someone with whom you could share your deepest worries and fears during those late night conversations. He would listen with patience and understanding, easing your anxieties with his calm presence.
Yet when fate intervened and pushed him away from you, he was not as accommodating as you had hoped. You couldn't blame him entirely, but the void left by his absence consumed you more with each passing day. In an attempt to express all that you felt and lost, you turned to your songs as a means of communication – letting the lyrics speak for your heartache and longing.
In your next release, an EP of four songs would be put out into the world, the lyrics explaining everything. In the week after the release, fans had put all of the pieces of the puzzle together. You spent the hours scouring social media reading the analysis of your relationship, all of it correct but nevertheless heartbreaking.
~
One particular post analyzed the meaning of the four songs perfectly:
this is me trying: This song is the beginning of the end. Y/N is clearly struggling mentally and is pleading to be understood that they are simply doing the best that they can do. It is a desperate call for affection and is riddled with self doubt. After such a long relationship, Charles could have begun to crack, and Y/N is trying to keep it all together.
wildflower: This is clearly about Charles’s past girlfriend. He dated her for many years, and was speculated to be one of Y/N’s friends. The lyrics depict her struggling to get past the thought that Charles is actually over his old girlfriend, and she feels terrible about “betraying” her to date Charles. Further in the song the lyrics showcase that Charles clearly loves Y/N, but again her internal battle prohibits her from seeing the truth in their relationship as things seem to break further.
champagne problems: This is the breaking point. Shocking to fans everywhere, this song reveals that Charles proposed to Y/N, but due to her already detailed mental struggles and anxieties, the commitment was too much for her to bear. The melody and lyrics are filled with regret and a tinge of shame for not being able to commit to Charles, no matter how much she loved him and vice versa.
chloe or sam or sophia or marcus: The aftermath of it all, she details that even though she cannot commit to marriage with Charles she still loves him deeply and wishes that they could still be together. This caused fans to piece together that after she said no to the proposal, Charles ultimately cut things off.
~
With misty eyes, you read the post that brought back a flood of memories. The night he proposed in Monaco, the city where your love had blossomed and thrived, was etched in your mind with crystal clarity. In your shared apartment, tucked away from the bustling streets, the two of you had a private and intimate dinner that would change your lives forever. Warm flickering candles cast a soft glow over the dining room, while rose petals adorned the table and floor.
Despite being in the comfort of your own home, you both dressed to impress, savoring this rare moment when it was just the two of you. "You look absolutely stunning, mon chéri," he whispered as he gazed at you with adoration, making you feel like the most special woman on Earth. Every detail of that night was ingrained in your heart and soul, a cherished memory that would never fade.
Your hand rested on the white tablecloth, and he gently placed his on top. The warmth of his touch sent a jolt through your body. "Thank you, love," you murmured before he leaned in to place a soft kiss on the back of your hand. As the night went on, you caught up on each other's lives - him excitedly sharing about his latest Formula One race while you reminisced about your past tour experiences. But as the dinner neared its end, you noticed his fidgeting and asked him if he was okay. Suddenly, he stood up from his chair and sunk down on one knee next to you. Your heart skipped a beat, and everything seemed to slow down as he reached into his pocket and pulled out a small velvet box.
“Mon amour, I don’t want to spend another day without calling you my wife. You’re the most important thing in my life, and I want to spend the rest of it loving you and giving you the world. Will you marry me?”
Your throat constricted as sweat formed on your palms. The words caught in your throat, refusing to come out. This wasn't how it was supposed to happen - not here, not now. Marriage was never a topic of conversation between you and Charles, but suddenly it felt like an inevitable future staring you in the face at this dinner table. You weren't ready for this.
“I don’t- I can’t-”
~
Your fingers moved deftly across the ivory keys of your piano, playing the familiar beginning chords of "Champagne Problems." Tears continued to fall down your cheeks, leaving glistening trails in their wake. Memories flooded your mind as you played, memories of a love once strong and unbreakable.
But now, as you sat alone in the dimly lit room, you couldn't help but feel the weight of that love slipping away. You missed him with every fiber of your being. You yearned for his cheeky smile and the way his crystal eyes sparkled when he looked at you. The memory of his messy bed head first thing in the morning made you ache with longing.
The thought of living without him was unbearable. You longed for his laughter, how he would throw his head back and let out a hearty sound that always filled you with joy. You could almost see his nose crinkle in amusement at a bad joke, just as it always did.
And oh, how you missed those moments when he would wear his glasses, simply because he knew how much you loved the way he looked in them. You could picture him now, standing before you with that charming grin and those frames perched on his nose.
But now they were only memories, and you were left to play out this heartache through the melody of your piano.
The realization hit like a freight train, knocking the wind out of you. You couldn't fathom the idea of moving on from this moment, it was too pivotal, too raw. With a sudden surge of energy, you leapt up from your seat at the piano and frantically searched for your phone among the scattered sheet music and empty coffee cups. Your fingers flew over the keys as you dialed the number you knew by heart, each digit a familiar melody in your mind.
One ring, and he picked up.

(Don’t You) Forget About Me
Summary: Charles promised her he would call her. Problem is, he doesn’t. Pairing: Charles Leclerc x reader [f] Warnings: None Word count: 2.6k AN: As soon as I published Champagne Supernova I was unhappy with how I ended things because I’m nothing if not a sucker for a happy ending and so here we are. I hope you enjoy :) As always, comments are very much appreciated. As are reblogs! And no, eL, we’re not turning this into a multi-chapter even though that is in fact the problem here and I seem to be only capable of writing two-part stories for Charles...
Champagne Supernova (aka part 1)
Charles watches as her fingers fly over his screen before she locks his phone and hands it back with a wicked smile, “Let’s see if you remember my name- Later.”
“Oh, I will,” he assures her, because he doesn’t think he’ll ever be able to forget it. He’s known her for not even an hour but already it feels like they’ve already spent a lifetime together, like she’s always been right there next to him, if only slightly out of reach.
“Good,” she says, interrupting his thoughts, and leans over the centre console, pressing a gentle kiss to his cheek that he can feel burn into his skin nonetheless. “I’ll be seeing you then.”
“You will,” he replies with a wink that he hopes makes him seem more confident than he is.
“Thank you for driving me home,” she tells him as she steps out of the car. “Drive safe.”
He’s not sure if she means now or when he’s back on track again next week but still he tells her, “Always.”
He doesn’t want to go, not really, but there are people waiting for him, people to take pictures with, and hands to shake, his only appeal that those people can then boast they know a Formula One driver. He hates it. Hates this part of his job. Hates that he has to leave her and this promise of something more behind but he knows he has to, and so he waves and tries not to look back because he thinks he’ll never be able to leave if he does.
***
“Where were you?”
He could have given a vague answer, could have told his older brother that he simply went outside for some fresh air, but instead he tells the truth because he doesn’t want to lie about her, “A girl bumped into me and I spilled my drink on her so I-”
Lorenzo gestures at his chest “So where’s your jacket.”
He shrugs, because isn’t it obvious? “I gave it to her.” Then, as if that’s what Lorenzo will be worried about, “I’ll get it back. Later.”
His brother eyes him suspiciously but doesn’t say anything and instead starts taking off his own jacket and hands it to Charles with a nod towards the dining room, “Here, you’ll need this for the pictures. They’re waiting for you.”
Charles figures they can wait a little longer and takes his time putting the slightly too big jacket on, still thinking about her. The way her dressed hugged her curves, even more there where his drink soaked the fabric and-
“Charlie,” Lorenzo flicks the side of his head with an exaggerated sigh, “where’s your head at?” He gives him a gentle shove towards the door and repeats his earlier words, “They are waiting for you.” And because Lorenzo is his older brother and always seems to know exactly what is going on in Charles’ mind he winks and adds, “You can tell me about her later.”
***
“So I drove her home,” Charles says, coming to the end of his story, “and told her I would be back for my jacket.”
Next to him Lorenzo keeps his eyes on the road and nods but from the backseat Arthur lets out a low whistle before he leans forward and rests his elbows on the seats on either side of him, “So you’re just going to show up at her house or-?”
Charles smiles and shakes his head, “I asked for her number and-”
“Oooh,” Arthur draws out and ruffles Charles’ hair. “Very smooth, frérot.”
Charles ignores him, “-I’ll call her later this week.”
***
He doesn’t.
He doesn’t call and he doesn’t pick up the jacket. He wants to. God, does he want to but he gets home late and the next morning, before he’s even had the chance to replay last night’s events in his mind, he gets a call from Mattia who asks- Makes him fly out to Maranello that same day. Something about more testing, more meetings with the team, more efforts to turn the season around to try and clench the championship. He goes, of course he does.
He still has a chance to become world champion and it’s everything he’s ever worked for in his life and so he goes and he doesn’t call.
***
After a week in Maranello the triple header starts. Spa first, Zandvoort next, and then Monza. Two podiums in three races isn’t bad, but he doesn’t win and so it doesn’t really count. Max is more than a hundred points ahead of him in the standings but Charles still thinks he has a chance and so he stays in Italy after Monza for more time at the factory, more adjustments, and more time on the sim.
It’s not that he’s forgotten about her, he doesn’t think he’ll ever be able to, it’s just- It’s been too long for a casual text or call and so he’s starting to make a bigger deal out of it than it probably is and still doesn’t call.
***
The championship is decided in Japan, with a penalty that drops him from second to third place after the race. Somehow it doesn’t surprise him that this is how he finds out he’s not going to be world champion this year. It seems- Fitting.
That night, when he’s alone in his hotel room somewhere in Suzuka, is the first time he actually pulls up her contact and lets his thumb hover over the call button. It’s been eight weeks since the fundraiser - he knows because of course he’s kept track - and he doubts she even remembers him. Doubts she even still has the jacket. And so he locks his phone and once again doesn’t call.
***
He fights for second place the remaining five races of the season, a heated battle with Checo that gets decided in Abu Dhabi during the final race. In his favour this time. And while he much rather would have been crowned world champion, coming second to a superior Max Verstappen and a superior Red Bull is the best he and the team could do this year. Next year. Next year it will be him, he decides.
After Abu Dhabi, after post-season testing, he goes back to Maranello for the team’s detailed debrief of the 2022 season, a week-long affair that has him cooped up in meeting rooms for most of the day. He stays in Italy because a week later he has to be there for the FIA Prize Giving Ceremony in Bologna anyway.
He still doesn’t call.
***
It’s when he’s getting ready for the FIA event, putting on his Ferrari-issued suit, that Lorenzo asks, “Did you ever get your jacket back? The one you lent to that girl?”
Charles shakes his head, “No, I-”
Lorenzo lets out a frustrated sigh in a way only a brother can, “You didn’t call her?”
“No,” Charles says as he buttons up his shirt. “I did not.”
Lorenzo mutters something under his breath that Charles just knows in an insult and so he doesn’t bother with a reply. His older brother doesn’t relent that easily though, “You are an idiot, you know that? I thought you really liked her?”
“I did,” Charles agrees easily enough. Corrects himself then, “I do. I think. But-” he shrugs, “-it’s almost been four months, I doubt-” He ducks just in time to not get hit in the head by his phone that Lorenzo hurls at him from across the room, sending up a silent thank you to Andrea for all those reflex exercises he always insists on doing, even during off-season. He throws his brother a look, “What did you do that for? You could have-”
“Call her,” Lorenzo says, pointing at the phone that bounced off the wall and landed on the floor with a miraculously intact screen. “I don’t need you moping around, thinking about what could have been, over the winter break, Charlie. Just call her, take her on a date, and hey-” he shrugs with a sly smile, “-if you do get your jacket back well then that’s a win-win, non?”
He doesn’t call right away but promises himself he will. Later.
***
“The jacket you are trying to reach is no longer available. Please try again later.”
He can’t help but laugh and looks up at the house he’s standing in front of as he runs a hand through his hair, letting it rest at the base of his neck because all of a sudden he’s nervous. He tries to hide it with a confident, “Salut ma chérie, I’m sorry for not calling any sooner but-”
“Don’t try to sweet talk your way back into our lives, Leclerc-”
“Our?” Shit. The possibility that she might have a boyfriend never even crossed his mind. He quietly curses himself, it’s been four months, of course she didn’t sit around and wait for him to maybe call her. Stupid. Stupid, stupid-
“The jacket’s and mine,” her voice interrupts his thoughts. “We are doing quite well for ourselves.”
“Hmm,” he hums, his smile returning. He takes a step closer to the front door, “Is that so?”
“Yeah.”
“I’d like to come see that for myself,” he says, his finger already hovering over the doorbell.
“Hmmm,” she draws out. “We might be able to arrange a supervised visit. When would you-”
He pushes down on the button and chuckles, “Now?”
“Now,” she echoes, a hint of disbelief in her voice. “Yeah- Ok. Sure. Let me just-”
The light inside the hall comes on not much later and he sees a silhouette walking towards the door. Charles takes a step back and hides the flowers he’s got her behind his back. When the door opens, the light from inside framing her face like a halo, he knows he’s done for and vows right then and there to call her every day if she’ll let him. “Hi.”
“Hi,” she says, a little uncertain, and gestures at her jeans and hoodie, “I’m sorry, I wasn’t expecting anyone-”
“You look beautiful,” he assures her and means it. She could be wearing a garbage bag and he’d still think she’d be able to take his breath away. He holds the flowers out to her, “For not calling sooner.”
She smiles as she takes the flowers from him, “That’s very kind, thank you.”
He doesn’t really know where to go from here, doesn’t really know how to explain why he didn’t call, and he almost feels as helpless as he felt when he accidentally spilled his drink on her.
Just like that night, she takes charges and steps aside, “Come on. I’m sure your jacket will be delighted to see you.”
***
She’s offered him a drink and this time he accepts and so he finds himself sitting at her kitchen table not much later, his jacket hanging from her chair and if a garment could, he’s sure it would mock him. There’s a cup of coffee in front of him and he watches her as she makes one for herself too. When she sits down across from him he makes himself look at her when he says, “I really am sorry for not calling sooner. I didn’t mean to- What is it? Ghost you?”
“Well, you did, Charles. Disappeared like a ship in the night,” she mimics the movement with her hand but there’s a smile on her lips that he hopes means he still has a chance.
He hangs his head, guilt washing over him, “I know. The second half of the season was so crazy and I know that’s no excuse-”
“Just don’t do it again.”
It takes him a second to register her words and so he sits there with his mouth open, gaping like a fish, until he can feel himself start to smile, his hope renewed when he sees the way she’s looking at him, like she’s challenging him to not recognize this second chance that for some reason, only known to her, she has granted him. He shakes his head, “Never.”
***
At some point they move from the kitchen to the living room, her with her knees folded up under her in one corner of the couch and him angled towards her in the other. He’s told her about the last few months, the pressure he felt, not only from the team and the fans but also from himself. How it was a fight until the very end, not just on track but off track as well, with endless hours spent in the factory and on the sim.
Some of the questions she asks in between his stories tell him that she’s actually watched the races and it makes him feel both incredibly happy that she cared enough to do so and even more like an idiot for not calling her sooner.
When he tells her so she agrees with a kindhearted smile.
***
It’s only after she’s stifled a yawn during a lull in their conversation that he risks a glance at his watch and sees that it’s already past midnight. He smiles at her, “It’s late, I should probably let you get some sleep, no?”
She shrugs apologetically, “It’s been a long day-”
“Don’t worry about it,” he tells her as he pushes himself up from the couch and waits for her to do the same before he walks to the front door where he turns around and finds her standing there with a hesitant smile that makes him want to kiss her.
And so he does.
Taking a step closer, he licks his lips and lets his eyes fall from to her mouth in a silent question. When she tilts her head back and looks up at him he leans in and lets his lips brush against hers before he captures her mouth with his and deepens the kiss.
She puts one hand against his chest and pulls him closer with the other, which has found its way to the back of his neck.
His hands are on her hips, gently pushing her up against the wall as he lets his tongue run over her lower lip. When she opens her mouth he sighs against it, enjoying the way she tastes- Something sweet, like an apple maybe, and then he slips his tongue inside and she moans and he knows that if he doesn’t stop now he’ll regret it forever. He pulls back and lets his forehead rest against hers, breathing heavily.
“Don’t stop,” she whispers, hands gripping the fabric of his sweater in an attempt to bring him back.
He shakes his head, “I want to do this right, ma belle.”
“It’s not actually like you’re doing it wrong now,” she counters, sounding as out of breath as he feels.
He chuckles and pulls back a little further so he can look at her, “Go on a date with me.”
Her eyes widen before she narrows then, a mischievous smile on her lips, “Why don’t you call me first and we’ll take it from there.”
He can’t help the laugh that escapes him because that seems entirely fair, “I will.”
“Good-”
“Good,” he echoes before he presses a more chaste kiss to her lips. “And I won’t wait four months this time.”
“Don’t you dare,” she says and pushes him back and towards the door. A little quieter then, “Don’t you dare.”
He gives her another quick kiss once he’s opened the door, “I’ll see you soon.” When she nods he steps outside, the feeling of hope renewed blooming in his chest. He’s almost at his car when he looks back, a little surprised then because while the front door is still open she’s gone and so he turns around, ready to head back inside to see what’s going on.
“Hey, Leclerc,” she says then as she steps into the hall again, walking towards him with his jacket dangling on one of her fingers. “Aren’t you forgetting something?”
He shakes his head and smiles widely at her, “Keep it. I can come pick it up later.”

Continue the legacy Pt 1
Leclerc son x Verstappen daughter
masterlist
WC: 1,5 K
A/N: First Chapter. I promise that it gets better with time as we still have to come to the better part. This is some background information. Please let me know what you think. <3
2028
As Max crosses the finish line in first place, a wave of euphoria washes over the entire Red Bull garage. The sound of cheers and applause echoes through the pit lane, with crew members rushing to congratulate the newly crowned five-time world champion. GP's voice comes through Max's earphones, "Max Verstappen, you are a five-time world champion! What a phenomenal achievement!"
As Max drives around the track, he takes a moment to soak in the adoration of his team and the crowd. He looks around at the sea of faces, taking in the sheer joy and elation that are palpable in the air. "Thank you all for this great season," he says, his voice filled with gratitude. "The car was incredible, and each and every one of you has worked tirelessly to get us to this point. I'm so grateful to have had such an amazing team behind me."
As he continues to speak, his emotions become more raw and heartfelt. "Since the start of this season, I've felt like I've been on top of the world. The team has been so supportive and kind to me, and it means the world to me. This is an incredible way to end my career, and I'm so grateful to have been able to share it with all of you." The team erupts in applause once again.
Max parks his car at Parc ferme behind the number 1 board. Next to him were Charles Leclerc and Lando Norris, the two of his friends and newly world champions themselves. Standing on top of his car with five fingers in the air before running towards his team and launching himself on them. His mechanics ruffle his hair and give him pats on his back.
Later on the podium, he stands on the top step, his face looking into the crowd. He sees his wife and daughters smiling up at him with proud faces. Well, Sofie wasn't really showing emotion because she was only a couple of months old, but Penelope was clapping with joy. For the last time, the Dutch anthem would be played for him.
As the Austrian anthem ended and the trophies were given to the three drives, champagne was flying around the place. Lando and Charles have made it their mission to shower the Dutch in the sticky liquid and celebrate his last podium.
"Congratulations, mate." Charles pats his friend on the back before setting his champagne bottle down.
"We are grateful that you let us win these last three years." Lando adds.
"No problem. Sharing is caring." Max jokes and the other two drivers laugh in response.
As they settle in for the post-race interview, the three drivers are seated comfortably in front of a backdrop of gleaming trophies and team logos. Max sits in the middle, flanked by Charles to his left and Lando to his right.
"Max, congrats on your fifth world champion and probably your last one as you retire from racing. Can I ask what your reason for your decision was?"
"Firstly, thank you for your congrats. My decision to retire came from myself. At the beginning of this year, my daughter was born and I love to be able to spend time with her and the rest of my family. With racing, you are always all over the world and training and I don't think I can live with the fact that I am not home enough." The other people in the room listen intently, their faces sympathetic. On the sidelines, Max's family had been watching the interview, but his youngest daughter, who had been quietly observing from her mother's lap, suddenly began to cry. Her mother quickly whisked her away to a private area, trying to comfort the distressed child.
"Charles, you're a father too, do you have any plans on retiring soon?" the interviewer asks, turning to the Ferrari driver.
Charles picks up his microphone and thinks a bit before speaking. "At this moment not. Of course, I have some years of racing behind me, so time will tell when I quit. Jules is a year and a half right now and I try to be there as much as I can." The man on the other side nods and thanks them both for their answers.
"I don't really have plans on retiring. Thank you for asking," Lando jokes in a lighthearted tone, trying to lighten the mood. "Just being an uncle for now," Charles adds with a chuckle. Max laughs along with him, grateful for the distraction from his own emotional revelation.
Another person stands up to ask a question. "Max, is there already a person who is going to take your seat?"
"I don't think that is my place to tell. Just wait for the announcement." He sounds a bit annoyed at the end of his answer and the person just nods and doesn't ask any further.
"Lando, you were champions last year, do you think you will be again with Max leaving?"
"Max is a great driver, it is no surprise he wins."
"I think that is a negative way to ask this question."
The interview went on some more, asking about the race and plans for the summer break. Max felt a bit sad knowing that this was his last time. but thoughts about his family made him know that it was the right decision.
"As the last question, Would you support it if your child chose to be a racing driver?" The three friends look between them to pick out who would answer first and Max just nods.
"Of course. If Penelope or Sofie want to start racing, I can help them both. I take P karting sometimes with her father and she always likes it. I don't know if she wants to do it professionally, and time will tell for Sofie."
After Max puts his mic down, Lando starts. "I don't have a child now, but of course I will. Dreams are made to come true, and I support them in all of their decisions. If it is racing or not."
"As Lando said, dreams are made to be true. If Jules wants to do karting, I take him karting." They wrap up the interview and leave the room.

Later, when Max is back home in Monaco, he enters the apartment with Sofie in his arm. "Home sweet home." He places a kiss on her forehead and puts her in the crib next to the couch.
"Can we have pizza for dinner?' Penelope asks as she goes to sit on the couch. Max looks at his wife for approval and she smiles and responds.
"Of course we can. What kind do you want?" Just when P wants to answer, her sister starts to cry and move around in her crib.
Later, when Max is back home in Monaco, he enters the apartment with Sofie in his arm, relieved to be back after the busy season. The familiar sight of their living room brings a sense of comfort as he softly whispers, "Home sweet home," planting a loving kiss on Sofie's forehead before carefully laying her down in the crib next to the couch.
Penelope eagerly plops down on the couch and asks, "Can we have pizza for dinner?" Max glances at his wife, a grin tugging at his lips, seeking her approval. Kelly replies, "Of course we can. What kind do you want?" Penelope's eyes light up with excitement as she begins to rattle off her favorite toppings.
However, the rattle is interrupted by the little girl, who starts to cry and wriggle in her crib. Max and Kelly exchange a knowing glance, immediately springing into action to tend to their baby girl's needs. Max gently scoops her up, cradling her in his arms as he softly hums a soothing tune while Kelly prepares a bottle. The apartment is filled with the soft murmur of comforting words and the gentle rustle of a diaper change.
As the night progresses, the family gathers around the dining table, with different kinds of pizza laid out before them. Sofie, now content and snug in her high chair, beams up at her family, her innocent giggles adding to the joyous ambiance.
"My mom wants to know if we are coming for Christmas." Max points out between his bites.
"I want to see Luka and Lio," P says.
"We can spend Christmas in the Netherlands and the New Year with my family." Kelly says. Max nods and lets his mother know that they will be there.
After dinner, Penelope starts to get ready for bed after an exhausting day. Max and Kelly take a seat on their couch, ready to watch a movie, before heading off to bed. Sofie had been put in the crib in the master bedroom to not get interrupted from her sleep. The two cats jump on top of the couch and nestle against their dad as he gives them pats over their heads. The night went on and the couple drifted of to sleep on the couch
In the apartment not far from theirs, Charles enters his own. His wife quickly walks up and kisses him, their dog follows behind her. "Bonsoir, chérie. " Charles kisses the top of Alex head and kneels down to pet Leo.
"Jules is sleeping, I was just waiting for you." He smiles and walks over to the baby room. Jules was sleeping in a little Ferrari sleeping suit. Charles walks over and presses a soft kiss on his head, careful not to wake him up.
"Lets get to bed."

Toto Wolff / George Russell
Title: The more you say, the less I know
Pairing: Toto Wolff / George Russell
Characters: Toto Wolff, George Russell, Max Verstappen, Charles Leclerc
Prompt: Can we pretend that George being sick in Abu Dhabi was actually the start of his heat but he's the only omega in the paddock and when Toto smells him he begs George to let him HELP. Thank yu
George feels like death once he finally steps out of the car, he honestly doesn't know how he survived this race without a crash and somehow managed to secure a podium.
His heat has been threatening him the whole weekend, he had tried everything to stop it coming but nothing has worked and it looks like it's finally here. Maybe it wouldn't have mattered as much if he wasn't the only omega on the grid.
Oh and the fact he's been lying about being a Beta.
He quickly swallows the scent blockers Aleix has given him and makes his way to the cool down room. He just wants to get those over with then he can go back to his room and spend his heat with his toys.
George sits as far away from Charles and Max as possible, he probably would have on a normal day considering the way those two give each other bedroom eyes, although it had always surprised him that Charles and Max are together and not Pierre and Charles. George coughs as he sits down, both drivers give him a strange look .
"What?" George coughs again as he sits down. Max is smirking at him while Charles looks absolutely disgusted in him. "Did you fuck someone?" George chokes on his water. "What?"
"You smell like a bitch in heat." Max laughs, while Charles narrows his eyes. "Yes, it's affecting me as a Beta." George's heart pounds out of his chest. "How can they still smell him?"
"You're a Beta too, right?"
Charles knows?
Charles Knows!
"Yeah." George chokes out with another cough, a whole wave of slick leaks out of him, it's a good thing he's in his race suit, because he feels like he's pissed himself through his fire proofs.
Who was he kidding with scent blockers? He's way too far gone for that.
The podium celebrations happen without any further incident, he manages to stay a safe distance away from Charles and Max and his scent is covered by the smell of champagne.
The problems start once he finally gets back into his garage. Toto comes over to congratulate him on securing second in the constructors championship. George knows he can smell his sweet omega scent, when his team principal's eyes dilate until they become fully black. "George." Toto growls, gripping George's forearm. George roughly pulls away and makes a run for it before he becomes too far gone and begs Toto to take him right here in the garage. Denying his body what it really wants.
George whines as he enters the safety of the toilet cubicle, he slides his back against the door and pulls his knees up to his chest. He's sticky with heat and the ungodly amount of slick he's produced. He doesn't know what to do, he's stuck here now probably for the rest of his life, he can't face Toto. Not now he knows.
He doesn't know what to do, so George does what he does best and allows himself to cry. He feels beyond ill, all he wants is a massive alpha cock in his arse. He loses track of time somewhere between crying and flooding the place with his slick, when he hears an aggressive bang on the door. Fuck. sweat pools off him, he could do with a bang himself, a hard one with his back preferably pressed against a soft mattress.
it's only when someone knocks again, he comes back to himself. "Who is it?" He manages to croak out. "George, it's me Toto. Are you okay?" George purrs it's unbearable having an alpha so close to him. He can smell Toto's strong alpha scent through the door and George has to do everything in his power to stop himself from begging Toto to wreck him.
"I'm perfectly fine Toto." George surprises himself with how calm and collected he sounds, maybe Toto will just get the hint and go away. "George, I can smell it you know." That's it then, his life as he knows it is over. "Right, yes. I'm sorry Toto. If you want to just step away, i'll pack my stuff and leave."
"Don't be silly George, who cares that you're an omega? George is convinced he's delirious at this point and palms his hard cock through his race suit. "George lets me in please." Toto sounds calm, collected and not angry at all. He sounds sexy, how has George never noticed before? George forces his own palm off his cock.
"George, I can smell you. Please, just open the door, I can help you out." The words translate in George's brain to please George let me fuck you. He shakes his head, trying to clear his mind. This can't be happening.
"Open the door George." Toto is quiet for a moment, a whole minute passes before he speaks again. "Open the door George, that's an order." The omega inside of him is screaming at him to obey an alpha's order. George would love nothing more than Toto's knot but there are mechanics out there? What if someone sees and tells the press that George is a horny omega who couldn't keep his hands off his team principal in public. No, he can't.
"I don't want to, go away." George lies, he can't take it anymore and pushes his race suit off his hips and wraps his hand around his cock still covered by his fire proofs. "I know you want me to help you George, don't lie to me."
"You being an omega won't affect your seat, I promise." George's hands shake as he scrambles to unlock the door. He's barely aware he's done it but Toto doesn't hesitate for a second, pulling him off his knees and presses himself up against George's sweaty back. "You smell so good baby."
"Do you want me to help you with your heat, sweet little omega?" Toto's hands are all over his body, he roughly spins him around and picks him up. George doesn't hesitate for a second and wraps his long legs around Toto's body. "You're so wet baby." Toto growls into his ear, palming the wet patch on George's fire proofs. "Please Toto."
George has completely lost it now, his omega instincts have fully taken over. Toto squeezes his ass and massages the round globes, not hesitating for a second despite the amount of wetness George is leaking. George is shameless and pushes back into Toto's hand, silently begging for anything. The movement pushes Toto's hard cock into George's. It's pain and pleasure all at the same time, he can feel Toto's massive cock against his but there is far too much fabric between them.
"Patience baby, you'll soon get what you want." George is only half aware that he's pulling Toto's clothes off, pulling at the hem of his shirt and pulling down the fly on his pants. Toto momentarily steps back and calmly removes each of the offending garments, leaving George to go insane watching him.
"Want you." George mumbles, mouth watering as he sees Toto's beautiful cock, it's so big and he wants to take it into his mouth, so badly. He wants to choke on it and be suffocated by the smell of Toto. "let me help you George, this isn't about me."
Toto pushes George forward and bends him over the sink, George catches a glance at himself in the mirror, he's a mess, his hair is plastered to his forehead, his cheeks are burning red and his eyes are glazed over completely with lust. Toto is finally freeing him from his sticky fire proofs and purrs approvingly at George's body.
"You're so wet George." Toto groans into his ear as he pushes two fingers into George, he scissors them apart as George arches up, getting as much as he can from those long fingers. "Don't think i've ever had a bitch this wet." George moans even louder as a third finger is pushed inside and roughly slammed in and out of him.
"I don't have to fuck you, not if you don't want it George." The softness of it fucks with George's head. "I can just finger you or help you out in another way." George melts against Toto's body. "Please Alpha, I want your knot, please."
George has no shame and bends himself further over the sink and grinds his wet ass into Toto's cock. "Fuck, George." Toto grips his narrow hips tightly and it sends shock waves down Georges body. "Toto, fuck me please."
"Who would I be to deny a begging omega." Toto presses himself against George's cock and slowly starts to sink his cock inside. Toto's head rests on George's shoulder and he so badly wants Toto to bite him, claim him, ruin him. Toto starts thrusting instantly slamming into George, every thrust sends a tidal wave of slick down George's thighs.
It's not even nearly enough, George is begging for more, it feels like Toto is almost holding back. "Give me more, please." Toto gives a little sigh. "Whatever my little omega wants." Maybe George should be worried, they are not using a condom and George isn't on any birth control but he's not worried, he wants Toto to fuck him full of his pups.
Toto is holding him holding him like he's precious and might shatter in his arms, George on the other hand is pushing his hips back and getting everything he needs. He moans loudly, so damn turned on as Toto slides his hips back and slams back into him, The pace is rhythmic and fast and delicious. "You're so good like this George." George grunts as he's filled with an extra hard thrust. "Such a cute little omega, begging for your alpha's cock like that.
Toto holds George's hips in an iron grip, to stop him bumping himself into the sink and hurting himself. The omega inside George giggles foolishly at the protection from his alpha while Toto slides their bodies together perfectly, both moaning loudly in sync with each other.
"I've always know George, that you were a little omega." Toto growls into his ear, speeding up his thrusts until the sound of skin slapping against echo's around the bathroom. "As soon as you presented me with that little power point with your sweet smell and your eagerness to impress." George cries out, as Toto hits him dead on in his prostate. "And you are aren't you George? Always so submissive and responds well to praise."
"Please, I need..." George doesn't really know what he's asking for Toto seems to understand, as he angles his thrusts and slams into George's prostate with every thrust, causing the omega to cry out in pure pleasure with every thrust into his body. George comes hard, untouched the cum exploding over his already wet through body but it's not nearly enough. He whines and squirms in Toto's grip.
"What is it baby, do you need your alpha's not?" George is far too gone for words, he nods eagerly. George doesn't care about anything other than Toto's knot right now, he will happily carry Toto's pups, hopefully strong alpha's just like daddy.
Toto thrusts into him with all his might, squeezing impossibly harder on his already bruised his hips, while his other hand pushes George's beck, down bending him open even more. George groans feeling himself open up, ready for the knot he's about to receive.
George splutters and chokes on his moans when he finally feels Toto's knot sink inside of his whole and starts swelling larger and larger. George's thoughts dominated by being a good wife and good mommy and that's even before Toto has started to spill inside of him.
When Toto's knot finally pops and fills him with that hot fertile alpha seed, he can't hold back his second orgasm and comes completely untouched.
Toto pulls out of him and sinks down to the floor with George, just holding him. George has come back to senses, at least before the next wave starts and he's so fucking embarrassed with himself, begging for knots and pups. What was he thinking?
"What are you going to do about the next wave?" Toto his helping him onto his feet. "I don't know, i've got toys and stuff back in my room." Just gives a little shrug. "Why... Why don't I help you with your heat? We've done it once what difference does a few more rounds make?" And then Toto adds as an afterthought. "We'll get you the morning after pill as well."
George is apparently more gone than he originally thought because he purrs and agrees to let Toto come back with him.

How we got into inchident p.6
pairing: charles leclerc x female reader warnings: smut, loving sex, angst, fluff words: 3.3K summary: You attend this gala event, Daniel is making you feel uncomfortable again and Charles is nowhere to be found. Thanks to this, he experiences what is like to make love to you ______________________________________________________________
We got into his car. I acknowledged myself how slightly nervous I am. Because I am basically arriving at this gala meet as his...company. Right. Because we are like not together. Even though he marked me from the very first beginning but still. As I was waiting till Charles open my door, I just remembered who the fuck I am and got my confidence back. I don't have to be afraid of anything. Because I am always protected. No matter what. Charles opened the door, I smiled and got out. So many flashlights and camera pointing at us. I covered my eyes with my hand. ''Take my sunglasses love'' He handed me them and I put them on. I could finally see where I was going. Charles was leading but I don't even know how he could manage with so many flashlights. When we got inside, there were plenty of people. Charles held me by my waist. He loved your waist. Anyway, we were passing some people and got to Ferrari team. We greeted each other and they weren't even surprised that they saw us together. I guess it was obvious. Hard to tell. We spoke for a little and then Charles told me he must greet some great people in here but doesn't want me to come. It won't be fun he said. I just nodded and went to grab a glass of champagne.
''Well, Y/N.'' I've heard behind me. I turned around and saw Daniel. ''Oh, hi Daniel.'' He got surprised. ''Not a Danny anymore?'' he smiled mischievously. I just smiled shyly. ''You look gorgeous.'' ''Yeah, thanks.'' I told him while looking around. I really didn't want to talk to him. At all. ''What do you have here?'' he said teasingly. I turned my head and looked at him. He already had his fingers around my necklace from Charles. ''Wow, he is marking his territory. Like his little slut.'' *Gulp* And that is when I got frustrated. And mad at him. For saying such words to a lady. I grabbed his hand and tried to push it away from me. But he held his position while looking at me. His eyes full of lust and desire. ''For fuck's sake back off Daniel!'' I said with a higher voice. ''HEY!'' I got startled and Daniel as well. He lost his grip so I had the chance to take his hands off of me. My savior was Max as I discovered. ''Is there some problem or what?'' he told with this face of his which basically means don't try me. Daniel just chuckled, looked at me with this signal that this was not over. And walked away. Then Max stood in front of me, approaching me from the side where he was initially. ''Hey, you alright?'' he asked. ''Yeah, I guess so........... But clearly this is not fine! He just cannot back off. I've told him. I tried to push him, but it didn't work.'' ''I know.'' ''I'm just frustrated. And scared.'' He was looking at me. I said shyly afterwards. ''Sorry. Too much talking haha.'' ''No, not at all. It's just you should talk to Charles about it.'' ''Yeah. I know. And you are right.'' He just nodded and was heading back from where he came. ''Max?'' He turned his head. ''Yeah?'' ''Thank you.'' ''It's nothing.'' ''No, it's not. It could have ended differently. But you were a good man and I thank you for that.'' He nodded again and left. And I was left alone once again. Slightly scared that whenever I go, I will be alone and Daniel's going to wait for me. I don't even know what was happening. I've thought of getting out of this place. Going somewhere where it is quiet. I just wanted to enjoy some time alone. Without all of these extranjeros *people I don’t know*. So I sneaked out through the back door. I didn't want to be seen leaving gala without Charles. Probably just another unnecessary drama. And I have enough of it because of Daniel.
These people. I'd rather much be with ma cherie. I looked around from the balcony but couldn't see her down there. ''Excuse me, gentlemen.'' I went down to check upon my cherie. When I was walking down the stairs I got approached. ''So. You marked your new territory hm?'' Daniel spoke to me. This one I don't have energy for. I just hissed at him. Walked around him and searched for Y/N. I couldn't find her, so I thought of toilets. I went up to look and carefully ask if she is not inside. But nothing. Now I got uncomfortable. Where is she?? I went down again, desperate to find her there. I saw Max how he is looking at me, I approached him. ''Hey, mate. Do you know where Y/N is?'' ''No, I actually don't know. But I wouldn't be surprised if she had just left.'' I got confused a little bit. ''Why would she do that?'' ''Because Daniel was kind of harassing her and you were nowhere so. Probably left.'' '' WHAT DO you MEAN that Daniel was harassing her??'' ''Well, I didn't see much. But I saw her how defensive she was, so I went towards them and heard her say back off Daniel, but he was clearly not listening. I had to intervene. Because he was holding her necklace and didn't want to stop. She was there totally alone, mate.'' Now I get his comment on the stairs. This little fucker. Fuck. I messed up big this time. I am stupid. I got frustrated. ''I would search for her. And Daniel- just deal with him later, ok? She has told me that she is scared.'' I titled my head and pat him on the arm. ''Thank you.'' He just nodded and I went to search for her. In this unknown city. I tried to call her, but nothing. Texts, nothing as well.
I had my eyes closed when enjoying the peace around me. I felt so much better now. I got shivers down my spine from the cold, so I decided to go back home. Charles won't probably be there yet so I still will have time for me myself and I. When I arrived to the hotel and opened the door, there was already light inside. I saw Charles sitting on the bed. Looking frustrated. When he acknowledged me, he immediately got up and went towards me. I closed the door and was confused about this. He hugged me. I hugged him back but not with such a strength. ''Hey, what's wrong? Are you alright?'' I asked. ''ME?'' he snapped. ''Are you kidding? Of course, I'm not alright. I left you at the fucking gala meet alone with fucking Daniel to whom I couldn't even protect you from because I was elsewhere, and Max had to do the job for me! And when I know all of this, I couldn't find you on top of that! You don't answer my calls or texts. Jesus Y/N, what do you have phone for?!'' he yelled.
I frowned. Frustrated a little bit about it. ''Charles I was scared. I am scared to be left alone anywhere near Daniel. He grabbed my necklace and just held it for too long. I tried to push him off, but he resisted. I literally had no chance.'' Charles cupped my face and rested his forehead on mine. ''Mon amour, I am sorry. So so sorry. It won't happen again. I'm won’t leave you next time.'' I just listened. Not saying anything. ''Charles, I'm very scared.'' ''I know. I know. I will deal with him later. Now you are important. And I need you to feel safe now with me.'' We stayed quiet for some time. I was lost in my thoughts. ''He told me I'm like your little slut.'' Charles pulled himself back a little bit so he could stare into my eyes. His hands still cupping my face. I looked down. He didn't tell anything. Instead, he started to kiss my jaw. Very gently. Touching me like I am some fragile vessel. All of a sudden, he grabbed me under my knees and lifted me up. I squeaked a little bit. Smiled. He let me fall back on the bed. ''Can I take this off?'' he was asking about my dress. I just nodded. And laid my head down.
I wanted to make her feel safe with me. But when I've heard those words from her I had to show her that she is certainly not a slut to me. She is a woman I adore and love so much. And I needed to show her. I chose to be gentle and loving right now this night. I put her down on the bed. Got rid of her dress and kissed her all over body. Sweetly, innocently. Just very much gently. When I got between her thighs I stopped. Waiting, asking for a permission. She hummed and moved with her hips towards me. So I took it as a yes. I inhaled her scent, driving me crazy immediately. She tastes like heaven. Sweet heaven. I could do this my whole life. I rubbed my cheeks against her folds and felt how she is shaking under me. I was so lost in heaven I didn’t recognize she is whining and wanting more. I went back on her and sucked on her clit. Bringing her to her peak soon. I pushed two fingers inside of her tight pussy and stretched her out. She cried out my name. Like she always does. I looked up and saw this beauty melting under my touch. Feeling that she is feeling great right now. Worshipped. I sucked harder, pushed harder and that is when she came. I helped her coming through her high with still licking her and fucking her with my fingers and when her breath slowed down I did as well. Resting for some time between her legs. She suddenly went for a sitting position. I got up looking at her what is she doing now. She went for my trousers. I titled my head. ''No mon amour. Not tonight. I need you to know that you are much more than sex to me. And I don't want you to give me anything tonight. Just receive. Be a good girl and receive. Feel how I'm taking care of you. Making you feel good without expecting anything back.'' she stared at me for some time. With this expression like she didn't want it that way. I supposed. But then she just nodded. She laid down, me as well right next to her. I held her in my arms. ''How are you feeling now?'' ''Better, Charles. But I just wanted to have a sex with you. Feel connected to you. You know? Sex is so much more than penetration Charles.'' I've thought about it for some time. Perhaps I could try and make love to her. But it is so hard not to fuck her hard when she is driving me crazy. I’m like a mad man when it comes to have a sex with her. I’m certainly not gentle or loving. But I care about her too much, I wanted to please my woman. ''And you still want to?'' ''Yeah.'' She said quietly. I rushed and got on top of her. Positioning myself between her. She moaned a little bit just by the sight and I started to lose it. ''Fuck.'' My head immediately falling down, I inhaled sharply to calm myself down. She pulled herself up, on her elbows. Her tits jiggling from side to side. I couldn't take my eyes off it. ''Charles, what's wrong?'' I inhaled sharply again. ''Y/N, I can't.'' ''What do you mean you can't?'' ''I-wanted-'' I looked into her eyes now. ''I wanted to make love to you. But when I saw you under me, I see those perfect tits of yours, I just immediately want to fuck you so hard so you will scream my name. In pain, in pleasure. And I don't want this. Not tonight. When I need to make you feel safe and protected.'' There was some quiet time for a bit. ''I understand. But if you won't try you will never know If you are capable of it.'' I looked into her eyes once again. ''I can try. But-'' ''No but Charles. I have faith in you.'' I just nodded slightly. I looked down, on my dick slowly disappearing into her. So tight, so wet. I almost lost it again.
Charles groaned so hard when he got inside. I moaned just from this scene. After few slow and gentle thrusts, he snapped and punched the headboard with his fist. Startling me. Charles stopped moving, completely. ''I'm sorry. I have to fight it so much.'' ''Charles, pleeeease. I'm desperate for you. Move or I will.'' He groaned again and started moving. In and out. With so much tension within him. ''Charles, you cannot continue like this. Look into my eyes.'' And he did. ''And stay like this. Keep looking into my eyes. And move slowly.'' He quickly nodded and his tension leaving his body started to slowly fade away. It started to feel very amazing that I let myself close my eyes from time to time. Moaning hard for him. This sex was so deep, so intimate. Just letting myself feel every slight slow motions inside of me. Massaging me from the inside. When I looked at him, I saw how surprised, thrilled he was seeing me like this. So loved, so taken care of. He liked it so much. All he concentrated on was how is it making me feel. He kissed me. Connecting us even further. I felt my orgasm approaching and let myself let that happen. It was a slow, deep orgasm. I gasped for air. He moaned with me. Like he was just coming from seeing and hearing me coming. When I reached my downfall, I started to cry. ''Cherie! What's wrong?'' he asked frightened and stopped moving. ''Nothing is wrong. It's perfect. -''.........''-Charles, you don't even know how connected I feel to you right now. It was too much for me to bear. It was so deep, so intimate. I just cry when I have an orgasm like that under such intimate conditions Charles.'' He listened to me carefully. After a little bit of time, he kissed away my tears and smiled to himself. ''Then it's good. Because that was exactly how I wanted it.'' I kissed him back. Tears no longer falling down my cheeks. We shared a very deep and passionate kiss. He started to push inside of me again and I've told him to let loose. He looked at me carefully and I nodded as a permission for him to fuck me hard. He grabbed me by my wrists, putting them above my head and the other hand holding my waist. It was fast and rough. I let out hard, loud moans and he kept pushing so I started losing it and cried his name. ''Charles!'' he stopped immediately. ''What Y/N. Did I hurt you?'' he caressed my cheek and looked into my eyes again. ''No! You did not. I was just screaming your name. That's all.'' I said to him. Closing my eyes and resting my now free hands on my forehead. Feeling tired from how uncertain he felt with me. With himself ''Mon amour, I'm sorry. I'm just so frustrated today. I'm mad at myself that I left you there alone unprotected.'' ''I wasn't unprotected. Max was there.'' ''Yeah, but It should have been me.'' Which is something I agreed with but didn't say anything. ''I think we should just cuddle and sleep. Maybe talk. I'd like that.'' Charles just nodded and let himself out. Laid next to me. ''You know, I'm going to take a shower.'' ''Alright, can I come with you?'' ''I need some space to collect my thoughts Charles.'' He looked down. ''You know, I'd just look at you and start kissing you for sure haha. So I couldn't concentrate on my thoughts you know?'' he lifted his head and smiled big. He quickly nodded with his dimples visible and chuckled slightly. I got up and went for the shower. Thinking about everything what happened today.
Mon amour went for a shower, and I thought to myself how an amazing sex we've had. I've never experienced that; it was so different. So different. I guess this is what making love is. I felt something building inside of me. Something new. I'm growing to her. I had this feeling for the first time I saw her that she is the one, but the feelings I have now, they are little scary, because they are so unfamiliar to me. Y/N took me of my thoughts when closing the gap between us, walking towards our bed. She grabbed my t-shirt from the chair and put it on her. I titled my head. ''I want to feel your skin when lying next to me.'' I said looking into her eyes. She just smiled. ''Oki, I'm gonna take it off when going to sleep. I just want to tell you something before.'' I just nodded. She hopped on the bed. Legs crossed. She looked so cute like this. She was thinking about something very hard, because she just lost the present time and was in her own world. I watched her with amazement. Then she just laid down next to me. Laying down on my chest. ''You know Charles, I really enjoy the hard rough sex we normally have. And I know that you know that I just feel like to say it out loud to you right now.'' She pushed herself up so now she was approaching my face more closely and looked into my eyes. ''I feel safe with you now. Qui?'' She smiled at me. I smiled back and nodded. I understood what she wanted to say. ''But I have to say mon amour, that this loving sex. It was totally something different for me. It was-'' I looked away to find right words. ''-I guess I could say beautiful. And weird at the same time. It was-actually the feelings that came with it, it felt so unfamiliar to me that I feel a little bit scared of that.'' She looked down and nodded again. Then titled her head up and smiled a little bit. ''I know.'' she smiled again. I felt like I don't have to say much more. That she understands me. She laid down while putting her-actually my t-shirt off of her. I was hypnotized again, seeing her naked next to me. She caught me and started laughing. ''You a bad boy Charles.'' and she showed me her teeth. ''Can I fuck you?'' ''Don't ask me and put your dick inside of me already Charles.'' I immediately got up and positioned myself between her. ''You know what I want to try?'' She just hummed. ''I want to fuck you hard and look into your eyes while doing it.'' She gulped and looked at me with those innocent eyes. God I'm close even now. What this woman has done to me? My God. I then started moving quickly and watched how she opened her mouth, inhaled my scent, and frowned her eyebrows. She looked spectacular like this. Her orgasm face is so hot. So worth to look at. I felt my orgasm approaching but I didn't want to come yet. I saw my number on her bouncing tits and as soon as she was hugging my cock tightly with her walls and approaching orgasm, I lost it and came as well. Kissing her passionately so I could send my moaning into her mouth. For few times I let pass my last thrusts into her and just laid on top of her. She played with my hair. I am feeling so good right now, like a man. A man she needed today. And I promised to myself that I will never ever leave her in such position again.
