A quick tour at Ponce City Market… for a little bit of history and my love of old buildings.
Ponce City Market is a mixed-use development located in a former Sears catalogue facility in Atlanta, with national and local retail anchors, restaurants, a food hall, boutiques and offices, and residential units. The 2.1-million-square-foot (200,000 m2) building, one of the largest by volume in the Southeast United States, was used by Sears, Roebuck and Co. from 1926 to 1987 and later by the City of Atlanta as "City Hall East". Ponce City Market officially opened on August 25, 2014. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2016.

World of Coke - Part 2
It was a great exhibit and my favorite, besides seeing the archives of documents and objects, was the tasting room where you can… guess what?… taste all their different products from around the world.
I keep liking stuff that others didn’t like 😂. My favorite was “Beverly” a product Coca-Cola made for the Italian market but was discontinued in 2009. It is now only produced for the World of Coca Cola.
Beverly is a carbonated soft drink marketed as a non-alcoholic apéritif, that was produced by The Coca-Cola Company for the Italian market, introduced in 1969. An apéritif is a drink consumed before a meal that is believed to help digestion. Following ongoing product consolidation in the Italian market, Beverly was discontinued in 2009. The bitter taste of Beverly has become familiar to many Americans who get a chance to try it at Coca-Cola tasting stations at the World of Coca-Cola museums in Atlanta, Georgia. Staff there have explained the flavoring ingredient as grapefruit rind, which includes intensely bitter components.

As we were leaving my friend found this photo of us… this was one of my first start in craft. We collaged plenty of stuff with old stamps.
Also not the first time a piece of history by our group of friends from our time in Argentina has reemerged this past year ;-)
We look so young… well it was indeed 25 years ago.
Thank you Eric and Leith for being such great hosts. After so many years apart we saw you on our ground in Paris this summer, now on your ground in Atlanta, see you on neutral ground soon.

Dinner downtown.
This is not a Football ring… since the Atlanta Falcons lost both of their Super Bowl. It’s a ring for winning the World Series* titles in baseball in 2021; they also won in 1914, 1957 and 1995. I guess they are better at Baseball than Football
*always won by American teams since there are the only one playing this “World Series”

We couldn’t visit Atlanta and not going to The World of Coca- Cola.
And we got a tour with an “Insider” ;-)
The World of Coca-Cola is a museum located in Atlanta, Georgia, United States, showcasing the history of The Coca-Cola Company. The 20-acre (81,000 m2) complex opened to the public on May 24, 2007, relocating from and replacing the original exhibit, which was founded in 1990 in Underground Atlanta. There are various similar World of Coca-Cola stores in locations such as Las Vegas and Disney Springs.
J trying to steal the formula 😂

Hello Atlanta.
The city we’ve flown to a lot but never stopped at… until today.
Making our way back to Paris with a little less than 48 hours stop-over and friends visit.
