The BPM Festival: Portugal Phase 2 Artist + Showcase Lineups

EDM Life reported The BPM Festival: Portugal phase 1 artist lineup at the beginning of summer in June, and they recently announced the phase 2 lineup for their European festival debut this September 14 – 17 in Portimão and Lagoa, Portugal. The BPM Festival: Portugal has added over 80 underground electronic music artists that includes Anja Schneider, Art Department, Cassy, Danny Tenaglia, Eats Everything, Guti, Josh Wink, Paco Osuna, Paul Kalkbrenner plus many more. The BPM: Portugal also announced their showcase lineup that will be featuring over 20 party brands and label showcases from across the globe.

The 20 party brands and label showcases will take place across six venues in Portimão and Lagoa. Portimão’s beach club, Blanco Beach, will host daily beach parties that include Stereo Productions and Lee Burridge’s All Day I Dream. Cloque has an open-air setting on top of limestone cliffs with stunning views of the ocean and will be hosting Hector’s Vatos Locos collective as well as Nick Curly presents TRUST. The rooftop venue, Oceans Club, will host nighttime events like Romania’s SUNRISE and Don’t Be Leftout with Visionquest. The nightclub, Katedral, will host parties from French label Form Music and Noferini’s Deeperfect. The daytime beach club, NoSoloÁgua, will host Brazil’s Warung hosted by Ibiza Voice, Jamie Jones’ party brand Paradise, and the Spanish elrow. Lagoa’s Centro de Congressos do Arade will host ANTS and YA’AH MUUL hosted by Deep House Amsterdam.

More than doubling its artist lineup, The BPM Festival: Portugal proudly presents its phase 2 artist lineup for its European festival debut this September 14-17 in Portimão and Lagoa, Portugal. With a global reputation as the preeminent festival brand for underground dance music fans, tastemakers, industry professionals, and artists, The BPM Festival: Portugal adds over 80 of the world’s top underground talent. New additions include Anja Schneider, Art Department, Cassy, Danny Tenaglia, Eats Everything, Guti, Josh Wink, Paco Osuna, Paul Kalkbrenner and more to an already impressive lineup comprised of artists such as Apollonia, Chus & Ceballos, Dubfire, Jamie Jones, Lee Burridge, Loco Dice, Nicole Moudaber, Richie Hawtin, and Seth Troxler. Also announced are The BPM Festival: Portugal’s showcase lineup as it brings the most in-demand party brands and label showcases to the southwestern edge of the European continent at newly revealed indoor and open air venues.

Presenting over 20 party brands and label showcases from around the world, The BPM Festival: Portugal will take place across six venues in the adjacent coastal municipalities of Portimão and Lagoa. For its daytime programming, Portimão’s newest beach club Blanco Beach will host daily beachfront parties, including Stereo Productions and Lee Burridge’s All Day I Dream on its glistening golden sand while Cloque’s inimitable open-air setting atop limestone cliffs will offer stunning sunset views to the sounds of Hector’s Vatos Locos collective, Nick Curly presents TRUST and more. Steps apart on Portimão’s main pedestrian walkway of Avenida Tomás Cabreira, the nighttime programming introduces newly renovated rooftop venue Oceans Club, for events from the likes of Romania’s SUNRISE and Don’t Be Leftout with Visionquest, and party-ready Katedral nightclub, which will host parties from French label FORM Music and Stefano Noferini’s Deeperfect. For its inaugural edition’s largest events, previously announced daytime beach club NoSoloÁgua will see Brazil’s Warung hosted by Ibiza Voice, Jamie Jones’ globetrotting party brand Paradise and the Portuguese debut of Spanish partystarters elrow with more to be announced, while Lagoa’s Centro de Congressos do Arade will have festival-goers dancing deep into the night for BPM’s signature party YA’AH MUUL hosted by Deep House Amsterdam, Ibiza underground staple ANTS, and much more.

The BPM Festival: Portugal doubled its lineup this year for its first stop in Europe. September 14th to the 17th, the 10-year festival will be bringing electronic music to Portimão and Lagoa, Portugal. The BPM Festival put together an insane artist lineup including over 80 of the world’s top underground talent. Anja Schneider, Cassy, Danny Tenaglia, Guti, Josh Wink, Paco Osuna are just a few additions to this year’s festival on top of big names such as Apollonia, Dubfire, Jamie Jones and Loco Dice. Plus the festival is bringing in some of the top party brands and label showcases at the new indoor and outdoor venues.

The Venue

With over 2 dozen party brands and label showcases from around the world included, there will be six venues next to one another on the coast of Portimão and Lagoa. Blanco beach club will present daily parties on the beach featuring Stereo Productions and All Day I Dream.

Beach club NoSoloÁgua will have festival-goers dancing during the day with Brazil’s Warung hosted by Ibiza Voice, Jamie Jones’ globetrotting party band Paradise and the Portuguese debut of Spanish partystarters elrow with still more to be announced. And, to keep it going well into the night, Lagoa’s Centro de Congressos do Arade will be the place for BPM’s signature party YA’AH MUUL hosted by Deep House Amsterdam, Ibiza underground staple ANTS, and much more.

While at BPM, attendees will be able to watch the sunset listening to Hector’s Vatos Locos collective and more. At the Ocean’s Club, Romania’s SUNRISE and Don’t Be Leftout with Visionquest can be seen while enjoying their brand new rooftop. For late night, parties French label, FORM Music will be hosting at the Katedral nightclub along with Stefano Noferini’s Deeperfect.

With the phase 2 artist lineup and showcase programming released, the anticipation continues to build for the festival brand’s first European edition as part of its global expansion plans.
