the thing with the kids names is margaery is a) sane and self-actualised and b) has a rabid guard dog who will kill that blonde bitch if he so much as pokes her. so if joffrey goes "i want to name our three demon children maegor rhaenyra and aerion" margaery can say no. and really cersei wouldn't even fight her on that even though she fights her on everything. she would convince herself it was her idea all along. so the kids do have to have normal names. theyre definitely having a set of insane twins tho. anyway guys under the cut

eldest child and daughter PRINCESS CERYSE BARATHEON. hightower targ-adjacent looks from alerie which i see as ash-blonde hair blue eyes. mini cersei and cersei's fave except after she turned 12 cersei started hating her.

eldest son PRINCE ROBERT BARATHEON. i think it would be funny if he had black hair and blue eyes because olenna stockpiled renly semen or found some random who looked baratheon enough. i want this to happen because it would drive cersei insane. because yes it makes it look like the robert genes just skipped a generation and joff IS legit but SHE knows thats not fucking true. otherwise brown hair brown eyes with a strong build. cersei hates this boy beyond measure. he hates her back def a little misogynist but obsessed with mommy marge

PRINCESS TYA BARATHEON dirty blonde hair green eyes. they were sure it would be a son and cersei marge were fighting over naming him after tywin or loras while joff was like maegor >:) anyway turns out to be a girl and cersei is like oh of course we should name her after ms loras and marge is like oh no we SHOULD honour lord tywin. this is also me referencing tya of tya and gowen fame. after cersei drops ceryse as favourite girlgrandchild she picks tya but its just to torment ceryse. tya hates ceryse because when ceryse was in her mean girl era she would bully tya.

PRINCE LORENT and PRINCESS ALICENT BARATHEON twinsies :3 brown hair brown eyes or brown hair green eyes. cersei sees some kind of a reflection in alicent (sad scared insecure little girl) or maybe its more like she sees a trembling mouse and wants to stomp on it. lorent is mentored by loras and the rest of the evil kingsguard so he's not normal.

PRINCE LYONEL BARATHEON, brown haired and brown eyed. gets sent off to myrcella and trystane in dorne and ends up astoundingly normal. meets his dad after not seeing him for eight years and is like man we should kill this guy. meets all his siblings and is like wow you are all insane

PRINCESS JOANNA BARATHEON fourth and final kid, brown haired and brown eyed. cersei thinks a brunette named for her mother is the greatest insult margaery could ever make. dies young maybe in a freak accident maybe due to the red keep's general evil and cersei WILL be making a scene at the funeral and tormenting marge over it. might be what makes marge snap and kill her. alternatively PRINCE CERION BARATHEON and he's cersei's fave in the style of joffrey and when he dies she goes apoplectic. marge thinks they'll bond over it but cersei in fact gets worse

anyway these are some guys i made up for them. is seven too many... i like it for the faith allusion but would marge bother on more pregnancies once she's pumped out a son and heir. if so pick and choose which ones are fun.

I'm kinda fascinated by the "Cerion" timeline. It really makes things interesting. Aerys wouldn't have named Jaime to the Kingsguard because he isn't the heir, and even if he did offer it, Jaime only accepted because Cersei asked him to. So I could totally see Jaime becoming almost like a hedge knight figure, free to fulfill his dreams of being a "true knight", following a code of honor and chivalry. Heck, I see him stealing away with Tyrion as his "squire" just to get him away from the scorn and hatred of his father and elder brother. The Wandering Lions.

What do you think it would be like if both Jaime and Cersei were born male?

can see it being a fair bit less complicated than canon. like I think maybe they flat out dislike each other as brothers?? Cersei would finally have what she’s wanted in canon and that’s to be esteemed as Tywin’s true heir, but ends up with an inferiority complex anyway bc I can still see male Cersei being short tempered and short sighted, so that Tywin still berates him often and makes him feel like shit. the whole ‘Cersei is wildfire, Tywin is a glacier’ still applies here, and Tywin will still be like ‘I despair of my reckless son’ and Cers will still spend his life desperately trying and failing to measure up to his father’s expectations. and then Cers marries Lysa some way down the road and that’s a shitshow and so on and so on

Jaime meanwhile. I think Jaime would be pretty happy as a second son. he can study the sword to his heart’s content, hold out on marriage as long as it pleases him and do whatever he likes in the meantime. Tywin might still have expectations of his second son but I don’t think this version of Jaime would feel particularly beholden to them. and I think this version of Cers (Cerion? idk) has no reason to cling to Jaime as canon Cersei does, so they’re not close as twins, and Cerion would probably disregard him entirely excepttt that Jaime is obviously a far better swordsman and I think that gets to Cerion bc it feels like a slight to his own masculinity and role as heir - even if Jaime isn’t trying to compete with him there. I can see him putting Jaime down a lot in childhood to try and establish his own superiority, and Jaime just wanting nothing to do w his twin as soon as they’re old enough to move apart.

so in the end they each end up on their own paths - Cerion inherits the Rock and tries to be Tywin II but ends up being some kind of Joffrey Lite. Jaime just fucks around playing hedge knights or whatever to please himself before presumably marrying at some point. don’t know who tho, think he’d probably just end up in a romance with someone obscure just cos he can. I don’t think Tywin could force second son Jaime into any marriage he wasn’t keen on, so he’d probably give him license to pick a ‘suitable girl’ and that’d be that. so yeah Jaime is fine in this AU and Cersei is Cersei

Walking down the small path leading to Myra's house, Cersei was rehearsing the words she had heard earlier this afternoon by the old midwife who had delivered both Joanna and Cerion. Words of hope and joy, words she hadn't dared to hope to hear once again. She smoothed a hand over her flat stomach, briefly wondering if she could have faith in the woman, wondering if she hadn't been wrong and if the time for her moonblood hadn't come to an end instead, but it couldn't be. The signs were all here, and after five pregnancies, she knew them all too well; the cravings, the slight cramps low in her belly, the soreness in her breast, the tiredness… Oh, the tiredness! No doubt she was carrying another cub. The thought of seeing her stomach swell again with Jaime's child brought a delighted smile upon her lips, and her mind was now wandering on her husband, and how she would break the news to him. He would be ecstatic to say the least. She could already picture his face lighting up, the glow in his emeralds shining like million little stars in the darkest sky when she would reveal her little secret. Giving another child to her brother, making him a father again, always felt like one of her greatest accomplishments. Their little family here, in Pentos, was their purpose, and they had worked hard to build it.

An endangered species of snail from the Caribbean. Their population is pretty small, since they hibernate until it rains, so it's hard to identify how many of them there really are.

And yeah, I know snails are gastropods, not insects, but someone has to help them out too.
