This is the Christmas Station ID of TV5 in 2010. The Christmas Station ID was themed “Maligayang Pasko, Kapatid! In the Service of the Filipino”. The Station ID is accompanied with the Christmas version of “Para Sa’yo Kapatid” performed by Jose Mari Chan and Apo Hiking Society featuring Regine Velasquez. But somehow, Ogie Alcasid and Regine Velasquez also performed the original version of the “Para Sa’yo Kapatid” in June 30, 2010.

The Christmas Station ID was launched in December 1, 2010 which is the same thing that the “Da Best ang Pasko ng Pilipino” music video was released from ABS-CBN.

The Christmas Station ID also features Chris Pratt, Charlie Day, Bill Hader and Jason Momoa as the special guests as they are seen in the 2010 Summer Station ID of ABS-CBN which is "Galaw-Galaw sa Tag-Araw" in an alternate dimension where they are counterparts of Ryan Agoncillo, Teddy Corpuz, Billy Crawford and Vhong Navarro who are the hosts of It's Showtime on ABS-CBN since 2005 and even the ABS-CBN love team "CathNiel" in which Catherine Bernardo and Daniel Padilla were together since 2005. But 10 years from now, Ryan Agoncillo, Teddy Corpuz, Billy Crawford and Vhong Navarro will appear as guests of TV5.

Somehow, This was also the only Christmas Station ID to feature Marky Cielo before his death in November 30, 2012 due to a cardiac arrest. Somehow, Mel Tiangco, Howie Severino, James Reid, Nadine Lustre, Diego Loyzaga, Ion Perez, Barbie Imperial, Rhian Ramos, Aljur Abrenica, Julia Montes and twin sisters Anne Curtis and Jasmine Curtis-Smith don’t appear in the Christmas Station ID at this point due to their retirement from TV5. Also, Ram Revilla did not appear because he died in December 30, 2009. But Dominic Roco and Felix Roco appeared as special guests since they left TV5 in 2010. But in 2017, They will return to portray as Rantaro and Ranjiro Kiyama from Beyblade Burst Sparking when it airs on TV5 in 2017.

The Christmas Station ID theme will be re-used in the 2011 Christmas Station ID from TV5 which is “Magpasaya ng Kapatid” but with minor changes and fireworks at the very end including the 4th wall break from Blue the Puppy, the mascot of TV5. Somehow, The fireworks at the very end will occur in the 2015 Christmas Station ID which is “Happy Ka Dito Ngayon Pasko!” which will feature special guests like Rufa Mae Quinto, Julia Montes, Cristine Reyes, Dimples Romana, Alex Gonzaga, Roxanne Guinoo, Angelica Panganiban and Valerie Concepcion waving at the end.

おすすめ旧譜アルバムVol. 15 ：The Notorious B.I.G.「Life After Death」

旧譜紹介Vol. 15です。

今回紹介するのは、NYのラッパーのThe Notorious B.I.G.による97年のアルバム「Life After Death」です。

The Notorious B.I.G.はNY出身のラッパーです。

Mary J. BligeやCraig Mackらへの客演などを経て、94年に1stアルバム「Ready to Die」をリリース。高い人気を集めますが、97年の2ndアルバムとなる本作「Life After Death」リリース直前に銃撃に遭い帰らぬ人となります。その後99年に疑似共演含む多くの客演を招いたアルバム「Born Again」、05年には完全な疑似共演作の「Duets: The Final Chapter」をリリース。また、95年には自身が所属するクルーのJunior M.A.F.I.A.でのアルバム「Conspiracy」、17年にはFaith Evansとのタッグ作「The King & I」がリリースされています。作品数はそこまで多くはありませんが、多くのラッパーに影響を与えた2Pacと並んでヒップホップを代表するアーティストです。今月16日には、20年の「ロックの殿堂」入りすることも発表されました。

太く低い声質から繰り出される重厚で安定感のあるスキルフルなラップが魅力です。音的にはNYらしいブーンバップやR&B風味、西海岸や南部など他エリアの音楽性も吸収したGなものなども柔軟にこなします。

本作は2枚組の作品で、どちらかというとNYらしい曲を中心にまとめたディスク1、他エリアの要素も取り入れたディスク2と微妙にカラーを分けた傑作に仕上がっています。G好きの方も是非。

TotalのPamela Longがフックを歌うNY流Gファンク。

ピーヒャラシンセなどが入らず、ベースとドラムで聴かせる音数の少ない作りに痺れます。ラップのキレも抜群。

1-4. Kick In The Door

DJ Premierプロデュース。

隙間を活かした男気溢れるブーンバップものの曲です。そこに乗るスキルフルなラップも聴き応えたっぷり。NYらしい硬派な名曲です。

1-6. Last Day Feat. The Lox

Havoc制作のハードコアなブーンバップ。

ギターやストリングス、タイトなドラムが効いたビートが非常に良いです。Jadakissによるフックもキャッチー。

1-7. I Love The Dough Feat. Jay-Z & Angela Winbush

Easy Mo Beeが手掛けた煌びやかなR&B系の曲。

Gな匂いも漂うベースとシンセが効いたビートで、女性シンガーのAngela Winbushのフックを交えてJay-Zとマイクを回す良曲です。高音で華のあるJay-Zとの相性もばっちり。

1-8. What's Beef?

緊張感のあるストリングスをループしたブーンバップ。

派手さはない曲ですが、The Notorious B.I.G.の高いラップ力が堪能できる曲です。淡々とした中に迫力があります。

1-10. Mo Money Mo Problems Feat. Mase & Puff Daddy

全てのヴァースがクラシックな名曲。

軽快なギターを使ったビートで、Kelly Priceの歌フックを挟んでゆるい2人との絡みが楽しめます。他の2人のラップも非常に良いですが、最も良いのはやはり主役。入りから素晴らしいです。

Buckwild、Chucky Thompson、Puff Daddyの共作。

寂しげなギターのループで、フックなしでラップするエモーショナルな曲です。ビートの美しさとラップの実力だけで聴かせます。

ゆったりとしたGなメロウ。

But the Christmas Station ID includes other actors like Cristine Reyes, Masahiro Inoue, Yutaka Kobayashi, Masato Uchiyama, Kimito Totani and Takamasa Suga who are the actors from the 2006 movie Minority Report that make a cameo when filming The Real Slim Shady music video from Frozen and South Korean boy band Momoland as a 9-member boy band during their pre-debut similar to the Happy Music Video from Toy Story 3 when they are in school uniform. Somehow, Cristine Reyes was a former TV5 actress from 2005 until 2010.

Eventually, The Christmas Station ID also features Mickey Mouse as a special guest and Blue the Puppy, the mascot of TV5 and the character from Disney’s Blues Clues. However, Dean Wendt voiced Mickey Mouse in 2009 when Wayne Allwine died at 62. But the Christmas Station ID featured an explosion where Ivan Dorschner accidentally sliced a bomb with an Excalibur sword which nearly exploded on him which broke the fourth wall by accident. However, The opening features the voice of Peter Musgñi who is the voiceover of ABS-CBN whenever he narrates about Christmas and even the people they lost which made people cry or even depressed.

Sadly, The Christmas Station ID did not feature Regine Velasquez because she was busy handling with her son Nate Alcasid. Also, Sarah Geronimo, child actors Bimby Aquino Yap, CX Navarro, Elijah Canlas, Mutya Orquia, Belle Mariano, Charlie Dizon and Jazz Ocampo don’t appear in the Christmas Station ID as well. Although, Marky Cielo doesn't appear at this point because he died in November 30, 2012 due to a cardiac arrest at the age of 35.

Somehow, The Christmas Station ID will be re-used in 2013 which will be known as “Sabay Tayo Ngayong Pasko, Kapatid!” which would be not similar to the 2005 Christmas Station ID of ABS-CBN which is “Sabay Tayo Ngayong Pasko, Kapamilya!”. Eventually, This originated in the 2001 Christmas Station ID of GMA which is “Sabay Tayo Ngayong Pasko, Kapuso!”.

But the original theme was “Everyday All The Way” which is the slogan of TV5 in 2006 during the weekday primetime timeslots of drama and comedy from 7:00pm until 10:00pm.
