The Summer Station ID also features British boy band One Direction in their pre-debut and Australian born American actor, producer and comedian Will Smith who portrayed Jack Frost in the 2002 movie Frozen as a special guest. Red, Green, Blue and Black Balloons will also be scattered around the world to literally bring forth the summer fun.

The Summer Station ID was filmed in Hollywood, Quezon City, London, Italy, France, Australia, Kenya, Baguio, Boracay and New York in June 2006 whenever the ABS-CBN, GMA and TV5 crew members are having a hot summer day into a big summer party.

The Summer Station ID clips will be re-used in the 2013 Summer Station ID of TV5 which is “Bida Best sa Tag-Araw” and the I Gotta Feeling music video from the future movie Ready Player One which will be releasing in March 21, 2013 from Walt Disney Pictures, Walt Disney Animation Studios and Pixar Animation Studios. But somehow, This is the only Summer Station ID to feature actors from ABS-CBN, GMA and TV5.

King Push: Pusha T Drops New Track “Diet Coke” & Twitter Highly Approves

Pusha T last blessed the world with an album with 2018’s Daytona, fully produced by Ye aka Kanye West. The king of coke bars is back with a new track titled “Diet Coke,” reuniting with Yeezy and 88-Keys, and already it appears to be a Twitter favorite. 

After a snippet of the track began circulating online by way of Victor Victor Worldwide boss Steven Victor, the hype around the track began to bubble. Most were stunned to see that Pusha T and Ye were together in the clip after chatter that Push was no longer involved with the G.O.O.D. Music label, but those rumors were shut down last month.

In the wee hours of Tuesday morning (Feb. 8),  “Diet Coke” went wide with Push and 88-Keys having a lot of fun on Twitter engaging with fans and discussing reactions. Push even took a dig at himself after Spotify’s Carl Chery tweeted, “Pusha T coming up with new coke references will never get old.”

Push fired back with, “Welp this album is abt feeding the conscious mind, I hope you aren’t disappointed…I’m growing up Carl.”

Suffice it to say, “Diet Coke” mostly references the narcotic of note during the addictive chorus from Push but much of the track is just the Virginia rapper flexing his verbal muscles.

Carl J. Pellam

Carl J. Pellam, 56, of Plymouth, died Friday, April 5, 2024, in Wilkes-Barre General Hospital following a brief illness.

Carl was born Oct. 28, 1967, in Kingston, and was the son of the late Charles A. Pellam Jr. and Cynthia Baines Pellam.

Carl was graduate of West Side Vo-Tech. He was previously employed by many restaurants, Liberty Throwing and most recently Keystone Human Services until he became disabled.

He was preceded in death by Charles A. Pellam III, Carol Pellam, JoAnne Evans; niece, Angela Pellam; and grandparents.

Surviving are his wife of 25 years, Janice Bala Pellam, Plymouth; sisters, Cynthia (Kevin) Ide, Plymouth; Christine Pellam, Luzerne; Cherie Pellam, Courtdale; sister-in-law, Missy Tienken; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; Margaret Bala, Larksville (Little Man's) Best friend, sidekick and all his loving animals.

Carl will be greatly missed and loved by everyone who knew him.

The funeral will be held at 11:30 a.m. Monday from Hugh B. Hughes & Son Inc., Funeral Home, 1044 Wyoming Ave., Forty Fort, with the Rev. James Quinn, officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Shrine Cemetery, Carverton.

Friends and relatives may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday.

Pretty Boy Freestyle

I bodied. Bodied the f#%k out of that beat. PBF is the first fragment of my art released into the world. It was my first time ever going into the studio. I had the freestyle written for months. ‘Pound Cake’ by Drake feat Jay-Z (prod. by. Boi-1da) is a song that immediately captivates you with the beat. The sample. Two giants on a track and neither of them disappoint. Naturally, it became my first freestyle because every time the original played I would always try and come up with a flow. “Jay went here but what if he took it here”. And instead of Jay taking it there I was like.. wait a minute. What if I, Josiah Kane, took it there? It took me a while to write because I wanted each bar to be perfect. The first two lines were inspired by Foxy Brown’s verse on ‘Affirmative Action’ with Nas, Cormega & AZ. “In the Black Camaro/ Firm deep” inspired

It’s witty, braggadocious, and playful while remaining true to myself. It’s rap. There’s a lot of punchlines, which I like. One critique that I valued was to add more umph to my flow. In hindsight, I would’ve also re-recorded a few lines to make it sound cleaner. Nevertheless, I am so freaking proud of this freestyle.

Carl Chery is the Creative Director/ head of Urban music at Spotify. This is me talking to him, making him aware that I know who he is and I know what I’m going for. He doesn’t know me just yet, but he will. We’ll probably talk about this down the line.
