This weekend in search for a little relief from the week full of tragedy caused by the greatest fire disasters in Los Angeles history I went to a brand new gaming convention in held at the downtown convention center. I had bought tickets for it a month in advance so that was one of the reasons I went, otherwise I probably would have just stayed home, but then it was a rare opportunity to meet the legendary players of the old Mortal Kombat era:
From left- Daniel Pesina (the original Johnny Cage as well as most of the ninja characters like Sub Zero and Scorpion) his brother Carlos (original Raiden and fight choreographer for all of the MK games until MK11) and Anthony Marquez (the original Kung Lao and Fujin from MK Mythologies). They were the nicest and the most down to earth people I have the pleasure of talking to, and I even gave each of them a nice litttle gift:
(Unfortunately I didn’t get a picture with Anthony but he did get his gift as well, which sadly did not keep a digital copy of, darn). I also came home with these cool autographed photos, one of them you might just recognize:
And as if that wasn’t enough, I also met up with the voice of the new Scorpion, Daisuke Tsuji, who also voiced Jin Sakai in GHOST OF TSUSHIMA
And yes I gave him the gift as well as you can see, and even reunited him with his little brother!
(The signed Ghost of Tsushima art)
Understandably the crowd was pretty sparse considering the dire situation outside but it was a good way for some people to enjoy themselves, including myself, and find little relief from the grim times we are all living through right now. There were rows of free to play classic arcade games, some vendors and artists selling their merchs, which were pretty small considering this was a brand new con but one I’m hoping will soon pick up in the coming years, and there were even a cosplay contest that I actually watched parts of, though I didn’t stay to see the winner (unfortunately I cannot post here as there is a 10 image limit per post so let me continue into the new post…

Mokap is a really fun tribute character to a man who contributed a great deal to the formation of Mortal Kombat, has a fun moveset in both of his appearances, and adds a nice bit of worldbuilding as a flavor of Everyman character getting thrown into the whacky world of MK that carries a unique vibe, and a fun work bestie for Johnny Cage.
If you seriously have a problem with his existence, you’re boring and lame and there is no joy in your soul.

IguanaBee in ExpoGame 2023
ExpoGame Santiago was celebrated on the 13th (Fri), 14th (Sat) & 15th (Sun), in Estación Mapocho. I wanted to go by the special guests as Daniel Pesina, Carlos Pesina, Ho-Sung Pak (Mortal Kombat Original Game Actors) & Charles Martinet (Original Voice Actor of Mario) but they can´t go (the good news ExpoGame give me back my money).
IguanaBee Stand
But in ExpoGame, IguanaBee was invited as an exhibitor for the 3 days, with a wonderful space and location for the stands. The demo that we showed is The Amazing Crackpots Clubs!, an incredible development between Astrobard Games (formed by some mate works of In Vitro Games & friends of Oscar Gacitua, Lead Programmer of the game) with co-development and published by IguanaBee.
"Some photos were taken on the stand with a stage that had a screen for a tournament."
I went on Sunday in the afternoon to help the team, I was amazed because the event had the same level of production that Festigame had in years past. Was a funny and incredible moment at ExpoGame, a lot of people enjoyed playing The amazing Crackpots Club!
"We had a sponsor, they we lent laptops and monitors with the seal of Thunderbolt."
"Fantastic material for all game projects development of IguanaBee"

Ya know it’s weird Chicago, Illinois is almost never mentioned in Mortal Kombat. Like I haven’t sat down and crunched the numbers but a lot of people who’ve worked on Mortal Kombat in someway were born and raised in Chicago. Plus it’s where the games are made, but like only Mokap is the only character from Chicago. And he’s based on Carlos Pesina, the original mocap artist for Raiden, who was born and raised in Chicago.

Is it true that you and Johnny Cage are secretly blood-related brothers? (For those who don't know, the original actors of Raiden and Johnny Cage in MK1 are brothers (Daniel Pesina & Carlos Pesina)
"By the Elder Gods do not say such a thing!"

'Multi-goal' Atalanta Ilicic completes firepower check ahead of Manchester United match 먹튀검증
먹튀검증먹튀사이트먹튀검증사이트먹튀 검증 먹튀 사이트 먹튀 검증 사이트
Josif Ilyich led the victory by checking the firepower.
Atalanta BC won 4-1 against Empoli FC in the 8th round of Italian Serie A for the 2021/22 season held at Stadio Carlo Castellani in Empoli, Tuscany, Italy on the 17th (Korean time). Atalanta have won their first 3 league matches and Empoli have lost 2 consecutive league games.
Atalanta have been struggling with injuries this season. The team's key players, attacking midfielder Matteo Pesina, all-weather defender Rafael Toloy and left wingback Robin Gozens are out. All three players are expected to miss a month or more. In addition, center back Berat Gym City was out on the 9th.
With players dropping out one after another, Atalanta had no choice but to rely more on the offense they boasted about. Illichic did that part.
In the 11th minute of the first half, Ilicic received a pass from Mario Marsalić and scored with a winding kick from the left side of the opponent's box. In the 25th minute of the first half, he received a pass from Luis Muriel and shook the net with a long-range shot. Atalanta, who took a quick lead thanks to Ilicic's performance, eventually won 4-1.
Atalanta are now ready to face Manchester United during the week with a lot of injuries. There are many difficulties, but the existence of Illichic, who has completed the firepower check, is reassuring.

Francisco y Madero presenta Juventud en Éxtasis
youtube
Larga vida a Francisco y Madero.

If we pay attention enough we note: 1. A drawing that seems to show a fatality. 2. A Conceptual Art of Raiden 3. A 3D model of some Shokan 4. A binary code (which translates as "There is no Easter Eggs, go ahead") 5. Dan Forder cutting fruit and the sound being recorded, if we remember, this is how the sounds of broken bones and guts are recorded. 6. Carlos Pesina doing Motion Capture of what they wander, is a Fatality of Scorpion. 7. More people making captures of what appear to be Fatalities of various characters.
Let's not forget that according to Ed Boon: "NRS never stops working" that means MKXI if it is in development but the trailer might be released the trailer out of E3 next year. Some people believe that what is shown in the video are samples of MKX when it was still in development. What do you think?
