Hook (1991)

Hook has one burst of extreme strobe lights lasting about 3 seconds, happening just after a door closes on a ship, and the screen goes black at the end of a parade onto the ship, about 39 minutes into the film. A similar effect happens for about 20 seconds immediately after a scene where a large person tries to comfort a small person, about an hour and 44 minutes in. One character who appears frequently is sometimes depicted as a bright light with a bit of a flicker.

There are a few flying scenes that depict extreme heights and speeds, but all of the camera work in this film is very smooth.

Flashing Lights: 6/10. Motion Sickness: 3/10.

TRIGGER WARNING: A child is murdered. A person exhibits suicidal ideation and begs for help while about to make an attempt. A scene where characters trade childish insults contains descriptions of disgusting ideas.
