BACKGROUND
faizan was born on south london , to young parents ali and harpreet mirza. ali sold computers and harpreet was a stay - at - home mother. ali was a born salesman and was soon offered a new job in ontario when faizan was three. from that moment on , they didn't stay in the same place for more than two years at a time. from ontario , they moved to san diego , then to cape town , new delhi , new york city , canberra , islamabad , and eventually when faizan was close to finishing high school ... they settled in san jose , close to silicon valley , because harpreet was pregnant again.
for a while , bitterness towards his little sister remained. anger that his family had settled when they had her , but not for him. as she grew up , he did his best to avoid her. he begrudgingly babysat , doing just enough not to put her in harms' way , but little enough for his parents not to want to get him to do it again. eventually. they stopped asking. instead of babysitting , he spent his evenings in the local board game cafes or at lan parties. he took lessons in how to code , visiting the company his father had risen up in rank , now deputy director of sales , learning from the programmers there and eventually going to college to study business. every weekend , however , he was developing games , coding with friends , making them small websites , and generally keeping himself entertained.
when he finished university , he went and worked for the same company his father worked for. he worked there for three years before he had to get out of there and get some distance from his family. while he'd been at university , he'd gotten over the despise for his sister , but being so close to his family was driving him up the wall. he started his own company , building websites and applications for large businesses and began making a name for himself. soon , he was getting offers from google , facebook , twitter. he worked for google for a while , but eventually was drawn back to his own business. wallet overflowed and he was often found among the hollywood elite.
then , he met someone who genuinely inspired him. he'd made applications and websites before , mostly for others , though some of his own and they all had decent success. meeting juliette arias , hearing her story , falling in love , it gave him purpose. he created onlyfans in 2021 , creating it for the purpose of providing a safe space for creators of all content to be paid for their work and have safeguarding in place. from the minute he created the website , he knew what people would use it for , though he marketed it as a website for all kinds of creators to show their craft and get paid fairly. he's gotten quite a bit of heat since and been catapulted into stardom , showing up in talk shows , podcasts , interviews and even being invited for cameos in films and red carpets. with the money rolling in ... he'll take it happily.

PINK
i was going for a drive to orange for hannah's wedding
she was getting married to a nice french dude or is that a garçon with sad eyes
one day i was riding in the action bus with them and for the whole trip he put his sad head on her shoulder
meanwhile claire was digging into my nails absentmindedly trying to clean them
that hurt
we were traveling in chloe's old subaru sedan. chloe was from orange
it was during a pit stop at a petrol station that i realised i didn't bring my good shoes that i was supposed to wear for the wedding
they were cream close-toed faux leather mandals that i didn't know were faux and i got them custom-made at one of the (back then) trendy jamet cobblers at perbanas
i was kinda glad i forgot them i started to think they looked shit. like shithousery fuckety fuck fuck unquiet not even luxury
it was during another pit stop this time at a lookout that i realised i also forgot my beatles-style four-buttoned prada suit
i opened the trunk and it wasn't there
it might've been subconscious but how was it SUBconscious when it was so fucking obvious
that i was sabotaging this trip subconsciously deliberately
we had a late lunch at chloe's parents' house and i borrowed my wedding outfit from the dad
they fit perfectly except now in a white safari shirt i looked like a white lotus dick
the only thing i had that was mine was a levi's dark navy twill pants that at a glance passed for a formal-ish chino because the fabric was kinda shiny
we stayed in errol's, hannah's dad's house on a hill in orange with a view of a single jacaranda tree we could see from our bedroom window
the house was all blonde wood which made it feel both unfinished and welcoming
errol was a late-blooming artist who spent most of his life working at the arnott's factory in orange
hannah was also an artist, went to the art school in canberra, and had had a group show at a tiny gallery in surry hills that i wanted to see but claire, her cousin, my girlfriend then, didn't
i went to see it one afternoon making sure no one else was there
she did pretty things with onion paper, tiny fragile things that resembled colonies or crumpled shredded skin
there was also an incompleteness to her works that was charming and welcoming
i wonder if she ever made it in the art world
after the beautiful outdoor wedding under a grey sky, me shivering in the cold sans jacket, lloyd, claire's dad got us to move out of the wooden house and camped out in the bush not too far away, i think it was still in errol's property
he even set up a portable shower, a massive army green canvas water tank that he hung off a thick eucalyptus tree branch, with a shower head at the bottom
i thought of telling him a mandi would be much easier to set up and much more water-efficient but i restrained myself
that happened later
i don't know to this day why we had to sleep in a cold tent when we could've stayed in the charming blonde wooden house
i don't think i even fucked claire in the tent
lloyd made good eggs for breakfast, so there was that
later on i wrote a poem about a tree, a pond, no ducks, and winter for my first collection of poems and called it orange
have you seen sidewalks of london?
people who stay outside for too long find inside not a welcoming place to be

Australia 2023
15-17th January
Following an amazing month in New Zealand we bid our farewells and moved on to Sydney. Qantas decided to cancel our 8:00am flight and initially moved it to 1:30pm then changed that to 6:00am - it was already 6:05 so quite a dash to the departure gate only to discover this flight was delayed until 7:30!
We were met at Sydney airport by Alice, Judith’s cousin, and after a brief stop at her and partner Adam’s apartment, we all went on a decent walk around Sydney. We went through the park, war memorial and the lido, before following the harbour walk to the opera house and the harbour bridge via the botanic gardens. We then walked on to The Rocks where we had lunch and walked through the market stalls. We all went out for a meal at a local restaurant in the evening and it was really good to spend time with Alice, Adam and their fabulous Belgian Shepherd dog, Artemis.
On Monday we got picked up by Judith’s aunt Christine and partner John who drove us back to their home in Goulburn, about 2 hours from Sydney towards Canberra. Really good to see them again and looking forward to spending time with them knowing we will be well looked after! Following lunch en route and a scenic drive back which included scavenging amongst peoples kerbside bulky waste until John discovered an old scarecrow that he felt would somehow enhance the appearance of their home. The rest of us clearly lacked John’s imagination and were somewhat sceptical of this new addition! We arrived at John and Christine’s home, Folly Fields which we last visited about 5 years ago when the house was just a shell. What a transformation! John and Christine have personally built a truly inspirational home as well as developing a 5 acre garden from scratch - for a start they have planted over 500 trees!
On Tuesday we drove into Goulburn for coffee and cake at a cafe that was previously a catholic boys school and was now run in part by people with learning difficulties. We strolled across the road to visit the catholic cathedral that had been renovated in recent years following flooding and subsidence - a fine job they have made of it. We returned to Folly Fields to undertake a tree planting ceremony - a tradition for all visitors, followed by a good game of kangaroo spotting.
On Thursday we move onto Perth for our final 10 days before returning home to Devon at the end of the month.

Meet the Queensland gay vet helping save koalas
New Post has been published on https://qnews.com.au/meet-the-queensland-gay-vet-helping-save-koalas/
Meet the Queensland gay vet helping save koalas
Dr Julien Grosmaire is doing incredible work helping save koalas in Queensland. He spoke to QNews about his work and how he wants to make life easier for other LGBTQIA+ vets in the industry.
For Dr Julien Grosmaire, a love of animals had always been a part of his childhood.
The now 26-year-old grew up in France and was introduced to them at an early age.
“They put me on the back of a horse when I was younger and apparently my face lit up,” he tells me.
“From then on, it was always animals and vets and everything of that sort.”
Overcoming homophobia
Julien moved to Australia when he was 11 and attended a French school in Canberra before studying to become a vet at university in Wagga Wagga.
He took to his studies but often struggled in the country town.
“The experience I had on the veterinary side of things was amazing, it was more the social aspect of things that was at times challenging,” he explains.
“Going out on uni nights always felt a little bit risky. I didn’t know who I was going to encounter and what was going to happen as I seemed to get targeted because I used to hang out with a lot of girls.”
An unlikely inspiration
Julien had a breakthrough moment thanks to an unlikely source in RuPaul’s Drag Race.
After a particularly bad incident, he locked himself away in his room and binged the show.
“After two weeks, I had just watched so much Drag Race that I was just so inspired to get out there,” he says.
“It very much felt like, ‘Other people have so much worse than me, what am I talking about?’ What’s the point of being closed off in this world? I’m just doing a disservice to myself, and anyone targeting me kind of wins in that situation.”
Towards the end of his study, Julien also discovered the Pinnacle Foundation.
The Foundation offers scholarships and mentoring to LGBTQIA+ students with financial and mentoring support.
“It was just so good to have that little community where we would come online, like once a week and just catch up with each other say how things are going and discuss things,” Julien says.
Wagga Mardi Gras
With his newfound outlook, Julien also joined the Australian Rainbow Vets and Allies and when Wagga announced it was having a pride parade, he decided they should march.
“It was so daunting, I remember driving down the main street, and there were people there protesting against the Mardi Gras, and I was like, ‘Oh no, no one’s going to show up to this,’ it’s going to be just us walking down the main street,” he recalls.
“But it turned out to be the most amazing turnout with thousands of people, it was such a validating experience.”
A career with koalas
With university completed, Julien headed out into the world to start his career.
After getting his experience at a regular practice in Tamworth treating dogs, cats and other animals, he sought out his true passion: wildlife.
He found a position working with koalas at Endeavour Veterinary Ecology (EVE) in South East Queensland.
His work helping koalas is incredibly important as they face ever-increasing challenges.
“Koalas have recently been listed as endangered, in that the populations are declining,” he explains.
“Humans continue to clear land and reduce the habitat for them. We continue to fragment their habitats and so populations are being cut off. If clearing cuts off corridors that are used to connect koala populations, they become disconnected and so much more vulnerable to local extinction.”
Although the butt of many jokes, chlamydia is also a serious issue contributing to the decline of koala populations.
“They’ll get really severe eye and reproductive disease and go blind,” Julien says.
“Some can’t reproduce for the rest of their life, meaning that then the population just declines.”
A lot of Julien’s work involves treating chlamydial disease in his patients. This is an extremely specialised area. EVE’s niche work in koala health management has been pioneering at reducing chlamydia in populations that were otherwise on an extinction trajectory.
A regular day
Julien’s regular day can be examining a healthy koala, doing surgery on sick ones, conducting research or implementing different trials.
In the work EVE does, they often safeguard koalas when development activity intersects critical koala habitat.
“We make sure that the koalas are safe through that whole process,” he tells me.
“So if there’s a road about to be built, we can come in, put GPS tags on all the koalas to monitor them in near-real-time, do health checks and make sure that they’re out of danger.”
Julien has also been part of conducting a new trial of an escape device that allows koalas to safely exit road and rail corridors, nicknamed the “Koala Doggy Door”.
And what is something about koalas that many people don’t know?
“I think people think that they’re really lazy,” he says laughing.
“It’s easy to believe it when you see them in the day lounging in trees, but they become very active at night. They can travel wide distances to find new habitats, new homes, and new mates. I love studying the hidden life of koalas, there is yet so much to learn about them.”
Making it easier in the industry
It’s not just koalas that Julien puts his time into helping.
He is also part of Veterinary Kaleidoscope, a diversity and inclusion initiative to help more people get into and stay in the profession.
“The veterinary community is starkly not diverse and it’s a real challenge for people of diverse backgrounds to fit in, feel like they belong, and have someone that has their back,” he says.
Julien’s role with Kaleidoscope is focusing on mentoring and ensuring students and those starting their careers are getting the help that matches their experience.
“In other programs, you can be matched with someone who has no understanding of your experience, like mine as a gay man in rural Australia for example.”
When I chat to Julien he joins on a phone in the middle of the bush of Central Queensland.
He is staying on a mining site and the experience for him and particularly female colleagues can be difficult.
“As a cis white man, it’s easier for me to come into these settings and have more resilience when I’m faced with something,” he says.
“Whereas the way women around me sometimes get treated is very confronting, and I want to use my privilege to then make a difference.”
On top of saving koalas, and improving the experience of diverse vets, he is also a board member of Wildlife Health Australia.
Something that Julien explains “was a goal for the end of my career!”
Outside of work
For such a busy guy, he does find some downtime to switch off with an old friend.
“I still keep up with all the Drag Race franchises, unless it gets too much, because when you’re watching four episodes a week, it’s like, ‘oh my goodness, this is so much!’”.
He also has been able to connect with the queer community in Brisbane, something he found harder in smaller towns.
At his young age, Julien has already made a big difference for koalas and his industry.
However, through his journey from France to Wagga Wagga and then Queensland, perhaps the biggest impact he may have made is on himself.

Exploring Canberra Rural Property for Sale: A Perfect Blend of Country Living and City Convenience
Canberra, Australia's capital city, is not just a hub of political activity and urban living; it also offers stunning rural properties that provide the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. For those looking to buy a rural property in Canberra, the region presents a unique opportunity to enjoy the best of both worlds—serene country living with easy access to city amenities. This article explores the appeal of Canberra rural properties and what prospective buyers should consider.
Why Choose Rural Property in Canberra?
Scenic Beauty and Tranquility: Canberra’s rural areas are characterized by rolling hills, lush landscapes, and picturesque views. These properties offer a tranquil lifestyle, away from the noise and congestion of the urban environment. The natural beauty of the surroundings provides a peaceful retreat for residents.
Proximity to the City: One of the standout features of Canberra’s rural properties is their proximity to the city. Unlike many rural areas that are far removed from urban centers, Canberra’s rural properties are often just a short drive from the city center. This makes it convenient for residents to commute for work, education, and other urban amenities while enjoying the benefits of rural living.
Community and Lifestyle: Rural living in Canberra fosters a strong sense of community. Residents often engage in local activities, farming, and outdoor pursuits. The slower pace of life and close-knit community atmosphere contribute to a high quality of life.
Types of Rural Properties Available
The Canberra region offers a diverse range of rural properties to suit different needs and preferences. These include:
Acreages: Large plots of land perfect for farming, equestrian activities, or simply enjoying vast open spaces. Acreages often come with existing infrastructure such as barns, stables, and fencing.
Hobby Farms: Smaller farms suitable for those interested in sustainable living or pursuing agricultural hobbies. These properties can support activities like vegetable gardening, raising livestock, or producing artisanal goods.
Luxury Estates: High-end rural properties featuring expansive homes with modern amenities. These estates offer the ultimate in comfort and luxury while still providing the benefits of a rural setting.
Considerations When Buying Rural Property
Purpose and Lifestyle: Determine your primary reasons for wanting a rural property. Whether it's for farming, recreation, or as a lifestyle change, understanding your goals will help narrow down your options.
Land and Soil Quality: If agricultural activities are a priority, assess the quality of the soil and the suitability of the land for your intended use. This includes considering water sources and irrigation needs.
Accessibility and Infrastructure: Evaluate the accessibility of the property, especially in relation to essential services like schools, healthcare, and shopping centers. Check the availability of utilities such as electricity, water, and internet.
Regulations and Zoning: Familiarize yourself with local zoning laws and regulations that may affect your intended use of the property. This is crucial for ensuring that you can legally pursue your plans.
Conclusion
Canberra's rural properties offer a compelling combination of natural beauty, tranquility, and proximity to urban conveniences. Whether you’re looking for a large acreage, a hobby farm, or a luxurious estate, the Canberra region has something to suit every preference. By considering factors like purpose, land quality, and accessibility, you can find the perfect rural property to enjoy a balanced and fulfilling lifestyle. Embrace the charm of country living with the benefits of city proximity by exploring the diverse range of Canberra rural property for sale.

Community Activities in Narre Warren South
Community activities Narre Warren South are a great way to keep kids active and engaged. These include music programs that improve self regulation and memory, and Peaceful Kids, a mindfulness and positive psychology program.
Keen fisherman will love the recent trout stocking of Berwick Springs Lake, a tranquil setting within a suburban township. The reserve also features a number of ornamental lakes and wetlands.
Berwick Springs Park
The huge and scenic Berwick Springs Reserve is hidden away from the busy Clyde Road congestion. The wetlands run right across the middle of this large estate making it perfect for an afternoon stroll or 5km run, or for a family picnic. The lake along Berwick Springs Promenade is especially lovely and on sunny afternoons ducks and birds flock to it. There are plenty of benches around the lake and on summer days the water fountain turns on and sprays a cooling mist over you as you walk by.
There are also two fenced playgrounds, one at the northern end near Berwick Springs Promenade and the other closer to the centre of the park at Moondarra Drive. Both have slides, ladders, monkey bars, a tunnel, climbing net and a curved set of variable height stepping stones. There are also swings, including one for toddlers. The area is popular so on weekends and holidays you can expect to see lots of like-minded families.
Berwick Springs Wetland Reserve
Tucked away from Clyde Road, this huge reserve is a quiet spot to enjoy the outdoors. The wetlands span across the entire estate making this a perfect spot for an afternoon stroll, a 5km run or a picnic. There are multiple different paths which are all bike and pram friendly, allowing you to wander at your own pace.
There are a number of benches overlooking the lake's central lake where ducks and birds flock on sunny afternoons. There is also a large archway covered in lush greenery which makes an impressive entrance from Berwick Springs Promenade on the western end of the park.
The reserve has a small sand beach at the entry along with a jetty jutting out over the lake. During my visit I was delighted to see a pair of black swans lingering by the sand and water. The park has a number of circular fenced platforms overhanging the lakes along Moondarra Drive where you can sit and relax.
Casey Central Park
The park is a beautiful location for families and has something for everyone, no matter the time of year. Visitors can explore popular attractions on guided horse-and-carriage, bike, running and fitness tours, have a picnic, play on the playgrounds, visit Central Park Zoo or swim in the pool. There are also a number of sports and recreational activities available, including a skating rink and yoga classes.
The new community recreation park will expand the range of outdoor recreational opportunities for people of all ages and abilities. It will complement existing facilities in Casey, as well as broader Gungahlin and Canberra region recreation areas. Feedback from the community and stakeholders was sought on the indicative designs for the park ahead of construction commencing in 2023.
Parking is free and conveniently located on one level. There are almost 1400 spaces, including disabled and parents with prams parking. There are also numerous taxi ranks throughout the centre, including outside Blooms The Chemist.
Narre Warren South Tennis Club
The Narre Warren South Tennis Club is a great place for kids to stay active during school holidays. There are a variety of activities and lessons available for kids of all ages. The club also offers a range of competitive leagues and tournaments. Its members regularly compete in BDTA and WDTA competitions. The club also houses Millennium Tennis Academy, which provides professional coaching services for adults and children.

Mastering the Roads: Your Guide to Defensive Driving in Canberra
Tumblr media
Navigating Canberra's roads can be a daunting task, especially during peak hours or adverse weather conditions. However, with the right skills and knowledge, you can confidently conquer any driving challenge that comes your way. That's where defensive driving course Canberra come into play. In this comprehensive guide, we'll explore the importance of defensive driving, the benefits of taking a course, and how you can enhance your driving skills to ensure safety for yourself and others on the road.
Why Defensive Driving Matters
Picture this: you're cruising along one of Canberra's busy streets when suddenly, a car swerves into your lane without signaling. In such situations, your ability to react swiftly and safely could mean the difference between a minor inconvenience and a major accident. Defensive driving isn't just about following traffic rules; it's about anticipating potential hazards and taking proactive measures to avoid them.
Benefits of Defensive Driving Courses
Signing up for a defensive driving course in Canberra is one of the best investments you can make for your safety on the road. These courses go beyond the basics of driving and equip you with advanced techniques for hazard recognition, risk assessment, and collision avoidance. Whether you're a novice driver or a seasoned veteran, there's always something new to learn in a defensive driving class.
Challenges on the Road
Canberra's roads present a unique set of challenges that drivers must navigate with caution. From unpredictable weather patterns to heavy traffic congestion, there's no shortage of obstacles to contend with. However, by honing your defensive driving skills, you can stay one step ahead of these challenges and maintain control of your vehicle in any situation.
Step-by-Step Guide to Defensive Driving
Enroll in a Defensive Driving Course: Search for reputable driving schools in Canberra that offer comprehensive defensive driving programs.
Learn Defensive Techniques: During the course, pay close attention to defensive driving techniques such as scanning the road ahead, maintaining a safe following distance, and using mirrors effectively.
Practice, Practice, Practice: Put your newfound skills to the test by practicing defensive driving techniques in various driving scenarios, both in controlled environments and on actual roads.
Stay Alert and Focused: Avoid distractions such as mobile phones, loud music, or fatigue while driving, as these can impair your ability to react quickly to potential hazards.
Update Your Knowledge Regularly: Road conditions and traffic laws may change over time, so make sure to stay informed and update your defensive driving skills accordingly.
Consider the case of Sarah, a Canberra resident who recently completed a defensive driving course after being involved in a minor fender-bender. Prior to taking the course, Sarah's confidence behind the wheel was shaken, and she found herself feeling anxious every time she had to drive. However, after completing the course and implementing the techniques she learned, Sarah's confidence soared. She now feels empowered to handle any driving situation with ease and has even noticed a significant improvement in her overall driving performance.
In conclusion, defensive driving is not just a skill; it's a mindset that can save lives. By enrolling in a defensive driving course in Canberra and mastering the techniques taught, you can become a safer, more confident driver. Remember, the road may be unpredictable, but with the right skills and knowledge, you can navigate it with ease. So why wait? Sign up for a defensive driving course today and take the first step towards mastering the roads of Canberra.

Groovin the Moo festival’s cancellation is expected to have a ‘profound ripple effect’. So what went wrong?
On Wednesday, organisers of the Groovin the Moo festival, Cattleyard Promotions, announced they were cancelling all six regional festivals, just eight days after tickets had gone on sale.
International headliners including Melanie C, GZA of Wu-Tang Clan, the Kooks and the Beaches were to play the touring festival in late April and early May, alongside Australian acts Jet, King Stingray, Mallrat and San Cisco.
In a statement on social media, the festival said they were “extremely disappointed” but that “ticket sales have not been sufficient to deliver a regional festival of this kind”.
All ticket purchases will be automatically refunded. The organisers have declined to respond to media requests for further comment.
With dates set for Wayville in South Australia, Bendigo, Canberra, the Sunshine Coast, Newcastle and Adelaide, Groovin the Moo is the latest music festival to temporarily fold this year. On New Year’s Eve, the long-running Falls festival in Byron Bay did not go ahead, with organisers saying they would take a year off to “recalibrate”. Adelaide’s Vintage Vibes was cancelled in late January and Camden’s ValleyWays festival was also cancelled in January, citing “cost of living pressures”.
The Greens issued a statement on Thursday saying music festivals were collapsing due to inflation, and changes in how the public purchases tickets due to an uncertain economic environment.
“It’s clear that there is an urgent need for government support to keep the industry going through these uncertain economic times,” said the Greens spokesperson for the arts, Sarah Hanson-Young, who has asked arts minister Tony Burke to fund another round of live music grants in the May budget, and work with the festivals industry to enable them to stay viable.
But an insider told Guardian Australia that poor tickets sales may have also been affected by the mix of artists chosen to perform. “We think we got the lineup wrong,” they said the organisers told them.
‘We need to take stock of what’s really going on here’
The Greens said it was clear the festival industry was still “struggling to get back on its feet since it was decimated by the Covid pandemic”.
But Dr Andy Ward, senior lecturer in contemporary music at the University of the Sunshine Coast – a short drive from a Groovin the Moo site – said the issues facing the live music industry were more complex.
“The industry has been through the wringer since Covid, but we can’t really continue [just] blaming Covid-19 for the change in consumer behaviour,” said Ward, whose research area is the economic and political environments of the music and entertainment industries.
“Younger audiences have completely different expectations to pre-Covid audiences. You’re talking about a generation who … may have spent their last years of high school or their first years at university in lockdown, isolated at home or certainly in less close social contact environments … and there is the issue of social anxiety we’ve been looking into.
“We need to look at the other things they’re spending money on, and it seems to be home entertainment and more streaming-based media. Younger people aren’t engaging in the traditional coming-of-age [experiences], they’re socialising at home and having house parties.”
Ward said the Groovin the Moo cancellation on the Sunshine Coast was nevertheless surprising, given its enormous success last year. All 25,000 tickets sold out within five days, for a lineup that included Fatboy Slim, Amy Shark, Eliza Rose and Ocean Alley.
The chief executive of Queensland’s music industry development association, Kris Stewart of QMusic, said rising insurance and transport costs meant touring events had to practically sell out in order to break even.
“We need to take stock of what’s really going on here,” he said. “Do these festivals need to be smaller, do we need to find less expensive ways of touring? Are there other more sustainable ways of doing things, where maybe [organisers] pick up more national artists, instead of international artists, and have fewer people on the road? There’s a number of things that I think need to be considered … we can’t just keep ploughing ahead like this.”

18th January - 22nd January (part 1)
Mike has been suffering with Tennis Elbow for about 6 weeks and has not been able to do much on the house. It is very frustrating for him, so we headed back to Tumut for a bit of fun. We have had a very busy few days. After arriving late on Thursday due to having our electricity meter changed in Canberra, we had a nice relaxing BBQ.

Friday, we decided to go for a drive and ended up at Braymont Gardens. We had the place to ourselves and a lovely chat with the owner. The garden is 10 years old and being improved all the time. We will definitely go back and have lunch on the veranda with that spectacular view. On the same property is Obsession Wines and Jane purchased a few bottles. We are looking forward to taking friends there. We stopped in Tumbarumba on the way home for lunch at the Vault (the old bank building). It was the first time we had seen it open so grabbed the chance to try it. We will eat there again when in the area. There are so many great places for us to enjoy.
