- Buggie’s first name has been changed from Charlene to Siobhan (pronounced shiv-awn)

- Speaking of Buggie, her ethnicity has been changed a bit as well. She is now Apache and Irish on her dad’s side but she remains Arawakan Cuban on her mom’s side. When I get around to updating her design (along with the rest of MyBeauty) there may be tweaks to reflect that side of her heritage.

- Cole’s first name is now Niccolò, with Cole being his nickname.

- Instead of appearing in the fame era, I decided Chen will appear in Season 3 (which I am still drafting lol).

- ^ I won’t reveal it yet but if you’re aware of Chen’s role in Buggie’s story then you’ll know that there will be another character introduced in MyBeauty soon.

Charlene Guinard and Marco Fabbri of Italy dominated the competition at the Lombardia Trophy to win the gold by over 38 points. The US went 2-3, with Annabelle Morozov and Jeffrey Chen winning the silver and Leah Neset and Artem Markelov winning the bronze.

El WooWoo Wednesday to you all and thank you @wellbelesbian for the tag! I am still writing the Klaine and Zimbits fics for the summer challenges. I did progress a lot on the Zimbits fic, not so much on the Klaine fic, but you know, all in good time.

Again, the Madison and More fic is an anonymous fest, and I don't think there's anything that I can share that doesn't give it away. BUT I did just a) find a title, thanks to @coffeegleek and b) learn how to say "Fucking assholes!" in Italian thanks to @martsonmars. Yes, the latter was necessary for the fic. Very necessary.

I do still need a title for my Klaine fic, but I first need to actually.... write it. I have some new stuff:

Blaine checks his watch and Kurt sees the realisation sink in. They need to find these animals fast, otherwise they will have to deal with a lot of upset and potentially crying pre-schoolers. “Check every corner, now!” Blaine yells. It doesn’t have to be said twice. Both Kurt and Blaine sprint towards the corners, but to no avail. Kurt’s about to tear his hair out, which is saying something cause usually nothing would allow Kurt to mess up his hair. Then he hears it. “Shhhh!” he shushes Blaine. “What?” “Shhhhhh!” It is dead silent and that’s when Kurt can hear it more clearly. It’s a squeaking noise. It’s the sound of a little hamster.

I have decided that Kurt and Blaine need to find a hamster, two baby rabbits, a mouse, a rat, a baby ferret, a baby meerkat, a guinea pig, a chinchilla and a hedgehog. Don't ask me what kind of school this is and why they have this weird variety of animals. As usual, it is my fic and I get to decide the reality of the situation.

Lastly, speaking of titles, I have settled on a title for my series about Glee and Asian identity. It's "Dancin' on that bamboo ceiling", a lyric from the song Bamboo by KAYE (stage name of Charlene Kaye, for the Starkid fans among us). She wrote it to ask awareness for Asian racism while also showing Asian pride, so it fits. I am still figuring out how to post it, but hey, at least there's a title!

Summary:

Tang Sanzang (Nicholas Tse) and his three disciples Sun Wukong (Bolin Chen), Zhu Wuneng (Kenny Kwan), and Sha Wujing (Steven Cheung) arrive triumphantly to a hero's welcome in Shache city. Tripitaka's most arduous challenge to achieve deification is to come, only he can perform.

During their stay in the city, the three disciples are captured by evil Tree Spirits. Tripitaka borrows the Golden Pole and tries to find a way to save them. He meets a young lizard imp Meiyan (Charlene Choi) who is more than a visual match for Quasimodo: matted bushy hair, and teeth of any dentist's nightmare. Meiyan falls in love with Tripitaka at first sight and devotes herself to trailing him. She even sets a love trap to ensnare him. Tripitaka unwittingly falls into the trap and in the process breaks the Heavenly Code.

The region is one full of monsters, strange beings and creatures of unknown origins and among them are the beautiful Princess XiaoShan (Fan Bing-bing) and her army. On a passing journey to Earth her path crosses Tripitaka's and she vows her aid. Tripitaka decides to leave with the Princess.

Meiyan is heartbroken. She picks a fight with Princess XiaoShan and, although she loses, she finally discovers her own identity as a galactic warrior. She eventually helps the princess in defeating the enemy and rescues Tripitaka and his disciples.

After the battle, Meiyan surrenders to the Temple of Heaven for judgment. Torn between passion and righteousness, Tripitaka rebels against the heavens to rescue the gallows-bound Meiyan. A benevolent Buddha is moved and pardons the two on condition that they embark on a journey to the West to accomplish the Eight-One Tasks to redeem themselves and save the world.
