Sometimes I think about how Carla started taking her clothes of literally immediately when Lawrence sat down next to her and I feel like there’s two ways you could interpret that. Like if you think Lawrence hasn’t actually gone through with sleeping with her yet, I feel like it speaks to a need to please Lawrence and maybe alludes to how unbalanced their relationship is, like how she may have confused wanting the approval of a mentor with wanting a relationship and how Lawrence may have taken advantage of that. Which lends itself to the idea that Lawrence’s need to be in control at all times may bleed into manipulation, foreshadowing a darker side of him that is allowed to bloom as an apprentice.

On the other hand, if you think they have slept together before, he is giving her THE DICK OF DEATH and she is wasting NO TIME in getting to it. And honestly, work, can’t say I wouldn’t do the same
