GENERAL METHOD

100g of 95% alcohol

Steep for 14 days (ideally new moon -> full moon) --- If green color is desired, fresh mint only for first 24hr

Strain and weigh resultant tincture

Add cool syrup to tincture (syrup must be cool to avoid turbidity)

Add syrup + tincture to wine

Bottle and rest for 7 days

Cold crash or filter with paper if necessary

SWEETNESS LEVELS

Extra Dry = 0 - 2.5% sugar by mass

Dry = 2.5 - 4.5% sugar by mass

Off Dry = 4.5 - 7.5% sugar by mass

Semi Sweet = 7.5 - 10% sugar by mass

Sweet = 10 - 12% sugar by mass

REFERENCE SPIRITS

Vergano Chinato 16% — Barbaresco, china, cinnamon, cloves, cardamom, coriander, bay, ginseng, rhubarb

Vergano Americano 16% — Grignolino, wormwood, savoury, orange skin, gentiana root, Italian pantry herbs

Matthiasson Vermouth 17% — White base, blood orange, sour cherries, coriander, cardoons, wormwood, chinchona bark, blessed thistle

I do love all the monthly/seasonal events that happen now. There weren't many going on that I ever went to when I was last on Second Life over 5ish years ago except maybe Collabor88, so being able to explore all these new ones and find new stores has been great. Special shoutout goes to this S-RANK tattoo I picked up from this newest SABBATH. I am absolutely in love with it and went to the store to look at their other tattoos and WOW! I know how hard it is to create intricate tattoo work so this work seriously blows me away. I think my only complaint was how confused I was when unpacking it and I had 94034930 different folders for different parts of the tattoo. But that might just be a me problem, I was half asleep when I was putting together this look, oops!

Cricket World Cup 2023:

The 13th edition of the Men’s Cricket World Cup, the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023, will take place from October 5 to November 19, 2023. It would be India’s first time hosting the whole ICC World Cup. The event was originally scheduled to take place from February 9 to March 26, 2023, however owing to the COVID-19 pandemic, the dates were changed to October and November 2023.

After co-hosting previous tournaments in 1987 (with Pakistan), 1996 (with West Pakistan and Ceylon), and 2011 (with Sri Lanka and Bangladesh), this event may be the first time India has hosted the competition on its alone.
