Ceramic Coating Excellence for Your Car
You might have heard the term "ceramics" mentioned by car care brands and detailing experts, but don't confuse these with the ceramics from your pottery class. The ceramics we're talking about serve a very different purpose.
So, what exactly are ceramics in the context of car care, and how can they benefit your vehicle? Keep reading to uncover the answers and learn more about the advantages they offer.
Basics of Ceramic Coating:
A ceramic coating is made from a blend of silicone dioxide and other polymers, creating a tough and durable shell that shields your vehicle's paintwork. Think of it as a thin, lightweight armor for your car. While it won’t make your vehicle bulletproof, it does protect against light to moderate scratches, swirls, and oxidation in the clear coat.
Additionally, a ceramic coating makes your car’s surface hydrophobic. This means that instead of rainwater lingering on your car's hood for hours, the coating repels water, encouraging it to bead up and roll off the sides. This helps prevent streaks and water stains, keeping your car looking pristine.
Like car wax, a ceramic coating acts as a protective barrier for your vehicle's paintwork. However, ceramic coatings are significantly stronger and more durable than natural wax. While carnauba wax needs to be reapplied every 2-3 months, most ceramic coatings can last at least six months with regular touch-ups and maintenance. Ceramic coatings also offer superior protection against scratches, swirls, UV rays, and chemicals.
Ceramic coatings have been a robust alternative to car wax for over 20 years. Many consider them to be superior in terms of protection and longevity. However, traditional ceramic coatings often require professional application, which can make these benefits rather costly to obtain.
SAME BENEFITS, DIFFERENT FORM
Silicon dioxide not only provides durability and hydrophobic properties but also enhances performance. Ceramics maximize the benefits of other active ingredients, making them an excellent addition to car care products. Combining the strength of silicon dioxide with the incredible shine of traditional carnauba wax, we developed the perfect formulation of ceramic wax.
The result is a new type of ceramic coating that anyone can apply, offering the protective strength of a professional coating along with a showroom-quality shine. This formula became the foundation of our Hybrid Solutions collection, a new line of products delivering professional-grade protection and shine, easily achievable in your driveway.
Our Hybrid Solutions Ceramic Spray Coating provides up to a year’s worth of protection and a stunning shine in just 5-10 minutes. The Hybrid Solutions Polish & Wax removes light scratches and imperfections, leaving a smooth, flawless finish with a fresh coating of ceramic wax. The Hybrid Solutions Ceramic Wet Wax can be applied right after the final rinse of your car wash, drying your car and adding a fresh layer of ceramic protection in one easy step. Simply buff it in with a microfiber towel to see your car shine and sparkle like new.
You know what’s better?
If you thought ceramic coatings were impressive, the future holds even more promise. When combined with the strongest substance known to man, ceramic wax reaches a whole new level.
Enter graphene—a compound stronger than diamonds. When paired with ceramics and carnauba wax, genuine graphene offers unparalleled scratch resistance, heat resistance, and durability. It bonds directly to the clear coat, preserving that incredible showroom look for up to a year with proper touch-ups and maintenance.
This isn’t just a promise; it’s a reality. Our newest additions to the Hybrid Solutions collection, Hybrid Solutions PRO Flex Wax and Hybrid Solutions PRO to the Max Wax, bring this innovation to your car care routine. Experience the unmatched protection and shine these products offer, keeping your car looking brand new all year round. So, are ceramic coatings beneficial? Absolutely. And when combined with wax and other powerful ingredients, they deliver some of the best protection and shine your car can get!

The Powder Keg
Tumblr media Tumblr media
John Price has just spent the whole afternoon teaching his new recruit how to shoot, and after pining for her all day, he’s about ready to burst, just like a powder keg…
Hot, steaming water sprayed out of the shower head and soaked his burnt, pink skin. When he took in a deep breath, it was humid and heavy, filling his lungs with more moisture than air, leaving him panting and weak from the heat of it. But, he let it suffocate him. He allowed it to obfuscate his senses, to coat his mouth like a gag, to stop him from calling out for her. John Price was so damn close to forgetting himself. He pulled his imaginary muzzle tighter, just in case.
He’d spent the better part of the day in the frigid sands in some Urzikstani Green zone, teaching his new sergeant to shoot his M-16. She was a good marksman, but she was unfamiliar with the desert’s unforgiving winds, and she needed to see how he had set his sights. It shouldn’t have taken so long for him to help her, and if he was before Peter at those gates of pearl and splendor, forced to tell the truth, he had chosen to keep her there. He’d been selfish, preferring to watch her laying there, prone and panting, firing bullet after bullet, all to please her captain. It was the betrayal of the sun that had ruined his gluttony. It had set behind the dunes, forcing John to come indoors and try to wash off all of his sin.
Price had been hard all day. Seeing her plump arse in those canvas pants, looking down at her, concentrating and vulnerable in the sand… it was enough to drive him wild. Now, here he was, gripping his heavy rod like a teenager, squeezing himself tight enough to see stars.
The soap and the suds had all washed away, but the billowing steam had remained. He felt each scalding droplet stinging against his sun-ravaged skin, and he used it like a million little flogs, punishing himself for his thoughts of her. She, in the inky blackness of his mind, had been… everywhere. She was stripping for him, peeling away each article of clothing, each layer of her uniform with calculated effort, revealing herself to him bit by bit. He was watching as her fingers dug into the band of her pants, sliding them down her thick thighs, showing off her tattooed skin, uncovering scars like tiny secrets. Secrets only he could know.
She was grabbing his cock. It was her hand tugging him hard, not his. Her palm slipping over his rosy head, her fingers slipping his foreskin down his shaft, her mouth…
“Unghh…” John leaned against the cold tile, trying to calm himself down. His forehead dug into the white ceramic, rolling across it, trying to find some relief to his torment.
He knew her mouth would feel so sweet. She would plant a delicate little kiss on the top of it, wouldn’t she? She was so kind. She would be so kind to him. An old dog who didn’t deserve it. Not one lick. And yet, she would lick him. Her tongue would lap around his thick base, purring at his size, gassing him up, pumping his ego. Maybe it would be the truth. Either way, he’d buy it; hook, line, and sinker.
“Baby, baby, baby…” He’d name her. She’d be his. His woman. His everything. She’d steal his breath like this impenetrable steam.
The tip of her tongue would find that ridge, the one tucked under his head, the one just below his hole, and she’d suckle at it, just as if she was pulling venom from a snake bite, like his life depended on it. And maybe it did.
Maybe she would be willing to sit across his lips, giving herself to him like a feast to a starving man. She would taste like nectar, and it would coat his tongue, sticky and cloying, painting his palate and filling his nose. He would learn her scent, burying himself into it, finding himself within her taste and her warmth.
Then, mercifully, perhaps she would take him inside of her, deep into her body. He would sink into her, down into her depths. Engulfed. Surrounded. At her mercy. Perhaps she would use those soft muscles to hold him in, to clutch at him like a hungry, suckling mouth.
His hand tightened around his head and the rhythmic milking noises of his self-made pleasure filled the tiny shower like a perpetual echo. He began to fuck his grip, rutting wildly into his palm, coating his callused skin in precome. He was dripping from the shower, but nothing was slipperier than his wet pleasure. It made his cock slide even faster through his huge hand, helping his head burrow itself into his fingers.
John wanted it to be real. He dreamt, with his eyes squeezed shut, of the way her legs would part for him, spread like the petals of a flower, soft and pliant like a little, pink rose. As he jerked his hand across his pulsing head, he imagined what it would be like to rub himself amongst her delicate folds. He almost came from the thought, shuddering, catching himself against the wall, whimpering like he was pressing into a bruise.
A little faster. A little more friction. He grunted, unable to hold his voice inside of him, desperate and feral.
Her eyes, gleaming and beautiful, looking up at him, calling his name.
And that was enough to do it. He came, crying out for her…
“Oh, fuck… baby…”
“Captain?”
His blood went cold, and when he heard her voice, he froze, letting his come leak out of his balls, coating his hands and flooding over his knuckles.
The curtain hissed as she pulled it away from the wall, her eyes traveling all over his body, appraising him and approving. She smiled, a little coy,
“Got room for one more?”

Corroded Coffin v. Slip 'n Slide Pairing: Eddie Munson x You Summary: Eddie and Evil Woman find an old Slip 'n Slide at a yard sale, and Corroded Coffin is super excited to try it out. Contains: Summer fun, Eddie getting to live out a childhood fantasy, Evil Woman being surrounded by morons. Words: 1k
Tumblr media
"Always wanted to play on one of these."
You put down the ceramic figurine you're inspecting for chips and look at the box Eddie's holding. Another yard sale in the next town over, so big it was advertised in the paper; the only thing that'll get Eddie out of bed before noon on a Saturday.
"You've never been on a Slip 'n Slide?" you ask.
"Nope. Rich kid thing. When it got hot, Wayne would sit on the porch with the hose, whoever was around would run through it."
"That sounds more fun than this thing, actually."
"You've been on one?"
"Once. Hated it."
Eddie hums in acknowledgment and stares at the box that's been sitting in someone's attic for twenty years with a sort of longing.
"How much?" you ask.
"It was just a thought," Eddie shrugs, putting the box back on the table. A little orange sticker reads 50¢. You reach over and snatch it before someone else can.
"We're getting it," you say with finality.
You tuck the box under your arm and keep browsing. Eddie ducks his head and grins, following you along the rows of packed tables.
You end up spending close to $10, acquiring a decent amount of records and 8-track tapes for your shared collection, but the crown jewel is Eddie's Slip n' Slide. He's so excited about it, you even set it up while Corroded Coffin practices that afternoon, so they can strip their shirts and cool off afterwards.
You'd angled it down the hill, to give the boys a little extra zoom. You brought the hose out and put it in position. You set up a lawn chair in the shade near the bottom and brought out a magazine, an icy drink, and your camera. For when the boys ended up skidding across the grass. Because every single one of them would ride it down the hill, one after the other, and think they were going to be the one to stop before the slide did. Morons.
The heat is reaching the unbearable point by the time they wrap up practice. You put your magazine down when the music stops. They file out of the garage, already stripped down to their boxers.
The boys stand at the top of the hill and cross their arms, staring at the twenty-five foot long yellow strip in the grass.
"Turn the hose on first, dummies," you call, readying your camera. Gareth scampers to the spigot and turns it on, then runs back to the slide and sprays the hose around until he's sure it's wet enough. They play rock-paper-scissors to determine who goes first. Grant wins. The boys clear the runway, and he takes a runner's stance. He takes off and makes a glorious swan dive…
and skids to a painful stop on his stomach, about three feet in.
"Fuuuuuck!" he groans, rolling over to reveal a red chest and stomach.
A collective "ohhh" comes from the trio.
"It didn't do this last time," Grant whines.
"When was last time?" Jeff asks.
"I don't know, it was some kid's birthday party," Grant grunts as he picks himself up off the yellow plastic.
"You're heavier now," Jeff observes. "It's for kids. We're bigger than kids. We just need more slip so we can slide."
"Like soap?" Gareth asks.
"Baby oil?" Grant suggests.
"Wait!" Eddie yells, running toward the van.
Jeff and Gareth lean in to inspect the red on Grant's chest. It looks painful.
Eddie returns to the group, slathering something across his chest. He squirts some in the other boys' hands, and they all coat their chests, arms, and legs. Oh, boy. They're gonna end up in the neighbor's yard.
Grant takes his position again, and takes off running. This time, his swan dive turns into a graceful slide. He laughs as he zooms down the yellow plastic. When he hits the grass, he goes sideways and rolls down the hill. You, of course, get what you're sure is an amazing photo of it.
"Fuck yeah!" he yells, standing up and raising his arms triumphantly.
Jeff goes next, sliding down the hill with a whoop and landing in a heap in the grass. They high-five and wait for Gareth, who slides down with a "yeeeeeah!" before going sideways and rolling with such force, he knocks down Grant and Jeff. You cackle and snap away, wishing you'd brought a backup roll of film with you.
They help each other up, laughing the whole time, and turn their focus back to Eddie. He looks a little nervous.
"C'mon, man!" Gareth yells.
"You got this, babe!" you encourage him.
He grins and takes off, jumping a little weird and landing a little off-center, but Eddie Munson gets to ride the entirety of the twenty-five foot slide. He pops up in the grass with a loud yell, and your heart bursts with pride. Eddie Munson finally got to ride a Slip n' Slide.
"That was awesome!" he grins, glistening in the sun.
"Let's go again!" Jeff yells.
"Should we reapply the magical slippy slidey stuff?" Grant asks.
"What was that, anyway?" Gareth rubs his hand over his shiny chest, testing to see if it's still slippery.
"Uh…" Eddie looks at you with mischief on his face.
Oh no.
"Yeah, man, that was perfect!" Grant chimes in. "We need a tub of it!"
Oh no.
"What was it?" Jeff asks, looking between you and Eddie suspiciously.
"Lube," Eddie answers.
"What?" all three boys ask.
"Luuube," Eddie repeats, his face twisting into the evilest of grins.
"OH MY GOD!" the three of them shriek at the same time, running up the hill to the hose. They fight over it, trying to wash the remnants off themselves. You take a few more photos from your lawn chair, and Eddie plops down next to you.
"Must you horrify the children, dear?" you ask sweetly.
"Duh," he answers.
You snap a photo of the wicked grin still on his face.

I feel like it’s probably time to explain my real art tag again, seeing as AI stuff is in conversations and stuff, and as some people use others’ tags and stuff I just want to be clear what that tag on my blog means…
it’s art, guys. it just means art.
so like I’ve been using that tag and that phrase for years and it has nothing to do with AI
the thing is even before AI there has always been a very very irritating conversation being carried out, often among people who aren’t artists, about what constitutes real art. and I just find it really aggravating. we saw it recently with those tiktockers standing in front of yves klein and mark rothko paintings saying they could do it. I used to get these dudes trying to be cool and pointing at shit and being like *I’m being smart face* ‘but is it art?’
and every time I’d be like…yes. yes, it’s art.
the spray painted little guy putting rubbish in the bin on the bin is art. the coka cola ad is art. the hgly cactus sculpture is art. the spaghetti lights on the freeway ramp are art, yes, it’s art!
if you have to ask that question or can conceivably ask that question then it’s probably art. it’s possible that even if it wasn’t art then you asking that question MADE it art! if you looked at something someone made and derived meaning from it then it is, arguably, art.
in 2011 I finished art school, where I was given so much shit for the emotive, sentimental kitsch, small art I was making, and was just so sick of that shit, man. The painting and sculpture staff got the ceramics studio shut down arguing that ceramics was craft not art which was SO much bullshit and just absolutely aggravating, and I was and am still genuinely so pissed about it.
so I would go around calling things ‘real art’. the shitter and less art-object-seeming it was the more likely I would call it ‘real art’. the first show I did outside of school (where I worked in black and white for like two years) involved hand cut confetti and glitter paper, lmao. it was process art it was performance art, i cried when one morning I came in and one of the studio residents had a private confetti party and made snow angels overnight in the pile of confetti that coated the floor. that was real art.
I was just so frustrated. Art doesn’t have some magical sacred meaning, or divine limit on what can be art. art is just stuff humans make for all kinds of reasons. and that is what makes it magical and sacred and amazing. That’s why I love it
elephants can make art! kids can make art! humans who don’t really know what art is have made some of the most wonderful art in the whole history of humanity.
I would hear my nurse friends say they aren’t creative and I’d sit them down with a piece of paper and ink and make them draw dots about it. nurses are problem solving constantly lmao. draw some dots, you’ll feel better.
so like don’t think that I’m like checking art for AI and then marking them as real art if they aren’t AI. firstly I have severe brainfog so I can’t always pick it, which is awful but I’m defs not going to put my hand up as some AI spotter. I’d suck at it.
secondly, I consider AI art to be art (by the way I personally define art). I just find the current means of making it to be repugnantly unethical and shitty (and pretty much all of it is ugly also, but that isn’t like…some barrier to it being art. it’s art. it’s just shithouse, lmao.)
so yeah. art is art is art is real art. make some art, look at some art, enjoy art or rag on art if you think it isn’t succeeding as the artist intended; just don’t take my tag to be some kind of sticker of authenticity or somethink. I’m just on here to destract myself from constant pain by looking at cute animals and cool shit, telling blue jokes, and enjoying tits and butts

I just got done my ceramics class. And I have such a nice time. I used almost all of my clay. Literally had like three little teeny tiny pieces the size of a quarter left. I gave them to Sandy because she had a reclaim bag right there and I just feel really nice right now. I am very excited to go home though because I'm so tired.
I didn't sleep well again last night but it's really just because I can't breathe. I wake up in the morning and I can't breathe out of my nose and I just feel so tired. I don't know what I can do to make myself breathe better at night. I'm either too hot or it's too dry. Ridiculous.
So because of that I let myself sleep an extra hour. And I did benefit from that greatly. Wednesdays are great because I can do that. And I just tried to not cry. James left a little bit before I got up for real. They had laid it with me for a little while but honestly I was just not in a good spot and I was just really frustrated.
But they left and I pulled myself together. I got dressed and I felt pretty good. My hair is very dirty and my head is itchy but it looked nice. And I just pulled myself together and I left and I went to work.
I was still thinking about the house a lot. And I I'm still thinking about it now. But I tried to put it out of my head and think about other stuff because focusing on and isn't going to help me much.
So I got to camp and I got to work on fixing some of the things on the schedule. Cuz that is just going to be a project I'm going to continuously tinker with for the next 3 months. I worked on starting to write down the lessons and ideas I have for the new programs that we're trying to develop. It was a good time.
But very quickly I became very bored. They're just wasn't enough for me to do today. But it was also way too cold outside to do anything. On my drive in it started to flurry which was so nice and it was so pretty. But I left my gloves at home and so being outside was too painful. Thankfully I have an extra sweatshirt in the car so I was able to layer later in the day when it got doing colder. But I did not want to be out in the world doing much. I wanted to stay in the office where it was at least warm.
I was very distracted this morning though I was just thinking about the house and I was working on lesson plans and I was playing on my phone and eventually I walked up to the art building and I did put some stuff away and I spray painted a pallet easel box I have that someone had poorly painted. So I would go up there twice to do a couple coats. And then I put away all the stuff that we got from the attic. But then my hands hurt really bad so I went back to the office.
I was so bored that I just was eating all day. Just trying to keep myself awake. I had my lunch early and I just tried to have a nice day because it was very difficult when I was so bored.
Eventually I would go up to arts and crafts and get some of my beating stuff and brought that down to work on just to have something to do.. periodically Heather would have something for me to change your ad on the schedule so I kept fussing with that and working on my lesson plans. And eventually we got an email from Harold about the house.
Apparently the current owner, seller, got a home inspection done in September. I guess in preparation for putting a house in the market. And there are issues. A lot of issues. It's hard though because there are two codes essentially there's orange and there is red. And the orange ones are kind of all over the place. Like some are stuff that is concerning to me and stuff that I'm just like oh well like that's fine. Like for instance some of the orange ones are about the length of the handrails. And then others are about the gutters touching electrical wires. And this has issues. It will need work if we get this one. Some of it bigger than others. But honestly I don't know if it dissuades me from this particular house. I'm going to kind of lean on our realtor on this one and kind of take his advice at this point because any home inspection we get is going to have these problems because we're looking at houses that are old. But even the house is that are old but flipped are not flipped well so they're also going to have issues. So it's really hard to know how much money it's going to take to fix any of these places. And like yesterday I watched a TikTok about someone who just bought a brand new house and it's leaking all over the place and it's just got water coming from every pipe essentially and they've had to replace the entire flooring and so many things have gone wrong. And honestly I think that's probably going to be the case in any place we end up. They're all going to have the potential for catastrophe. And you got to hope that it's not going to happen and be proactive and I think that's one of the things that's nice about the home inspection because now at least we know and we can start attacking those problems. I just need to believe in myself that I wouldn't take on something that I don't think I can handle either by fixing it myself or financially.
But honestly getting that home inspection just made me more stressed because now I don't know what the right answer is. There's so many things I like about this house but I still think I want to see the couple more. I am more secure in what my overall budget is though and what I'm comfortable with taking out lone wise. I don't want to be stupid about it but it is not a buyer's market and I am also being realistic about that. It's really hard to know what the right call is in the end
I just focused on my beating though and tried to finish out the day. Chris would come up from his house to have a meeting with Alexi and me him and Heather talked a little bit. I told him he's going to be leaving a program and he was like haha and I'm like apparently you were supposed to do it beforehand so I'm going to make you do it this year and I think it will be good for everybody. I hope that I can actually make that happen. And I chatted with Heather after he went into his meeting and we talked about enthusiasm and getting people on board with stuff and the things that we hope to do and it was really nice.
Me and Heather were also laughing because earlier in the day I had found someone had posted two of our badges / awards on eBay for like 40 and $50 a piece. that is hilarious. Which one of our people are doing that because that is so funny. What I think happened is something we donated had a patch on it and it ended up in somebody's hands that thought it was worth something and was vintage and put it online. But these things are modern and it was really funny to see.
But it was time for me to go. And annoyingly I wasn't really hungry anymore but I knew that I should eat something where I was not going to make it through my class. I said goodbye to everyone and decided to drive out to cockeysville to go get Taco Bell. But you didn't really make my stomach feel amazing. I accidentally got two different potato products. But it was okay. I ate my car and watched a video and then I went to my class.
And it was a really nice class. We only have one more after this and I'm really glad I took this class but I still don't think I really like throwing on a wheel and if I did a ceramics again I would just want to be a handworking class. They do have other types of classes at the millville and so I'm going to look into those because I think I would still enjoy taking something. Periodically but weekly I think might be a little bit much for me right now. I'm just a little stretched thin.
I started the class by finishing waxing the bottoms of all of my fire pieces to get ready to be dipped. I chose a couple colors I haven't done before and when I have. I am really excited to see how they come out and I really hope they come out well. And then I trimmed the pieces I made last week. I decided I really liked the rough texture so I left a lot of that natural roughness to them and I think that they will come out very interestingly in the end. And then it was time to start working on my Christmas ornaments!
I really like to doing the Christmas ornaments with cookie cutters. I thought I would enjoy the temporary tattoo underglazes more but it just didn't do anything for me. Like I made a couple that I think will be nice gifts but I really enjoyed making the cookie ones and then I wanted to paint them like actual cookies. My favorite ones I made look like the Little Debbie's Christmas tree cakes. And I'm really hoping they come out nice because I just think that they were a really good idea and I am very excited about them.
I still had some clay left so I rolled that out and I cut a whole bunch more cookies and I did drop a wooden tray on the ground of some of them and squished them so I had to start those again. But it was fine. I talked to Lindsey about finishing them next week since I'm going to have stuff to glaze but that's not going to take very long and I want to have something to work on so I have a few pieces that I'm going to let continue to dry in the next week I'll under glaze them and then she said even though the class is over we can come back and do clear dip places on all of our pieces if we need to. Very very nice of her.
I didn't have much clean up because I never turned the wheel on and so I was able to pick up pretty quickly and now I'm on my way home. It's very cold outside and I kept my clay covered sweatshirt on under my jacket. But I'll be home soon and I'm going to wash my hair and try to sleep better tonight. Fingers crossed. Tomorrow me and Sarah are hoping to go up to the art building to do some crafts but we'll see what happens. It's so cold up there I can't really see us being very comfortable doing that but we will see. I just hope it's a good day. And I hope that we get to see some houses tomorrow. Maybe it'll give me a little bit more clarity.
I hope that you all sleep well tonight. Be safe out there. Until next time. Wash your hands.

Fresh water ran from the tap onto the hands of the male, washing away the deep crimson that stained them. His hands rubbing against each other furiously, scrapping against skin in an attempt to remove the blood. So much blood. He swallowed into a dry throat as his body began to shake, each passing second the crimson simply not going away. It was his hands refused to be clean from the bloodshed which coated them, no matter how much effort he put into cleaning them.
Hayden was beginning to become visibly distressed. His teeth clenching against themselves, his breath quickening. This was angering him, scaring him. His efforts began to grow more serious, muttering to himself. "Fuckin'... go away." The facet which had up to this point been pouring clear water soon changed to that same deep red. Pouring the thick substance onto his hands, causing it to stain his hands and splash onto him. The flow of the facet growing rapidly, until what was once a steady stream was now a shaking violent spray.
He removed his hands from the sink as he stumbled back, the primal response of fear and anger taking over. "Stop, Stop!" The man roared at the sink, grasping at it's edges. His breathing uneven and shaky, quickening. Without thinking he tore the sink from the wall with a roar, before throwing it across the room. The sound of crashing ceramic and wood would be heard as it was sent clean through the wall. Crashing into the other room, his hands coming up to grasp his head. A scream ripping from his lips, a hoarse throat yell as he dropped to his knees.
He closed his eyes, as the sounds of whining and distress left his lips. Yet, closing his eyes provided no relief to him. Instead, the darkness which he entered into was replaced with the flashing images of days gone. Memories of slaughter and battle, the faces of the dead taken by his hand. Young men faces' locked into ghastly displays of anguish, dying horribly. Stabbed on a battlefield and left to die slowly. No time to offer mercy, none to give. Old men who met death with fearful gazes, enemies at the time. It didn't matter, every man or beast that was fated to be his enemy he had brought low.
How many lives had he killed, how much blood-stained hands. A man suited for a physical capacity for violence, who absorbed himself into just causes. If a heaven existed it's gates would be shut to him, if the sins of a man could be displayed on their body his skin would have no room. He might have been a demon, or a hollow, or a cursed spirit. But he was damned. Too strong to be killed, and too weak to end-
In the midst of his storm he felt a hand upon him. A weight placed upon him. A comforting weight. A familiar weight. The soothing words of a friend, whispered into his ear.
"It is ok."
It is not ok.
"You are safe."
Not for very long.
"There is no war, there is no battle."
There is always a war, always another fight.
"Hayden, breathe."
For the first time he is told to breathe, and he tries to. He chokes on his dry throat, on the sob which he is burying. In one moment, his distress is eased, his mouth hangs open. Each labored breath he gives shakes his body, as the familiar weight of his friend brings him back to reality. He is a not fighting, he is not at battle. He is wounded, but it not mortal. His hand reaches up to touch what is weight across him shoulders. He feels the slender arm of a woman, flashes of full green hair on the edge of his vision. It is her.
As his eyes open once more, he seeks the mess which he has caused. The sink is broken. Ripped from the wall. The pipes leak water onto the floor, the wall has been busted by his throwing of it. But yet, there is not a single drop of blood. Not on himself, not on the floor.
He opens his mouth to speak, and only a dry sob comes out. He is healing, if only barely.

Wire Metallizing (Flame Wire Spray)
Wire Metallizing, or Flame Wire Spray, is a time-tested thermal spray technique where a metallic wire is melted using an oxygen-fuel flame and then sprayed onto a surface. This method is ideal for corrosion protection and surface restoration. It is widely used in sectors like construction and manufacturing to coat steel structures such as bridges and pipelines. The process is both cost-effective and scalable, offering durable protection against environmental elements and wear, thereby extending the life of critical infrastructure and machinery.
Electric Arc Spray
Electric Arc Spray involves melting two electrically conductive wires through an electric arc to create a molten spray that is deposited onto the surface. This method is particularly beneficial for large-scale applications that require robust, long-lasting coatings. It is commonly used in industries such as oil and gas, marine, and automotive to provide corrosion resistance and wear protection for machinery and structural components. With a high deposition rate and excellent adhesion, Electric Arc Spray is effective for applying thick coatings quickly and efficiently, ensuring enhanced durability for components exposed to harsh environments.
Flame Powder Spray
Flame Powder Spray utilizes powdered materials, including metals and ceramics, which are melted in an oxygen-fuel flame and sprayed onto the substrate. This versatile method is suitable for applications requiring thermal barrier coatings, such as in turbines and engine components. Its ability to handle a variety of materials makes it a valuable technique for industries needing wear-resistant coatings. By improving the resistance of components to friction, corrosion, and high temperatures, Flame Powder Spray contributes to enhanced performance and extended service life in demanding conditions.
Rokide Ceramics Spray
Rokide Ceramics Spray employs ceramic rods as the coating materials, which are melted using a high-temperature flame and then sprayed onto the surface. This technique is well-suited for applications requiring abrasive protection and high-temperature resistance. Commonly used in industries like mining and manufacturing, Rokide coatings provide excellent protection against wear and thermal stress. The resulting ceramic layer is durable and long-lasting, making it ideal for components subjected to harsh operational environments and requiring high-performance protection.
Plasma Spray
Plasma Spray is a high-energy technique where a plasma arc melts the coating material, which is then sprayed onto the surface. This method is highly versatile and can be applied to a wide range of materials, including metals, ceramics, and composites. Plasma Spray is used in industries like aerospace and biomedical engineering to apply high-quality coatings that enhance the thermal, electrical, and wear properties of components. Its capability to produce strong, durable coatings with excellent bond strength makes it suitable for high-performance applications such as turbine blades and medical implants.
HVOF (High-Velocity Oxy-Fuel) Coating
HVOF (High-Velocity Oxy-Fuel) Coating involves spraying molten coating material onto a substrate at supersonic speeds, resulting in a dense and well-bonded coating. This technique is favoured in industries that require superior wear and corrosion resistance, such as aerospace and automotive. HVOF coatings are used to protect components like shafts, valves, and pump impellers from extreme wear and corrosive environments. The resulting coatings offer long-term durability and enhanced performance, making HVOF an ideal choice for demanding applications.
Cold Spray
Cold Spray operates at lower temperatures compared to other thermal spray methods, allowing solid powder particles to be deposited onto a surface without melting. This technique is particularly beneficial for coating temperature-sensitive materials, such as polymers and soft metals. Cold Spray is used for restoring worn surfaces and protecting delicate components without causing thermal damage. Its ability to achieve high bond strength and minimal oxidation makes it suitable for aerospace, electronics, and defence applications, where precise and gentle coating solutions are required.
