6. My favorite character

I regret to say that. Vyce is maybe possibly my favorite. Cerya is definitely a close second but there is something wrong with my brain and whenever I see a character make absolutely undeniably horrible decisions many times in a row I get heart eyes. I just think he's neat!!! And his whole terrible relationship with Denam compels me. Whatever those guys have going on is insane and also really funny <3

Honorable mention to all the Phoraena sisters though, I'm really enjoying how often they get to interact + how their stories build on each other. I cannot remember how far I've gotten in posting my little screenshots yet, but I did get to recruit Sherri a while ago and got that scene where Olivya and Denam kinda talk her down. It's really fun to see the four of them comfort/interact with/argue with each other with everything that's going on--I feel like it's uncommon to see sibling dynamics with more than two siblings let alone four, so it's fun to see tactics ogre tackle that

19. Favorite headcanon

Speaking of the phoraena sisters!!!! Ever since I picked up Sherri my brain's been trying to piece together how exactly all of them would interact with each other so now I've got this fun convoluted little web which I'm now going to inflict upon the world.

Mostly my take is that I think Cerya + Cistina have really similar personalities (really opinionated + stubborn) while Sherri + Olivya are really similar in a different way (more laid-back, tend to be more passive-aggressive than outright aggressive), and that Cerya + Sherri / Cistina + Olivya would tend to be a little more fond of each other just because they're closer in age.

I also think if they were going to have a vote of "sister most likely to defect to the Bakram army and try to kidnap our dad" it probably would have been in order: Cistina, Cerya, Sherri, Olivya, so it would have been pretty out there when Sherri was the one to go nuts after their mom died. "Most likely to start her own rebel army" was definitely Cerya though. 100% all of them saw that coming and actively made plans around it

My biggest regret for this tarot set is that I didn't get to fit my two favs Balxephon and Andoras anywhere. Balxephon would have been a sick Hierophant, I just felt Ronwey/Leonar and the role they play especially in regard to the CH1 finale and route split was a more coherent fit. And Andoras would have been great as The Hanged Man but he had no chance in a game where Vyce exists.

Man this battle was rough. Fortunately I still have plenty of potions and other healing items left that should help with this final stretch haha.

As communicated in prior correspondence, the Prince travels with Astraea Wyrmsbane. The Castellan deems this more than adequate to ensure a steady production of Moonwrought Implements for our needs.

The Third Sister and I eagerly await your arrival so that the covenant between our nations can be properly renewed.

I. Um. Was not sure how to write a description for my fantasy lesbian arranged marriage story between a largely disposable and traumatized main cast who are prisoners of their stations within evil families.

But an in-universe message that treats the main cast as fucking bargaining chips in their own story makes me feel a kind of way.

Lil clarifications. Ayre does not have a gender but I built an entire oppressive world where gender is forced upon them.

They are surrounded by girls and monster girls because I am a lesbian.

Every Prince, Seed Prince, and worse masculine title I come up with is for Ayre is meant to hurt.

That said.

Ayre and Cerya spend four whole chapters gently and slowly figuring out whether they are willing to show any intimacy and interest in each other at all.

And then a trans moon elf girl barges into the story with a steel chair to bash Ayre and the readers over where this story is going from here. But all that setup is so Ayre can receive one fucking hug and... genuinely want better for themselves.

This is going to have an absurd amount of smut that goes into varying amounts of detail. Some of it with monsters. Some of it bloody. A lot of it with trans girls in the central polycule.

I am literally just waiting on commissioned art of Cerya and Theriya to slap on the cover before sharing it. I average a 2,000 word chapter a day w/ writing that just constantly delights me.

Played some more Tactics Ogre.

We finally reclassed Denam as a Rune Fencer now that we have access to finisher it seemed less valuable to keep him in the Warrior class. We also recruited 1 Gryphon and 2 Dragons in the Phorompa Wood take advantage of the newly recruited Flying Beastmaster we got also in the Phorompa Wood. We also reclassed Sara as a kunoichi because one battle asked to have a ninja.

And we moved on with the plot a little bit. Things are happening apace! We met Cerya who is very charismatic if slightly worrying, and recruited her sister and her merry band of unique character. Yay, unique characters! Then there was more city massacre and some sister abduction. Hopefully we gonna fix that soon, but we just did the first battle at the city of Almorica to find her again.

We continue to enjoy the writing of the game a lot.

Apakah kalian juga pernah merasakan hal yang sama? Bulu romaku tidak berhenti berdiri karena sangat takjubnya betapa hal itu sangat berhubungan denganku. Seolah-olah aku melihat diriku di sebagian besar bab buku tersebut. Uggh!

Apakah ada rekomendasi buku filosofi yang harus aku baca? aku sangat senang dengan filosofi karena bisa menyelam dalam pikiran seorang penulis tentang hal-hal yang mungkin ringan tapi bermakna sangat dalam.

Oiya, bulan lalu aku ke toko buku untuk melihat buku yang aku incar, Don't believe everything you think. Ternyata masih tidak ada :) tapi aku menemuka buku tentang Socrates dan Plato, hanya saja, aku merasa sangat rasional karena aku harus berhemat hahaha. Allah! aku sangat senang melihat diriku yang mampu menahan kehendak diriku. Mari kita lihat bulan depan, karena dalam bulan ini buku-buku yang sedang kubaca akan segera habis.

Cerya's CH3 feels unusually personal, a nice break out of her dutiful commanding role. I also like her CODA's death quote. Considering she often speaks of the guilt and shame she feels over the Front's destruction and the death of her comrades, it's satisfying to see that she's let go of it and considers she's done enough by the end of the game. It's all I could want for her.
