But when the truth begins to come out, Garak is quite fascinated by just how good a liar Julian actually is.

6) Reader x Asterion - Baldur’s Gate III - The Nautiloid slipped from world to world, dimension to dimension, and universe to universe with all the ease of a cockroach squirming under a door. Until, shortly before the events leading to its crash, it crashed through the realm of the goddess of dreams, accidentally taking the goddess and resetting her to a weakened mortal form.

7) Sam x Gabriel - Supernatural - After Jack resets the world, all seems normal. Dangers are still abound, but not nearly as serious as they once were. A powerful mage trying to find eternal youth has popped up on the Winchester’s radar, but after investigating and finding the perp, Sam is hit with the interrupted magic ritual and is reverted back to who he was in his college days. Unfortunately for him, a certain trickster archangel was also resurrected by Jack. Even more unfortunate, Sam was quite the asshole in college. Just the kind that Gabriel had always taken a particular joy in humbling.

Rodney Allen Rippy (born July 29, 1968) is a former child actor, television personality, marketing director, producer, and politician. He appeared in TV commercials for the fast-food chain Jack in the Box in the early 1970s, as well as in numerous roles in television and movies.

He was seen trying to wrap his mouth around the super-sized Jumbo Jack hamburger. The tagline “It’s too big to eat!” became a catchphrase. Another spot showed him giggling while singing the song “Take Life a Little Easier,” which was released as a single in the wake of the commercial’s popularity.

The single (b/w “World of Love”) appeared on the Billboard magazine “Bubbling Under” chart, peaking at #112. At the age of five, he became the youngest person ever to make any Billboard music chart. An LP, titled Take Life a Little Easier, was released.

He had guest roles in many popular television shows, including The Six Million Dollar Man, Marcus Welby, M.D., Police Story, and The Odd Couple. He appeared on talk shows such as The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson and Dinah’s Place with Dinah Shore. He had a co-starring role in The Harlem Globetrotters Popcorn Machine.

He graduated from Cerritos College and California State University, Dominguez Hills where he majored in marketing. He opened his marketing firm which he named Ripped Marketing Group. He worked on campaigns such as promoting leisure wear and country music, among other projects. He has taken on a few acting roles since his childhood stardom, filming a few episodes of Parker Lewis Can’t Lose, appearing in Former Child Star and Dickie Roberts: Former Child Star.

He is a partner in the film production company Bow Tie Productions and a spokesman for Hurricane Housing Relief. He worked at KABC-TV in Los Angeles. He has served as master of ceremonies for the Carson Relay For Life. He was a national director of marketing with Metro Networks. Glenn Thompkins received the Glenn Davis Award for high school football excellence

Glenn Thompkins, the star quarterback of Rialto Eisenhower High, made headlines once again as he was honored with the prestigious Glenn Davis Award for his outstanding performance in Southern California's high school football scene. Just two days after leading his team to victory in the Southern Section Division I championship, Thompkins received this coveted award during a ceremony held in Riverside.

Named after the esteemed Heisman Trophy winner who attended Army and Bonita High in La Verne, the Glenn Davis Award is presented annually by The Times. It serves as a testament to the remarkable talent and dedication demonstrated by high school football players in the region.

At the age of 17, Thompkins, a three-year starter for the Eagles, showcased his versatility and prowess on the field throughout the season. With an impressive 14-0 record under his leadership, the team secured their championship title by defeating Santa Ana Mater Dei with a resounding score of 56-3 at Anaheim Stadium. In this decisive game, Thompkins exhibited his multifaceted skill set by throwing for 174 yards and three touchdowns, along with rushing for 71 yards and an additional touchdown. Not content with just offensive contributions, he also made significant defensive plays, breaking up several passes and returning two punts.

Tom Hoak, Eisenhower’s coach, attributed the team's undefeated season to Thompkins, emphasizing his versatility and ability to excel in any position on the field. Standing at 5 feet 9 inches and weighing 163 pounds, Thompkins amassed impressive statistics throughout the season, passing for 1,214 yards and rushing for 717. Additionally, he showcased his defensive prowess by starting in various positions, including inside linebacker and end.

Thompkins' remarkable performance on the field has garnered attention from numerous colleges and universities, with notable institutions such as Notre Dame, Oklahoma, and Kansas vying for his talents. From Classroom to Campus: Crawford High School’s New Year Leads a New Way

San Diego Unified School District officials, students, and their colt mascot rang in the new school year at Crawford High School in the El Cerritos community Monday morning.

The August 12th date might seem earlier than usual. According to Dr. Erin Richison, SDUSD Area Superintendent of High Schools, this is a decision three years in the making. By moving up the academic calendar to start earlier, the district hopes to support students who are dual-enrolled in high school and at neighboring colleges. The calendar will continue to include 180 school days, but now provide more instructional time before spring assessments, including SAT and Advanced Placement exams.

This is just one way Crawford High School plans to prepare its students to transition out of high school. This new school year comes with new career pathway programs and a new guaranteed enrollment agreement with California State University San Marcos.

The new admission agreement, similar to Sweetwater Union High School District’s with San Diego State University, guarantees admission for eligible high school graduates and will provide college prep opportunities starting in middle school. For the diverse community Crawford High serves, the admission will be a game-changer for students.

“A lot of immigrant families find that Crawford is home to their student. They feel very welcome and included that they belong here. But a part of that, and because 40 different countries are represented… 35 languages, 72 dialects, some things do get lost in translation, as it relates to how to apply for college, how to pay for college,” said Dr. Reashon Villery, principal at Crawford High School.

“We want our students to know that not only can you get accepted into college and have automatic acceptance, but also just a variety of options with financial aid.”

Crawford’s students will also have an array of programs to join this year. The newest additions are Emergency Medical Technician pathway and a swim class for students, along with the existing law academy, automotive class, and health career pathway with Rady Children’s Hospital.

Through the EMT pathway, students can chose an alternative to a traditional four-year education after high school and still gain access to medical careers. The goal is that by the end of high school, students will either gain a certificate or enough college credit to get started in an EMT career.

The swim class, aside from teaching students water safety and offering a new activity, holds the opportunity to become a junior lifeguard after the 24-week class.

At the leading edge of high school programs is the Crawford Academy of Law, which has been established since 2011. Through a state grant, students in their sophomore through senior years can learn about careers in the legal field and gain work experience from courts and law firms.

One of the course’s highlights is the classroom lined with wooden podiums with a judge and jury stand, which simulates a real courtroom. Since the first time since the pandemic began, students will work with the newly reinstated San Diego Teen Court to be trained in restorative justice using real cases with youth offenders. Students will receive mentoring from a judge or an attorney who will supervise as students take charge in questioning and decisions, says program coordinator Ray Beattie.

Aside from the hands-on experience, students benefit from the Crawford Academy of Law Foundation, which gives scholarship money to those who participate in mock trials, complete the attorney program, and are aspiring leaders. According to Beattie, the foundation awarded around $20,000 in scholarships to sophomores, juniors, and seniors at the Academy Awards in May.

Crawford High School principal Reashon Villery said that she is proud to be part of the high school’s vision.

Lorenzo Romar (November 13, 1958) was born and grew up in Compton, where he went on to play at Cerritos Community College. He transferred and played for the University of Washington, where he averaged 7.7 points and 1.9 rebounds a game. He was drafted by the Golden State Warriors. He played for the Milwaukee Bucks and Detroit Pistons. He averaged 5.9 points, 1.3 rebounds, and 3.5 assists for his career.

He started coaching for Athletes in Action. He was hired as an assistant coach for UCLA under head coach Jim Harrick. He recruited many of the players on the 1995 UCLA team that won the national championship.

He received his first head coach position at Pepperdine University, and then at Saint Louis University. He was hired as the head coach of the University of Washington Huskies. He was the first African American head coach of any sport at the University of Washington.

The University of Washington’s basketball team played in the NCAA national tournament for the first time in five years. Washington won the Pac-10 tournament. They made it to the “Sweet Sixteen” in NCAA national competition for the first time since 1998.

The University of Washington made a third consecutive appearance in the NCAA tournament and reached the Sweet Sixteen level. He was named the Pac-10 coach of the year, and his team would boast a 4th seed in the tournament. He became the second all-time most-winning coach in the history of University of Washington basketball.

His Husky teams had disappointing, near .500 seasons every year. The Huskies had a dismal record of 9-22 despite having a potential #1 NBA draft pick in Markelle Fultz, who averaged 23.2 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 5.9 assists a game. His fifteen-year career with the UW Husky Basketball team ended on March 15, 2017, when he was fired by University of Washington Athletic Director. #africanhistory365 #africanexcellence

2. What’s your roman empire?

My roman empire is dessert. I think about sweets 24/7. (I’m borderline pre-diabetic)

3. What is the best compliment you have ever received?

The best compliment I have ever received was when someone told me they could spend 24/7 with me and not get bored.

4. If your life was a movie what genre would it be (comedy, horror, drama, etc.) and what actor would play you?

If my life was a movie it would be a mix of comedy and drama. I would want Kevin Hart to play me.

5. What is something on your college bucket list?

One thing on my college bucket list is to learn how to spike in volleyball.

6. What’s your guilty pleasure? (song, movie, food etc.)

My guilty pleasure is that I love refrigerated pickles straight from the jar.

7. What are your bad habits?

One bad habit is that I crave candy every second of the day and I need to have something sweet after every meal.

9. Defend your unpopular opinion/ hot take

It’s nasty to drink water without ice. I’d have to be extremely dehydrated to drink room temperature water.

10. Describe a time where you had to step up and be a leader?

There have been a few instances where I would step in to be a leader but one situation that always seems to persist is group projects. In group projects and presentations during high school and college, I usually liked to step up and take the role as the leader of the group. I would try to make sure everyone is doing their part and that we are able to finish the assignment on time without any complications or errors. I tend to unintentionally take this role a lot when it comes to projects because I just want to ensure that we get a good grade and that everyone that is a part of the group is participating.  There are some cases where one person will end up doing all the work by themselves and everyone else just gets to write their name on it and take credit. So when it comes to it, I am almost always willing to step in and get the job done for the sake of the team. I prefer things to be fair and not one sided. However, as a leader I always aim to not be controlling or bossy because I want to be a person that people are comfortable with following. If you are disliked, then people will tend to not listen to what you have to say and end up doing their own thing. So although I may sometimes step in and take charge, I make sure to not seem like the “boss.”
