Can't quite get the same kind of gracefulness that he had in Inquisition. Like, he truly looked so king like? It's hard to copy in the new engine. Cassian just looked every part the noble leader of the inquisiton you know? Cassian 'Sprout' Trevelyan, Ostwick born Noble who was sent to the Circle at around seven after he froze his brother's hand solid and left him disabled for life. His sister, Anaïs was so outraged by this she left to join the Templars so she could keep him safe. Cas is the baby of the family, and he was very close to their mother. But magic sickness took her mind long before her body failed her. It ate her from the inside out. The same sickness may take him, but for now it's found an outlet in slowly stripping color from his body? Hard to explain, but when he manifested his magic, his hair was a dark dark burgundy like his sister. The first day his magic lashed out, it left behind the whisper of white hairs behind. It only grew from there. His magic manifests in frost and storm, during In Your Heart Shall Burn - part of the power behind the blizzard was his own incredible emotional turmoil. He leaves behind a dusting of ice everywhere he goes, learning to let his magic suffuse itself outward to keep from having it eat him alive. There's a large gap between him and his brother Maxwell, the ten years making all the difference in how they got along at seven and seventeen ha. His next oldest brother is Heron - a quiet soft-spoken man with a knack for the family orchards and keeping the lands steady. Seeing as the age gap between Heron and Maxwell is only three years, you'd think they'd get along but no. Anaïs is older than Cassian by a year. They were practically twins are small children, attached at the hip they were. Their mother, Eloise Trevelyan, often said that where Cassian was the ever changing and deep sea, then Anaïs was his steadfast fleet of ships that weathered each storm. Cassian was a quiet, sensitive boy, and his big sister was loud for the both of them. Within a week of their mother's lethal diagnosis, the stress of inheriting the Trevelyan nobility and losing his mother left Maxwell terse with everyone - but little Cassian couldn't accept his mother was dying. They got into it at dinner, and in his distraught state Cassian froze Maxwell's hand to the table, froze it pure solid. Maxwell was angry then, but moreso he was just damn sad. His mother was dying, and a week after learning so - they took his baby brother away kicking and screaming. It took a long time before they could reconcile properly. Maxwell and Heron were close for some time, but when Maxwell lost his chance at the Chevalier title - his hand too damaged to lift a pen, let alone his sword, he was angry. Heron was given the title of Lord Trevelyan, acting as the head of the noble name. their father didn't act in this way because Noah married into the Trevelyan's, not the other way around. The entire family parts ways for a long time, before the Inquisition brings them back together. Anaïs leading a troupe of Beaureguard Templars who escape the Red Templars plot - bringing them right to Cassian's door after Twenty-Five years separated.

Due to the threat throughout Thedas, Cassian had his family brought to Skyhold. His mother included. Twenty-five years after her diagnosis, her first fall and bout of sickness, Eloise was nothing like the charming and noble Senior Enchanter she'd been. One day she awoke, and her magic had simply...ceased. It sent waves through the circle, a fear many did not indulge unless the Tranquil were involved. But no, she was of full sound mind when her magic completely vanished from her grasp. Not to say it left her though, which would become her downfall. Eloise could no longer cast or exude magic. It gathered and gathered and the power grew heavier in her body until it began to tear away at her physical form. Because she couldn't cast, but she still had magic, she was allowed to return to the Trevelyan estate, but she had to have a constant Templar Guard. One of the perks of high nobility. Lady Seawright, pardon - Templar Knight, Lady Millicent Eglantine Seawright  was assigned to the Trevelyan family as a permanent guard. She was a stalwart friend to the family for many years, and when Anais was young she even trained the girl how to handle a sword. Lady Seawright joined the Trevelyan's in Skyhold, and for the first time in twenty years she got to meet Anais again. Who still held that childish crush on the older woman, something that would bloom despite the crushing weight of Corypheus and Eloise's decline... Eloise who came to Skyhold as a husk. It was painful for all to see. Cassian did not handle it well, but thankfully he had a good support system - between Cassandra keeping him strong, and Vivienne being his quiet confidant, he manage to make the decision between letting his mother slip away, or making her tranquil. The fight that decision caused was cataclysmic. But in the end, Eloise Trevelyan was surrounded by loved ones when she passed in the night. Cassian is grateful that she held one long enough to meet Cassandra, the woman that he'd fallen madly, stupidly, beautifully in love with. Cassandra sat vigil with him during his Mother's passing, quietly praying for the woman. (Her passing would not be gentle, but they found ways to ease the pain.) The running joke after the fall of Corypheus happens to be the 'Cass' title. Cassian, Cassandra, Cassiopeia, Cassidy. A horrible naming convention but one they stuck to for their two daughters.

Cassian looked up as he saw Dorian striding toward him. He was holding the leather-bound book with two fingers as if it had personally offended him. “Didn’t like it then?” 

“How on earth could you find this entertaining?” Dorian asked and practically threw the book at Cassian. 

“What about the mystery?” Cassian asked. 

“I’d solved in before they finished explaining it,” Dorian said. 

“The setting?” 

“Ah, Ferelden during the Blighs,” Dorian said. “How original.” 

‘But the romance?” Cassian smiled at him. 

Dorian hesitated. “I suppose it wasn’t horrible, but that doesn’t make up for the lack of creativity with the rest of the book.” 

“I suppose we’ve found something else we disagree on,” Cassian said. 

Dorian bit his lip. “We’re developing quite the list.” 

“Couples who agree on everything are boring anyway.” Cassian leaned over to kiss Dorian’s cheek quickly. 

“In that case,” Dorian said as he produced a book seemingly out of nowhere. “I read that horrible monstrosity for you. The least you can do is read this extraordinarily better book for me.” 

“Fair is fair.”

eu to a 2 fios de colocar o Elliot Não-Collin só pra ver no que vai dar mas n tenho certeza ainda.tem um outro oc que eu literalmente só tenho o conceito ainda que to considerando tb mas só vamos ver se eu conseguir regurgitar algo além de “vaga ideia de personalidade” e “wacky hijinks ensues”

tb to com alguns (3) personagens canon que tava pensando e tentar mas são de fandoms que ninguém se interessa por aqui (acho) daí fica meio foda

eu só penso na galerinha do corruptions porque são os que eu tenho aqui então alksdklasjdaskdsjdsd

o da Natalya e do Toni já ta pro mundo ver, ela é uma “mom figure” pra ele e ele é super devoto a ela, eles são extremamente próximos e fariam de tudo um pelo outro.

o Remi e a Sol também, eles são “colegamigos”, ele insiste que eles são super amigos e ela sempre “a gente trabalha junto” (mas no fundo ela gosta dele. bem no fundo -q). ele enche o saco dela quando eles estão trabalhando , ela enche o saco dele em qualquer outro momento e a vida segue lmao

o Remi e o Jules também tem uma amizade. interessante (-q). considerando que eu tenho uma pasta inteira pro group chat deles só falando merda (falando do achlys -q), eles são bem próximos mesmo que quase não se vejam. se o Remi se mete em merdas que tecnicamente não são relacionadas ao trabalho ele vai na “oficina” do Jules ao invés de no médico dele.

tirando isso eu não tenho nada muito definido mas o Remi e o Cecil provavelmente se conhecem lmao considerando que eles 2 trabalham pra Medusa. o Remi acha o Cecil fofo (e quem não????) e interessante, o Cecil não sabe muito o que pensar do Remi além de mild aprehension. Remi provavelmente sentiria um instinto de proteger o Cecil se eles fossem mais próximos, tho.eu diria que o Cassian e a Natalya possivelmente se conhecem??? o Cassian tem contatinhos. muitos tipos de contatinhos. contatinhos bem ilegais.

o remi e o finn provavelmente teriam uma bela duma amizade colorida também, also. o finn é ansiedade no palito, sim, mas veja bem a história dele toda é que ele ta nessa situação fodida pq ele n conseguiu manter o dele dentro das calças e dormiu com o Trevelyan você acha que ele tem algum alto controle -q

Thanks so much for the prompt! This one was more difficult because I couldn’t decide which Inquisitor to use. But then I felt Freya and Cassian would not get along well, at least not initially. But Dorian and Zevran would actually hit off. So thus this was born. Turned out a little different but the general theme’s still the same. (I hope that’s all right!)

It was meant to be--actually Zevran had no idea what it was meant to be. His Warden didn’t seem particularly interested in becoming friends with the guy they called Inquisitor, nor did she feel a need to prove herself. 

But apparently when all the world (and social media) are after their two favorite heroes to meet, you meet. Zevran didn’t really understand it, but he’s still new to actually having an online presence. 

This meeting was at a coffee shop, some pretentious place that the Inquisitor--Cassian had suggested and a place where he fit right in. He was just as cocky as they had expected, but it wasn’t without it’s charm as well. The biggest surprise was the fact that his lover was, not only a man, but a Tevinter mage. Zevran had to give him credit for not caring what the rest of the world thought of him. 

He turned his gaze to Freya who was now sharing stories with Cassian on all their heroic deeds. It was less of a polite exchange and more of a competition that Zevran was having trouble understanding the rules for. 

“They do seem to be cut of a similar cloth, don’t you agree?” the Inquisitor’s lover said. Dorian. Zevran had to remember his name. 

“How do you mean?” Zevran asked. 

“Both of them, running headlong into danger, never once thinking of the fact that they’re nor invincible,” Dorian asked. 

“Hmm,” Zevran said. “I suppose you’re right.”

“How long have you been with the Warden?” Dorian asked after Cassian started telling about the time he walked in the fade. 

“Over ten years now,” Zevran said, feeling wistful and nostalgic. “Not killing her was the greatest thing to ever happen to me.” 

“I’d assume she’d agree,” Dorian said with a chuckle. 

Zevran didn’t reply because it didn’t need one. 

“Does it ever get any easier?” Dorian asked, little creases appearing around his mouth. 

“No,” Zevran said truthfully. “Watching her through herself headfirst into danger is always difficult. I always worry that one time she won’t get up again. Or that she’ll steal off in the middle of the night to head into the Deep Roads.”

“I forgot about that,” Dorian said. 

“Most people do,” Zevran said. “All I can do is be there for her and fight alongside her. It’s the only way I can stay sane knowing that she’s purposely putting herself in danger. It’s all I can suggest to you.” 

“Yeah,” Dorian said. “It’s always hardest when he goes off on his own or with another group.”

“It’s the not knowing what’s happening,” Zevran agreed. “One time, back during the blight, she left with a few others and didn’t return for over two months. She’s gotten stranded in Orzammar fighting a championship tournament and crowning a king.” 

“How did you manage that long?” Dorian asked. 

“Not well,” Zevran said. “I took a few side jobs and had to keep having Morrigan stop me from running off to find her. Eventually she was able to send a messenger out to our camp and let us know what had happened.” 

“I’ve been crafting a type of communication crystal,” Dorian said quietly. “For when we have to be parted.” 

“Have you? I don’t imagine he’d keep you behind often. A powerful, handsome mage like you?” Zevran asked. 

Dorian laughed. “Not often. Occasionally having a Tevinter mage in your midst causes more problems for him.” 

“But he loves the Tevinter mage,” Zevran said. 

“Doesn’t mean everyone else does,” Dorian said with a sad smile. 

“I think that crystal idea sounds very smart,” Zevran said, trying to cheer the man back up. “And that would work wonders for when you’re separated.” 

“I hope so,” Dorian said. “You think we should stop them?” 

Zevran glanced back to where Cassian and Freya were comparing scars now. “I think we should let them be a while yet, yes? They seem happy.” 

“As happy as two people trying to best the other with their tales of heroism and bravado could be, I suppose,” Dorian said. 

“As people who love them, we should let them enjoy their fun,” Zevran said. 

Dorian reached into his bag to pull out a small jar of something. “Perhaps we could have a little fun of our own as they finish their contest.” 

Zevran laughed as he watched Dorian pour half the contents into his cup before pouring the rest into Zevran’s. “Wine?” 

“Tevinter wine,” Dorian said. 

Zevran held his cup up to toast. “To the brave souls that we’ve chosen to love.” 

“Despite the constant state of terror they put us in,” Dorian finished.

for the horrific headcanons: ✂ If they had to choose one weapon to carry forever, what would it be?

Cassian Tabris will always have a sword with him, but he never developed a particular attachment to any specific one. It’s to risky anyway, if he gets captured he’s not going to waste his escape time trying to find a stupid sword when he could be getting the hell out of dodge. Any old sword will do. 

Neerah Trevelyan would never admit it, but she always wanted her grandfather’s sword, unfortunately that was left to her oldest brother, who has since passed away. She would never ask for it, she’s to angry at her family to admit she wants anything from them, and they are to prideful to offer.

- His nickname being 'Sprout' comes from Varric. Cas didn't quite get it for a while, but Varric explained that the mage was like the first green sprout after winter, creeping up through the snow. -He's close with everyone in the Inquisition, and it's hard to be mad at the man. He's soft spoken, regal. Being in the same room as him makes you stand taller. -But he also jokes, and plays, and leaves snowflakes dancing in the air. -Close to Dorian, begs the man to hear his Father out one time.. those earnest sad eyes begging the mage, "You never know when the last moment will come...don't let it approach with regrets heavy on your tongue." -VERY close to Vivienne. For a brief while, they glanced off each other in the Ostwick Circle. She's older than him, and more talented for the Game, so it saddened him to see her go. He was a lot of respect for her, and she him. She frets about him constantly. (Rarely seen in game, if you have a high approval from Vivienne when going into Skyhold, she interrogates your Inquisitor on their health, their emotions. She's very maternal in the entire chat. She becomes something of an Aunt to him.) -With the other members of the Inner Circle, he's close. Varric and him have a love for writing, he jokes with Sera and Bull, spars and works out noble causes with Blackwall. He's gentle with Cole, who reminds me deeply of Heron and his Mother. -Of course, Cassandra. He's gone for her the moment she hits him to be honest. Her grace, her charm, and her awkwardness endears him so fast he is whipped. -Solas though. He likes to think they were friends. He saw the world, magic, in the same way as the elf. It was nature, it was ineffable. He was enthralled by Solas' stories... the betrayal leaves him so broken for a time, having lost another person he cared about so soon... When the Inquisition is made to decide: he decides to keep it together. He sees a world that desperately needs some form of stability. It's too soon for them to disband, too soon to just dissipate such a major political powerhouse. He'd rather slowly disperse the power, give out some of their resources to different factions, assign leaders where needed, etc. The choice for Divine is difficult. While he'd support Cassandra fully, it'd break his heart with a smile to let her go. He'd vow to remain close by, a stalwart guard. Leliana he would also support, but as she's hardened he has some gentle concerns about her brutality. The world is already tender, he worries she would bully it a tad too much (even if she isn't wrong to do so..) And bless, he loves Vivienne, he does... but he can't see her succeeding. For the same reason Dorian upsets him years on with the Lucerni. Both have such ambition, but both falter when the opposition gets violent with them-- he worries Vivienne would lose herself to the Game, that her brutal instincts would alienate her even more than she already is. In the end, he supports Leliana, who he tries to help gentle correct the Chantry. Cass is a devout Andrastian, against all he's seen. He simply finds peace in the practice of the Chant. This makes him close to Cullen, who regardless of the shared sentiment - he finds a lot of kinship with the man. Both favoring their quiet evenings, both shepherding the masses with tired smiles. After the Inquisition loosens it's hold, he and Cassandra help Cullen in his efforts to rehabilitate Templars: the first two on the list, being Anais and Millicent. He never was pleased his sister took the oaths, the lyrium, so he makes a hard effort to help her be free of it. The only one left is Josephine, his beloved Ambassador... his fellow gossip monger. They sit for tea and yap for hours, he adores her enthusiasm for the world, and he yearns to travel the way she has. They tit for tat with tea cakes and chocolate and conspire constantly on how best to present the Inquisition. Given the chance, he'd give Solas a chance. He considers them friends, and he sees Solas for what he is: lonely. To be lonely, is the greatest horror one can face.

Can't quite get the same kind of gracefulness that he had in Inquisition. Like, he truly looked so king like? It's hard to copy in the new engine. Cassian just looked every part the noble leader of the inquisiton you know? Cassian 'Sprout' Trevelyan, Ostwick born Noble who was sent to the Circle at around seven after he froze his brother's hand solid and left him disabled for life. His sister, Anaïs was so outraged by this she left to join the Templars so she could keep him safe. Cas is the baby of the family, and he was very close to their mother. But magic sickness took her mind long before her body failed her. It ate her from the inside out. The same sickness may take him, but for now it's found an outlet in slowly stripping color from his body? Hard to explain, but when he manifested his magic, his hair was a dark dark burgundy like his sister. The first day his magic lashed out, it left behind the whisper of white hairs behind. It only grew from there. His magic manifests in frost and storm, during In Your Heart Shall Burn - part of the power behind the blizzard was his own incredible emotional turmoil. He leaves behind a dusting of ice everywhere he goes, learning to let his magic suffuse itself outward to keep from having it eat him alive. There's a large gap between him and his brother Maxwell, the ten years making all the difference in how they got along at seven and seventeen ha. His next oldest brother is Heron - a quiet soft-spoken man with a knack for the family orchards and keeping the lands steady. Seeing as the age gap between Heron and Maxwell is only three years, you'd think they'd get along but no. Anaïs is older than Cassian by a year. They were practically twins are small children, attached at the hip they were. Their mother, Eloise Trevelyan, often said that where Cassian was the ever changing and deep sea, then Anaïs was his steadfast fleet of ships that weathered each storm. Cassian was a quiet, sensitive boy, and his big sister was loud for the both of them. Within a week of their mother's lethal diagnosis, the stress of inheriting the Trevelyan nobility and losing his mother left Maxwell terse with everyone - but little Cassian couldn't accept his mother was dying. They got into it at dinner, and in his distraught state Cassian froze Maxwell's hand to the table, froze it pure solid. Maxwell was angry then, but moreso he was just damn sad. His mother was dying, and a week after learning so - they took his baby brother away kicking and screaming. It took a long time before they could reconcile properly. Maxwell and Heron were close for some time, but when Maxwell lost his chance at the Chevalier title - his hand too damaged to lift a pen, let alone his sword, he was angry. Heron was given the title of Lord Trevelyan, acting as the head of the noble name. their father didn't act in this way because Noah married into the Trevelyan's, not the other way around. The entire family parts ways for a long time, before the Inquisition brings them back together. Anaïs leading a troupe of Beaureguard Templars who escape the Red Templars plot - bringing them right to Cassian's door after Twenty-Five years separated.

Due to the threat throughout Thedas, Cassian had his family brought to Skyhold. His mother included. Twenty-five years after her diagnosis, her first fall and bout of sickness, Eloise was nothing like the charming and noble Senior Enchanter she'd been. One day she awoke, and her magic had simply...ceased. It sent waves through the circle, a fear many did not indulge unless the Tranquil were involved. But no, she was of full sound mind when her magic completely vanished from her grasp. Not to say it left her though, which would become her downfall. Eloise could no longer cast or exude magic. It gathered and gathered and the power grew heavier in her body until it began to tear away at her physical form. Because she couldn't cast, but she still had magic, she was allowed to return to the Trevelyan estate, but she had to have a constant Templar Guard. One of the perks of high nobility. Lady Seawright, pardon - Templar Knight, Lady Millicent Eglantine Seawright  was assigned to the Trevelyan family as a permanent guard. She was a stalwart friend to the family for many years, and when Anais was young she even trained the girl how to handle a sword. Lady Seawright joined the Trevelyan's in Skyhold, and for the first time in twenty years she got to meet Anais again. Who still held that childish crush on the older woman, something that would bloom despite the crushing weight of Corypheus and Eloise's decline... Eloise who came to Skyhold as a husk. It was painful for all to see. Cassian did not handle it well, but thankfully he had a good support system - between Cassandra keeping him strong, and Vivienne being his quiet confidant, he manage to make the decision between letting his mother slip away, or making her tranquil. The fight that decision caused was cataclysmic. But in the end, Eloise Trevelyan was surrounded by loved ones when she passed in the night. Cassian is grateful that she held one long enough to meet Cassandra, the woman that he'd fallen madly, stupidly, beautifully in love with. Cassandra sat vigil with him during his Mother's passing, quietly praying for the woman. (Her passing would not be gentle, but they found ways to ease the pain.) The running joke after the fall of Corypheus happens to be the 'Cass' title. Cassian, Cassandra, Cassiopeia, Cassidy. A horrible naming convention but one they stuck to for their two daughters.
