“Joel!” You said with a small grin, tugging on on his bare, tanned forearm gently towards the strawberry stand set up in the middle of the Austin Texas farmers market.
He grunted out a response, dark shaded sunglasses concealing his eyes from the blinding Texas sun. “Comin’, baby love.”
He stepped in stride with you, watching as you grabbed a carton of freshly picked strawberries, ripe, ruby red and just begging to be eaten.
“Don’t these look delicious? There’s nothing like a perfectly ripe strawberry on a hot summer's day!” You reach into the carton, plucking the biggest strawberry from the bunch, sinking your teeth into the vibrant, juicy flesh of the fruit, a dribble of crimson juice dribbles down your chin, the column of your neck and the space between your covered breasts.
Joel shamelessly watches the stray juice dribble all the way down, a parched look on his face, tongue darting out to lick his lips. He knows that your action of eating the fruit was inherently harmless, but the way you’re now sizing him up? Well, that’s a whole other story.
“Looks delicious, baby love.” He rasps low, and if you weren’t in public right now, he would have dragged his tongue from between the valley of your breasts and right up to your pretty velvet plush lips.
“You want to have a taste?” Your lips curve upwards into a grin, knowing just how riled up your innocent antics make your man.
“M’parched for one, baby love.” He clears his throat, tearing his gaze from you momentarily to reach for his wallet, pulling out more than enough cash for a single carton of strawberries and hands it to the fruit stand clerk.
He tucks his wallet back into his pocket and before you even get a peep out, he leans down towards your outstretched hand, fingers still gently holding the stem of the strawberry. He bites down on the half bitten fruit, eyes locked on yours in a challenging gaze, lips brushing the underside of your fingertips leaving you the one suddenly feeling parched.
“Delicious, sweet, n’juicy. Jus’ like you, baby love.” He whispers the last bit, shooting you a subtle wink.
Damn him.
Joel: 1 | baby love: 0

domestic shorts for transman vio vidow
Vio yawned and stretched up, making Shadow glance over. It was finally about two in the morning. Their little apartment was dark with only a salt lamp lighting the room and some fairy lights above the shuttered windows. Vio’s back made a satisfying crunch-pop and he let the position go. He made a satisfied groan.
“I told you not to sit like that for so long,” Shadow was not treating his own back any better, laying on the bed on his stomach playing a hand held game.
“Yeah, yeah.” he huffed and stripped off to his boxers. Vio flopped down next to him, bouncing the bed a bit to be dramatic.
“How’s the scar cream working for you?” Shadow put the game down, resting his head in the palm of his hand to look over. “You mentioned wanting it?”
Vio laid on his back and hummed. “Not bad,”
“You know I don’t care about that, right?”
“I know. I wanted to.”
“I’m just making sure,” Shadow pokes his cheek with his black painted fingernail. “Blue invited us to the beach this weekend. Wanna go shopping for swim trunks tomorrow? I don’t have a pair either.”
“Yeah, that sounds nice.” He stared up at the ceiling. “I could use a few things too, now that I don’t need to account for boob size in my wardrobe.” He grinned.
Shadow kissed him softly. “Fuck yeah ya don’t!” He was so supportive, it made Vio feel amazing. “Now get some sleep, you heathen.”
~~~~
It was finally summer!!
Everyone was surrounding a grocery cart at the local market shopping. They had decided to have a cookout picnic style. The shorts and t-shirts have been broken out.
Red and Shadow were grabbing produce: peppers, watermelon, onions, corn and such. They went aisle to aisle grabbing buns and snacks and cookies. Tons of unnecessary flirting between Shadow and Vio the whole time, of course.
“Oh, Shadow! Get the oatmeal creampies, Zelda likes that brand.”
“I’ll give you an oatmeal creampie.”
“Hhaha shut the fuck up, you’re gross! That didn’t even work.” Vio laughed. The fact that he was ace only made the joke funnier to him.
Their group had a huge cookout on the beach. Vio wearing his swim shorts for the first time. He even felt comfortable being topless for swimming. They ended up sharing with tons of the townspeople and friends having gotten way too much food and snacks.
~~~
Shadow snickered behind his boyfriend and grabbed his bent over ass. He cackled as he squealed and smacked his hands.
“You’re a dick! You scared the shit out of me!” He crossed his arms.
He laughed and sat down in his desk chair. “Whatcha lookin for?”
Vio was digging a storage bin. “I thought I had more notebooks.”
“Ahhh, green bin.” Vio raised a brow and checked. He found them.
“Huh.” He picked one up and slid the bins back into the closet. “Thanks, love.” He kissed him on the cheek as he passed by. “Want anything from the store?”
“Ooo yeah more of the chai coffee mix in the carton? Pleaaaaaseeeee?” Shadow perked up.
“Haha, sure thing.” He smiled as he stepped into the living room and kitchen to make his list. Shadow was going to sweat coffee if he kept at it. Caffeine addict.

It has become an annual tradition for me to help Antonia put together her farmer's market booth, where she sells all of the fruits, vegetables, and homemade goods that her family's community farm has produced over the past year. Every year, the harvest brings more and more goods. But this autumn, she has outgrown the farmer's market, and is now selling at a roadside stand!
Tumblr media
Antonia is ten years old in 1978, when she is inspired by the American Indian Movement to help establish a community farm on land her family owns. It's been a huge success. It has strengthened bonds between friends and neighbors as they all care for each other and make sure that nobody goes hungry.
Tumblr media
Whatever is left over after everyone is fed, is then sold at the roadside stand. Antonia is also supplementing with a few special handmade extras that help bring in a little more money. The money will help pay for everything needed to help Snow Mountain Farm grow bigger and better.
Tumblr media
Antonia is so proud of what the fields and orchards have grown.
Tumblr media
Just look at the size of some of these pumpkins!
Under the cut, Antonia will give you an up-close look at what she's selling....
Everything seen here was either made by me, harvested from the wild, or purchased. (See if you can guess which ones were handmade/bought/gathered!)
Tumblr media
The gourd and squash harvest was abundant this year. Antonia managed to coax the garden into producing a few giant pumpkins.
Tumblr media
Lots of other fruits thrived as well!
Tumblr media
Pears are new this year.
Tumblr media
Beautiful pink plums are also new.
Tumblr media
Apples are a returning favorite. There are three varieties this year: sweet yellow apples, tart green apples, and a red striped variety that has its own unique flavor.
Tumblr media
In the front row are apples, plums, chiles, and pears. On the shelf there are fresh flowers and packaged seeds, various fruit jams, honey, apple cider, dried ground herbs, potted herb seedlings, packaged seeds, and bottles of apple cider.
Tumblr media
Up on the shelf there are several varieties of jam: rose petal, peach, grape, prickly pear, and strawberry. Next to them is honey that the farm's bees made from the local wildflowers. The apple cider is made from apples grown in the farm's orchard.
Tumblr media
One particular farmer is very gifted in the art of raising flowers. Here you can buy fresh cut flowers, or seedlings for your own garden.
Tumblr media
Fruit and vegetable seedlings or seeds are also for sale.
Tumblr media
On the checkout counter, Antonia is selling popcorn and apple cider donuts. Directly below the donuts are cartons of eggs, which include white, brown, and speckled eggs.
Tumblr media
Below the checkout counter is the small shelf offering some smaller items. In the plastic bags are freshly made tamales, which are like dumplings of meat, veggies, beans, or cheese mixed with a corn dough and steamed inside corn husks. To the right are two wheels of goat's milk cheese. In the middle are skeins of yarn dyed with natural sources, like prickly pear fruits and cabbage leaves. Next to those are bars of soap, in sagebrush or rose petal scent. And on the right end of the shelf are bagged pine nuts, gathered from the wild.
Below that is more produce! On the left, colored corn. In the crates there are potatoes, cherries, strawberries, tomatoes, peaches, and cauliflower.
Tumblr media
Antonia is especially proud of the fancy colored corn she has grown. It's fun to open the ears and see what colors the kernels are!
Next to that are giant sunflowers. Above that are the pretty gourds and squashes.
Tumblr media
On the bench are some lovely watermelons. And surrounding those are even more pumpkins and squash!
Tumblr media
These, too, emerged in all sorts of different colors and shapes. Antonia lets the different varieties cross pollinate, so that the appearances of the resulting pumpkins are a surprise.
Tumblr media
Thanks for stopping by! Here, take a sunflower home with you!

Have you worked out a system for currency in Ebbott?
I have! It goes by copper, silver and gold coins!
Coppers are like the pennies, silvers work as a 50 cent piece and gold as the dollars.
So 50 copper to a silver, or 100 copper to a gold
And 2 silver to a gold.
Gold pieces come in 1 and 5 coins. Higher than that is paper money which comes in 10, 20, 50, 100, 1000 and 10000 bills.
Compared to American money, one gold is worth about 1.25 American dollars.
The coins themselves have different sizes and shapes too. Coppers are smallest and circular, silvers are the same size as gold, like a quarter, and circular. Gold is a diamond shape and the same size as a silver and a 5 gold is an eight point star shape, the same size as a silver and normal gold.
The 5, 20, 50 and 100 G bills are also different sizes from smallest to largest. Anything worth more than a 100 is the same size as the hundred.
The silver and copper coins depict an echo flower while the gold coins depict a golden flower. The bills all have the flag of ebott and both flowers on them. Monsters don’t like having anyone’s portrait on their money.
And here are some average prices of common items to kinda show how things cost in ebott!
Gallon of milk: 1 gold and 5 copper
Gallon of gas: 2 gold
Carton of eggs: 1 gold 10 copper
Bag of crab apples: 1 silver
Bag of potatoes: 30 silver
Sack of flour: 1 silver 10 copper
Sack of dried crickets: 25 copper
Fresh loaf of bread: 3 gold 35 silver
The average Jeans/slacks: 125-150 gold
Tshirt: 50-70 gold
4 bedroom House: 200,000 gold
Average rent in ebott city: 300 gold per month (gets much lower outside of major cities)
In ebott, most basic groceries, like fresh fruit veg and insects are dirt cheap. Ebott is self sufficient in feeding the population making the food situation very nice for every one.
Housing is also in a good spot right now with homes being built all the time. Although it’s more common still for generational homes. Most monsters will buy, then build onto that property to include more family like their children’s spouses and grand children rather than said kids leave and buy their own homes.
Clothing however is very expensive since mass production is too hard to do. With the diversity in monster bodies and sizes, and the buyers market just isn’t big enough to make it so, so clothing has to be tailored and hand made.

A salmonella outbreak linked to recalled eggs has sickened 65 people in nine states, U.S. health officials said. As of Friday, 24 people had been hospitalized, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. No deaths were reported. The recalled eggs came from Milo’s Poultry Farms and were distributed to Wisconsin, Illinois and Michigan, the CDC said. Eggs labeled “Milo’s Poultry Farms” and “Tony’s Fresh Market” are subject to the recall, which was announced on Friday, because they may be contaminated with salmonella, a bacteria that can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections, the Food and Drug Administration said. The recall includes all carton sizes and expiration dates. People fell ill between May 23 and Aug. 10. Most of the illnesses are concentrated in Wisconsin and Illinois. People also reported illnesses in California, Utah, Colorado, Minnesota, Iowa, Michigan and Virginia. The actual number of sicknesses in the outbreak is likely much higher than the number reported, and may extend to other states, the CDC said.

Eating strawberries in a dream
The last time I saw you We walked around a farmer's market In a dream It was dark and I wanted strawberries I smelled the cartons and They smelled like nothing But you picked up the biggest ones Apple sized strawberries And tasted them there in the market You took big bites out of several Like "This is how you can tell if strawberries are good or not. You have to bite them, you have to taste them." I don't know how the strawberries tasted To you, in my dream But you looked like you enjoyed them And I enjoyed that

My first crush, Hallie Mills.
In third grade I was dorky. Spending my time overturning rocks and hopping in creeks. I never had an affinity for team based sports no matter how my parents marketed them to me.
At the start of the year I was happy to have my best friend, Stephen Highmore, in the same class as me.
He was the sporty one of the two of us, playing tee-ball, soccer, and most importantly, Stephen was the fastest kid in the grade.
Stephen’s house was surrounded by forest and became the destination for almost all of our adventures. Stephen was an only child with a divorced mother who was always at work. He lived in a nicely sized house along with his grandparents who, after retiring from their position of lawyer and professor, spent their days sitting in the study reading old law books. Every few weeks Stephen’s eccentric artist of an uncle would take up residence in his basement studio and hole away working on meaningless projects. Given that Stephen’s father moved to Vermont after the divorce he was not around at all.
As you can see, Stephen’s house was a kingdom of no supervision.
One summer Stephen discovered his uncle’s hidden studio-stash of illicit items. Being the unruly boys we so often were, the stash of contraband became our main source of entertainment for years to come. Ignoring the cartons of cigarettes, oddly scented vase, and half finished bottles of various liquors, we found the most usefulness in the colorful array of lighters. After strategically stealing two of the Bic lighters, we would fill our pockets with action figures and walk into the woods in Stephen's backyard. For hours we would watch the plastic figures burn into nothing more than a bulbous puddle of carcinogens.
Still I wonder what has had more effect on my health between the cowboy killer cigarettes I smoke or the black stringy plastic smoke I inhaled throughout the years of our friendship.
Stephen’s mother, Heather, was a lovely caring woman. she would never hesitate in giving me a ride to my dreaded sports practices or letting me spend the night at their house. On special occasions Heather would load Stephen and I into her Subaru Outback that was coated in dog hair. We would drive to a diner to meet her “friend”, who later Heather revealed, through a post on facebook, was her partner. Our drive would continue deep into New Jersey to a farm she worked at. Stephen and I would spend our days as any boys with few rules would, catching frogs, subjecting ant hills to nuclear levels of devastation, and playing with the horse whips we would sneak from the barn. My days during this time were care free and simple. No concepts of money, the future, or women clouded my innocent view of the world.
Of course, this all changed when Hallie Mills was put into Stephen and my 3rd grade class. Hallie was a pigtailed, olive skinned, athletic girl who’s hand worked on a spring mechanism when the teacher asked questions in class. It was love at first sight, or, the equivalent for a third grader who still assumed babies were left for families on doorsteps. Without the faintest idea of how to garner the attention of this sweet girl I had heart eyes for, I relied on the age old technique of throwing wood chips and running away. The results were lackluster to say the least.
One icy winter Saturday after Stephen and I had been sledding on the hill in his front yard, Stephen taught me a secret of the world which firmly embedded itself into my developing brain, pornography. Still damp from melted snow with rosy wind burned cheeks, Stephen took me into his mothers office and signed himself in as a guest on her desktop.
“Wanna see something?”
The proposition was seemingly normal, but the feverish grin that took over his face told a more devient tale.
Sitting shoulder to shoulder and hip to hip on Heather Highmore’s office chair we explored the filth that hid in plain sight on the internet.
‘MILF takes HUGE cock’
‘Interracial BLOWJOB’
‘ANAL ADVENTURE’
‘Amature GANGBANG’
In an attempt to seem cool I acted as though these titles were old news to me. To Stephen, I had a long history with internet porn. In reality, my perception of women and brain chemistry changed forever at this exact moment, for the worse. As we watched in silent awe my mouth watered and blood pressure hit critical rates.
As soon as I started feeling the new sensation of tightness in my underpants, Heather came home.
Stephen then taught me another vitally important lesson in 5 quick steps…
how to clear a computer’s search history.
In an attempt to act normal, we donned our snow gear. Still sopping wet from our sledding expedition, we stepped into the cold, snowy, pornless wooded area behind Stephen’s house. Uncomfortable speechlessness fell onto us like a bookshelf onto the curious baby of negligent parents.
With the surrounding world dampened by the lush snow, our trudging foot steps crunched intrepidly into our eardrums.
I was picturing frames from the videos we had watched. More likely than not, Stephen was doing the same.
We walked in imaginative silence for a while until plopping ourselves down in a snowless divet in the ground, formed and sheltered by the roots of a fallen oak.
Stephen broke the silence.
“Have you ever jacked off?”
I answered the question with quizzical eyebrow movements.
Stephen continued “It’s when you watch porn and rub your… you know.” he sealed the statement with a suggestive hand wave.
“Oh. I haven’t.” I said, feeling my ears heat up to the point I thought it would bring upon an early spring.
Stephen and I were still best friends with no care in the world.
In fact, this instant of sitting quietly in the frozen dirt, our heads swimming with smut, would be the closest we had ever been and sadly the closest we would ever be.
“Don’t tell anyone, but I have a crush on Hallie Mills. Do you remember her? The girl in our class?” Stephen kept a locked gaze on his snow covered boots.
The realization of what Stephen had said hit my gut with the speed and precision of a peregrine falcon striking a pigeon out of the air. Of course I knew who she was, I was absolutely in love with her, or at least as in love with her as a third grader who just discovered sex could be.
My stomach pushed itself forcefully into the back of my throat, almost cutting off my ability to breathe, a feeling familiar to me now, jealousy.
I managed to swallow my digestive tract back into its rightful location.
I tried to say something as anger and sadness fought for their place in the forefront of my next words, both became tired and plaintive. Self-pity took the helm.
“So do I.”
The words slid off of my tongue and were seemingly frozen by the cold air, hanging motionless between my mouth and Stephen’s ears. A second passed, my words thawed, another second passed, and Stephen spoke the final nails into our friendship's coffin.
“You know she likes me right? You aren’t sporty enough for Hallie, and your haircut is stupid.”
My head spun for the next two days.
I couldn’t argue with Stephen that my haircut was stupid. I had skipped out on actual haircuts for the last couple of years, letting my brown hair grow long, only occasionally I’d have my mother’s hair stylist thin out the mass of thick hair and shorten my bangs to keep hair out of my eyes. My odd haircut routine led to something that resembled a mullet with less appeal, more awkward cowlicks, and a worse shape. My hair swallowed my neck, nearly perfectly matching the width of my shoulders giving my skinny frame the appearance of explorative plants growing from a hanging pot, my lanky legs mimicking the spindly vines searching for support. It didn't help that I almost exclusively wore very skinny jeans that were ripped at the knee.
I thought they made me look like a cool skater kid. Sadly, they only reinforced the fragile plant look as the ripped threads mimicked desperate roots in arid waterless ground.
I walked with an air of timidness as though everyone and everything was out to get me. My self esteem was nonexistent at such an early age, pushing me deeper and deeper into a shell of shelf hatred. The only reason one would consider me an ‘old soul’ or ‘ahead of my years’ would be because at only 9 years old, I had the self hate and angst of a 17 year old who just discovered the smiths.
Stephen, Hallie, and I still had class together for the remainder of the year. Stephen and I still considered one another friends, but the friendship was strained by the love triangle. We fought over Hallie endlessly. Our time hanging out was no longer filled with boyish exploration, but instead discussion of who will make the next move. Not only did Hallie definitively like Stephen back. She made it very clear, with messages passed by her friends, that she did not like me at all and found me quite unattractive.
Those whispered words from the girls have never left my ears, no matter who I become they will be with me.
Every month my teacher, Mrs. Langine, would reassign the seating arrangements in class as a way for everyone to get to know one another. Seating was announced like an NBA draft, when your name got called you would go and sit in the chair closest to where the teacher was standing. This was your new seat. The second to last switch was where my active pursuit for Hallie’s heart turned into me wallowing in puddles of dejection.
Mrs. Langine began to call out names one by one.
“Rebecca.”
She takes a step to the right, “Matt.”
Another step, “Hallie.”
My heart skipped a beat, if my name was called I would finally have a chance to get to show Hallie that I wasn’t the ugly weird kid she so vocally saw me as. My eyes were pinpoint focussed on Mrs. Langine's lips. My ears waited anticipatedly for my name to be called. In a second of over confidence, I picked up my backpack as preparation to take my rightful seat next to my love.
“Stephen.”
Mrs. Langine threw his name out there with an overly casual nature. It was as if she didn’t care at all of the destruction she caused to my naive heart.
Stephen took his seat and smirked in my direction.
My young brain flitted through emotions and phrases trying to pin down the best one to fit this exact moment. “Dang you” my brain thought, the third grade equivalent of a slur, the worst word I knew.
“Dang you.”
The school year went on.
I made other friends while ignoring the ‘relationship’ Stephen and Hallie had gotten into. I also made a huge effort to ignore their mean remarks about how skinny jeans are “for girls”, but it didn't work. I often cried to my mother about what they had said.
I was self conscious about myself to the point I wasn’t able to make a change. This is where jealousy first planted itself in my head and my inner voice picked up the habit of putting me down.
No matter how much I hated my stupid hair my inner monologue would remind me,
Getting a haircut will look even more stupid and everyone will judge you.
My skinny jeans were tattered and I despised them, but I’d be in my head,
What? Wear shorts? Then your skinny legs will be more visible, you’re a joke.
Even the thought of a girl crushing on me was shut down,
You are unwanted and weird. People are uncomfortable looking at you, let alone have a crush.
That little voice got really good at making me feel like shit, it was as if it knew exactly what I was thinking.

Ch47 is being just as difficult to me as the chapter before :,) But here is a preview for all my adoring fans <3
Unfortunately, even here, he recognized a very familiar pair of green eyes. A whole slew of him in all sizes out for display, in fact. Adrien wasn’t even sure how they could be considered as “flea market” items, considering how most of the prints were made within the decade. “My daughter moved out, said she doesn’t have time to collect these anymore,” the vendor admitted to another passing soul. “Here, it’s not just Émilie prints in here, we also have Adrien Agresté prints, too. Every position you could ever dream of.“ Adrien himself finally allowed himself to notice that most other passerby on this section of the street had some form of poster rolled up underneath their arm. …That, and the evidence that this print vendor had started off the day with maybe hundreds of prints judging by the empty boxes and cartons… Well, it made him uneasy, to say the least. It even felt a betrayal to wander up to the booth, even if he knew why he was doing it. One of the last prints was of a quite recent shoot. June of last year, if his memory served him right. The perfume was labeled ‘ My Adrien’, and was mostly jasmine with a bit of sandalwood. Lots of light blues and whites used in its promotion. …And, for what it was worth, Adrien hadn’t even realized just how provocatively he was made to pose until now.  He was up on his knees, behind the bottle of perfume, which was positioned just perfectly enough for the cap to cover his groin. And then there was the half-unbuttoned white shirt and unzipped fly of his khaki slacks. He’d been told to squint his eyes a little, one hand caressing his own jaw, the other holding on to one of his open thighs.  In short, it looked like he was starting a strip tease. No fucking wonder the perfume sold well.
This specific section has been an idea of mine for a few months now. I wanted to put my own twist on that one advertisement of Adrien with those feathers and the perfume. What twist, you ask? EXPLOITATION!
Also, for everyone who is correctly uncomfortable about this (especially considering June of the previous year would have Adrien at around 16-17), I will let you know that he buys one only for the catharsis of ripping it up :)

History of poultry cartons in Todays era ?
Poultry cartons, also known as egg cartons or egg crates, have a rich history dating back to the early 20th century. These containers have evolved over the years, reflecting changes in the poultry industry, consumer preferences, and environmental concerns. In today's era, poultry cartons have undergone several significant developments.
Early History: The use of containers to transport and sell eggs can be traced back to ancient civilizations. However, the modern egg carton as we know it began to emerge in the early 20th century. In 1911, a Canadian newspaper editor named Joseph Coyle patented a paperboard egg carton, which was designed to protect eggs during transportation and storage.
Evolution of Materials: In the mid-20th century, as plastics gained popularity, some egg cartons transitioned from paperboard to plastic. However, this shift was often met with resistance from consumers and environmentalists concerned about plastic waste. As a result, many producers returned to using paper-based cartons in response to consumer demand for more eco-friendly packaging.
Environmental Considerations: In recent years, there has been a growing emphasis on sustainability and environmental responsibility. Poultry cartons have adapted to this trend by becoming more eco-friendly. Many cartons are now made from recycled paper or other sustainable materials. Some are even biodegradable or compostable, addressing concerns about plastic pollution.
Labeling and Information: In today's era, poultry cartons often include detailed information beyond just protecting eggs. They may feature branding, nutritional information, and certifications such as "cage-free," "organic," or "free-range." This transparency allows consumers to make informed choices about the eggs they purchase.
Variety of Sizes and Styles: Poultry cartons come in various sizes and styles to accommodate different quantities of eggs, from half-dozen cartons to bulk containers for commercial use. Some cartons have clear plastic windows, allowing consumers to see the eggs inside. These variations cater to a wide range of consumer needs and preferences.
Technological Advancements: Modern technology has also influenced the poultry industry and its packaging. Automated machinery is often used to fill and seal cartons efficiently, ensuring that eggs are handled with care and precision. Additionally, advancements in printing technology have made it easier to create colorful and informative packaging.
E-commerce and Direct Sales: The rise of e-commerce and direct-to-consumer sales has impacted poultry cartons as well. Farms and small-scale producers can now sell eggs directly to consumers, often in personalized or artisanal packaging, allowing them to stand out in a competitive market.
In conclusion, poultry cartons have a long and evolving history, adapting to changes in the poultry industry, consumer preferences, and environmental concerns. In today's era, they reflect a growing emphasis on sustainability, information transparency, and technological advancements. As consumer demands and industry practices continue to evolve, so too will the design and function of poultry cartons.

15 questions, 15 mutuals
thank you for the tag! @soheavyaburden
1. Are you named for anyone?: Yes and no. My aunt couldn´t have children so my mother named me after her expecting people would call me her name. But I was given my first name (because we do double names in my familiy) and nobody calls me my second, which is hers. Welp.
2. When was the last time you cried?: Yesterday. TLoU chapter really hit into my sensitive ass. I hate one episode love stories, but I will allow it because it was cute.
3. Do you have kids?: No. I don´t plan to and I will lie to get a doc to tie my tubes up if I need to. I once thought I wanted to adopt, but knowing my life plans, having a child is plain stupid.
4. Do you use sarcasm a lot?: Haha, have I ever not used sarcasm?
5. What’s the first thing you notice about people?: Size, face, smell, accent and feet position. Silly little trick, but if they´re not pointing their feet at you, they´re not interested in the conversation.
6. What’s your eye color?: Brown.
7. Scary movies or happy endings?: hmm, depends. It´s been a while since I watched a scary movie that actually scared me and didn´t make me laugh, but when I do find one that´s scary, I like it to end in what seems a better situation than the absolute worst. Gives me some adrenaline, yk? Happy endings are ok if done well. But alas, a happy ending to me heavily depends on the movie.
8. Any special talents?: Blind writing. That was the only good class I had in middle school. Honestly that´s it, xD I don´t consider myself particularly talented in academic areas or physical ones. Sure I won some tournments, but man it was so long ago.
9. Where were you born?: Mexico.
10. What are your hobbies?: Videogames and drawing. Also reading even if it´s hard this days.
11. Have you any pets?: Valkyria and Sansa. They´re my babies. Black cats with weird personalities. They´re both adopted from the same adoption saturday ...market? ig? Anyways, I picked Valkyria when she was so thin she was barely more than bones. I thought she would die if I´m honest with you. She refused to eat if I didn´t shake her plate a bit, but she was playful, so we knew she was just starving. I was told she was wrapped in tape and dumped at the shelter and I took her because how dare call yourself a shelter and leave a cat in that state?
Sansa came from another shelter, she was a baby from a foster mama that didn´t make it. She has her tail curled like a chamaleon at the tip, probably from some stupid asshole closing the kennel´s door on it and breaking it. No, she doesn´t need to have it amputated, she doesn´t feel pain and doesn´t interfere with her daily life.
12. What sports do you play/have played?: A lot. I won a few athletism tournments that took me to the nationals (we lost), also won a few international trophies doing karate. I practiced figure skating and ballet for a bit and due my super elasticity, I could have been a good gymnast, but heh, no money.
I was at a handball tournment, but I never knew what I was doing lol. I wanted to play volleyball in middle school/high school but I got my knee injury and it made it too hard. I switched to swimming for a long time until I couldn´t afford it jsjsjs. If I had the chance, I would try archery.
13. How tall are you?: 1.73 m. more less 5 ft 7. Wish I was taller ;v;
14. Favorite subject in school?: English. It was so easy sjsjjs. Or psychology. My school´s system allowed people being exempted from doing finals if your notes were high enough, so I strived to just do 1 or less exams and I almost made it. I never had to do math finals in high school, but I actually exempted psychology earlier than everyone because I did double the lab exercises.
15. Dream job?: Concept artist. By now I know Im not made for it nor I can actually be one, but well. I can dream.

They have been doing it for forever.
Example: go to the market, choose a box of tomatoes. "I will put that in a bag for you." They set it on a lower shelf behind the table, move tomatoes into the bag a nd hand it to you. "That will be (price).
You look in the bag and the top tomato is a bit green. Not the tomatoes you selected.
Probably you pay anyway to avoid the shouting argument, and the gas lighting.
And you never buy from them again.
Example 2: 1980's. Carton sizes shrink every time the packaging changes.
900g
800g
750g
700g
Example 3
Boring flavor in 900g box.
All the other flavors 800g or 750g.
Love, best, eat well.
companies are delusional if they think consumers don't notice shrinkflation. less food in the package, less medicine in the jar, less whatever in the wherever, it doesn't matter where and it's almost always noticeable. like i just finished one box of medicine and we opened another allegedly identical one that we just bought and lo and behold, the four middle medicine segments were gone from the package. they took out four pills from the same sized box and sold it at the same price without any indication on the box other than the small number in the corner. ridiculous
