In TMNT 2012 canon, April mentions she has an aunt that she was living with during the course of season 1 when her dad was kidnapped by the Kraang.
When we meet Casey we learn that he has a dad and a little sister, with a mom who is hinted to be out of the picture (most likely divorce).
I’m still so upset that the 2012 series never explored April and Casey’s personal lives more and we never got to meet their families. I would’ve love to have met April’s aunt and Casey’s little sister!

Hard agree! Like they mention her so often I was really convinced we were going to see her at some point. Even if she wasn’t a recurring character or someone who is relevant to the plot, it just would’ve been nice to know what she and Casey’s dad look like.
Missed opportunity to have her cameo in the Halloween episode. The opening literally had April and Casey trick or treating, why couldn’t Casey’s sister be with them too? Idk know about yall but when I was little my older brother was always forced to have me tag along with him and his friends when trick or treating cause my mom had to stay home to handle the trick or treaters. So it be funny that Casey’s sister tagged along cause Casey’s dad told him to look after her while he stays home, but then the monsters attack and she gets turned into a vampire which leads to Casey getting turned as well.
Personally I headcanon her to be named Angelica (Angel for short) and she’s like 12 years old, has black hair with twin pigtails and is just rowdy and wild as her big brother. I also HC Casey’s dad’s name to be Arnold.
I still believe it's a crime that we never met 2012 casey's little sister.

I love how we as a fandom, despite never meeting Casey’s little sister in TMNT 2012 and not even knowing her name, we’ve all agreed that her name is most likely Angelica (“Angel” for short).

Casey’s Family (2012 Headcanon)
I consider it a CRIME that we never got to meet Casey’s family. They were always mentioned but never seen.
All we know is that he lives with his dad and his little sister (and possibly hinting that his parents are divorced)
So I’m gonna give my headcanons on Casey family, mainly his dad and sister:
When there are mission (aka episodes) that Casey is not in, its because Casey and his sister are visiting their mother out of town. Their dad has custody but they always visit their mom every so often.
Casey’s little sister’s name is Angelica but she goes by the nickname “Angel” (comic/03 reference). She’s younger than the turtle, being 12 years old, and she’s the tomboy type. Angel is just as reckless as Casey but more mature than him in a way. She likes to tease him constantly and be a brat, but she means well. She likes skateboarding and video games.
Angel is aware of Casey’s double life as a vigilante and his mutant friends long before he even told her the truth.
Angel always teases April and Casey, saying they act like an old married couple. She bursted out laughing when she found out Casey was ‘losing’ April to a turtle.
After the Tatsu fight in Season 5 that sent Casey to the hospital, his dad and sister came to visit him, wondering how he got so badly hurt. That was when Casey had to tell his family the truth about his secret life and his mutant friends that he and April hang out with all the time.
When Casey’s family finally did meet the turtles, they weren’t that surprised, saying “They’re not the weirdest thing you brought into this house.”
Casey’s dad is a sketchy business man so he always working, having Casey in charge of Angel most of the time. Casey’s dad, personality wise, is a mix of Pam Puckett (ICarly) and Grunkle Stan (Gravity Falls), aggressive, a gambler/con-man, and a bit immature at times but he’s still a good father who does his best to put his family first.
Raph thinks Casey’s dad is a badass and looks up to him as a role model. They actually get along really well.
Angel likes to pick on Raph cause seeing him get angry is funny to her, meanwhile Mikey and her are good friends, mainly for their love of skateboarding.
Casey’s dad likes the turtles and actually thinks Casey is less likely to get into trouble (and get arrested) if he’s hanging out with Raph and his brothers.
