Yuga showed Tomura the JOYS of fancy cheese the first time they met.

Aoyama would have been around 4-5 I think and Tomura around 9-10 and I think that immediately Tomura would be like 'he gives me stuff... Kurogiri, Ujiko and Sensei give me stuff... He's family now.' Because his logic works like that.

As they got older, Yuga wanted to play chess or cards or some other tabletop game, while Tomura was more into video games, so they compromised and Yuga taught Tomura card houses and how to play chess, and Tomura introduced Yuga to the wonderful world of D&D, Warhammer, Magic the gathering and Pokémon.

Yuga liked D&D the best, because he could be whoever he wanted. He would often be a half-elf Bard who would charm guards into a false sense of security and Tomura was an Elf Rogue who would sneak up behind them and infiltrate the BBEG's place.

Every time Yuga and his fa. Ily got summoned anywhere by AFO, they freaked out, so imagine Yuga's pleasant surprise when out of nowhere he's transported from the dorms, into a nice, plush office where newly (crowned?) Grand Commander Shigaraki, who honestly just wanted to catch up, play D&D and eat Cheese

Yuga was never really scared of Tomura. He knows what he's capable of, yes, but he knows that Tomura values his allies and friends, and especially the people he views as his family and would most likely never hurt him on purpose. He's only really scared of Dabi.

Yuga is a student in Class 1-A at U.A. High School, where he's training to become a Hero. At first, he's vain and prideful. Yuga thinks he's superior to the rest of his classmates, especially regarding his Quirk. He exhibits flamboyant mannerisms, likes posing, and grabbing the attention of those around him despite frequently being ignored by his peers. Yuga's expression rarely changes from a closed smile, even while he speaks or gets hurt. He's also prone to getting upset if interrupted or questioned. When it comes to his speech, Yuga often speaks in a fancy tone and plays up his French heritage by occasionally implementing French words into his sentences. However, this persona is a façade. Yuga holds severe insecurities and guilt due to his upbringing and the true nature of his Quirk. Though he desires friends, he rarely has the confidence to act upon it. This is due to Yuga's insecurities and lack of social skills. He can unintentionally come off as "creepy" to others when he genuinely means well. But this is later revealed to be guilt from his mistakes. Believing he's unworthy of having friends, Yuga opts to self-isolate by eating school meals alone and generally avoiding most social situations. Despite this, he's quite observant with an unpredictable nature. Yuga has a compassionate side, too, as he sympathizes with those who have what he perceives as highly self-harmful and uncontrollable Quirks. He's genuinely kindhearted and desires to do good. Once he and those he loves are out of danger, Yuga slowly becomes more open and friendly with everyone.
