Caroline Meldea || Morella (pseudo) / Madelaine (mostly for Ithilwen)

She's a wizard of illusions/twilight cleric multiclass.

Caroline is the ex-passion of Ithilwen Rilvayn and she's exactly the one who left Ithilwen gray-haired and scarred in both mental and physical ways. During their fight she's got a scar on her right eye and tore left ear. Although corrupted veins and the half-blind right eye is her own fault regarding failed experiments with dead.

She's very into necromancy, medicine and pathologic anatomy. Maybe it's the roots of Shadar-kai in her blood.

She's half-elf 66 y.o. and, despite cold medicine mind of a scientist, she's very appreciate the Shar's worshipping.

After their broke-up with Ithilwen and after a series of forbidden experiments, Caroline forced to change her image and picks a pseudo "Morella" (yes, this is the reference to a story by Edgar Allan Poe). She also was forced to study the art of illusion to be able to travel without unwelcomed consequences and incidents. She's using name "Madelaine" when she passing the city oftenly. Both nicknames are just a set of rearranged letters of the real name.

She's very hot-tempered and unbalanced when it doesn't necessary, but terrifyingly phlegmatic when, on the contrary, it's necessary (for example, in a relationship, which she broke). She's well-read technically, but not so smart in practice. With the dead, undead, and other creatures of darkness she's getting along very virtuously, but with alive people it is hard challenge.

She prefers spells of sleep, paralysis, control and mind-penetration. She doesn't like kill people fast, it is more enjoyable to leave them suffering and dying slowly.

When she met Ithilwen on nautiloid, they got clashed into the squabble of course. After some ripped hairs and tumbles among the illithid's innards they got over their mutual hate and concluded a temporary truce.

They also met Lancaeron Oblodra and, being intelligent enough, had decided to bind the forces temporarily.

After the crash Carol, of course, frenziedly started to court the pale fanged mystery. But Astarion got sort of scared of such wild and persistent woman, also forced to fend off Lancaeron's romantic pursues. Instead, he's started to spent more time with reticent Ithilwen, complaining and hiding from crazy half of their team. As they started to get along more closely, Carol gathered even more hate to the both of them, but Lance, like an anchor, trying to get her attention.

I think she's sort of my Caroline from FO4, because her 1st design was blonde
