Sometimes I think about how Carla started taking her clothes of literally immediately when Lawrence sat down next to her and I feel like there’s two ways you could interpret that. Like if you think Lawrence hasn’t actually gone through with sleeping with her yet, I feel like it speaks to a need to please Lawrence and maybe alludes to how unbalanced their relationship is, like how she may have confused wanting the approval of a mentor with wanting a relationship and how Lawrence may have taken advantage of that. Which lends itself to the idea that Lawrence’s need to be in control at all times may bleed into manipulation, foreshadowing a darker side of him that is allowed to bloom as an apprentice.

On the other hand, if you think they have slept together before, he is giving her THE DICK OF DEATH and she is wasting NO TIME in getting to it. And honestly, work, can’t say I wouldn’t do the same

Is the Doctor's granddaughter a red herring, or is she yet to be explained? At some point the Doctor has kids. And as much as I'd truly love to watch a season with a pregnant doctor, could Ruby be his child? Whether River's (she had a 'song' in her soul) or a yet be revealed mom.

Also, I think Mrs. Flood is the Trickster. The God of traps. They mentioned traps over and over in the episode, and Mrs. Flood is poised in her own trap for Ruby's family right now. Carla's on her way there.

Of course the irony being that eren could never be a better son because he is who he is and he always will be, BUT! We talk a lot about Grisha and occasionally Kruger but I really wanna talk about how Carla’s “He’s already special because he was born into this word” (unintentionally) kinda fed into eren’s… I wouldn’t call it entitlement but I would call it something similar-his obsession with getting the world he wanted no matter what and who it took. That, combined with Grisha telling Eren at his birth that he is free…. Positive feedback gone wrong! The same issue with Zeke being told as a child that he is Eldia’s saviour and that kinda being what defines him forever, its the same chain of events with Eren (paraphrasing a lot obvs but yknow.)
