Wait, if Purple is watching Cyan does that mean he saw her not so friendly conversation with the other impostor or....
Tumblr media
Purple: "I wasn't security at the time, because we didn't have cameras installed throughout MIRA HQ back then. But we did have ONE active camera on the top floor- Cyan's laptop webcam. She happened to be recording some of her research to send to an offsite colleague, another field team on Polus, that she heard might have evidence of some life form or another she was searching for. Most of it was just boring science jargon, and her showing diagrams to the screen, before she got interrupted for meal time. But... here. I can show you the video that I managed to save."
[Purple clicks through file folders and server commands, dismissing the back door into Cyan's laptop PC, and returning to his desktop. He loads up a file titled UserCyan1Video27.mov]
[LOADING VIDEO...]
[WARNING: Video file has been flagged by ID UserPurple1 for sensitive content [Blood, Body Horror, Implied Animal Death]. Do you still wish to proceed and view this file?]
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
[...]
[Purple and Black both stare at the video, halted on the blank error message screen.]
Purple: "...Cyan has told us she doesn't have clear memory of the event. Only that she was filled with rage and grief, and... knew what she had done. She doesn't know about this recording- I don't think she should. I saved it to my storage and deleted it from her hard drive as soon as I found it. The only members of the crew who know about the existence of this video are myself, and the Captain."
Black: "And for her own sanity's sake- and everyone else's safety- I think it should stay between us. She shouldn't have to see- to know- a record exists of the greatest betrayal she's ever experienced."

Let’s go let’s go I can finally ramble about this stupid au aaaaaa
Tumblr media
I never know how to start these types of posts uhhh-
Five Night’s Among Us/FNAU is exactly what it sounds like, fnaf characters in among us. Focusing on the security breach cast! (Everyone else exists though, just on different ships)
The Fazco space initiative is proven a roaring success after making their first successful ship landing on Polus, with the help of the crew’s captain, Spring, who makes the trip back to HQ to report in person while the rest of the crewmates are… busy.
Tumblr media
Anyways, the company quickly jumps the gun and starts making new crews and ships to further explore, and further prove that they’re successful. These crews consisted of; Skeld 1F; with the classics, toys, and golden animatronics, Skeld A3; Funtimes, rockstars, and a human mechanic names Mike, and finally Skeld G5; The Glamrocks (including GR Bonnie and Foxy), DJMM, and the DCAs!
Sun has a quick run in with Spring, and is unknowingly infected with a parasite by them,
Queue Moon, a growing shapeshifter who hasn’t quite gotten the hang of its abilities yet, he doesn’t really have a trigger in this au, he just tries to fuck around when he feels like it. And fuck around it does because less than a week after boarding G5 Foxy is found dead. Oops.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Things escalate from there, turns out Monty is the second imposter, kills Bonnie, and almost gets caught by Chica in the process. So Chica has to die soon, Y’know Y’know
Sun is slowly growing aware of Moon, and a few other “oddities” going on with himself (your suit bleeding is… not normal, right?). As is Chica, his best friend, who wants to try to ‘tame’ it after the whole “holy shit what the fuck my friend is being controlled by an alien and killing people” phase passes
Whether that will work has yet to be seen (I haven’t figure it out yet 🤭)

The Consequences “CONQ” Crew
(consequences series crew 3/4)
Yet again, lore under the cut :)
Following the failure of the PREQ crew and the disappearance of the AFTRMF crew, MIRA was still determined to return to Polus and complete their research. Despite pushback from large portions of the company, the MIRA CEO ordered that a crew be put together for another mission- this one being referred to as the “consequences” crew as a reminder that space exploration came with a price. The purpose of this mission was twofold- to continue the research and find out what happened to the AFTRMF crew.
Since the previous missions had exhausted MIRA’s trained personnel, the majority of this crew was made up of civilians who entered a contest to go to space. Only the captain, first officer, and medic had extensive training. The crew is entirely uninformed of the crew’s actual mission and believes MIRA is running an experiment regarding civilian space travel. It is unconfirmed, but there have been reports that a handful of these civilians are labelled internally as “anomalies”. No further information on the topic has surfaced.
This crew, however, seems to have met a similar fate as the previous crews. This time, all communication was lost with the ship shortly after launch, and nothing was heard from the ship until it crash-landed on Polus. Impostor involvement is suspected, as the CONQ crew had interacted with the PREQ crew’s impostor before liftoff.
The number of survivors is unknown, estimates vary wildly from no survivors to everyone surviving, but leaked documents suggest at least four members of the crew have been found.

The Children
Hello hello! I absolutely love all of your stories, they're all such delights to read! Imposter syndrome and all the among us ones after it especially has my heart and have helped me through some rough times. The latest one made me think of what would happen if Cyan also was a little kid around purple's age and how different Black's reaction to them may-or-may not be, considering they're now both a kid and an alien? maybe they were hiding in the vents of the ship?(which, of course, you don’t have to write if you don’t wanna but it could be fun to see! Thank you and I hope you're having a nice day!) – anon
Read on Ao3

In yet another timeline...
Black finds not one but two hidden stowaways in the aftermath of the Skeld massacre.
"No, no, no—please, please!" Orange's fingers scrabble against the wall in a fruitless attempt to stop. "I won't say anything, I won't do anything, please, let me go!"
Black barely falters as they haul the body up and into the airlock. Orange snivels and whines and keeps begging, even as the glass closes.
"No! No! I'll help you! You need clearance—I can give you clearance! Please! I'll do anything!"
Black pauses, hand on the control. "Anything?"
"Yes, yes! Yes, I'll do absolutely anything, anything you want—"
"Then perish."
The vacuum of space sucks Orange out of the airlock, the last of their screams cutting off into static. Black shakes their head as they turn and make for Navigation. They pass by blood splatters on the walls from earlier kills and make a note to find a mop in some corner of Storage once they're underway.
This mission hadn't been particularly gruesome, not compared to some of the others, but it had its moments. Certainly this crew of humans had taken the 'do not go gentle' approach to dying, save for Orange who…in hindsight, definitely spent too long cowering in Comms to be considered 'brave.'
No use lingering over them.
They reach Navigation and reroute to Polus, carefully overriding the automatic updates back to MIRA and plunging the ship into radio silence. They scan radar for surrounding ships. None to be found. Excellent.
Black leans back in the captain's chair, stretching their arms until they hear a small pop. They've spent longer periods in complete human form, but for some reason this body's been giving them trouble for a while. Eh, no humans anymore, they can afford to shift just to stretch. Their maw lets out a groan of relief as sloshing sounds fill Navigation for a moment, letting them stretch out properly before assuming the human form once more.
They stop.
Listen.
Their attention slowly turns to the vent in the corner.
Was that their imagination, or did they just hear another sloshing sound?
Their maw rumbles for a moment, then they go still again. After a pause, they swear they hear something rumble back. But that's impossible. There's only one Impostor assigned to this mission, and no additional life signs detected upon moment of entry. They get up from the chair, kneeling down by the vent and carefully sending a tendril through the grate.
Almost at the limit of their reach, they smell it.
Something's in there.
They stand up, quickly going from Navigation to Shields, doing the same thing to the vent in the corner. Again, just at the limits of their senses, they smell it. Some bizarre amalgamation of human and Impostor scents, but something alive and moving.
Black's not enough of an optimist to hope that whatever's in there hasn't figured out that they've been alerted to its presence. And it probably has no way of knowing that—at the moment—Black doesn't intend to hurt it. It's clever; it's picked a spot equidistant from Navigation and Shields, which means whichever end Black enters the vent, it has the whole rest of the ship to escape to from the other end.
Black sits back on their haunches, thinking. Strategically, it would be better to isolate the problem until reinforcements—or at least one other Impostor—could handle it simultaneously. They're too far from Polus for a signal to reach and if it managed to stay hidden for the entirety of the voyage so far, it would likely remain so until they docked. Black could simply block off these vents and keep it contained.
…but in those little glimpses their senses managed to get, they smelled fear.
Both human and Impostor.
While it wasn't out of the ordinary to bring humans back to Polus, Black wasn't in the habit of unnecessary risks. Better to deal with a human here, now, then risk a containment breach on Polus.
With this in mind, they get up and reach into the electrical closet next to the manifolds, removing two sets of thin metal poles and attaching them in place over the vent cover. Then they move quickly back to Navigation and check their course heading. A quick confirmation that there aren't any asteroids that'll need to be cleared and they open the vent.
Immediately, they're caught with a wave of skittering noises as whatever it is shuffles to the other side of the vent. How have they never noticed this before? They've used every vent on the ship at this point, had they just always been picking the ones this thing wasn't in? Black shakes their head as they carefully enter the vent. Something to ask, perhaps.
The smells grow stronger as they make their way toward the other side, as do the banging noises as whatever it is works frantically at the jammed vent. Halfway through, Black stops, one hand on their knife as they send out a tendril. After a moment, they hear something else.
Fuck.
Fuck.
That's a pup.
There's a fucking pup in this vent.
Black's hand leaves the knife and their maw rumbles. After a long pause, they hear a chirp back. They shift slightly, just enough so their mother tongue will work.
"Pup," they rumble, "pup, can you hear me?"
The banging sound stops. Then: "yes."
Great. "Good, pup. That's good. Are you hurt?"
"No."
Black's maw rumbles. "I can smell your fear, pup, you don't have to lie to me."
Another jolt of fear, stronger, and they quickly rumble soothingly.
"It's just me on the ship now," they add, "no more humans. Just Impostors. It's okay, pup, I won't hurt you."
"You won't?"
"No, pup."
There's another quiet sloshing sound and Black shifts on their haunches.
"Can I come over, pup? You're hurt, I can tell, let me—"
"No!"
Black jerks, almost hitting their head on the inside of the vent.
"Don't come closer," the pup repeats, the smell of their fear growing stronger, "stay away!"
"Easy, pup, calm down. It's okay, I won't come closer, I'll stay right here, okay?" They rumble and trill a few times, their maw panting a little heavier. "Calm down, now."
It takes a long while—a long while for the sloshing sounds to subside, even longer for the fear to dissipate, but after a moment, the pup chirps back and Black's shoulders relax.
"If you don't want me to come to you, could you come to me? I won't move, I'll stay still, and you can decide how close you come, how about that?"
"You promise?"
"I promise, pup."
More sloshing sounds and then a small tendril flicks against theirs. They rumble, sitting down heavily in the vent. Slowly, so slowly, the pup crawls down the vent, following the tendril. Black lets the suit slip and their maw falls open, tongue lolling out slightly to allow the pup to hear it. They can smell them better now and they're young. Barely older than a nestling. How did they end up here?
At last, a small pup pokes its head around the corner of the vent, arms curled tentatively about the bolts. Black waves, their maw panting as the pup peers out a little more.
"Hey, pup," they call, "just me, see? I'm not gonna hurt you."
"You…you're Black," the pup mumbles, "are—are you the one they talk about?"
"The one they talk about?"
"Yeah. The—the shadow killer or something. Is that you?"
Oh, for—that moniker really is overdramatic at best and a gross romanticization of war at worst, but the pup seems to know who they are, so… "Yeah, pup, that's…that's me."
"Did you kill all the crew already?"
"Yes, they're dead. It's just me left. I won't hurt you."
"Are you taking us back to Polus?"
"Yes, we're on our—'us?'"
The pup shuffles. "Y-you know…the ship."
Black frowns. That didn't sound like the truth. But they let it go for now in favor of smelling the hurt still emanating from the pup. "You're hurt, pup, I can tell. Let me see, I can help."
"It's okay."
"That's not what I asked, pup, if you're hurt, we should make it better."
The pup's tendril shuffles against the bulkhead. Black rumbles again encouragingly and the pup trills back. Then they slowly move from behind the corner and oh, fuck—
"Pup," Black rumbles, reaching out for them, "pup—that's a stab wound, how did that happen?"
"Reactor. The vent cover broke."
"Come here, let me see—" they're so tiny, they're so fucking tiny, where the fuck is their nest, who let them be all the way out here alone— "you're very lucky. It doesn't look like it hit anything super important. But we need to get it patched up so it doesn't get infected, okay?"
The pup shuffles in their arms, their maw nibbling on another tendril. They're so tiny, how in the fuck did they end up all the way out here?
"I've got some stuff in the crew quarters we can use, can I bring it here?"
"Yeah."
"Stay here, okay? Don't leave the vent, then I won't be able to find you."
"H-how—" Black stops pulling away when the pup tugs on them— "how did you find me?"
"I heard you. Then I smelled you."
"You smelled me?"
"Yeah, pup, I can smell you."
The pup pulls away, shuffling a little on the floor. "Will you bring the stuff here?"
"I'll be right back. Stay in the vent, okay?"
"I will."
Black quickly climbs out of the vent and makes it to quarters, snagging their emergency tin and tucking it safely into their belt. Their mind won't stop running over and over—how the fuck did a pup manage to stow away in the vents? What the fuck happened? How did I not notice this?
They'll have to ask once they make sure the pup is safe.
They climb back into the vent, sending out a tendril and moving to where they were last time. After a moment, the pup reappears, crawling close enough that Black can start applying the medicine to their wound.
"Easy," they rumble when the pup whines, "I know it stings, just try and hold still. This will help, I promise."
"Why are you being nice," the pup chitters, "did—are—am I in trouble?"
Fuck. This is a baby, how in the fuck is Black supposed to know what to do with a baby?
"No, pup, you're not in trouble. I'm just worried, okay?"
"So you'll help?"
Black frowns. That twinge in their instincts is back. Something else is wrong. "Yeah, pup, I'll help."
Despite the feeling that something's not all what the pup says it is, the reassurance makes them relax a little more, letting Black finish applying the medicine. They toy idly with the pup's tendrils, their maw purring reassuringly as the pup begins to calm down.
…of course, as the pup's fear begins to fade, they smell something else.
Human fear.
The pup trills when their hands slow and they look over the pup's head, a tendril flashing out and down the vent.
The human fear grows stronger the further they go.
Fuck.
"Pup," they ask slowly, "is there a human down there?"
"N-no."
"Don't lie to me, pup." When the pup doesn't say anything, Black bites back a curse and reaches for their knife. How fucking despicable, that a human would hide behind a wounded pup. "Stay here."
"No!"
Black startles when the pup wraps its arms around theirs, spreading out as much of their form as they can to try and block the vent. They've got barely an akk-kitten's strength but they're trembling with the effort of keeping Black still.
"Pup—"
"You said you would help! Don't go down there!"
"Pup, you're hurting yourself—"
"Stay away from them! Leave them alone!" A tiny maw bites their arm and it—well, honestly, it tickles. "I'll—I'll fight you!"
"Calm down, pup, you're frothing."
The pup trembles and the smell of their fear begins to permeate the vents again. Black reaches out and takes them in their hands, tugging them gently off the vent and holding them in their lap. The pup still thrashes and tries to bite them. Black's maw rumbles and they take them gently by the scruff, rubbing small circles.
"Shh, pup, calm down. Shh, shh…easy, there you go."
The pup can't seem to decide whether to melt or keep fighting back, trembling in Black's hold as their maw digs into their arm. Black keeps at it, patiently waiting as the pup starts to whine, tendrils slowly curling in on themselves.
"Don't hurt them, please, they're—they're just a hatchling. They're just a hatchling, don't hurt them!"
"They're a human, pup."
"But they're just a hatchling!"
A juvenile, probably. Black sighs. At least it's not a fully grown human, that makes this a bit easier.
"Are they hurt too?" When the pup makes a noise of confirmation, Black adjusts their grip. "They'll need to get fixed too, pup, they'll have to go to Medbay."
"Don't hurt them!"
"I'm not going to hurt them, pup. I'm trying to help. Like you said, remember? I said I'd help."
"You promise you won't hurt them?"
"I promise."
The pup stills, finally, and shifts a bit toward the other end of the vent. Black glances behind them.
"If I go wait outside, will you bring them to me? I'll help."
"You promise?"
"Yes, pup, I promise."
The pup's jaw tightens on their arm in what would be a very threatening display if they were just a little bit older, but really is just terribly endearing. Then they let go, shuffling toward the other end of the vent. Black sighs, wondering how the fuck this happened for the eightieth time, and climbs out of the vent to crouch next to the opening.
The smells start to get stronger again and—really, it's worrying how much they blend together; Black's only able to separate the pup's fear from the human's after being right next to them for so long. Finally, they see a tendril poke out of the vent and flick one of their own against it.
Only years of experience keeps them from gasping audibly when the pup clambers out of the vent wrapped around a human so small it looks the length of Black's arm.
The human's eyes widen as soon as they see Black, tiny hands—fuck, they're so tiny, they're so fucking small, how is that real—grabbing onto the edge of the vent and trying to stop the pup from exiting. Their little face looks so scared and Black's rumbling before they can stop themselves.
"Hey, baby," they murmur, "it's okay. I'm not gonna hurt you."
Small. Small human. Oh, fuck, small human hatchling. What the fuck is my life?
"Shh, it's alright." They hold their hands up. "See? I'm not gonna hurt you. I didn't hurt your friend and I won't hurt you."
The pup trills, squeezing the human carefully and getting more of their arms out of the vent. The human whimpers in fear—or pain?—and Black sits back.
"Hey, hey, it's okay. It's okay, baby, look, I'm not moving, see? I'm not mad, you're not in trouble, it's okay. I just want to help."
They watch as the pup starts to chirp at the human, wrapping their arms around them and pushing them gently out of the vent. The human's fear slowly starts to fade as they carefully climb out. The pup trills at Black, holding them out.
"Can I pick you up, baby? I want to see if you're hurt."
The human curls around their side—shit, did they get hurt by the same thing that hurt the pup? Black reaches down slowly, so slowly, holding out their hand.
"Come on, baby, you can do it, it's okay."
If you had told Black they'd be cradling a human hatchling in their arms as a stowaway pup fussed next to them, they'd have killed you.
And yet, the human blinks up at them with wide eyes as their maw rumbles, letting them peer at the stained part of their side.
"You're hurt, baby," Black murmurs, "we need to fix it. We have to go to Medbay, okay?"
The human glances around, as if looking for the rest of the crew.
"They're not here anymore, baby, it's just me."
The pup chirps as if in confirmation and the human reaches out. They tangle their fingers in the pup's arms and hold on tight.
"Can we all go to Medbay?" When the human nods and the pup clambers onto Black's shoulder, they stand up slowly with the human in their arms and start the long, slow walk to the other side of the ship. "Close your eyes, baby, it's going to be too bright for you."
The human shifts and tucks their head against Black's shoulder. The pup burbles and slides over to help shield their eyes. Black has so many questions but bites their tongue.
Once we get to Medbay, they think as they contemplate just how fucking weird their life has become, then we'll figure out what to do.

Redesigns of some really old OCs I had back in 2020... I WILL digitalise them at some point... OC rambles under the cut bc it’s insanely long lol
Rezique, Deziya and Cyth are imposters in one crew, Swirlz and Aspyratus are imposters in the other, with Karuiz who got infected with a parasite (which is Aspyratus)
Rezique is a strict imposter who does her job and does it well. Also bitter ex lovers with Cyth. She hates both Cyth and Deziya but gets on with her job regardless of the two
Rezique is a strict imposter who does her job and does it well. Also bitter ex lovers with Cyth. She hates both Cyth and Deziya but gets on with her job regardless of the two
RV is a sweet loving crewmate who lovez to stay around o2 all the time.. also known as the Tree Lover of the lobby… He and Deziya are dating and they are the sweetest couple ever
Green literally doesn’t care about anything he just wanted a vacation and ended up dying before reaching Polus
Auris is an absolute sweetheart who sees good in absolutely anyone, even in Rezique after finding out she was imposter. She has feelings for Augre but is anxious they wouldn’t love her back
Augre is anxious but cheerful, having Squeaky as an emotional support pet that they love dearly. They always sit at comms and is known to be the messenger of the team
Donomin is nonverbal and shy, but really easy to excite around the cheerful part of the crew. Augre likez to let Donomin play with Squeaky to calm him down when he needz it
Dekye is Dad. that’s it. He is best dad of all time, extremely comforting and caring to everyone, though rather protective. He was assigned captain of the team
Amayu is from the other lobby, but I originally had her in the first one. She is deaf, and speaks in sign language, usually having Vee and Zee translate for her. She is really sweet and interactive, and also rather smart
Deziya is an imposter who WAS going to kill the crewmates with the other two, but ended up falling for RV and got together with them. They basically follow RV literally everywhere he goes. RV has already suspected they are an imposter, though they deny that fact. RV is completely okay with it though
Scenzorr is a cyborg who is sick of everyone’s shit. She survived many imposter attacks in her past and is extremely serious in all meetings, demanding they vote out imposters asap. She absolutely hates Torei to death
Cyth is the last imposter. She was once known to be the best imposter out of the three, but in this lobby specifically, she struggles to lay a finger on any of the crewmates, as they were the first to ever give her a real found family that loves her dearly
Torei is rather immature, though usually smart in some places. He likes to challenge Scenzorr’s thinking and harass her any time she susses on anyone in the crew. He likes the asteroids task a lot
Rest of the ocs are in the second crew with Amayu
Karuiz is a crewmate, but got infected by the parasite which controlled her to kill some of the crewmates. This mentally damages her a lot and she Begs everyone to vote her off, but they all (excluding Clock) refuse, convinced they can cure her somehow
Aspyratus is the parasite, who is fully stoic, but extremely smart with words, knowing how to convince everyone but their imposter partner and have their way. They hate Swirlz because they don’t know how to get into their head
Swirlz is silly. Little One is their little crewmate who ended up getting adopted by Dad against Swirlz’s will. This is how Swirlz comes out as an imposter in an attempt to retrieve Little One but Dad simply refused. Swirlz simply will Not kill anyone until they get Little One back
Dad is Dad. What more can I say? He picked up this imposter baby and simply went “Mine.” Swirlz hates him. He doesn’t care. Everyone hates calling him Dad but he refuses to be referred to as anything else
Systa is a crewmate who is extremely anxious and very easy to convince. They’re best friends with Karuiz and is really desperate to find a cure for them. They also end up crushing on Swirlz even after knowing they’re imposter and Swirlz has No idea how to comprehend it whatsoever
Clock is a bitter stepfather who lost his wife to an imposter. Little Star was his wife’s child which he unwillingly adopts and looks after. He makes it clear to everyone he hates children, which Dad ends up adopting Little Star later on. Clock also has an extreme hatred towards imposters and keep demanding they vote Karuiz and Swirlz off while everyone disapproves. By the way, absolutely nobody is aware that Aspyratus is an imposter except for Swirlz

I don't want this too long so I'm putting this under a cut but here's a description of all my(Official/named) oc stuff in their little universes.
In The Fur- My second oldest oc world and the one I am most proud of! In this world Earth has been knocked backwards on it’s orbit of the sun, causing mass destruction and chaos, and just when the survivors think they’re safe, something from before The Fling comes crawling out of the shadows, and nobody knows if they’ll survive this time, but one determined group from the remnants of Mint City will do all they can to fix this gap of survival against survivors and infected.
Stories of SunClan- My oldest oc world, I’m not too proud of it but it’s got a special place in my heart. These stories follow SunPaw and her lineage. From the daring young SunPelt to the loveable RockFall and to the bold GreenBlade and beyond, SunClan will fight to keep their place in the forest all together.
Friends From Other Stars- Mostly oc with a bit of Destiny. This story follows Ali, and albino anthro lion who has recently run away from his abusive home, he knows nothing but eventually comes across Verin, an Eliksni vandal who was recently thrown through a vex portal on his first ever patrol, together the two must brace the forest together.. Until an unexpected friend finds them, and now they both must brace something completely unknown to the both of them, society.
Cult of Bone- My most recent on world, so will be prone to change. After being kicked out of GladeClan, BonePaw and FireflyPaw venture out into the cold winter to build their own community, one that truly values the strong and protects the weak, but nothing is truly safe for them as the world constantly flips on it’s head, FireFly and Tuft must navigate it the best they can and light the darkness ever seeking to destroy them and manipulate them.
FireTeam Chaos- A somehow five-member FireTeam with a non-guardian member and only two official memners. Fossil, a Human Arc Hunter founded the FireTeam, followed by Kaisk, an Eliksni Captain, Jackie, a Human(later Exo) Solar Titan, Dutar, a Hive Void Hunter/Titan mix, and Scrapwork, a Scorn Void Warlock. They go on quite chaotic adventures as they live out their lives in the world of Destiny.
Crew S-116- Among us based, not really any story just a collection of characters. Black and Purple are two imposters on a standard mission, but Purple is reluctant, and eventually after being manipulated by Black she cannot do it anymore and learns to actually stand up for herself as she protects Lime.
Crew P-25- Among us based, another recent one and thus prone to change. Dark Sea Green, or Sea for short, must adapt to Polus after her whole crew dies, and after finding out some restricted information for legal reasons MIRA cannot allow her to return to Earth, but for those same reasons MIRA cannot kill her off, stuck in blackmail Sea accepts her fate to die on Polus’ frozen landscape, that is until she becomes an unlikely ally to a group of imposters.

For the WIP ask -
📝
Hey Pyro :D
I feel I should go with my two Among Us wips for this one, huh? warning for death n violence in the first one, oops. Im gonna stick this under a read more, it got long.
So my first is an animation, that haunts me as as all my animations do, set as all good animations should be, to ABBA's Gimme Gimme Gimme (a man after midnight)
its so dark.
Theres lowkey a lot of people dying and gore, oh my god, but its mostly off screen, so hey! this is what is affectionately known as my angst Au, and I have currently story boarded about 24 seconds, when its meant to run over the entire length of the song.
hhh.
Its uh, what I would call the finale of that au? some context, there's two impostors, both with very different reasons for being there, and both with very different reasons for even being imposters. Those two are Pink and Cyan.
Pink, my bastard child, is probably considered the true imposter, but in their defence, they didn't want to be there. Their species, a line of asexually reproducing autonomic plants prone to adaptable mutation, just so happened to have a seed whistling through the vaccum just so happened to pierce the glove of the poor og pink on a spacewalk. in the wake of the 'my glove just got depressurized in vacuum' the seed was missed, and pink (bastard) ate pink (poor bastard) from the inside out, with a unique ability to preserve a certain amount of the og meat's memories, to go along with the inherited memory passed along their family lines.
so pink is pink now, and obviously better than their predecessor bc that guy died and they wont, except theyre on a ship tracking towards a hyperjump, which is really, really bad new for a species that cant survive hyperjumps. also purple, the xenobiologist with a degree in psychology, whom had slowly been befriending them, just straight up asked them if they were an imposter, and they may have panicked and eaten their face, so there's that.
And that kinda kicks off everything.
And then there's Cyan. Cyan is the security officer, and his job is to protect the crew. Cyan is a very decorated, very senior security officer, who should have probably gotten trauma leave, but this is MIRA, because he just came from polus where he was one of only two survivors of a devastating alien viral attack, which cumulated in him having to shoot his not-his-friends-anymore.
Basically, Cyan's crew just got 'The Thing'd, and Cyan....
..well Cyan's been feeling sick lately. Cyan's been bleeding black, lately. Cyan's just came to awareness over the still gurgling body of his junior officer with Cyan's knife in Limes gut, and he's still not sure if he was the one in control, the one who did that or not.
So Cyan's having a fun time.
and thats what ultimately leads into the finale. Of their crew of twelve and one civilian occupant, Lime, Purple, White and Brown are dead, Pink has been revealed to not be pink, Green, Black, Red and Yellow are currently MIA, and Cyan just got ejected by the monster on board. The only crew that Blue, the captain, has been able to find is her second officer, Orange and his very scared child, on her way to the emergency lifepod's after she made a call to scramble the ship, the last broadcast before the internal systems went down. Because the skeld is slowly getting dragged into Polus's gravity, and Blue is very, very scared for her crew.
The Crew in turn, are scattered around the ship, some injured, some fighting to reboot systems to make sure the lifepods can even detach (MIRA incompetency at work again), one no-longer-crew desperately trying to get the engines going so they can commandeer the ship, and one with a gun in hand hunting down the sunovabitch that killed her friends. Red has never handled a gun before, but shes maybe not exactly thinking straight right now.
Because here's the thing. Ghosts are very, very real in my au, and there is a certain lime ghost who does know how, and they've just learned they can affect the physical world still, and whats a little possession with lives on the line?
And here's the last thing. Cyan, poor ejected Cyan floating in the vacuum, the infected imposter fighting against himself to stick to his job to protect and save the crew..
Well, Cyan hasn't had the good manners to die just yet. And Cyan is pissed at Pink.
And that's what kicks off the angst au finale animation :D
Annnnnd then a complete tone change, with a small excerpt from the other, much more comedy Among Us au, aka Define Imposter, aka Lime joins the Idjit Crew (affectionate) aka that Time I Accidentally Wrote a Hallmark Movie in Space, whose current reviews are "I would kill for them and I'm stealing them' from Brass, and 'I hate that I enjoyed it and it was Amogus,' from an anonymous irl, which I feel is pretty good for feedback:
"Captain," Lime stressed, "surely this ship can't be above board - wasn't this particular line of freighters recalled over ten years ago?"
Brown laughed sheepishly, pausing in the hallway, "I mean, technically yes, but ours is pretty refurbished and she’s had some extensive overhaul done to her, so they gave us a pass."
The lines 'the outer rim’s are short on functioning deep-vacuum capable ships so they run them well past their use-by' and 'no scrapyard mechanic even wants to approach the nest Yellow has going on at the back of the ship' were left unsaid.
"Besides!" Brown chuckled. "She’s a good ship, this old girl. I've been flying her for over the decade, and she's nothing if not reliable." She banged on the wall for emphasis.
Unfortunately that particular poor panel, unable to take anymore in its decades of abuse came loose at browns savagery, falling from the wall with a great clatter, and revealing the Skeld’s innards and some horrifying little charm probably left by Purple, bouncing once then falling flat with a final death rattle.
Both Lime and Brown stared at it, silently, before the captain coughed abruptly into the offending fist.
"I'm going to go get an engineer to fix that. Good talk, Comm's Officer Lime." Brown nodded stiffly, clapped lime on the shoulder, and broke into a brisk jog down the corridor and around the corner.
Lime felt that small shred of reassurance Brown had just allowed him slip away just as mournfully fast.
Ty for asking! :P

Did I ever actually... Post these?
They're written all fucked up, with the spacing, so I think I /must/ have posted these as prompt responses ages ago. But yknow, just to be safe, I'm plopping them here again. For fun. These are like, super old so. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Old enough I forgot they even existed.
Prompt: Poking at a Bruise
Humans were easy.
Keet wasn't naive enough to think that humans couldn't be dangerous at all - if that were true, there'd be no reason to avoid being caught. In a group, they could outnumber even an Impostor - and sometimes they had weapons which was an entirely different scenario.
One on one, though? Even two or three on one? Humans were easy. Weak. Blue had only struggled as much as he had - had only managed to kick Keet square in the face - because Keet had decided to play with the human a bit before actually finishing him off. Well, Blue and Green really - the way the latter had yelled and even screamed for his mate…
Even now, it made Keet smile. Although the movement was enough to aggravate his bruise and that banished the smile quick enough.
Humans were weak - but damn if Blue hadn't managed a solid kick. With a breath, Keet burrowed a little further in his blanket and turned his back to the room of sleeping humans and not-sleeping Impostors. With no preamble or care, Keet lifted a finger and stabbed it against the end of his nose.
He immediately clapped both hands over the same spot with a startled hiss. Poking the spot - the bruise, and wasn't that embarrassing - had sent a quick, sharp pain through every nerve that he had. It'd faded as quickly as it'd come with a brief pulse of the abused tissue - but all the same, it'd hurt.
Playing with the humans was fun. Still, Keet decided that next time he'd be a little quicker about it.
He also decided he'd spend a little more time savoring the bits of Blue he'd saved for himself. After all, the human had injured Keet - a bit of postmortem disrespect was well deserved.
Prompt: A feeling of acceleration on your chest
There was always a thrill in the hunt.
White had been Keet's first, on Polus - and as he'd held the human down with a claw wrapped tight around his throat, the terror in White's eyes had filled Keet's body with thrilled adrenaline. The way White had thrashed, had tried to fight without success - well. Keet had been chasing that high ever since.
It was why he'd let Cyan run, despite the dangers. Keet had hissed and snarled and it'd resulted in a chase through the Laboratory and down into Specimen - where Keet had finally launched himself at the desperate crewmate and allowed himself a moment of ferality as he took that human down, too.
This, though - this was special. Keet could tell by the way his own breathing was narrowing, the way his vision had sharpened - he could feel his hearts launching into a race, galloping in his chest with an acceleration so sudden it left his appendages tingling.
Captain Orange was alone. It was an unusual sight - usually, she was almost always flanked by her second-in-command, Black, but currently the dark suited crewmate was nowhere to be found. Not only did that leave Orange a prime target - but Tan was already so suspicious of Black. If Keet was lucky, this kill could net him two for one when the crew turned on their prime suspect.
A captain down. A crew in chaos. Another crewmate perfect for the blame - the universe had all but handed Polus to Keet on a silver platter. Those aspects only made the bloodlust in his veins cry louder. Hearts near fit to burst from his chest, Keet struck. Quick and dirty - he couldn't allow the clever captain time to reveal him - and then he escaped with his meal.
The others were not so quick to blame Black - but in the end, it didn't matter. Tan blamed her - and while Keet mourned some for a kill he could not claim, he couldn't deny there was satisfaction in watching a crewmate throw another into the lava pit.
There was talk of backup, of a new batch of crew on their way to Polus - but Keet wasn't bothered. This was fun - more humans just meant more to savor.

Dear Cyan,
Whatever you do, please don’t investigate the holes. Seal them off, bury them with snow, I don’t care how you do it just don’t let anything get in or out. Make sure your seismic stabilizers stay ON. Trust me on this.
Please.

MIRAPad: [Call disconnected- please reconnect and try again.]
Tumblr media
[...]
[Cyan attempts to reconnect a few times, but nothing works. Gritting her teeth, she clicks away from the call, distraught. She quickly types in a different ID. The MIRAPad crackles as it connects. The voice on the other end sounds more serious than usual.]
Cyan: "...Purple, you intercepted that emergency broadcast too, right?"
Purple: "...Loud and clear."
Cyan: "...can you send a copy of that transmission to Captain Black? I- I think another Polus research outpost just fell."
Purple: "Already on it. I'm tracing the ID so we can... send a location to the recovery teams."

The sequel to my old among us fanfiction is UP! or the first chapter of it is... full chapter available underneath the cut:
"welcome to Polus!" Blue greeted with exaggerated enthusiasm, shaking my hand with both of hers. "we've been receiving your communications for the past few days, so it's very exciting to finally meet you!" she finally let go, tipping her blue police hat to us before gesturing to the rose-coloured crewmate beside her. "This is Trent."
Trent waved, but showed no interest in shaking hands when I offered mine to him. He wore a backwards cap. "sorry we couldn't reply, our comms have been finicky."
Blue nodded solemnly. "as I understand it you're the temporary captain of this ship? with a prisoner, even! we'll take her off your hands and make sure she gets somewhere safe."
it felt like a relief to be able to trust leadership to someone who actually knew what to do with it. "thanks. we're supposed to be stationed here for three months? do you think our ship can be fixed by then or…"
Blue looked over the The Skeld with her hands on her hips. "hmm… I'll have to give it a closer look but I should have an answer for you in a week. until then, Trent? can you lead this group here to the office?"
Trent just nodded and gestured for us to follow.
he led us out of the dropship where I got my first exposure to Polus. the planet was noticeably cold, even under my suit. we had to trudge through snow just to finally come across the room where the office resided.
I noted the hole in the ground just outside the office.
"they're connected to the lava core to keep the rooms warm," Trent explained, presumably noticing my gaze. "we've yet to get new vents in."
the office was a large, cozy room. the centerpiece was a ridiculously long table with the emergency button in the middle. nearby was a projector, and closer to the walls was a water cooler and coffee maker.
"it's acceptable for your tasks to be below efficiency for a week as you get used to the place," Trent explained. "anyway, it's getting late and you've probably had a long day. let me show you your rooms."
"What-?" Imposter interrupted. "no dinner?"
"You missed it." Trent deadpanned before continuing on his way.
Imposter was one of my more reluctant friends. He acted scary and told a few too many jokes where the punchline was a thinly veiled threat, but once I got past that he was a good guy, really.
I approached my purple crewmate now. "I guess they have dinner earlier here?" I suggested.
Imposter only grumbled miserably.
the next day I was told I was pairing with my best friend Brown and someone named Rodeo.
"we like to stick to teams of three here," Blue explained chipperly.
"okay… who's Rodeo?"
"the tan one in a cowboy hat- you'll see him at breakfast."
I'm not sure why I expected better food just because we were on a planet. well, the eggs and toast were salted, at least.
Brown and I found Rodeo cheerfully adding coffee to his cream.
"pleasure," he greeted shortly, his voice warm.
By Brown's insistence, once Rodeo was ready we headed straight to security.
Brown immediately began flipping through the cameras. "I can only see one at a time which sucks… but wow I can see a lot more." he leaned forward eagerly. "any imposters are going to be caught immediately with this thing," he stated, sounding impressed.
"But there aren't any imposters," I reminded him. I turned around to grab Rodeo so we can finally start comparing tasks, only to find him gone. "Rodeo's-" was all I could manage before I was immediately fearing the worst. had I been wrong? was he dead already, just because we couldn't keep track of him? were we going to be ejected??
"...heading north of the office," Brown noted.
I was out of Security before Brown even finished his sentence, but it was all a false alarm. I found Rodeo sitting in the snow, building a snowmate. he was shaping the visor as I approached. "hey, Rodeo…"
Rodeo looked up at me, waving. "hey, Cyan! wanna help me build the pac?"
"…no."
Brown came along just in time. "what are you doing??" he snapped, though Rodeo didn't seem to register the anger in his tone.
"building a snowmate!"
"we have work to do, Rodeo," Brown explained impatiently. "you worried Cy- us. c'mon, let's compare tasks."
Browns tasks consisted almost entirely of repairing wires and fixing bits and bobs. for today, my tasks were mostly downloading and uploading, while Rodeo's were more varied, from taking out trash to replacing water.
"looks like we should start in O2," I suggested.
My task took me to a beautiful green room. The grass looked alien after so many weeks of grey and metal. and the tree- huge and flowering and awe-inspiring. Once I'd set my tablet to start downloading, I let myself feel small next to its mass. The very nearby 'vent' made the room almost suffocatingly hot.
"hey," Brown interrupted me from my daze. "have you seen Rodeo?"
"uh… one second." I confirmed the data was fully downloaded to my tablet before heading to the trash chute. but indeed, Rodeo wasnt doing his task.
we found him outside, alive, taking pictures of the craggy mountains just outside of O2.
Brown sighed, exasperated. "I'll wrangle him. you… just upload your data and meet us in the office."
I nodded even though the idea of being alone filled me with near paralyzing fear. 'There's no imposters here. there's no imposters here.' was the mantra I had to repeat to myself to get my feet to move towards communications.
I did not complete my journey, instead rooted in my spot at the sight of a figure huddled near the vent just outside of communications. just a crewmate just a crewmate- "h-hi?" I asked uncertainly, taking a slow step forward.
the figure turned to me, and I could see that they wore two top hats on top of each other. their suit was a colour I didn't recognize as approved by Mira- an odd shade of green.
their speaker sputtered, like they were trying to say something, but all that came out was static.
I froze mid-step, too scared to think logically when their visor met mine. I blinked, and then I was staring at a vent, alone.
I screamed and ran towards the office.

SKELD UNIT 10.042: RECORD XX
{> Sour Apple (Kei/Kem/Kir): [illegible]
> Berry Pie (They/Them): Oh, worm?
> Berry Pie (They/Them): Hey Sour Apple, I was startin' ta wonder where you'd gone.
> Sour Apple (Kei/Kem/Kir): Oh, uh? Hi, Doctor, what... what are you doing in here?
> Berry Pie (They/Them): Caught Mocha Bean's kid in here. Oh, uh, speakin' of Mocha Bean...
[chair squeaks, shuffling on carpet]
> Berry Pie (They/Them): Lavender Plum, d'ya know if Cap sent em ta medbay yet or not?
> Lavender Plum (Rei/Rhem/Rhir): Why would I know that?
> Berry Pie (They/Them): No need ta get huffy, was just a question. I figured you might know since you're both officers. I need eir kid to do a scan since jhey didn't with the rest of us when we boarded.
[a pause]
> Lavender Plum (Rei/Rhem/Rhir): Yes, Captain Vanilla Sundae sent Mocha Bean to medbay with eir kid.
> Berry Pie (They/Them): That wasn't so hard, see? Ya might just get that stick out of your ass before we get ta the Polus star system.
> Lavender Plum (Rei/Rhem/Rhir): Forgive me for wanting clarification, Doctor.
[chair squeaking, settling]
> Sour Apple (Kei/Kem/Kir): [sigh] Okay, thanks for watching the hub, Berry Pie. Lavender Plum, if you're done 'escorting' me, don't forget to uh, do that report thing I told you about?
> Berry Pie (They/Them): Report thing?
> Lavender Plum (Rei/Rhem/Rhir): It is none of your business, Doctor-
> Sour Apple (Kei/Kem/Kir): Yeah, I think Lemon Wedge is an impostor.
[silence]
> Berry Pie (They/Them): ... Lemon Wedge?
> Sour Apple (Kei/Kem/Kir): Yeah, it makes sense, doesn't it? Lemon Wedge has been-
> Berry Pie (They/Them): There ain't no way in the void that Lemon Wedge is an impostor.
> Lavender Plum (Rei/Rhem/Rhir): What makes you say this, Doctor?
[a pause]
> Berry Pie (They/Them): Well, for starters, it's too obvious. If it had anything ta hide, it sure ain't actin' like it.
> Lavender Plum (Rei/Rhem/Rhir): Impostors are unpredictable, Doctor.
> Berry Pie (They/Them): The only thing unpredictable about Lemon Wedge is who it's plannin' on flirtin' with next. And even that ain't too hard ta follow.
> Lavender Plum (Rei/Rhem Rhir): You seem rather determined to defend it.
> Berry Pie (They/Them): I ain't been wrong about an impostor yet, and Lemon Wedge don't feel dangerous to me.
[silence]
> Sour Apple (Kei/Kem/Kir): Um... can you still file that report anyways, Lavender Plum?
> Lavender Plum (Rei/Rhem/Rhir): Affirmative. We are not supposed to disregard impostor suspicions in any case.
> Berry Pie (They/Them): Wasn't suggestin' that you do. Just my personal thoughts on it, since you asked for 'em.
> Lavender Plum (Rei/Rhem/Rhir): Mmh.
> Berry Pie (They/Them): Anyways, 'fore I go, Sour Apple?
> Sour Apple (Kei/Kem/Kir): Yyyyes?
> Berry Pie (They/Them): Keep your suspicions secret. Any one of us in this room could be an imp, and you might've just given them a convenient way to manipulate you, usin' your thoughts on Lemon Wedge to their advantage.
> Sour Apple (Kei/Kem/Kir): O-Oh.
> Berry Pie (They/Them): Ain't tryna scare ya, but you need ta be careful. MIRA ain't givin' any fucks about our lives out here anymore.
> Sour Apple (Kei/Kem/Kir): ... Okay.
[footsteps over carpet, then metal, gradually retreating]
> Lavender Plum (Rei/Rhem/Rhir): [muttering] What a pain in the ass.
> Sour Apple (Kei/Kem/Kir): Huh?
> Lavender Plum (Rei/Rhem/Rhir): Just thinking to myself.
[footsteps over carpet, pausing on metal]
> Lavender Plum (Rei/Rhem/Rhir): Peach Melon, I believe Lieutenant Chili Pepper was looking for you earlier.
> Peach Melon (He/Him): [soft crinkling of paper]
[retreating footsteps over metal continue before being followed by a second, heavier pair]
> Sour Apple (Kei/Kem/Kir): Ughhh...
