au where everything is the same except mabel and dipper have been going to gravity falls every year before the show takes place since like kindergarten.

its a pretty simple premise that derives mostly from my desire to explore interpersonal relationships and the ways a place and people can change from a young child’s point of view. it doesn’t change canon that much either, admittedly, i just wanted to draw childhood friends stuff LOL. ill call it uhhhhhhhh every summer au.

Mr. Lancer is the brother of Lex Luthor. He never really had an eye for business, or invention, or innovation. He just wanted to be a teacher, spread the good word on literature. Which is the whole reason he had changed his name and moved to the middle of nowhere.

He does not appreciate his brother delivering a package in his door. Not delivering it personally, not even sending a physical person to do a drop off. Just a measly note.

What has Lex ever done for him? Nothing, that's what. So Mr. Lancer does the sensible thing. He opens the box to investigate to find - hardened ectoplasm?

Mr. Lancer knows about Danny and co. Au where Kryptonite is just hardened Ecto and is basically rock candy. Lex sends his brother a shit ton of kryptonite for safe keeping thinking 'he lives in the middle of nowhere what's he gonna do with it?' he feeds it to Danny :)

Freshly hatched. still wet with mucus and whatever #Have you ever seen a butterfly fresh from the cocoon and their wings are all crumpled up?#so yeah their unevenness is intentional lol #I spent forever debating whether I wanted to put Peri there #but ultimately I thought it made the composition more interesting so I kept him #Also youll notice his wings are slightly different now I decided to redesign them to be a bit more galaxy like #its hard to see here but Ive changed the 3 dots to resemble planets in a row: Green for cosmo pink for Wanda and different pink for timmy #I think it came out a bit ugly in this but whatever Ive spend too long on this already #I wanted Devs wings to be reminiscent of gold. For some reason I really liked the idea of them curving inward too #Maybe to represent that hes selfcentered. LMFAOOO this is a stupid thought I had but the recent wave of "Logan shows the X-men he's moved on and they realize how they've treated him" fanfiction reminds me of those "Peter Parker takes a Field Trip to Stark Industries" fanfics. Like exact same setup, except instead of Peter showing off to his highschool class that he's an intern and Iron Man's "son" we have Logan showing off to his ex teammates how he's capable of being tender and settling down with Wade as his "husband." ...We've come full circle.
